This was boring.

Overall this Kdrama was so boring to me. Not only did I feel like the FL and ML lacked chemistry but the plot felt like they were stretching out the main idea. I feel like this drama would've worked better as a 10-12 episode show in comparison to the 16 episodes that it is. I want to talk about the main couple. I had so much hope for these actors because I genuinely think they are very talented but the over reactions felt disingenuous to who their characters are and really took me out of the drama. I am a lover of cheesy dramatic love like Park Hyung Sik typically does but it was too much in this drama. I really didn't love the dynamic where they are fully dependent on each other for their mental health and would've liked to see more growth between both characters that I feel like overall this Kdrama lacked. The plot really annoyed me I wish it wasn't wrapped up so quickly but I really hated how Min Gyeong Min's character was dealt with. I would've liked to have seen Yeo Jeong U dealing with more of the trauma from Min Gyeong Min with MGM. They did do a lot of things well especially with the mental health focus. However I would've loved to see maybe less push for medication as one of the only ways to deal with mental health because that doesn't work for alot of people. I think that could've made an interesting plot point with one of the characters. I found it especially difficult to get through the last 6 episodes of this drama overall and was looking forward to finishing it in a negative way.

Fun and Happy

scene awal episode kali ini tidak menggugah selera sampai aku tidak mau menontonnya, namun setelah itu ceritanya ternyata menarik. Walaupun punya vibes lama "earthmix" namun cerita mengenai pengenalan orang tua di episode kali ini sangat menyenangkan. Keluarga Mo sangat dinamis, terutama ayahnya yang membuat konflik pada episode kali ini menjadi terangkat. Resolusinya sangat bagus dan menyenangkan, namun porsi untuk scene pak boss dan ten sangat sedikit. Alurnya mudah difahami dengan dialog ringan yang sederhana, latar tempatnya sangat dinamis membuatnya tidak membosankan, vibes episode kali ini menurutku baru dari episode sebelumnya, beberapa scene menurutku terasa agak cringe. Dari segi warna episode kali ini punya dia jenis (terlalu flat dan terlalu tersaturasi) tidak ada yang spesial untuk itu. Saya akan melanjutkan series ini.

what an insecure, petty little man. here the Queen is always putting him before herself, even jumping in front of him when there is danger. she used her family, endangering their safety to put him on the throne & his 1st move, after finally achieving his goal is to humiliate her not once, but twice by again taking a maidservant that serves her closely. *********************************idk what she can do to get back at him, without endangering herself/her position. but i know that he will go for her family 1st, as they - her power. she is a very smart woman & i can't wait to see how she asserts dominance, not just over her b*tch of a husband, but over the rest of the court. **********************************************************************************************************************************************Yeong Sil seems like a pushover that won't cause too much trouble (even though with Gyoha Daek Yeong Sil's relative) u never know. but Chae Ryeong is conniving & am 90% sure she knew exactly what she was doing & got what she wanted. so she will be one that will do anything to dethrone the Queen. ********************************************************************************************************************************************this a really good 1st ep - already hooked. wont say i didn't miss a lot of the ascensions and abdications let alone all the other additional info that was getting pushed, when i was trying to focus on the dialogue. but the main plot was clear, the rest will come with time & reading the comment section lol
