KJ2025 Jin was surprised to find his stepbrother involved. So originally it was not him trying to investigate his family via police. As the past crashed into the present, stepmom was also guilty of infidelity and was being blackmailed by her son’s father. In a twist of fate the true blood heir was the one always tagged illegitimate, while the son tagged legitimate was not the heir. As the story unfolds and Jin learns the truth of his stepbrother, he gives the paternity test to Lee and resigns. He then meets his father in some family cabin and demands the truth about his mother. He hid the pills as a child and they were for anxiety not sleeping. His dad is overwrought when he gets this news and is shown collapsed in a chair as Jin leaves. It is made to look like Jin killed his dad. Since he was still searching for the truth, it made no sense for him to do this in spite of how evidence points. His dad had relinquished his bid for mayor and discussed with Choi that eldest boy was not leader material for the company. The stepmother begged for her son but that wasn’t happening from Jin. It is to be determined how things will play out with the brothers, but their fathers caused a lot of grief, one by greed and one by manipulation. He was guilty of believing his wife and not questioning cause of death for his mistress. The stories of the woman he married and the woman he loved is coming to light. Even with another visit to psychiatrist, Jin cannot see who entered the house before his mom’s death. This drama does not fail with twists and unexpected turns that completely flip perception of what really happened, who did what , and when.

A good drama, for me, is one that leaves a lasting impact even if it has plot holes. I didn’t expect to take this drama seriously or to get so emotionally invested in the characters, but both actors portrayed their roles beautifully and convincingly. CXX, in particular, conveyed longing and emotion so well that I could feel it—and I ended up crying with them.

The victim made a last call to Jin’s brother who swears they are mere acquaintances and he has no clue why called. As things progress the story of Jin’s illegitimacy hits and the press is everywhere. He is aware of it but thought old, forgotten news. Mr Lee finds Lee’s recommendation to remove Jin from program. He cautions her about safety being near him. She reminds dad that had Jin not been there to save her, she wouldn’t be there. The kid on team has spent an all nighter and greets the others with his findings. They have ID’d the driver and are now tailing him. Turns out Jin’s stepbrother is the one meeting with him and there’s an injured girl in the trunk. Jin’s past is swirling and he’s recalling playing catch with his brother. Closing scenes indicate infidelity from both parents. We are finally getting to the true story behind Jin’s mother’s death.

estar i get Tul pushing Boss away, but i don't get Thiu pushing Guy away, that is such a cliché & it is pointless as Kenji is aa moron & he doesn't act on logic. he hates Thiu - when he really doesn't have a reason too. at least with the flashback u get why Thiu didn't want to kill him. but Kenji ended up in his position cause of Thiu not cause of Phaibul the big-boss. so why does he have such a grudge against Thiu?!? after Thiu keeping him alive he rose in the ranks & ended up being the bosses other "right hand" equal to Thiu who had seniority over him - Thiu didn't begrudge him the position or the power. so just cause??? *********************** so Thiu still thinking his breaking up with Guy will keep him safe? really?!?? if anything him being in the dark puts him more in danger as Thiu can't hunt Kenji down & also be Guy's bodyguard. *****************************************************************Guy on his part is a bit of an airhead - which is tedious to watch - how he goes around with a brain in that head of his. but this another trope where the bottom is a clueless fragile watering pot. *****************************************************************the fact Whal got dumped now that Guy got dumped is ironic - but at least Whal now realizes his feelings & is gonna act on them. the question is Guy gonna accept him? or has being with Thiu broken him of the habit = crushing on Whal. *******************************************************************************************************************************************************Thiu told the gamer friends he would inform them when he found Guy & he has done everything but contact them, but they just props that r taken out when needed & then forgotten when not. like Guy suddenly contacting them after ghosting them, cause he wanted someone to help clean up Thiu 's restaurant. whack writing.

this isn't Meen & Ping 1st BL together so why does Ping look so uncomfortable in intimate scenes? those kisses??? it's like they r being forced on him. such a turn off - hard to ignore.. ******************************************************************************anyway didn't expect Guy & Thiu to already end up in bed together, they were moving fast especially after Guy mooning over Whal from the sec he disappeared on him, he didn't give Thiu a second thought. but the sec Thiu showed up he forgot all about Whal, guess he didn't want to waste time with Thiu like he did with Whal. was Thiu just a distraction? or knowing Whal would never give him what he truly wanted he is using Thiu as a consolation prize?!? *****************************************************given what Thiu is willing to sacrifice i hope Guy isn't gonna back out when things get tough. *************************************so Boss was a spy - bummer, Tul deserves better.

A solid introduction to the characters with a fast-paced start—something that worked both for and against the episode. Duang’s group had stronger chemistry right from the beginning, while Qin’s group felt a bit awkward, especially in their delivery of the dialogue. Overall, the first episode leaned heavily into comedy.

This episode was a nail biter. Even knowing plot armor well in place it kept your heart going til rescue completed. Lee and Jin held their own well, but there just comes a time when assistance is needed. Prior to these to infiltrating the cult a reporter was already making progress. She was first shield for Lee. Bori thought it was total bs about the drone Jin bragged about. They didn’t even make it down the lane before police escort caught them. I am grateful the kid in the team started shooting at that damn pile. It was an emotional scene as Jin is trying to revive Lee in the tank and sidekick is kicking the hell out of the drawer to find button that will open the floor. Back to the autopsy that almost wasn’t. There is a drive that has all the evidence of fraud and corruption. The police commissioners face was clear and bright over that case of cash. The coroner did not know who to trust so I am pleased she had the foresight to make a copy of the information and to tell the officer she gave it to that she had. He was the one I was wondering about. It was satisfying to see the commissioner sweat watching his benefactor get totaled in tv. I love that Lee got to cuff Borai and that the commissioner was filed out of his office by a squad of guys. The kinder gentler senior is far more helpful but I don’t see the aura of a leader with him.It was a happy reunion at the Lee family residence as they take shots of soju celebrating. To see sidekick and Jin getting along was an interesting sight. The contest is now going to see how long it takes Jin to join the bestie club with Lee.😂🤣Mr Lee is back in uniform and promoted. Jin’s dad even called to check on him. There are baby steps in the right direction for many and justice served in full for the deserving miscreants. This was the most exciting episode for me. I can truthfully say I have been entertained every episode. Kudos to cast and production team for great characters and well choreographed fight scenes.

This episode started of with still more heartbreaking, emotional scenes. Watching Shaoyao say her good-byes to Grandmother was so wrenching. Lu Yu Xiao's performance as Shaoyao has been nothing short of amazing. The episode also included some revenge by the fam against 1st Daughter, who was publicly humiliated and formally booted from the family by Hua Zhi in a dramatic, commanding public proclamation. And finally, finally, Go YanXi is freed from his confinement and, after a stop to visit his scumbag father, finally returns to Hua Zhi. Their reunion is really cool. No over-the top dramatics. No misunderstanding-fueled anger. They simply talk like real human adults! My god, it is so refreshing to see the leads behave like rational adults in a romance-drama!!!!

They are trying to soften up Lee’s senior and it’s not going over that well for me. I found him more real being an ass and a thorn in her side. He is at least keeping the cult case open longer since he rushed it last time. Lee has been suspended for a week but she did at least get to check out the file. Jin found the hidden message where the killed manager requested an autopsy in his suicide note. I am not sure if the wife can be convinced after feeling harassed by Lee. Jin and Lee find themselves embedded in the cult. She comes in as a new interested party and he starts at the top wanting to meet Bori. The leaders know both are there. Lee has done better disguising herself so they are not sure which new one is her, just that she is among them. Jin is underestimated because of his past use of games as his reality. They are probably more interested in his money than him. However, Lee is seen as more of a threat because of her father’s history with the cult. This is creepy turf where young people are dying and leaders are killed when they want to whistleblow on the cult. So far they have one fingerprint, no phones and are about to be found out in a leader’s room. Previews of next episode looks like this is gonna get real serious fast.

It's giving kdrama with strong plot not centered around romance but with unmatched chemistry and meaningfully cute fl-ml moment, basically not just romance scenes everywhere for the sake of the romance plot if u know what i mean

Wow. This episode was just so emotionally intense and sad. It was bad enough watching all the trauma and abuse that Auntie Qin endured and her suicide attempt, the brutality of Song Cheng Zu on 1st Daughter, the resulting insane, sociopathic tantrum that the latter then inflicted on Old Madam - basically driving her own mother to death. This episode was just brutal. And man,, the scene when Hua Zhi crawls onto the bed to lie close with Old Madam Hua in her last minutes. If you weren't crying watching that, then you must be a robot. The performances by both Liu Jia and Zhang Jing Yi in that scene was just so intense. And god, poor Shaoyao - this was like losing her mother all over again.
