of course the chick that seduced Makoto's bf, knew what she was doing & for whatever reason was targeting Makoto (time will tell i guess) but glad to see that Makoto does have a backbone. was surprised she didn't fold the sec that condescending ass started gaslighting her - but given his treatment of her, i will be shocked if he never manhandled her in all the time they were together. there's no way - he's the type to understand what he's got on his hands & how far he can go & sadly she the type of woman, that thinks it's ok for the man she loves to treat her like dirt & getting treated like a punching bag wont be unheard off. so she should've known that he would resort to violence the 1st chance he got - especially when they were all alone - so why the frack agree to go talk to him in a secluded place?!? given how he was "talking" to her vis the messages why she think he would suddenly be civil face to face when they all alone???? when he was losing it at their work place in front of everyone??? but i guess she can't suddenly turn into something she is not - so at least we got something with her not "folding" & going back to that douche...

i was the one that was curious about this drama, so i can't blame anyone & yet the FL is frustrating - her character - the doormat, the pushover, the subservient moron that allows the man she loves to not just take her for granted, but allows him to treat her like sh*t & worse part he enables others to do the same. while she just smiles & accepts her fate - cause that's love?!? idk why Japanese romcoms & drama's love to portray this type of female - i don't need a ballbuster or a badass boss-babe that can kick ass - but there is no in between?!??! it paints a poor picture of what women r like or expected to be in Japan & it's saddening - cause in real life there aint no knight in shinning armor that comes to save the day, like Odagiri Ren did with the FL. the fact he was interested & not just ready to offer his home the sec Makoto needed it, was eye roll inducing. same with Makoto's bf's behavior. ***************************************************************************************************************but she might as well be a blade of grass that in a strong wind blows every which way, cause she lacks any really substance = backbone. if this was real life the fact Odagiri Ren is attracted to her, means he can recognize a pushover he wont have to work hard to subdue - while Makoto is the typical victim that attracts men that will use & abuse her. but this drama land so it's more fanciful & unrealistic - oh well - at lest this short.

He toasts to the guests assuring them he will take care of Ye Li and never leave her alone. He is lucky they do not know he already broke that promise. 😝After the meal, Xiu Yao gets Ye Li to lay down and rest. He tells her of fearing death before they were together. He then adds that with her he is no longer afraid because they will be together. He looks at her with such adoration. ❤️ While she slept, he explored the grounds and found the cemetery for the scholars. Ye Li had even made her own memorial tablet. It was heartbreaking to see that she had done all of this by herself.💔😭For the first time in a long while she had some real rest and woke up to find her husband hard at work chopping wood. He already had breakfast ready and bamboo shoots gathered so they hunted for mushrooms together to finish up meal supplies. He made a chair for her that would let her enjoy the moonlight in the courtyard. He mended the bed and windows and helped her copy the books that needed compiling. She showed him the best spot for seeing the moon but it was not a clear night. He chatted with her about scenes changing and needing appreciated no matter what light they were in. There was never nothing to see. The changing light just made different things visible. She teased him for acting like an old man rather than one in his twenties. They were supposed to see the moon and stars not speak on deep subjects. 😝He encouraged her to go to a different place. The bridge where statues of monkeys resided. She was told to not cross the bridge because monkeys had taken over. She would stay safe as long as she did not cross it. Xiu Yao told her no monkeys were there and as she turned back they disappeared from view and she was seeing what really was there. They continued their walk til they came to the cemetery. She looks down and sees her memorial first and then runs to each one. There is a flashback to what happened. The school was united in rejecting Guo Jin’s rule. They would not betray the emperor no matter the cost. It was not meant to be a death pact to defy her rule, but sadly, that’s what the epidemic did for them. The medicine supplies were waning and Ye Li was determined to get help. They were just as determined to believe in their doctor of medicine and that they would pull through. They did not want to cooperate with the new rule in any fashion and locked her up to prevent her from getting help from the guards. When everything was almost lost, she sent QingShuang to get help. But the poor girl was too sick and weak and died a few steps from the shed Ye Li was locked in. She breaks out to find everybody dead. At the palace the pompous Eunuch was telling his tale how they all ran away and only Ye Li was left on the mountain. Fortunately before more lies could be made up or believed the young Emperor comes in with Prince Ding’s assessment of the area. He confirmed that all were dead, but that they had died from a plague several years ago and only Ye Li was left. The Empress dowager sent an officer of the court to investigate. There is sounding signal that they will be coming and Prince Ding set it up for two days later to give Ye Li some time. The scene goes to Suixue Pass where it is far from the desolate scene it once was. The peace the princess had envisioned had come to pass. Spy Feng and his escort arrive and commenting how even painters are making a living. Their conversation is noted by someone. They run into MingXi and ask him what kind of death met Su ZuiDie. Either we are just told she was killed and died miserably, or he is lying through his teeth to not reveal his brother’s part in her rescue. Back to the mountain YeLi is talking about her missions coming down from the mountain. With the Marquis doing all the evil work he was doing, it was clear he had the consent of Empress dowager and something needed done to correct that. She tells him of her 4 dolls Lu Fangchu, Ye family , Marquis MuYuang, and Empress Dowager. We now finally know what happened In Lishan Academy and why. It was the last stand for the old Emperor and their refusal to accept the rebel Guo Jin who gained access to the throne by abusing and suppressing all opposed and choosing to rule by the same means. The empty mountain top has the remnants of the ideals they prized and paid with their lives to uphold. Here the histories were not rewritten to cover betrayal and deceit. But the ramifications for that stand was the loss of the great majority of the best and the brightest. This explains Ye Li’s determined purpose in righting that wrong when she descended the mountain.

ima be the odd one out cause i am so freakin glad this sh*t is over - last week i stopped it at the start cause i have come to detest Zen, he acts like the arrived party - while from the start he is the selfish one that (cause he is the bottom) get's to sit around waiting for Ryo to do all the heavy lifting in this relationship. from the start - or at least when Ryo couldn't hide his feeling she was the only one that came clean & made it clear that what they had wasn't a game or a bet - he was invested & emotionally involved where Zen was concerned & other then offer his body has Zen been as emotionally candid EVER with Ryo?? nope - never. & even in this last ep he chose to get butthurt when Ryo was again the one to reach out - why play act? especially when he saw that Ryo was sick?? couldn't he put his own petty needs aside for a night & take care of Ryo? at least show him that he cared for him even a little??? the act the day after didn't sell me on how he cares - like miss me with that sh*t. so yeah i am over this BL & elated that this is over. yeah there is a special ep but i doubt it's gonna redeem Zen in my eyes - he is unworthy of Ryo & am sure i am gonna fast forward most of the ep like i did this crap finale.

given the preview i am a happy camper - given how the ep ended i was worried how Ko Neung would react, would he need time & run again? cause Ko Song to also run in the opposite direction?!? didn't want that as got more then enough of that in this ep & didn't like it one bit. understood where they were both coming from & even if didn't like it i got that given their age & this being their 1st crush/love & everything else involved it would take time for them to come to terms of how they feel let alone how to deal with the situation. even though saying that the other 2 couples seem to have had smooth sailing - well in Achi & Augar's case, idk how August is gonna react to Tle's confession - i really hope everything is on a positive vibe in the next ep. *************as is i am worried about Ko Song's parents from what little we see of them they not the easy going pair that Ko Neung got - that might bring a lot of heartache for the mains.. already dreading what might come

JingJing gets to Qian Fei’s place and the drinking begins. JingJing notices the higher grade drinks and Qian Fei is shameless recording her cry. She mocks JingJing giving herself a pity party. The two decide to continue the party elsewhere and Lu Ze and Yi Fei show up to help when two guys try to force them to another location. When the assaulters call for help, the two learn it’s not their guys. Yi Fei’s friend shows up with a large crowd and the almost brawl changes to get back to party. LuZe and Yi Fei get the girls to a table and get food into them. Yi Fei joined the friends he forced to show up for him and makes excuse to leave. He is not happy his friend is interested in tough girl.🤣 Jin notices and pays attention to the one YiFei wants to be with. They get the girls home and JingJing and LuZe take over Jian Fei’s room. They come to breakfast to be teased about lip condition.🤣😂 What they are surprised about are the wifey chores Qian Fei calmly accepts from YiFei 🤣 There is a cute scene of Dang Yu and Jun Cheng playing the game and winning. They would have been an adorable pair had this been the way they let the couple interact from the get go. Seems next episode Qian Fei’s dad wants her to add a colleague’s son on WeChat. 🧐

thank f*ck this is over. i was bored out of my mind & when the scene with the older brother wooing Ben came on i lost interest totally. like plz as if he's at fault for not falling for Ben cause Ben fell for him. that b.s. exist only in BL's where it's somehow justified. in real life Singha wouldn't be going after Ben cause he isn't a good friend - why would be a better partner - also what if Singha was never gay? he gotta force himself cause Ben fell for him??? so this BL b.s. writing & the rest of this ep was more of the same - i didn't need the NC scene which i skipped & the only thing i can say is i am so freakin happy this is over cause even when i think this is good somehow it turns into crap - sorry not sorry - this was so bad that even North (my MVP) couldn't save this trainwreck. peace out -

Plot twist after plot twist... and 2026 arrives

Wow, I didn't expect the twist about the brothers! And adding Wen's mother to the mix, Xixiao's father becomes the father of all three of them... in a way? 🤔🙄But Wen's mother boils my blood. To take all the father's money and leave a child to take care of her grandmother? Then to not even send money to pay for anything her child might need, and even now to say that Wen is not understanding her? I want to hear her reasons, really, because I can't imagine any that could justify her actions in this situation. Maybe I could accept it if it was to protect Wen in some way, maybe, but I don't know. Also, whose mother is the grandmother—the father's? 😩🧐Xixiao making that arrow necklace to fit Wen's bow... it's so cute. 🤗 Sadly, he never got to give it to her... yet.But as for the time jump, I can't express much shock because I suspect this wasn't the ultimate one. I believe their story will be covered by showing events in both timelines—events of what happened in the past in 2016 and then what is happening now in 2026, until they finally reach the point where the past is explained. And they will probably do that in parallel. It wouldn't be the first time a story is told that way. 🤨

they don’t know what they’re doing but they do want to do something

’ ’ I’m not crying ，am i ？’ ’ that conversation made me change a lot of my tunes about this episode. i had a lot of problems with counter±intuitive structuring that made the first scene of what feels like the major antagonist mean nothing because it’s just plopped in. it’s also hard to invest myself in setsuna & reiji because it’s a bit shallow. we actually aren’t doing much of anything this episode ，the main focus should be on understanding setsuna but we just dilly±dally running time on a bunch of other stuffs. I’m not referring to anything with the galaxy federal police though because the agi bits & expositories are fun along with that permission request & grant segment. & this is a bummer because setsuna & reiji have a very fascinating relationship to me of the radical optimist meeting somepony who isn’t mean he’s just physically cold from inexperience of intimacy as somepony who feels ’ ’ lesser ’ ’ to humans & he acts to uphold the authority that he is hired to do. he has a lot of fascinating stuff thjey just don’t know how to execute it or get you to care. tgis show also feels incredibly amateur☆ish in direction ？there’s like a lot of genuinely terrible shots that don’t look good & are just awkward.

Qian Fei is surprised YiFei wants the other ticket. It took some bargaining, but he pretended massive interest to get her to go with him. He tries to get closer and the closest he gets is taking photos with comedian for her. She noted that she was not at her best in any of the photos.🤣😂 There is a fun exchange over name meanings. 🤣😂Dang Yu and Ms Jun have a dance off. 😝 Ms Jun is very forward trying to get the most people to her class. Dang Yu more kindly recommends Ms Jun’s class and they end up in same cab leaving studio. Ms Jun wants Dang Yu dropped off first, but that is refused. No need to give the mom another point to find fault with or place to spy on. Again Dang Yu tries to share the love of dance from her hometown, and again, Ms Jun has to imply or flat out say Shanghai is superior.From that YiFei gets a call and pretends he is going out with Jin. Where he’s really headed is Wang’s place. Wang has just chatted with his dad and his mom is in emergency surgery. She learned they had broken up and this resulted in finding a clogged artery that needed immediate attention. He turns this into a a call to accuse and berate Qian Fei for fake concern about his mother. He’s still admonishing her when YiFei tells him to hang up. He is unaware Qian Fei is on the other end of the call. He and Wang get in a fight. Wang was found guilty of doing sneaky things behind YiFei’s back and using Qian Fei as a steppingstone to further his career, two things Yi Fei hates most. He tells Wang to leave Qian Fei alone or a beating the least of his worries. Now that Wang’s mother is recovering after a successful surgery, will he go home battle scarred or make excuse to stay in the city. Lu Ze goes to find JingJing and again he disappoints. He really doesn’t want to talk to her about what went wrong. He tells her he shutdown his company and will not see his product through to launch. This child of his was dumped when grit was required to see it through and support it. JingJing has already seen him devalue her once when things got hard for him. After saying he wouldn’t stick by his dream and sees he wants to be with her, his proposal did feel hollow compared to the first one. She sadly told him that rich or poor didn’t matter, she did not want to marry him. JingJing calls Qian Fei for girl support and Qian Fei tells YiFei their eggplant dinner is cancelled and to not wait up. She told him to have fun with his gf. YiFei is definitely pouty after this and the friends he’s been ghosting are now expected to party it up with him. The more the merrier. This episode showed Mr Liao saying one thing and reacting opposite with his daughter. Wang initially wanted to push a response from the hotel and now changed his tune to do internal fixes and public promotions but to keep public statement neutral. Mr Liao isn’t particularly happy with how his daughter is running things, but does not contradict her directly.YiFei definitely wants Qian Fei to know he’s interested, but he doesn’t tell her directly. She is either truly unaware or choosing to ignore the hints. These two 🤣😂🙄
