i don't get why Greg is shocked, maybe…

i don't get why Greg is shocked, maybe i am the jaded one but if my father came out to me after my mother passed, i would know that he was readying the stage to move on & live his life the way he wants. even his telling his son not to send women applicants, to me was an indicator he was looking for a helper that would do more then house chores & he found that - or pushed Tupe into the direction he wanted, with all the hints & info he kept bombarding him with since the sec he got the job.the whole scene where Tupe was sick was a bit over kill IMO & ridiculous - but from the sec he has gotten the job, i don't see him being more then a flower arranger & a sounding board for Rich to constantly bombard him with info about his life, past present & future. dude can talk someone ears off - constant chatter even when they eating he wont stop - him asking Tupe if it was ok was hilarious, could he refuse?!? the power dynamic doesn't allow that -

ok ima be the odd one out, as other r raving about this - but other then being very cheezie, Rich genuinely is the definition of pervy old man. from the sec he saw Tupe he is salivating over him. even if Tupe didn't sell him that sob story he would've gotten the job, cause Rich is very attracted to him. all the over the top exaggerated compliments, the continuous chatter, the TMI & the invading of personal space is screaming pervy old man just waiting to 'cop a feel'. it feels like he is reading the scene, giving Tupe hints that he is gay & interested. ***********************************************************************************************this far from a healthy romance - this kinda gross & i feel bad for anyone who is truly desperate for an income & has to put up with this type of employer - cause the pay is good & they have no other options.

this started off depressing, cause i was wondering why Rich was on the verge of breaking down in tears, yet holding himself back. then i understood why when he spoke with his son & then the hilarity began, when he interviewed all those applicants for the position of 'house help', freakin hilarious i laughed out loud. ********************************************************************personally i aint into the age gap relationship's, but will go with the flow & hope for the best. *************************************side note: i know Rich is supposed to be a widower that lost his wife, but given his mannerisms - sorry but the dude gay - like 110% gay. there no way this dude has ever been with a women, unless she was a beard. just saying -

Great Idea, Poor Execution.

With all the hype around this Kdrama, I feel like I expected too much. I get the lines a cringy, but for some reason I couldn't just stand the writing. Legit started watching in hopes this would be a new favorite. I found myself distracted by the inconsistent scene cuts. The male lead is soooo insufferable which sucks because he's so hot, like boy you could've been way better than whatever you are lmao. The second male lead is so much better but I hoped he and the female lead would have a platonic friendship rather than the unrequited love trope. My disappointment when second male lead revealed he had feelings for her ughhh. Kdramas needs to give platonic male/female friendships more representation. I would be lying if I said I didn't drag myself throughout the first episode. I feel like this Kdrama has so much potential.Aside from all the negative points, I do agree this was funny lighthearted Kdrama. I feel like I would have enjoyed this a lot more if it was my first kdrama. Like I said, the idea was good, but poorly executed. I must say this though, I noticed how the characters communicated! I might be tripping because there might be times where miscommunication was there. I also loved the girls' friendships. It was so cute!! Ost was great as well. Would still recommend this but personally wouldn't rematch it again :(

Sigh... The pettiness of Zuo Qing Ci is getting…

Sigh... The pettiness of Zuo Qing Ci is getting old. Sure, it's "admirable" that he's willing to sacrifice himself to save Su Yun Luo's master. But then he proceeds to continue to act petty about it. The number of times he has passive aggressively thrown "you must be happy that your Master is okay" at her is just childish and spiteful. Is he ever going to actually grow up in this series? Are they going to carry this immature behavior all the way to the end of the series? Maybe I'm grumpy because so many of the c-dramas I've seen lately have leaned heavily into the 'one person is slowly dying of poison and keeps it a secret from the other' trope. Kinda sick of poison as a plot device.Also - why are the 'good guys' keeping both SMQ and Chang Ge in the dark about all the bad things their Master, Jin Xu has done? Why send them back to that corrupt sect? It makes no sense.
