watching this for my love fujigaya taisuke. & as soon as i heard him udder not wanting to die i knew it was wraps. I’m going to hold judgement until i finish the second part but i just am not invested. tanaka koki’s romance is cute but i don’t really like what they’re doing with yamashita tomohisa’s mother i just can’t invest myself into her plight. i also think the scenes outside of the byakkotai drag on because i can’t really care for them. the green+screen was beautifully done though i thought it was so cute. the camera+work however was not great & the cuts were bad. this is whatever really. i got some adorable taipi moments that’s all i cared about.

Superficially light-hearted, this drama touching on some heavy topics.

Finally watching this series (it's been on my list for a long time). I've got to say that I'm really, really impressed by Zhou Lusi's rendering of the Sun Tou Tou character. Yes, she seems superficially feisty and silly and difficult. And obviously good for a laugh or too. But Tou Tou is actually so clearly very, very complex. There is a deep sadness and tragedy behind the silliness and it surfaces as a sincere practical wisdom at times. Her words of absolution and encouragement to the boys who were so depressed about mis-diagnosing Meng were pretty touching. And her legit talent as a cook surprises all her higher-status peers. And then the episode closes with her honest bewilderment at not understanding the point of bowing in memory of the TCM predecessors, speaking the words: "I don't know them. And they are not your relatives. ... This is so strange." Many would find her behavior disrespectful but she is speaking with sincere bewilderment. Lusi's well-known talent for connecting the emotions of the audience with those of her character is on full display here as, even with an unconventional character like Tou Tou, she still draws us in so she becomes our surrogate in each scene.The layered, complex nature of Tou Tou seems apropos for the show itself. On the surface, this drama seems fairly light weight, cute, funny and not heavy on drama. But it keeps dipping it's toes into some pretty heavy topics such as Meng nearly dying due to an ectopic pregnancy, the risks of mis-diagnosis and social class-distinctions (Tou Tou's poverty up-bringing as an orphan compared to the others - and how that affects one's view of things like ritual and what is/isn't practical). I suspect the show will be bringing most of these topics back up in more depth as the series progresses.

My Episode 7 poem, I hope you all like it, it took me over two hours to write.LiuYi kept avoiding ChuSan for days,thinking silence could bury what happenedthat quiet kiss in the car while he slept.But ChuSan was too clever,he figured it out,so he lied, gently, convincingly,inventing something unrealJandamon Latent Cognitive Disorderhiding behind fake tears,wiping his glasses instead of his eyes,almost ridiculous,yet LiuYi still believed him.So LiuYi tried to change him,to make him stronger,to turn everything into something simple.They started with boxing,but ChuSan gave up quickly,he was never a match.ChuSan just lifted him, held him,and in that moment,their eyes met too long,saying things neither dared to speak.On the stairs,ChuSan watched him,smiling to himself,wanting more than he should.On the rooftop,it got worse.A drink spilled down ChuSan’s shirt,and LiuYi couldn’t stop looking.They were falling for each other,quietly,dangerously.Then everything broke at dinner.A gun pointed at LiuYi’s head.ChuSan wasn’t afraid for himself,only for him.And LiuYi,in front of everyone,took his hand and walked him out.If that wasn’t love,it felt too close to it.Later, in the alley,ChuSan finally spoke.He wasn’t afraid to die,he was afraid LiuYi would.He had already lost his parents to that world,he couldn’t lose LiuYi the same way.He wanted to take him away,to protect him instead.But love turned into something messier.LiuYi gave him a phone,even a gun,as if protection could fix everything.Then jealousy came.He waited,saw someone else too close to ChuSan,and lost control.He punched him,dragged ChuSan away,unable to hide what he felt.Still, he made it worse.He pushed another person toward ChuSan,thinking it would fix him,not realizing it would only hurt himself.Seeing them together,holding hands,it stayed in his mind,turning into anger,then into something weaker.When ChuSan visited him in the hospital,he didn’t comfort him,he only made it hurt more.By the time the new year came,ChuSan invited only LiuYi.LiuYi refused at first,said he had better things to do,but still showed up anyway.Because deep down,he already knew.He had pushed ChuSan away,lied to himself,pretended it meant nothing.But now it was too late to ignore.He missed him.He needed him.And the worst part was,he finally understoodhow much ChuSan meant to himonly after he had alreadystarted losing him.

this ep might as well have been a comedy - it was ridiculous & yet so much fun. Liu Yi being this big bad mobster boss is too naïve for his own good & Chu San for a good-boy collage student is a fox. even though it was a great ep i feel like a lot was shoved in & would've loved if this was a longer BL & this whole scenario took more then a blink of an eye to unfold. *************as much as i was looking forward to the 2nd couple i don't like Guang Ming, dude shady & being a cop that makes him scary as he targeted Chu San cause he saw him with Liu Yi, this means he will go through anyone just to get his target. like i said scary - i just hope this BL doesn't have a sad/depressing ending & that the main couple doesn't leave me heartbroken.

OMG CHAN MET HIS DAD AFTER YEARS

It was Haran’s parent’s death anniversary and Hadam was feeling sad since she couldn’t remember much about her parentssince she was just six years old. This made hayeong sad since she felt as though it was her fault for not noticing how sad hadam was over this. AND haran was taken to chan’s grandmother’s pottery exhibition by chan and haran left to get her flowers for his grandmother with Chan only for chan to find his dad at the exhibition as well, and they had a fight and haran got hurt and since chan noticed he got hurt he felt guilty and stormed off, asking his grandmother to treat her instead. He later came to shim cafe and found haran waiting for him, and they were talking inside and he said sorry and noticed and how he was falling for her even more even though he felt as though he shouldn’t like her. AND THATS WHEN HARAN REASSURED CHAN AND TOLD HIM TO MAKE PEACE WITH HIS FATHER AND IT WAS HER TIME TO BE EXTRA NICE TO HER, ANDDD HE KISSED HERRE FINALLYYY

This episode was very interesting ... At first i was sure that Lucifer would kill Siren but he didnt lol ... So it starts with MinU and Lucifer visiting Siren to find out how to break their blood bond ... Siren tells them what to do and how they can be apart for few hours daily so MinU goes to work without Lucifer following him ...At that time , being alone in the house, Lucifer starts to realise that what Siren told him could be the truth , and that he may be inlove with MinU and become the PERFECT MATCH / COUPLE ... But the best part was at the end where it leaves the viewer with many awesome questions especially when MinU trips and is ready to fall but he is saved by Luciel, Lucifer's little brother and it is hinted that they "may" have fallen inlove at first sight , leaving the viewer anxiously and wondering what will happen in the next episode !!!!

THE REASON WHY CHAN SUDDENLY LEFT WAS THAT THERE WAS AN EXECUTIVE CHANGE AT THE ANIMATION COMPANY CHAN WORKED AT AND ALL PROJECTS WERE ON HOLD AND THE COLLAB BETWEEN CALARTS AND NANA ATELIER WAS ABOUT TO BE CANCELLED UNTIL CHAN FOUGHT HIS WAY THROUGH IT ALL AND GOT THE PROJECT STARTED AGAIN. AND YK hadam and her boyfriend yugyeom broke up since she didn't trust him since a girl named Han Sora was trying to get with him even though he was already together with hadam, and Han Sora saved her name on yugyeom’s phone with a heart, which hadam saw and made her suspicious. And yugyeom was also secretly meeting up with hadam’s grandmother since she had dementia, and he wanted to take care of her, since hadam’s grandmother wanted to tell no one so she wouldn't be a hassle. SO NOW CHAN BACK AND HE’S DEVELOPING FEELINGS FOR HARAN YAYAYAY.

OMG BASICALLY now the whole collab team along with the workers from nana are all at gyeonju for a work trip and they were drinking and chan felt guilty for not telling her everything and just keeping it hidden even though she was expressing everything to him, so he planned to tell her everything but since she was a lightweight drinker she fell asleep, yet once she woke up, she still remembered their conversation when she was drunk and told him that it was okay not to tell her, since he must've hidden it for a reason, OMG OMG CHAN REMEMBERS ANOTHER MEMORY FROM HIS PAST THAT HIS ROOMATE WHO WAS DATING HARAN WAS CHESTING ON HER WITH SOMEBODY ELSE, YET HARAN DIDNT KNOW AND WAS STUCK ON HIS DEATH FOR SO LONG. NOW HIS WORK TEAM WAS STAYING THERE FOR AN EXTRA 10 DAYS TO FILM SOME STUFF SO CHAN TOLD HARAN TO TAKE PHOTOS EVERY DAY OF STUFF THAT MADE HER HAPPY, YET WHEN HE WAS COMING BACK FROM GYEONJU HE WAS GETTING LATE, AND NOW WE FIND OUT FROM MR PARK HE SUDDENLY WENT USA.

1st off where Boston disappear too?!? he got punched by Rome & just left??? weird - & have to say idk why Rome can't quit Raffy, no matter how good he is in the sack he can't stop lusting after Jack & not only that, he is hell bent on breaking up Dean & Jack. as if Jack ever noticed him or would give him the time of day. Rome needs his head checked, like shouldn't he have 1st checked Raffy's hands, seen if he was recording Dean & Arnold?!? given this not the 1st time Raffy gathered sh*t on Dean, i would think he would know better & he likes Dean - so why not stop Raffy??? *****************************************************also liked Pete (in spite of the embezzling, which i suspected in the previous ep when his friend commented on him suddenly funding his B-Day when they usually had to chip in cause he was penniless - had a feeling he took it from the play) & wish Rome would give him a chance. also i don't get why it suddenly mattered to either Rome or Raffy who either slept with, it's not like their were celibate when they met, both where all about the one-night-stands & casual sex with stranger's, suddenly they care who they or the other f*ck?!? really??? plz - whack writing if u ask me ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************i aint mad at Dean, when u get blind drunk & add drugs to the mix u do sh*t u wouldn't if u were sober & he might have genuinely been curious or attracted to Arnold. something he would never act on sober - which he stopped himself before anything happened even before Arnold did. but that was a bad scene to witness as i know it will be misread & poor Dean will get it not just from Jack but also Tua & sadly i think Dean doesn't have a lot of people in his life that r close to him. **************btw idk if i want Arnold to come clean with Tua, as they just friends & nothing really happened - but still it just feels off & Arnold himself feels uneasy with what almost happened - tough situation to be in ugh already know it's gonna get blown out of proportions - guess that's why Boston is MIA, there is more then enough drama without him lol
