Wrapping things up

Everybody finally met up and sorted. The grumpy old man againšŸ˜ it is hard to feel empathy when he is all about attitude before brain with his speech. This resulted in us getting to watch Shen flying over the top of a car rescuing the adult child. This was a very unnecessary device to let us get updates on everybody else. It served to let us watch Qin change flowers and stay by his side at the hospital, but there were so many better ways this together time could have been utilized. They did get around the useless dad and the three siblings will be together however they finally arranged it. Shu and Lian are in a better place and Fei is much better with crowds and communicating. Qin has opted to stay with non-litigation cases so that there will never be a job conflict between her and Shen. Her work in the legal aid office lets her work with people without gimmicks and lets her give back to the community as she chooses. Shen finally wakes up and we head to a retirement ceremony that felt like it lasted longer than Shen and Qin’s dates.šŸ˜šŸ™„ It ended the way it should with the judges and that part was satisfactory. What was a bit annoying was trying to force a romance on us without giving it any real substance. They left hope in the future for them to become an actual couple and Shen made a good choice of staying with family court til he feels he has a more rounded sense of justice. He may never decide to move up but the option was left open. I think if they would have kept Qin and Shen bickering back and forth in how to settle court cases, it would have been a better fit for the drama. The tension would have stayed between them but the focus would have stayed exclusively on the cases. The forced couple issue was more a distraction since they were never allowed to be a couple on screen.

Not The best but Still Good

This BL Thai drama series is the most beautiful drama I've ever watched. The beautiful characters, the phase of the storyline, the chemistry, the intimacy, the jealousy, and the cute moments were worth dying for. And don't forget about the real-life actors having great chemistry, which I think they are really dating. And there are lots of moments of possessiveness, jealousy, and cuteness in real life. I don't know if this was fan service or something, but for this drama, I'll be delusional and think that those moments are real. The real actors' moments are much better than the actual drama.

other then that whole mess with the kidnapping…

other then that whole mess with the kidnapping this was a cute ep - Dindin & Tawan rlike two bunny rabbits they r always on each other, it's kinda hilarious. personally not my cup of tea & i just fast-forward their scenes. with Nabnueng & Sailom i was kinda shocked how fast Sailom was ready to move to the next step in their relationship, just a few eps back he couldn't stand anyone touching him, but now he is ready to go all the way. idk how i feel about that - but i did love seeing Sailom's smile. am happy for the pair & was happier when the unexpected guest was shown the door - ***********************************************Yanin got a pair of balls on her, she really think after rejecting Nabnueng & choosing a job over him, he would be waiting for her to come back? how long was he supposed to wait 1 yr? 10? the audacity. but loved that Nabnueng didn't play games & didn't mince words, he introduced her to his new bf & told her to respect his choice - dude a green flag. ********************************sadly being a green flag, i knew he would also help his sister - the fact both his parents abandoned him, to then continue living together & have another kid - not once in all the time he was alive thinking maybe they should reach out & offer some kind of peace offering cause of what they did in their youth, nope - they just thought of him when their daughter needed something from him. wow i wouldn't be this giving.

Finally the chemistry is chemistrying ><

The female lead's past is slowly being uncovered each time the leads meet, which excites me. Both the leads are somehow destined for the same case. I find this too dramatic, yet here I'm interested. '~'

i really like the mellow vibe of this BL,…

i really like the mellow vibe of this BL, it's like warm coco on a rainy day or a cozy warm bed on a cold night... love Sakutaro's personality, he is very easy going yet there is something very funny about him, he can read the room & is gently leaving his mark on Kuji's life... like water eating away at a rock, with time he will make a place for himself in Kuji's life & heart... (he is the definition of gentle force) something even Kuji is starting to realize. the funny part - he doesn't know how to deal with this, there is a part of him that is scared cause he has already decided he is gonna live like a recluse & not let anyone in. yet there is another part of him that yearns for what Sakutaro is offering. **********************************************************************i am enjoying this slow burn, where they reveal themselves slowly - to each other & to us. the ironic part Kuji who is the one people think of as distant & closed off, is the one opening up & letting us in, while Sakutaro who might come off - an open book is the complete opposite, he has that seren smile on his face & even though he is more talkative then Kuji u don't really know what is going on in his heart. i hope we get to see more of why he has given up on life. *********************************************side notes: the actor playing Tamaki is really good looking & those eyes - wow. but the character - from the 1st ep idk why i got this feeling he has more than familial feelings towards Sakutaro, maybe i am wrong & am reading too much into a few looks. but that's my gut feeling. time will tell - (edited add on: so Tamaki is Sakutaro's nephew not his brother-in-law idk why i though he was older & married to Sakutaro's sister lol)

Finale wasn't bad, but wasn't great

I love love this show overall. But out of the whole thing, eps 39-40 are my least fav. The finale was a bit anti-climatic, rushed, and didn't show their happily ever after life but instead we got a useless 'what if' scene. I'm just glad they at least got a happy ending though.

the acting and costumes are excellent, but…

the acting and costumes are excellent, but the show lacks a meaningful plot. i'm not very interested in solving small, drawn-out mysteries.. the first one was enjoyable, but it went on too long and made it clear that the entire series would follow the same pattern.

Humanityyyyy

So yes this episode is the cliché "we both realized our feelings for each other but have yet to find the time to SAY SO!" I'm not complaining, it's cute and i love the romance between yan yan and the servant girl. The slip around 26 minutes is so funny and I'm sure it wasn't intentional, i love that they kept that in!! Also Sang Qi talking about how her stomach hurts after deputy said the fruit might be rotten LOLLLLL this drama is hilarious. It's literally a rom-com.The ending 🤧🤧 they're feeding us well

Couple cosmetic comments

So idk if it's just this drama but in some scenes you can see their breath!! How cold is it while they're filming inside????!!! Also idk if I mentioned this before but the front top teeth for the ML are too white it's almost distracting lol. Its like they gave him veneers or whitened his teeth... he's still hot but there are some interesting choices made by the production team lol. I loved when Sang Qi started carrying Deputy Chief. She is definitely a funny heroine. WOAHHH AND SANG QI CONFESSED she has feelings for ML aghhhhhhh!!!!Okayyy also why did everyone ruin Lan's banquet lmaoooo the random confession from Yan yan ??? Also the scene at 35 minutes is so masterful ugh chef's kiss~~

So close...

The chemistry is off the charts!!! I definitely don't mind the slow burn. This episode had them almost kiss, omg it was so good i was kicking my feet smiling from ear to ear. These two might be my fav ever. More chemistry than Zhao Lusi and Chen Zheyuan in Hidden Love. Zhuo is totally getting on my nerves. The actor is cute but his character is evil! Idk what they're tryna do...

Solid Beginning

The first ep really is the prologue showing everyone's past. So far we get clear cut who are the protags and who are the baddies and future main casts. If anything, I feel the beginning is too "clean", which hopefully only means there are some surprised plot twists along the way.

Family mediation

Shen managed to create circumstances to make the elderly gentleman talk repeatedly and at length of the care he received from his wife. These tactics allowed for him to see how foolish he was being because of ego and how his wife had always committed to him no matter the circumstances. This resolved things but they did not have a caretaker for their son and he woke up to find parents gone. His travels have found the two missing twins but Qin has no idea who he is and he is a big man with a child’s mind. Mother in law won custody of the twins vicariously through her loser son. They could not even handle a grocery trip without the kids running away. I know Ma in law has the money, but all these Nannie’s and third party caretakers is not a loving mother. It is criminal that she was allotted their guardianship even tho sadly, it was the only logical for the court to decide compared to a single mom with three children and no secured stable income. The missing son and twins went to their secret base at the park and older sis has shown Qin where it is. Now there is a mess with the mom, ex and ex ma in law and none of these people know that the son is Shen’s case. This is a very heartfelt scenario of the fallout with children in divorce cases. There is no good situation once the family unit is not a single home base. It is whatever the law and finances dictate. Qin has opened the possibility of dating with Shen since she has been banned from litigation cases. This means no conflict when he is in high court. Shu is trying to persuade him to consider family court since he is so good at it now. This episode is a good one for case study, but we are not shown what is happening with Shu and spouse or getting resolution with Shen and Qin. Next episode is the last and there were more things to see with the judicial part of story that would have been more pertinent to main character growth than this aside. I do want to see end of the son’s adventure but the court was aware of the son and should have advised them to have a caretaker at the home if case time extended. Hopefully last episode airs tomorrow to wrap this up.

Nice start. Has the potential to be a good kdrama.

OKAY SO THIS IS HOW THE STORY GOES. Haran and chan were long distance dating, and chan was this really gloomy dude, yet haran made his day. And after she suddenly decides to visit chan at his uni called Boston uni, only to go right when there’s a chemical explosion causing LOADS of injuries and this makes haran think that chan’s dead, bear in mind her parents died as well beforehand from a car accident, and now haran feels alone and goes into a deep slumber of depression, now fast forward 7 years, haran is a lead designer at her grandmother’s company, nana atelier, and chan is an animator that was collaborating with haran’s company. The day before the collab team came to introduce themselves to the people they would work with at nana, they had a day to be tourists before locking in for work, which was when chan decided to go to an exhibition only to find haran, but at first he doesn't go up to her, but later chases her after she leaves the place, only to save her by stopping her in her tracks before a building renovation was about to collapse on her. Although she didn't know who called her name, later on creepy photos are sent to her workplace, sc though the person taking them was a stalker and eventually haran makes the link that chan was the stalker EVEN THIUGH HE WAS JUST A POOR INNOCENT MAN WHO WAS FORGOTTEN BY HIS OLD LOVER UGHHH. This lets the episode end with haran asking chan who he really was and how she knew him. MY QUESTION IS HOW DO YOU NOT REMEMBER HIM, LIKE HIS FACE DIDNT CHANGE, HIS VOICE DIDNT CHANGE NOTHING CHANGED, OTHER THAN HIS HAIRCUT AND CLOTHING STYLE. EVEN HIS NAME DIDNT CHANGE SO HOW DO YOU NOT RECOGNISE SOMEONE YOU SAID YOU LOVED?? LIKE I GET THAT YOU THINK HE DIED, BUT ARENT THERE TOO MANY COINCIDENCES??

must say i didn't get what the hell was…

must say i didn't get what the hell was going on in this ep - why Veir come to Kelvin?!? why the act? & other then the lieutenant colonel there were other 2 cops that helped try & kill Veir, but then the same guy came to save Veir - or came fast enough to find him alive. why the half assed clues & not give us the actual scene of what happened & how Veir & Rawit were involved, who else was in on it & did Veir's Dad & Nana know - were they putting on an act for Kelvin? for the cops? if so they didn't keep Kelvin in on the loop, cause he's the nutter that held Veir captive? & this wasn't the only plot that made little sense when watching - this whole ep was filled with WTF was the writer on moments. ********************************************************* also if i was Veir & after EVERYTHING Kelvin did, i wouldn't be coming to end thing amicably & i for sure wouldn't be caring if he is hurt or dying. the fact he is cutting - cry me a river. dude's crazy & knows if he didn't hurt himself he would be finding out where Veir is & wondering how he can get him back in shackles in his dungen - like miss me with the pity party. *****************given the fact Veir rejected Rawit out right - guess we going down the stockholm syndrome route, guess anyone being held captive would be messed in the head. cause Rawit is the healthier catch but u need to be in a good head space to realize this fact. heck the way Rawit kept looking at Veir he should've known he was interested. oh well we knew it was never to be, Veir's loss
