The problem here is you and me define "mature" word in a relationship different way. For me, if a couple know how to communicate, how to understand each other and how to support each other without any stupid misunderstands and even if they have misunderstandings, they give the other person a chance to talk or explain, that's a mature relationship for me.

Not sure if you check out the drama yet or not. But the main leads were not step siblings when they were kids, they were neighbors and they were just friends. Later he went abroad when he was in school and he never had any contact with the fl. They didn't even recognize each other when he returns from abroad until they got to know each other's names. When they were young, the main leads dynamic were never a brother sister dynamic but was just friend, he even called her by her name, treat her like his similar age.
