City sights

I liked that XiGuang headed to his table for breakfast without feeling awkward. Lin made alternate plans since he found out about her fear of flying. Their phone cover purchases.đŸ€ŁđŸ˜‚ She went back to the visited worksite to take notes on their greenhouse construction details. She wants to look more learned with the home construction team. It was cute how he shared how to geek up before meeting to look smart.đŸ˜‚đŸ€Ł no surprise she took the foodie option. The grins from their servers over the phone case choicesđŸ˜‚đŸ„° I think this is the first time XiGuang wished for more turbulence on the flight. She only got to sample one mystery box. She wants to get braver about traveling and he was so thoughtful in having a fun calming distraction. đŸ„° He had already planned for her to get the snacks and share as gifts with her friends. Her visit to Ping’an temple to change her wishđŸ˜‚đŸ€ŁHim noting her guilty look while she demands complete privacy.đŸ˜‚đŸ€ŁHe fishes to find out if he was part of her wishlist. If he only knew.đŸ˜‚đŸ€ŁThe scene switches to the bank where the worst case scenarios occurred with the company Xu’s colleague wanted them to invest in. Fortunately they missed the investment loss because the supervisor took Xu’s advice of approaching the investment cautiously so no funds were lost. She is both very embarrassed about her referral and relieved that Xu’s counter decision helped her save face. Here was a pleasant surprise. Xu wasn’t an arrogant ass. They actually had a conversation where he treated her like a respected colleague. They have a celebratory dinner that they missed a big loss and his lippy friend embarrasses himself. Xu is actually personable and pleasant. His brother is visiting and finds an old photo. Xu came home very drunk and comments on the picture. He wonders if XiGuang would have shown same concern his brother did for his welfare had they come to Shanghai together. His brother is finally realizing Rong isn’t who his brother was interested in. XiGuang has done all her homework and presents two options for garden construction. Lin’s snacks broke the ice and their was lively discussion amongst the home teams for ideas. Here Lin is showing her potential as a future leader in the company. I really like that Lin guides her but encourages her to come up with her own plans and confidently present her ideas to management. She is maturing into the best version of herself because he is such a positive gentle influence for her. He is building up her confidence and taking care with her since he is aware how toxic her college friends are. She is encouraged to go the BIPV route so that it can become demo site of newer technology for the factory. She is invited to a meeting to be included in financial planning developments. Here she learns her father is not meeting his company financial promises and is not happy. She has a chat with her cousin about why she changed skiing plans and he speculates about her interest in Lin. She asks him about her father’s lack of payment with expansion plans and he assures her it can be handled without effecting wages so not to worry about it. The cousin passes on the location changes to his friends that includes Xu’s brother. Xu’s little brother figures out that XiGuang will probably be along on the trip. 😝 while I actually like the little brother
we don’t need Xu there.

Daring Storytelling

Based on JittiRain’s novel, the plot’s central hook—hiring an artist to be a "representative face"—is so unique. It blurs the lines between professional obligation and forbidden desire in a way that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Series' Heartbeat

The soundtrack is the series' heartbeat. "My Forever," performed by Off and Gun, is a haunting melody that perfectly mirrors the show's themes of longing and rediscovering one’s light after everything has gone dark.

More Than A Love Story

This series is a vital reflection of our generation. It bravely explores the crushing weight of modern ambition, mental health, and the fear of becoming "meaningless" in an AI-driven world, making it much more than just a love story.

Cinematic Painting

Every frame directed by Nuchy Anucha is a cinematic painting. The contrast between Koh’s cold, tech-driven world and Jira’s messy, artistic sanctuary creates a moody, neo-noir atmosphere that is rare for the BL genre.

Gun's Acting Skill

Gun Atthaphan’s portrayal of Jira’s emotional collapse is hauntingly authentic. He captures the heavy, hollow ache of burnout so well that you don't just watch his pain—you feel it in your own chest.

Emotional Impact to Viewers

This show doesn't just tell a story; it makes you breathe the same air as the characters. It captures the "sensory realism" of loneliness and healing so well that it feels deeply personal. It’s the kind of series that settles into your heart and makes you feel less alone in your own struggles.

Dew First BL

Seeing Dew Jirawat step into his first BL project as Pheem is such a revelation. He brings a quiet power and surprising depth to the screen, perfectly balancing the role of the "safe zone" with a character that feels both charming and complex. He is absolutely glowing in this era.
