Finally on Disney+ for me to watch! Gorgeous visual and a nice beginning with an animation to give a background story. Epic beginning with a hooded figure with bold red lips chasing a demon. Lots of characters are introduced. Our leading lady Wu Zhen a playful haughty socialite who happens to be a cat demon who is in charge of keeping order in the demon market. So we got her solving an ongoing murder that involves a demon. Our leading man a Taoist who is cold and detached of worldly matters trying to find out what happened 18 years ago to his parents.“Once you make a mistake and make an exception, you’ll do it again. Just like how once you’ve broken the rules for the first time, there will always be a second.”“There won’t be a next time”With her face. Who wouldn’t break the rules for her.Ending with that scene and him covering the sub for her. She got him wrapped in her fingers already.

I hope her brother grows up quickly otherwise he is going to cause all sorts of trouble. its like having an unruly man child. nothing more annoying.

Just checking to see if this is the sort of drama i can watch. just finished LOFG and wanted to see what Chen Lei's character is like in this drama. I have to say this is so different from LOFG and interesting, i may give this drama a try. It is way outside my comfort zone.

Celestia- HOD At the so called Family Meal, Fan Xian was served another test, he will be setting off for Beiqi in a few days. While Lin Ruofu did warn him to not promise the Emperor anything, but what could he do, the Emperor said that he would cancel the marriage contract with Wan'er. It was hilarious when Third Division was showing Fan Xian all their poisonous equipments, and even testing them out on real people🤣. Finally Fei Jie arrived. So happy to see him back. He really didn't wanted FX to go to Beiqi since it was more like sending him off to death. He intended to help him escape the city, but Chen Pingping was already on his door, and firmly rejected his idea, told him to stay sane and let him go, Fei Jie is already guilty about what happened with CPP's legs, he blames himself for Chen Pingping's legs. And I cried when he told CPP that FX has to stay alive, after he dies someone has to bury him, and he couldn't think of anyone but Fan Xian. And that moment was heart touching, when CPP was telling him to be understanding, that he'll protect FX. The second prince is weird, he doesn't care much about others. This was the trap that Li Yunrui actually left for Fan Xian. If he completes the Beiqi mission, then this time upon returning the capital, he'll get the Power.

Aybond Great episode really enjoyed the fighting scenes and the collaboration between the main leads to defeat the enemy

Later on, Jin’an unwittingly helps her strategize and win a battle against his own fellow countrymen, the Yao State.
