After Wu Xie found a painting of a young man in the post office in Medog County and returned from Nepal, his peaceful life was interrupted again by the sudden visit of Jin Wan Tang. He brought a scorpion-shaped pendant from the Zhang family's ancient mansion, which was closely related to Zhang Qi Ling in his childhood. In pursuit of clues, Wu Xie went to Nepal again and then moved to Medog. In Medog, all kinds of clues related to Zhang Qi Ling are coming. Wu Xie realized that he had come to Medog and found that it was not accidental but it was planned by someone. I feel like LHF is a lighter and funnier version of The First Frost.
TFF is emotionally very heavy and represents trauma and its effects. LHF isn't that emotional (yet).
The main characters of both dramas share a house.
They start off with banter and bickering, but then slowly get comfortable with each other.
The characters understand each other very well.
Both Yifei and Sang Yan come off as cocky, silly, and maybe a little arrogant, but they're actually caring and kind-hearted.
Yes, these dramas have more differences than similarities, but I find them both easy to love and comforting. Hope u guys love it too.

The romance isn't overshadowing the plot at all. There are sweet and lovely moments between the leads, but the plot doesn't stray away from the mystery, revenge, etc.

Both dramas feature a young woman carrying emotional burdens while navigating personal struggles and complicated family circumstances. The leads share a meaningful connection that develops into love, but emotional wounds, misunderstandings, and life challenges eventually drive them apart. Despite the separation, lingering feelings remain, and years later they are given a chance to reconnect, heal old scars, and rebuild their relationship. However, When I Meet the Moon focuses more on emotional healing, psychological growth, and overcoming personal trauma, while Never-Ending Summer leans more toward melodrama, misunderstandings, and a second chance romance shaped by years of separation.
