Witty sci-fi comedies with a slice of life feel. One is a Japanese drama, the other a Japanese movie.
It wasn’t me. Yumi said it herself….probably out of embarrassment but she said it pretty Noona who buys food.
2 dramas about sincere relationship between an older woman and a young man.

- MLs are lawyer and seem cold at first
- Same actor for SML who is loyal, funny and charming
- Slow burn romance before they get together
Differences:
- ML in YAMFL is so much gentler and he has been in love with FL for 10+ yrs

Same director. Both are workplace romances with lots of comedy. ML and FL start as enemies but get closer as the show goes on.
-same plot where they agree to only date for a week
-at first they don’t take it seriously but then they realize their feelings

They are both dramas about stopping smugglers. They have good team chemistry, witty bantering, and insightful messages. They don't try to vilify the regular people who were forced to work in the smuggling ring.
If TLOTFG left you wanting more of the same energy, Pursuit of Jade is your next watch !
- Strong FL who owns her story
- ML just as strong if not more, who actually has the emotional intelligence to show up for her without making it weird
- Feminist undercurrent that trusts you to feel it rather than spelling it out
- The romance is well paced and the chemistry convincing
- The antagonists are fleshed out enough to occasionally steal the whole show. And by occasionally I mean consistently.

Kinoshita Kazuya is a 20-year-old college student who has a wonderful girlfriend: the bright and sunny Nanami Mami. But suddenly, he doesn't. Without warning, Mami breaks up with him, leaving him utterly heartbroken and lonely. Seeking to soothe the pain, he hires a rental girlfriend through an online app. His partner is Mizuhara Chizuru, who through her unparalleled beauty and cute demeanor, manages to gain Kazuya's affection.
But after reading similar experiences other customers had had with Chizuru, Kazuya believes her warm smile and caring personality were all just an act to toy with his heart, and he rates her poorly. Aggravated, Chizuru lambastes him for his shameless hypocrisy, revealing her true pert and hot-tempered self. This one-sided exchange is cut short, however, when Kazuya finds out that his grandmother has collapsed.
They dash toward the hospital and find Kazuya's grandmother already in good condition. Baffled by Chizuru's presence, she asks who this girl might be. On impulse, Kazuya promptly declares that they are lovers, forcing Chizuru to play the part. But with Kazuya still hung up on his previous relationship with Mami, how long can this difficult client and reluctant rental girlfriend keep up their act?
