Episode 12 feels like a quiet exhale — a fitting and gentle way to close out the drama. We see the Gold Boys on tour, learning how to move forward as a group without Kang Woo-seong. Thanks to his habit of recording everything, they’re able to transform his legacy into music, and it’s genuinely moving to watch them continue together. There’s a sense of freedom and happiness that wasn’t there before.Se-na is an absolute delight in this episode, fully embracing her fangirl side. The moments where she playfully pushes Ra-ik away while battling to get her hands on his merchandise are both hilarious and endearing — especially when he casually offers to get her some and she immediately refuses. It’s funny, soft, and oddly intimate all at once.Their romance feels deeply bonded now, grounded in communication and mutual understanding, and it really shines here. While Ra-ik is on tour, Se-na works on securing a retrial for her father to prove his innocence. I do wish we’d seen more of this storyline, as it’s resolved very quickly, but it still reinforces how far she’s come and what she continues to fight for.Everything is neatly tied up by the end. The ex-girlfriend is arrested and charged, but ultimately placed in a mental institution due to her instability — a resolution that feels more tragic than triumphant. As for the prosecutor, his arc comes full circle. He’s made a name for himself, but chooses to step away from ambition to move somewhere regional and closer to his mother, who’s in a nursing home. It’s a surprisingly tender choice, and a reminder that success doesn’t always mean climbing higher.🌱 Final thought: Idol I ends not by shouting its message, but by letting its characters finally breathe — and that quiet freedom is what makes the ending work.

even though i aint interested in Phat or Bay's romance, i don't get his mother & sister, if they had bad luck in relationship & have decided to stay single - cool their prerogative . BUT that doesn't give either the right to stop or gaslight Phat into staying single, just cause they supposedly care for him & don't want him to suffer a similar fate. he isn't a child, he's a grown ass adult that is mature enough to know what is right & wrong, let alone how he wasn't to live his life & with whom. if he too decided that he wants to be single after dating or cause he's A-sexual, then that's cool - bottom line it's his choice. family doesn't have the right to dictate other family members lives, no matter how well meaning they r. **************************************************& i have to say i don't buy Bay's 180, so he was a player when it came to women ,cause he was really interested in men?!??? really? if anything the sec after he slept with the women he lost interest, that means once the chase was over he was over the woman - why should Phat be different? cause he is a man or cause he is a main?!?? like plz with this writing. *************************************************************************************************************************************************************felt really bad for Hill in this ep, poor guy got PTSD from that confession, now he's reliving that trauma all over again & Junji not really helping, he a passive bystander & give the fact he was wearing the heat monitor he know what Hill's next mission is & is enjoying Hills discomfort. or so it comes off to me. ********************************************************************************btw am wondering who is paying for the date? Hill aint got money & that roof top restaurant aint cheap. so if the company is footing the bill & his confession is a mission - get existed & rooting for a fake relationship feels weird. also how far they gonna take it with these missions? what's gonna be his next one to kiss? f*ck??? & will all that be documented & fan-girled over by the people in the office??? this so freakin weird if u think about what is going on. ******************************************************& i now that both Hill & Junji have caught feelings, but their motivation until now has all be a mission to create a new game & simulation character. idk how i feel about this

BiZhi comes back to visit BeiLu as a child and makes a few improvements. This was thoughtfully done so BeiLu had an uncle’s guidance with a wrong choice and improved appreciation of food made with love. The third wish was teaching BeiLu to swim. This flood of memories let him have an extended goodbye with BiZhi and happy rather than regretful memories of Gma. This was a sweet slice of life where BiZhi could make amends for shortening BeiLu’s time with his parents. It provided some heart mending memories and less sadness for both of them. It ends bittersweet but is healing for both. ❤️

as much as i am enjoying the mains back & forth, i kinda don't like how everyone keeps testing Hill cause Junji is so guarded (cause of past heartache) like i thought Hill's praising Junji, calling him perfect was ridiculous - cause no ones perfect, for sure NOT Junji. & there is this vibe as if Junji is slumming, when he is "looking" Hill's way, as if Hill is beneath him. maybe it's in my head, but until now everyone (including Junji) making Hill work hard at wooing Junji, all under the pretext of the simulation game tasks. not to mention they r monitoring his interactions with Yuka - like WTF. how this ok?!?? i get that "Boss" being the bottom, so of course the "top" gotta work for that booty - but come on, this plain weird. ******************************************especially when Hill is this innocent, nerdy, virgin that can't hurt a fly & i am sure Junji's not only the one with more experience, but given his position in the company - being the Boss! - the power dynamic is off & it feels kinda icky. *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************& if this wasn't enough, we have the 2nd couple - OMG but i knew i would get a rash watching Fluke (Phat) put on the usual act of acting cute & playing hard to get, while acting docile around strangers & b*tchy towards the one that comes to his rescue - why, cause he's Q-bee & anyone wanting him, needs to be demeaned for that 'honey' ---- & i know it isn't the actor, but almost all his roles r along the same lines... the only thing missing is for him to break down in tears, cause he so freakin fragile ugh

WHY ??? WHY ?? Were the writers on strike and gave the command to an undeveloped AI to write the last episode??I genuinely want to know what happened??? i wasted my time for this... SMHDid they just give up on the Drama the last episodes? i mean if you want to go the route of a sad ending, fine! just explain the death and make the FL go through it.Soooo disappointed.... :(

The group had fun on the beach and there is a poignant sharing time between BiZhi and BeiLu. BiZhi is watching over his young friends knowing he is leaving and BeiLou reminisces about his time growing up with Gma. He reflects on how little he appreciated it and noted this was something he would have liked to do better. BiZhi shares but it is more mentor sending his students to carry on without his guidance. BiZhi can even come up with a bday wish but won’t tell BeiLu what it was. BeiLu’s friends aren’t understanding why BiZhi wanted BeiLu to meet him at Yashe. BeiLu already knows the bad news is coming but he braced well for it and wore a brave face. BiZhi thanked him for his help and for sharing his era with him. He pointed out again that was the longest time he had spent in any era. BeiLu heads home but changes his mind and runs back to Yashe. It is already looking worn, weathered and empty. BeiLu reads the letter BiZhi left for him and he learned that a car race for one of the relics resulted in the crash that killed his parents. BiZhi apologized for his part in it. BeiLu gives up the big fancy house and returns to his little apartment. It was too big and too empty. A month later finds him back to work at the vet clinic. The boss is still a putz but BeiLu is back with his friends two and four legged. I would have liked a last get together at the house with BiZhi encouraging them all to stay in his absence rather than listen to whiny boss at the clinic. 😝 We needed him back to rehire BeiLu but a little of him goes a long way for screen time.

So hot ... Can't say I find the male lead overly attractive, but he fits perfectly in this role and makes it come alive. Which is a much better compliment. Love him in these scenes in the episode ... The subway crawl would make anyone salivate. Now I wonder if I can make my husband re-create some of that dominance ... ;) ....

The sweater thing?? I do think she likes him a little but I don't read it as a romantic thing. It's probably more about his position/character. Like, I don't think she want's to be his girlfriend I think she want's to be his ally. I have a lot of sympathy for Eun-soo I think she genuinely wants to do good...in another story her quest for revenge would be the thing to qualify her to be on "the team" but here it just makes her a liability. I get why Si-mok doesn't want her anywhere near the case. At the same time I can't help but to wonder if he had been a better mentor to her whilst she was training under him would she be as reckless now? Food for thought. I'm worried for her though I feel like something bad might happen...

Funny how only in the films, power-hungry politicians realise their faults, admit them honestly, and take a turn for the better. It made me laugh. I was about to feel satisfied, when the bitter truth dawned on me: only in the films does this happen!

i don't how a womanizer suddenly has no problem switching to a man, but lets ignore the logic - unless the writers r telling us Bay been with so many woman he is over it & wants something new... anyway i don't get "Boss" telling Bay to flirt with his bff without giving his bff the heads-up. also it mean's the "Boss" knows that Hill is flirting with him cause of the job - so how this a romance? when does work stop & real life begin?!? the logic is kinda out there - but i guess that's BL world for u.

I am not sure how episode 2 was supposed to be, but I felt kind of lost. I do love where F & K shared the info about the workshop and how this series has impacted their relationship.

another fluffy ep - like that even though it's very lighthearted there moments where real issues r dealt with - like Hill's past trauma almost popping up when Bay wanted him to dance. it was a serious issue & yet the way it was dealt with turned it comical. *******************************************************************************************************************************Junji hot & cold cat is making me second guess if he has already developed an interest in Hill, sometimes i am sure, then others i aint anymore.. but find it kinda hilarious that Hill's job & co-workers r basically helping him woo Junji.
