Decent ending

Bro gyeongnam at the start felt weirded about the whole bf on demand thing and felt kinda “cheated” on and it was bare awkward w with mirae at work, and she even got hurt whilst trying to break off a fight between yunsong and byeonghak, so he cleaned her wound for her BUT IT WAS STILL AWKWARD LIKE BRO. But then they become besties again and resolve it since gyeongnam and hwanny were having a convo about it without telling hwanny who “it” specifically was about, just asked it like an if question. (If soyeong’s yeongil looked like you what would u do? Is what he asked so he could get an idea of what hwanny thought on this sort of matter) and hwanny said that it was a win for her ideal man to look like him but he would be better since the ai character would give artificiall love not real love. So that made gyeongnam run to mirae, find her and hug her, and says he still wants to be with mirae, to which mirae agrees. And after they fix up their issues and call it a day e.g about her worrying they might not work out but then gyeongnam admits he’s falling for her day by day. But yeah very coolio. YK DONGMIN WALKED INTO THEM TWO BEING INTIMATE SO MIRAE PUSHED GYEONGNAM OFF HER ONLY FOR HIM TO STUMBLE AND PULL AT A SHELF THAT FALLS ON TOP OF HIM AND BREAKS HIS ARM. DONGMIN GOES WITH MIRAE AND NOTICES HOW INTIMATE THEY SRE CLOCKS THEYRE DATING AND AT THE DIRECTOR’S LEAVING PARTY, ITS REVEALED DONGMIN TOLD THE DIRECTOR (SNAKEEE U BUM DONGMIN) THAT MIRAE AND GYEONGNAM WERE DATING BUT NOBODY BELIEVED THEM SINCE BEFORE THEY HATED THEIR GUTS AND IT MADE ME GIGGLE EVEN MORE.it was an alright kdrama but it was a little too cringy and for me the plot was slight dead was a sprinkle of cliché maybe because it’s a romance and I consider MOST not ALL, MOST romances cliché.

Akira is annoying the f*ck out of me & i KNOW he can't help himself & it isn't easy to get out of an abusive relationship. but he is pissing me off nevertheless. ***************************************************it's like people that want out of a relationship (for whatever reason) but can't seem to find a way, yet start a new relationship - which is built on lies. so am glad Kanata who is falling hard & fast will not get blindsided - even though i am sure he will get hurt even at this stage - but better now then later on ************************************************************************************wont lie there is a part of me that doesn't want Kanata with Akira - i want them to part ways before anything gets started - which not gonna happen cause then no BL. but they need to start on a clean slate - after Akira not only spills the beans about his relationship but he ends that f*cking relationship before starting any new with anyone, let alone Kanata. don't think that's too much to ask

My review for episode 8-9 Veil Of Shadows

the seeds of suffering have begun to sow.. in episode 8 i already shed tears..but halfway through episode 9 the tables are turned.. like yo! we are in the lovey dovey phase 🤭 i am giggling and kicking my feet... and... the clothes lwy is wearing are ls's ownself 🤭 likee omona~~it's also so funny when people around think that lwy is being tortured when in fact she is being pampered 😌... and long shen has started to warm up to lu wuyi especially after he took back jiling's heart/memories, their memories are overlapping...ohhh my my i can't wait for this love hate relationship to play out... quickly give me more lovey dovey scenes before my heart is broken again ☺️and ohhh that word that li jie said to chiwen "Undignified old man" i laughed so hard when watching it 🤣🤣🤣Also zhuyan is mention in episode 9! What an easter egg 😆

gotta start with that kiss, it was beyond sweet, it was dreamy & butterfly inducing i wanted it to keep going & going... the mains have great chemistry & am happy they didn't shy away from the kiss. just a pity it was all in Chu San mind little wonder he looked flustered (cause of the wet dream) & panicked cause of his feelings for Liu Yi (or the kiss). about sure he realized he was attracted to Liu Yi a while back, guess not still could understand his actions & behavior. after the wet dream lol *****************in Liu Yi's case i know he cares for Chu San very much & that's why he kept thinking up ways to get him in his gang & under him. he doesn't know another way of life & as he doesn't have another sister he can offer in marriage, getting Chu San into his gang would be his way of making him family. that's why i was sad for him, cause Chu San breaking the cup that contained Liu Yi's blood was like slapping him in his face & rejecting him. so am glad the woman in Liu Yi's gang told him about Chu San's past (even though i am sure Chu San told him that he had lost his mother cause of gangs & that's why his father is against them) guess there was more to that story - which makes me wonder who Chu San will end up being & will he be connected to someone high up in a gang. as there only 4 ep's left am wondering how they gonna end up together, if they even will. ***********& now with the addition of the 2nd couple - & given everything going on there, can u even call them a couple cause Guang Ming comes off shady as f*ck & have a feeling he approached Jia Hua knowing who he was & having an ulterior motive. that can turn into love, but given Guang Ming behavior, i doubt that's his plan. *******************************************************************4 more eps & not enough time for the plot (romance) to develop, but at an exhilarated pace which could turn into a rush job & a disaster of the last few eps - hope the writer & director know what they r doing.

Date night and housing arrangements

Shu’s colleague offers to watch Fei overnight so the can have a date night. Right when they were finally enjoying themselves Shu answers a work call and date night is ended. Qin sees the injured lady and treats her to a meal. She tries to encourage the woman that Judge Shu won’t let her brothers take advantage. Shu is disappointed her husband is not interested in interview. He didn’t want business trips involved since he was the primary caregiver. The noodle shop gives him flexible hours to be there for Fei whenever needed. This seemed reasonable to me. She is not going to be able to drop a case in court and just leave. I don’t know if she sees that as not wanting another child. Qin foun Mr Casanova preying on another rich lady at the park. She is recording them as evidence. Shen was in the park walking with his family and excuses himself to see what Qin is doing now. He ends up falling for her literally and they pretend they are hiding and intimate while the couple is trying to find Qin. The next day in court she transfers the case to her partner and just gives the video as evidence. Shen found info about the property so offered him what he wanted. But a dog farm by park and sr living with wetlands for ambiance.🤣😂 The guy was backing down but the mom is enamored, so Shen is protecting her as much as he can when she is willing to be duped.

Greedy brothers and a smooth talker 23 yrs younger than his love interest

Gma loaded them up with snacks for the way home. Qin leaves them all for Shen and heads home. She tells her roomie that Shen confessed and she turned it down. There is a conflict of interest with jobs and they both already saw the fallout with Shen’s friends at failed wedding ceremony. Shen’s mom notices all the homemade snacks and asks about them. She is assured they were all farmer’s market items including a bag of candy he would never buy. She isn’t fooled in the least but doesn’t press him. Shen is commiserating with his friend but wants to have a different outcome. His friend did have some new news. Three vacancies are available in the higher criminal court. He thinks the competition will be brutal but that Shen might be good enough to make it through it. This gives Shen something to seriously consider as that is what he originally saw himself doing. One case is a woman who was trying to get her dad to the hospital on her electric bike and had an accident on the way. She ran a red light and her dad died at the scene. It was later determined his death was due to his heart not the accident. She is being drowned in medical and legal fees with her brothers adding on lawsuits of their own. They picked out an insurance policy for their father but expected the sister to pay for premiums. She didn’t get to it and they are wanting the payout an insurance company could provide. They are also wanting 300k lump sum as a wrongful death claim. Judge Shu then informed them the accident wasn’t cause of death. I get frustrated listening to all this garbage they’re spewing with nobody shutting them up. They just let that poor injured woman sit there taking all there verbal abuse and call it a day. 😝 Here I wish Qin would have gone with her. Had she known about the greedy brothers, I would like to think she would have been there defending her. She just did not want the woman indebted even more trying to pay for legal fees she couldn’t afford. The other case has two children upset that a man their age has seduced their mother and after her assets. He is all poetry and love is more important than food for the table etc etc and he is rather obnoxious and the older lady is basking in the attention. His comments about poor people being allowed to have love struck an unexpected chord for Qin. It’s not that she doesn’t want or not believe in love, she just knows there is a practical side to relationships as well. Judge Shu gets a surprise when her friend says she is taking Fei to her home for the day.

The fall of Jiang

At the beginning of episode, Jiang is by his wife’s bedside with little hope left for her treatment. He wanted the doctor to make her death at a date he wanted. With this, I think he believed his wife died. But when he was not concerned with where she was buried or if actually dead, she had every reason to feel deserted and that he was only after her family’s money. PengYu’s mom helped her get into another hospital and found the treatment she needed. Her parents were the founders of Beauty Pearl Society and they were ready to make a concerted effort to avenge their daughter. Mr Yang was the lynchpin for their success. Everything is set up to gather shareholders and investors for their tripartite scam. Jiang is showing how family oriented their company is and the green housing their construction will provide. Ren gives YuCi access behind the scenes and she changes things. Mr Yang’s video of them plotting to steal investors money was made quite plain and in great detail. While they are yelling at him wanting an explanation, his ‘dead’ wife comes on stage in a wheel chair. She enlightens them more about how family oriented he is. The ‘heart’ of Lysen employees show the business transactions of failed companies and an account that goes to his daughter. Mr Yang let Gma Bai know she was on her own dealing with the fallout as he left. Mr Li came with his dismissal papers and signatures of all the board members agreeing for his removal from the company. He is escorted out by the police who have more to discuss with him. Jiang wasn’t expecting his first wife’s resentment. I really think he loved her.But he did not see good people getting a break just because they were good. When he thought she had died, he was willing to make her his first burned bridge. Her memory and family money his first stepping stone. But since she was alive to witness his actions, she plotted revenge on him long before YuCi came on the scene. With him removed, it will be interesting to see how the company reorganizes itself. I am hoping they change it’s name and start something completely new. I have no idea if Gma Bai will try to take YuCi on or not. I am curious how she will be placed with the fallout. She is probably not used to being collateral damage. Tomorrow is last episode and I hope they wrap things up nicely and show us the resolution for all the game pieces.
