This Series Is The Best
Very like it this series. Amazing story... there's romantic and comedy, and the most important this series is enjoy & not make stress. Acting is very good. I don't know why the rating down, but i can say "This is the best series that I watched". So many series that I watched, but just this series not make me bored. Very very like it. I very recommended this series. Music also very good. I like all in this series. This series is perfect for me. I can watch it repeat... repeat... and repeat again. Was this review helpful to you?

It was a very informative drama - every episode felt like a criminal psychology lesson. Some cases were predictable for me, but even then, psychology lesson haven't failed. It has induced me to observe a criminal's behavior, to pay attention on the small things like facial expressions, body language or anything that could help determinate their true face. And what amazed me the most are guest roles - most of them fit perfectly and they have shown us a range of emotions - fear, anger, animosity, anxiety, pain, repentance, madness. Especially the guy in 8th and 9th episode who played a robber (i think it's Kohama Masahiro, but I'm not sure). The main characters were great as well. Some of them evolved, some have stayed the same, but overall they were all amazing. Personally, i think they could make a bit more of a story about our main characters' life (and i don't mean romance between them - i don't find it necessary, but i wouldn't find it unnecessary either if there was a bit of it), i think that it would add a bit more volume to the story if we knew more facts about their life (we do know few facts, but I'd like more :P) and that would certainly make a better background story and final battle.
As for the music, the ost was great - i would call it 'a professor's theme', somehow whenever i hear the ost, the image of Fujiki pops up in my head. The background music was nothing special, but personally, i don't think it's of big importance.
I'm not sure about the rewatch value. Probably after some time, when you forget about all the details you will enjoy rewatching it.
So once again, if you're fan of crime/psychology dramas, you wouldn't want to miss this one. Enjoy!

The drama had a lovely premise but it went all wishy-washy somewhere in the middle, loop holes popped up here and there into the story line because they tried to make the conflicts seem more complicated and instead it had dead ends or unexplained troubles which were left unresolved. Although this was the things I disliked about this drama, there were the perks of seeing my favorite character end up with the girl he likes. I'm not going to mention who it is because I wouldn't want to spoil it to prospect viewers but for me that is much of a happy ending and a drama with happy endings - works well for me BIG TIME.
As for the actors/characters, Aaron Yan has gone quite a long way and has matured from that role he had from "It Started With A Kiss". There was a really huge difference from his acting way back up to this drama and boy has he turned into a good looking guy! I like how he handled the complicated character of Ting-Yu. The seemingly bi-polar attitude, happy at times then all of a sudden angry and rigid. But when his character comes in contact with CJ which is acted by Jie Kai, Tung-yu's character seems to be more carefree and outspoken. Both actors had this awesome chemistry of being really good friends and they looked really comfortable on acting their characters.
The female leads on the other hand - I felt that they were slightly over shadowed by the male lead character, like for Alice - I know that the story is supposed to revolve more around her but it seems that her character was not written with a stronger conviction of who she really is. She was initially a nice girl, then suddenly a bad girl then gradually into the drama, she became a nice girl again then bad then nice again. It was sort of annoying that the writer didn't stick with a proper character for her. There was no sense of continuity. I know it was an act within an act, but there was not proper flow. It was too irritating to watch. As for Die Fei, there was so much potential in her character but the singing thing was like cropped out of no where. It was annoying how her story had to go in circle with Ting-Yu's, that everything she did was because of Ting-Yu and not basically about herself. She had to find herself because of the help of someone else, it's sort of sad. An awakening of a person's worth should not come from other people but from within. One thing I liked about her though was her voice, I swear it was like watching "Love at the Dolphin Bay" all over again and hearing Angela Zhang sing for the first time. My ears where momentarily in heaven.
I only wished the female's characters had stronger back bones - like the older one named Lisa. I loved her character in so many ways. It was rich and full of story and she had purpose in the first place. The actress gave justice to her role as well.
I have already re-played my favorite scenes with all the cutey stuff and musical stuff, so for me this drama is basically re-watchable. Hopefully, the story line won't be too disappointing - over all this series is not a waste of time because it stirred my heart and made me smile a lot.

The storyline was really good and I liked the whole plot. Girl finds a stray puppy, girl decides to raise it (with permission from her parents of course), girl starts going through changes (along with the dog),and starts growing up to the point where she hardly spends time with her pet. The music was really good, especially the popular American song "Time After Time", which is pretty much the main music in this movie and a good rendition of the original, especially at the end. And the characters were very developed as well as the acting.
I say this is a good movie to watch if you want a movie that is sure to touch your heart and leave you with memories of your first or current pet, or a good film or touching one in general, be sure to watch this film. Just a warning to bring lots of tissues. Your going to need plenty of tissues. All in all 5/5.

The Borne Identity Action in a Drama!
I was not ready for how good this Action drama was! I'm a big action movie junkie and the action in this is on par with the best of them. Think Borne Identity but as a series. The whole time I kept watching and thinking "WHERE DID THEY GET THE BUDGET FOR THIS?!" Every episode is thrilling and action-packed with little to no drop-off throughout the whole series. From the high production value, the gritty saturated camerawork, the raw and unbridled fight sequences, edge-of-your-seat gun fights, and explosions, while counter-balanced with a well-paced espionage plotline and actors at the top of their game. Not to mention the exotic film locations. I've never seen anything like this done so well in a drama before - EVER. In any language or country. So if you love action and espionage give this a shot.

Why fear when you have your family by your side
A good uplifting drama that shows no matter how tough the life may get, no matter how hard or how many times you fall, get up again and strive forward. A show that tells you even if the world is against you, as long as you have your family by your side don't be afraid and face it head on.Cheng Anxin a girl whose dreams are shattered when she loses both her legs, the effect is not just on her professional but personal life too. Even at her lowest when she has given up on herself, her mother steps in and helps her get back on her feet ( well prosthetic limbs) and in the process both of them heal and the bond becomes even stronger.
Ruo Hua a girl with a broken relationship with her controlling mother who still is recovering from her son's death doing everything to become independent and get away from her. Her and her mother's relationship arc goes through many trials and complexities and in the process many scars emerge and heal, some new relations are formed while some are broken.
The cast have done a phenomenal job in showing the emotions people goes through when facing harsh realities and how they react to such situations. The complex relationships between mother and daughters are shown quite well. Overall the show is a good healing drama.

Viewers may note with some interest Jet Li in the starring role. Casting him was not a mistake. He disappears so completely into Sam Wong that I completely forgot Jet Li, famed action star. All that was left the gentle, loving father trying desperately to find a place in the world for his misunderstood child. Nothing would please me more than to see Li continue to show such different sides of his acting. As Sam's autistic child, Da Fu, Zhang Wen had a very convincing performance. He must have studied carefully to gain such a high level of realism. It was also easy to feel the love portrayed between the two; without such chemistry, the story would have failed.
Another well-handled aspect would be the use of cinematography. Gorgeous shots and quietly nurtured imagery adds a gentle sense of tragic beauty to the experience.
More sensitive viewers should be careful with this film. You may experience deep emotions despite the fact Ocean Heaven is subtle as can be. I felt moved, saddened, and outraged by turns; I actually wanted to go through the screen and help this poor family out myself. Needless to say the last 30 minutes had me in tears.

In it, we see a story told entirely through sign language from actors and crew belonging to and familiar with the community. This was actually the first project from the director where they utilized sound, and they did so very well. For instance, the audible sounds that deaf individuals may let off while talking to each other. I know that this is a subject that's brought up a lot in the deaf community in reference to interactions with hearing people. The film also utilized scene-fitting speechless ambient music in the background which definitely helped me, as a hearing individual, focus on the film better than if it was pure silence.
In it, we see the development of concerns about coming out after a bad first coming out experience, especially in the context of how small the deaf community is in some areas. We see a diversity of rounded LGBTQ rep through our main and support characters (bisexual, gay, lesbian, trans ftm, and trans mtf) as they create a safe haven for each other through the sharing of their stories and understanding. In fact, Ayumi even explicitly draws a diagram showing how gender, sex, and sexuality are all independent spectrums of identity.
The acting was also great. Normally, I will tear up upon hearing someone's voice cracking. But Hana's facial expressions were so detailed and spot-on that I found myself tearing up even without the audio input that normally contributes. However, while I was completely sold on the characters as individuals, I didn't think that the 2 FLs had romantic chemistry. They felt more like really close friends. They lacked the glances between each other that would have really sold their emotional investment to each other.

Aseptic
It's cute and sweet and the story is a bit more involved than the usual endless silly BLs that are being produced. What I did like was the fact that the relationship developed quickly and without a lot of nonsensical roadblocks to tell them that they should not. But the way it is presented is so dull and flat that I did not care. Perhaps others are ok with showing little to no signs of connection as a couple (love), but I do. Otherwise, all it looks like is an exercise for an acting class. What is your point? If I cannot understand your point, then you have failed. There is not enough here to even care about a relationship. let alone see one. It has nothing to do with the acting. The acting is good. It is the story or lack there of. Give me something beyond a yawn after I finish watching this. Was this review helpful to you?

Top Tier BL Series - A Masterpiece That Needs To be Shared!
This is by far the best BL series I've seen! Unlike majority of other BL series, you won't hate on the third party (Thorfun, if you could even call her that). Had it been Thorfun's story without Tian, it would still be good and I'd still watch it. But the concept of having Tian as a recepient of Thorfun's heart is exemplary!!For more than 2 months, I have been patiently waiting every Friday for new release. I even watch the reaction videos of the director and his friends! You should also check that out because you'll appreciate everything about ATOTS more. With their effort, THEY REALLY DESERVE TO BE LOVED AND TO REACH A WIDER AUDIENCE! I recommend this to all my friends even to non BL fans because in this series, same sex relationship is normalized and not taken as something that the main character would fight or deny. We need more of this approach because love is love no matter the gender.
Do I need to say more about the cast? The visuals are suuuuperb!!! How can they even look good with minimal make up under a bright sunny day or gloomy day?? I also can't believe this is Mix's first acting stint. You can really see how they are comfortable with each other because their chemistry is off the charts! This shouldn't be put to waste, let's support them for more!!

Story- The story was simple but never boring. The first part deals with bullying but most of the plot is just the trials that the couple faces in order to stay intact. I found myself becoming too into the romance between the leads. A lot of the scenes they had together were awkward in a good way, they made me laugh because it really was cute. I liked how they came together as friends first because they had something in common (they wanted to escape from their reality). The Kingyo Club is the place where they could that. I even wanted to be a part of their club too! lol. The ending is sweet.
Acting/Cast- Most of the cast is newbies which really surprised me. The acting was very natural which I'm not used to seeing in J dramas. The leads were phenomenal and had an amazing chemistry. They really made the cutest couple ever. The supporting cast all played thier roles well. The villains were villainy but you still felt sympathetic for them.
Music- Fit the scenes well but nothing I'd listen to outside the show.
Rewatch- This drama is short and I loved the leads so I definitely could rewatch this every year.
Overall Kingyo Club might be simple but its a very memorable piece.

A Pleasant Surprise!
When I began watching this series, my expectations were quite low, especially since I believed it was a sequel. However, it turned out to exceed my expectations, earning a spot on my best-of-2024 list. It encompasses all the elements I love in a Wuxia and Fantasy series: underdog heroes facing crazy obstacles they must fight their way out of and fun adventures.
The main team of four characters was incredibly likable, each with mysterious and interesting backgrounds and unique talents. The romance was slow burn, but not in a frustrating way because the leading heroes had such a BFFmance going on. I found myself thoroughly enjoying every episode, and it's safe to say there was never a dull moment.

Sweet & Cute
Ok i just finished this,i started it this morning so everything is all fresh. This is a very plain story,Friends to lovers.Thats all.No character development,no deep and complicated thoughts.
Just two cuties confessing their love to each other.
One episode totally broke me(i wont say which,no need to spoil it)and i was like "WTF!!" "Why?why?Whyyyyyyyyyyy??"
but everything cleared up eventually.
Lets dip into some details.Sometimes the acting was-let me phrase it in a polite way-awkward.Like yeah you can feel the actors were actually..acting.Awkward!there was chemistry but seemd forced sometimes.Mostly by one of the main leads, the other was pretty decent.2nd detail.the directing was also awkward Iam not an expert but as a viewer lots of times bothered me.
The secondary couple was ok.Nothing wow there.
And after reading all these im sure you wanna ask me why i gave it a 9!Is it a real 9?Tbh,NO is not.
But in almost every episode i remember myself smiling.I had a nice time watching it and at the end i didnt say i wasted my time.
And i made a promise to myself.Every time i watch a BL i will NOT compare it to another series(yes yes you all KNOW which series iam reffering to!!)
Oh and dont forget to mention those Cameos!ohhhhhhhhhh melted my little heart!Watch it and you will see!
