glad that this time Geum Bok didn't get duped by the agent. was worried there for a sec he would conned again (even though the 1st time it was his grandfather that got conned). still he comes off like the ultimate pushover so happy to see him not falling for the conman or for Ji Gwi's flirting. ***********************************************************************************************still wondering where this is going as i haven't yet seen Geum Bok becomes Bi Hyeong's “spirit lunchbox” i thought it would be like a vampire feeding off his victim's blood - something psychical. so what Geum Bok just needs to be near Bi Hyeong?!? don't get it.

reading the description one would think (or…

reading the description one would think (or i did) that Geum Bok has 3 guys circling him, they all want him & then he will choose one (the main ML). but that aint right, Ji Gwi has feelings for Gil Dal & am sure that the reason he attacked Bi Hyeong was out of jealous, cause of how loyal Gil Dal is to Bi Hyeong & stuck to him. ******************************************************Gil Dal on his part does like Ji Gwi, but cares for Bi Hyeong & cause Ji Gwi hurt Bi Hyeong, he distanced himself from Ji Gwi. maybe cause he was a stone he isn't aware of his own feelings. & Ji Gwi doesn't seem to get this as he is trying to woo Geum Bok in the hopes of hurting or making Gil Dal jealous - haven't figured that out yet. ***********************************************the only one "after" Geum Bok is Bi Hyeong, who cause of his past (master) is scared there will be a repeat to what happened in the past so he is keeping Geum Bok at arms length.

Changhe bets Muyu will defeat in one move. I did smirk as a puddle defeated him and washed him back in the building in front of his superiors. Nice move to humble a swordsman that steals souls as well as lives. Muyu gave the master the option to wield the Dormant Dragon sword by allowing Blood River members to decide for themselves whether to remain or leave. Their negotiation is interrupted by the coffin carrying Mu Ciling. He is promised a cure if he brings the sword back to Mu clan. Master Su had an impressive array of moves, but forfeited much sooner than I expected. He admitted defeat and was taking his clan home. Muyu arrives late to find healer with the sword and one of his men dead. The blow he received pierced his heart and was not repairable. The crazy Mu offered the life of a second man if he yielded the sword. Since Muyu values life, he gave up the sword but returned a message of how he would kill with his own hands the Mu leader no matter where he went or how he disguised himself. Muyu definitely made it a promise not just a threat and while the leader laughed the rest of his clan were more nervous. When Mu Ciling left to find the one with his cure, the Xie clan reminded the Mu clan that having the sword was only part of it. They had to return for it to be official. Uncle Zhe is watching from the sidelines expecting a good fight. The patriarch is met by the water rep of the Soul Reaper three. The reaper expects an easy victory and finds out the patriarch is healed. He slinks off for the time being but I am glade the current patriarch wants them gone and has built a peaceful place for members to retire to. I do not know if Muyu knew he had delivered a fake sword or not but the healer was definitely surprised. The battles are getting more intense and it really is a free for all with the clans. I am waiting to see if Mu Ciling has more to do as he is an interesting character. He was impressed with Muyu’s strength and message and did not try to battle him immediately. I find this interesting too. Changhe sets himself apart making it clear he doesn’t want to leave Blood River when Muyu was bargaining with Dormant Dragon sword. This does reverse the positions these two had earlier as Muyu considered it home and Changhe definitely did not. I wonder how long it will take the Mu’s and Xie’s to figure out the sword is not the only one.

I Like it, But a Couple of Things Let it Down.

The locations and cast are good, but the writing could be better, and I feel like someone was in a hurry filming the little scuffle by the pond. It looked like a first rehearsal, rather than the final product. Siwat had his arms on the ground before Khunkhao grabbed them to pin him. It made me snort my derision, and I’m really good at suspending disbelief and overlooking gaffs, generally. Even my ability to be uncritical failed me. So awkward. Anyway, hopefully it’s an aberration, rather than a sign of things to come. The story, as a whole isn’t a problem…so far, but the dialogue is unnatural, and isn’t directed in a way that can cover up the deficiencies. I’m hoping for improvement as we progress. I’m certainly not put off.

What I way to start a series...

Great / interesting way to start the series, lets hope it stays interesting as it goes on....So far my thoughts on the 1st ep....1. That is not his dad, that is the dream world, that I think maybe the Doctor doing something to him like hypnosis on him making him think he is his father just so he can get answers about the old man, because no father would be that way to his son, plus he just feels off.2. The hospital is real, though I think there is more to there than they have said so far, Win feel a bit knowing I guess would be a way to say it, I'm not sure how to say what I am feeling about him better than that.3. The old man I'm still not sure what is up with him, He wants Alan to remember, but what is the question, also he wants him to come back to him, um, Where is the question, and Who the heck are you is another one... Time will give more and maybe then I will have a better idea on him.

this was a christmas episode bytheway. i don't think i have any complaints. they resolved shuuhei's story in the first half well. every box got checked for him & we had enough time to enjoy the holidays. it's nice to bring back shuuhei for where we are in the arc though as the first bugster patient emu saved as he will be a reminder to emu that he is a hero & there are people he must save. they also did a great job with the christmas theme ,it was really nicely done. it holds weight in a season about video games ,doctors & human connection. kiriya's demise i felt was proper. we did get to connect with him early ,i also am satisfied with how much emu bonded with him. it wasn't incredibly detailed but i think it was developed enough & emu is the type of person where his reaction does make sense. i do fear how the grievance period is going to be & i can't imagine it will have its depth. sdomethin g i really like is the pixelation of kiriya's death. it's squares but the inside is hollow. i think thayt's a really beautiful touch.

Boring cliches one after another, nothing original in the plot based solely on lies and avoidable misunderstandings.Ji Bo Za won a tournament for a city that dearly needed the "blessed rain". Ming Yi's city had a luxury of reaping the rain's benefits for 7 years. No wonder JBZ cursed MY to stop her from taking it back. Ming Yi's story started with lies. She participated in every tournament under the guise of a man. Then, instead of confronting Ji like a true and honorable warrior, she continued with more lies. A lying, conniving FL does not appeal to me.I also think the cast is far from perfect for this drama. Hou Ming Hao looks much more delicate than Lu Yu Xiao. I bet she can pick him up and manhandle him just as easily. There is no chemistry between the characters no matter how many time HMH carries LYX around or touches her skin. This is a far cry from Fangs of Fortune. I am very disappointed, but I am going to continue watching and hope the drama will improve at some point.
