At this point, the writers are really yanking us around to make us not like the ML. Because his behavior is pretty bad and not at all likable at this point. He also doesn't really seem all that 'clever' as he is supposed to be, because he's making decisions that seem emotionally immature and stupid. His goals could have been achieved with better decisions that don't put him at odds with the ones he loves. The path the writers have him on seems stupid, full of self-pity and self-destruction.For that matter, so do the paths that both Zhu Yan and WSY are on. The former just giving in to his base desires for revenge and the latter for some strange reason continuing to NOT tell Shen Man Qing the truth about who killed her parents.At this point in the story, the men are pretty much jerks. I feel terrible for both Shen Man Qing and Su Yun Luo. And to a lesser extent, for Jiang 'er. At least Chang Ge still seems like and upright guy, but why on earth did he go BACK to the stupid, obviously corrupt Zhengyang Sect? He should have just stayed with her at Wuer Fortress.

this was ridiculous all the tearing up, but still ending up in bed together & then Greg getting angry that Tupe wanted to leave, if anything that was a logical move. but hey everything worked out - even though i kinda laugh my head off when Rich popped-up when Tupe was confessing his love to Greg. *****************************************************************************************btw given the fact Rich called Tupe husband, while Greg threw the fact that Tupe'a moans didn't make it seem like he was having a bad time - think both father & son could have a relationship with Tupe. weird? any weirder then what we got in this BL?!? don't think so. ******************************************************************************************************************this morally was just gross & i aint sad that Rich got hurt - he landed back on his feet at the end - btw idk why we needed the "...women r poison sign..." this not f*cked up enough, we needed to add a misogynistic message at the end just to wrap things up?!? which woman would want a part in this mess??? lol pretty sure Rich's wife is thankful she's in a better place

feel like every ep i start the comment with the word 'shock' well i wasn't shocked this ep - it was obvious that the young hot blooded guys would end up in bed. the fact one is the son & the other the lover/bf would be weird, if this whole dynamic wasn't f*cked up from the start. if anything Tupe & Greg hooking up was more natural & logical. *****************************************but them continuing after talking to Rich was a bit yuck. not that i am that invested in Rich & Tupe's romance, doubt Tupe is either - the only reason he is with Rich is cause Rich is his sugardaddy. that's a fact u can't avoid. he is more worried about losing everything Rich can give him - as sorry i don't think for one sec he is in-love with Rich. like i am 99% sure Rich is in lust with Tupe - not love. don't buy that anyone in this is emotionally involved. *********************************************************but the father son relationship is kinda f*cked now that they both literally f*cked the same guy - doubt they that open minded - even though u never know with men - sorry bad joke lol

So, Zuo Qing Ci is overthinking and trying to be too clever or perhaps too fatalistic and spiteful. Why reveal what you know to Jin Xu and force yourself into opposition to Su Xuan (and Su Yun Luo)? That seems like plot-contrived stupidity in order to create unnecessary drama. A better 'scheme' on his part would have been to contrive some sort of straightforward 'rescue' of Chang Ge from the Cold Cave as if he's just a friend rescuing a friend. In fact, that could have been done in coordination with ZQC's existing underworld allies.But with the approach he's taking he will naturally end up at odds with Su Yun Luo, which seems like the sort of contrived dramatic tension that the writers want to create at this point in the story.
