Too bad metal hairpins are not back in style and, even if they were, probably will get confiscated by TSA when boarding a plane. So many cool uses: (1) stab the guy you love to show him you're done with him, (2) have him sort of clean it and put it back in your hair as a sign of his commitment and loyalty, (3) you keep wearing it because you can't forget him after all.

Where past memories meet present desires, love's true test begins.
Watching What Comes After Love feels like a blend of Korean drama and anime, enhanced by the use of Japanese language, which adds a unique touch. While the story alternates between the past and present, I appreciate the hints of tension between the main characters and the intriguing cliffhanger that keeps me engaged. Melodrama serves as a perfect escape for me—whether I need to slow down or unwind, I’m looking forward to seeing if this series can evoke the emotions I crave.READ MY FULL REVIEW: https://diyarisks.blogspot.com/2024/10/what-comes-after-love-2024-episode-2.html
Love, longing, and the journey to rediscovery—will the past lead to a new beginning?
I'm typically not a fan of melodrama because it often bores me, but What Comes After Love intrigued me enough to reconsider. While the first episode had its dull moments, the ending sparked my curiosity and made me eager for the next episode. If the series can maintain this momentum and deliver a satisfying story, I might just become a fan of the genre.
I'm glad Liu Mian Tang has her memory back; she is brilliant. And the actress who plays her is pretty impressive. I haven't seen her in anything else. The back and forth between the ML and FL really feels like watching a chess game, but one that he heartache written all over it. And my guess about ZiYu was on point - only based on that one glance on his abandoned home. Guess it's revenge time.
this episode was so heart warming instead of having a big fight and end up breaking up like some of the thi shows do they talk there issues out Big one of the main actors i never seen him play the role so emotional before i did not expect the awesome cry he did he showed another skill of his acting which i have never seen before and i have followed him for some time he is doing way better in this series them Omg vampire Atd the other main actor i have not been able to see his acting all to much but he is really good this pairing is really good and cant wait to see them in the next series Headliner the one in charge of the actors here in this drama please have them in another drama again. also the producer Ernie he did so well in this series shows his directing power and showing the difference between different type of personality that can be together no matter what personality they have love this series
This show doesn’t warrant my lengthy recaps anymore – there’s just not enough happening. This episode had two focuses (how could there be more, as there are just two potential couples, and nothing else of importance going on). Rain rejects Love’s love confession, first of all to protect herself from further heartbreak (as all her previous relationship have been disasters, and all the men/women exploited and cheated on her), and secondly because she thinks she doesn’t deserve any love. Love returns home, unsure how to proceed that rejection, but her mother tells her to give it some time; Rain needs to realize that Love is not like her former lovers, and Love’s “ambush approach” is more likely to scare her off than to entice her. So, she takes a step back; lets Rain alone for a few days – and all Rain can think about is Love and her care for her. Eventually, she books a short vacation – and inadvertently select Love’s next place of work where she does some advertisement photography. Love quickly falls back into her “all-out assault” strategy, until the owner of the resort suggests that she should show her that she is serious. So, she changes her style, clothing and approach to resemble work-mode Rain more – but she hilariously fails at drinking wine. Later she confesses that she just wanted to show Rain that she can be serious; and she can wait a little longer for Rain to realize that, having waited for seven years already. This clearly has an effect on Rain; Love takes her on a tour through the area to take some photos, but mostly takes photos of Rain. Finally, Love kisses Rain cautiously and Rain doesn’t immediately recoil. But their moment is interrupted by sudden rain. Meanwhile, Pat finds Deane in her tattoo studio sick; and she selflessly cares for and doesn’t leave her side till she gets better. Deane doesn’t dislike this, in fact, once she’s recovered, she seduces Pat and they sleep together. But the next day, Pat encounters Deane with the former colleague of Rain who booked the appointment directly with Deane. Deane claims she and Pat just had sex, nothing more. After the girl leaves, Pat asks Deane if it’s fun toying with her emotions, but Deane remains unaffected – unlike Pat, who’s left crying over this.(I’ve seen no significant difference between the cut and the Gagaoolala version, apart from a “commercial” where Love and Deane praised the toast sponsor of the show.)And that’s it. As opposed to all other GLs there’s just not enough going on. This episode clearly had an A and B storyline A being Love and Rain, which was good, because the two of them are the far more interesting pairing. I think Love is well on her way of winning Rain’s heart, without changing herself all that much For Pat/Deane, I’m not sure they _should_ even be together. If Dean doesn’t change her ways, they shouldn’t, maybe her ex next week will show her that she is hurting Pat, perhaps by doing the same to her?
just watch it on we tv !! uncut is free there (im writing mainly abt 1st main lead kay ..)
earth slayed as usal with his acting and facial expressions( and was effortlessly pretty ,and beautiful) Pond...! he was more than i expected !his acting was on point ! pondearth chemistry is top-notch fr !! cant wait till next week !!!great job wabisabi !!!!!!!!!
Great story, poor acting. The story would have made headlines if a great cast complemented it. Couple plot holes. I couldn't finish it even when I tried to watch it when I had nothing else to watch.
Wow, I’m really impressed with the production quality of the series; the storyline seems concise but comprehensive and the subtitles makes it easier for us inter-fans to follow along. Best yet is the acting across the board; the actors seem so molded to the story... It's amazing! I love the interaction between Bas & Earth… (ghostship anyone) Tae & Maya are so cute in their roles! Mix, Oat, and Ton round the cast so well. I found my must watch series for 2024! Great job Wabi!
Love how the main cast is introduced.Fun watching and seeing how thecouples will be matched up. Greatcast. Acting was on point. It is setat school but off the campus scenes really nice. Felt like college.
