Feeling pretty mixed about this show at this point. On one hand, the overall arc is fine and the actors are all wonderful and doing a good job. But the plot implementation has really leaned into recycled plot tropes of late and has started to feel like a lot of cheap manipulation. Things like, characters misjudging each other and over-reacting based on lack of or wrong information, key people just 'happen' to be late / missing / in a coma when their presence would resolve drama. Stuff like that. It's all gotten a little tired at this point. I'm also really tired of the fact that (a) people keep spitting up cherry juice / blood every time they stub a toe and (b) no one takes one second to wipe their chin. I feel sometimes like I'm watching a cheap vampire flick.

really enjoyed this ep - which was shocking cause until now this was touch & go. still don't understand how Jeong Han's father let him wallow in pity, nursing a drink for what seems like a while. am sure it was more then a week. but will ignore it - what with everything going on. ************************************************************************************************************Jeong In (Il Jo's step-brother) is kinda crazy, if Jeong Han was the same dude he met at his fathers funeral i would get his behavior, but after Jeong Han beat his ass - shouldn't he be more weary of him?!? the fact Jeong Han just called the cops on him & didn't beat him to death is a miracle. dude a moron -

I like how the mystery unfolds. The gradual introduction of characters. Joong and Dunk are good leads. I just wish they had distinct looks to match their personalities. I appreciate that the chemistry between the leads are natural not forced.

This episode had a lot of good plot content, but the editing was awful and made a mess out of the story. There seems to be some missing scenes and transitions were abrupt and weird at times. The final, closing scene, of a refreshingly healthy, adult conversation between ML & FL was almost shocking in that this seemed abnormal for this series which to this point almost always has avoided clear communication between the leads.

Italophilia As usual, JoongDunk chemistry is hot with a flirty Captain Jade and a staid Sarawat Kamin. Their first impression was not the best but they've already redeemed themselves after closing their first case together.

why does wei zhi need a rich man to take care of her? why does she need her father's blessing to be in a relationship? why is no one considering what she wants? she's a capable, accomplished adult. maybe her parents can treat her with these outdated views, but shan chong should be better. and what, he's never thought of the future before? his loving, attentive parents never asked him what he plans to do as he ages? come on now. this breakup is dumb, predictable and pointless. we'll see how the next episode goes, but i might drop this if wei zhi and shan chong don't get back together soon

I loved the acting and story around the character bale. This episode is only flashback but i feel like it is the best flashback in the entire drama. The family scenes feels bland and unrealistic as always. This episode had a lot of suspense.

Much better episode than the last couple. actual plot movement, with some reveals. It's a little weak in explaining why SuSu has to reject TTJ, despite being in love with him still. The writers could have made it more clear to the viewers that she can't be with him while pursuing the Heartless Path. And also pointed out that it's simply dangerous to have him physically near her while she has the evil bone in her - the last piece he would need to complete his transition to the Devil Lord.

IM YourOnlyOne YJS made an error in judgement in the basketball challenge. The rule and tradition was for the Whenever Friend to choose who they will replace during the bonus round, instead what happened —based on the scenes—it was YJS who made the decision.Pyo YeJin volunteered already and tried so call the attention of the Whenever Friend. But YJS stepped-in and insisted he should be the one who should leave and YeJin must continue playing.Why? There was no doubt the Whenever Friends would've chosen Pyo YeJin as well. She was the most logical choice.Did YJS set them up to fail? If so, why? Budget constraints? He got disappointed with the Whenever Friends?Or, was YJS trying to save YeJin's face because she hasn't made a single point?Here's the thing. No one will blame YeJin. That's just a fact of life, we all have strengths and weaknesses. There is nothing wrong if YeJin wasn't able to make a basketball point up to that point, most people can't!If that was YJS's objective, the reverse happened. YeJin probably quietly blamed herself. Audiences who did not see YJS's misjudgment are probably blaming YeJin.I was very disappointed by that incident.The Whenever Host made a decision for himself instead of the Whenever Friend, as per the rule and tradition. (Again, based on the scenes in the final cut, that's what happened.)The Whenever Guests are there to bring more fun and variety, as well as, to show that celebrities are humans too—which many have forgotten—and thus have shortcomings like everyone else. It is fine not to be good in sports and/or in any games.In addition, making the Whenever Friends choose who to replace in a bonus round is an indirect way of saying, "this is your strategy". It's their only chance to be directly involved and increase their chances of taking home the prizes.Remember, Whenever Possible is about the Whenever Friends. It is to give them memories to cherish of having met and interacted with celebrities they otherwise would've never experienced.I hope the kids were compensated for this misjudgment. It was supposed to be fun, bet that misjudgment will instead dominate their memories once they realise it. (Assuming the editing showed us exactly what happened.)
