Largely revisiting well-trodden paths - a filler episode
An extralong episode starts at Yoreum’s hotel room, where she and Itsuki are dining. Itsuki is still depressed due to Fuyu breaking up with her. Included in this dinner scene was a flashback to highschool, where Yoreum fought for Itsuki and assaulted those spreading (correct) rumors about her, because she was not liking any of the boys. Back in the here and now, Itsuki still thinks of Yoreum as her older sister, whereas Yoreum wants to be her lover. The night gets longer and longer, and once Yoreum puts alcohol on the table, one can guess where this will lead. The following morning Itsuki wakes up naked in bed next to Yoreum, who remarks “That was fun, wasn’t it?”Meanwhile Fuyu is at the closed café and learns what her mother had been doing, and that Itsuki didn’t want to stay at here home (but not why). Itsuki still can’t believe she slept with Yoreum, and I’m skeptical, too, despite Yoreum’s claims to the contrary. Later Itsuki and Fuyu are both called to “Digital Dreams”, where their former colleagues cannot get approval for their new character of the game. The only option they have left is using the photos she made of Fuyu and Itsuki earlier as blueprints for the characters, because those photos created interest with the manga author. But they apparently need some more photos – that’s why they have called Itsuki and Fuyu. Considering the current state of affairs between the two, they help by posing once again in costumes for photos – but that photoshoot is awkward. The talk they have after the photoshoot isn’t much better. They clearly both want to be together, but Fuyu’s mom stands (and perhaps also Yoreum) stands firmly between the two. Upon return to her hotel room, Tsuji and Kou wait for Fuyu, he has lost his job opportunity at the zoo, but he is more worried about her still-wife and Itsuki. Fuyu said she is ready to give up the love of her life, but her husband does not want to let her sacrifice her happiness; he has decided to proceed with the divorce no matter what. This apparently propels Fuyu to talk to mother again. She says she want to be with Itsuki and eventually marry her (not in Japan, of course, same-sex marriage is not a thing there), and Kou and Tsuki support her decision. Mother accuses her of ruining not only her and father, but also her own family – but she is ready to cut her ties with the Lin family, severing her ties with her parents. Her mother urges her to rethink this and instead be a normal family, but the necklace she’s wearing gives her strength to withstand her mother this time – she will decide what is normal for herself. Meanwhile, Itsuki has returned to Yoreum is a moping by the pool. Yoreum beckon her to join the fun in the pool, but Itsuki can’t stand it anymore – she confesses she’s in love with Fuyu, and runs way. She packs a few things from her apartment and is about to leave for somewhere what she gets a phone call from Fuyu who wants to see her. Over the closing credits, they run towards each other only to find each other at a cross-walk; where they once again confess their love for each other; Fuyu also says she has talked with her mother, and no one will stop them from being together ever again. Can I have that in writing? 😊 The episode ends on Fuyu and Itsuki kissing, and Yoreum claiming she will not give up. Well, we could have had that result last episode. It remains to be seen if Fuyu’s mother really give up that easily, and what Yoreum does next. She has an Ace up her sleeve – she can use the drunk sex she and Itsuki had (or did they?) to her advantage. I’m glad that Fuyu finally discovered her backbone, but found that episode to be largely filler. That Yoreum was a good girl in her younger years doesn’t change the fact that she is trying to hurt Itsuki for selfish reasons now.
Love the way the backstory of theMls is coming out. Mls doa great job.The storyline is unfolding. The support cast verygood. Greatvisuals. Lovepace andtone.

Okay let me write a better one and then be done with this show lol, I will be done with it in the morning bc I AM TIRED LOL. 9.5/10 Okay bye!
Honestly, I should perhaps start to watch this series at x2 speed, because so little happens in an episode. We got the continuation of the vacation “date” between Love and Rain, where Rain finally admitted that she had fun on the trip. Love asks her to be girlfriends, yet Rain is still a little hesitant. But Love makes it clear that she is all in with her – she always has been – and wants a relationship. Then she kisses her, and the makeout turns into petting (only for streaming watchers) – until Love’s camera falls off the bed. But Rain agrees to be girlfriends after this; she is clearly smitten with this “kid” as she calls her. After some bubble tea and toast sponsoring, it is time to return to Bangkok. The owner of the vacation house bids them farewell as they drive to on Love’s motorcycle – and the calls Bowie, Love’s friend, and tells her Love and Rain left together. At the tattoo studio, Pat is at her post as Deane’s friend from Rain’s company appears. The two will probably not become friends anymore; after she delivers some Soy milk for Deane she’s off to work. Shortly thereafter, Love appears and notices the tension between Deane and Pat, but doesn’t get to ask much, because then, a girl named Mai enters the room – and Deane’s attitude completely changes. Mai calls her babe and asks whether they can talk. While they are off-camera, Love informs Par that Mai is Deane’s ex, who broke up with here on their 10th anniversary, as a three-minute flashback shows us. Pat is worried that she doesn’t have a chance with Deane against this long-term relationship. Pat gets further bad news, as her father has gone on a vacation with his new family (remember, her parents are divorced) leaving alone for two weeks. Love says she’ll be there for her, only to abandon her as she is requested by her girlfriend. The next day, Pat makes a brave face with Deane in light of the new old competition; then we get another flashback scene showing happier times between Deane and Mai. Finally, we learn that the next day, it’s Deane’s birthday, Deane and Pat invite Love and Rain to a party at the tattoo studio. The telephone call reveals to the watchers that Rain and Love are spending the day together, sharing some more sponsored toast. The next day, they arrive together holding hands at the party, admitting to Deane and Pat that they are dating, But of course, more guests show up – first it’s Rains former co-worker (who is actually named Botan), brings a present – and the news that that her other colleague Fern Is getting married, to Rain’s ex Arm. Rain doesn’t seem that bothered, though. Then, of course Mai joins the party, surprising Deane as they had an appointment for the next day – but it’s Deane’s birthday (and their anniversary) after all, so how couldn’t she make an appearance. They are off talking again, and Pat prepares the birthday cake; Botan leaves however, as she sees no chance with Deane now that Mai is back. As Deane returns, Pat brings the birthday cake combined with a question – she asks if she could be the girl by her side. This is awkward, as Mai is still there. Deane doesn’t answer Pat and instead offers Mai some cake leading Pat to storm off apparently having no chance with her. Love asks if she and Mai are back together – which Deane denies, then scold her for treating Pat horribly. The last part is just a five-minute flashback of Pat's history of abandonment. And that was episode 5. For me, there was at max 25 minutes of actual story in there padded by lengthy scenes if which essentially nothing happened, and the flashbacks which told us nothing new of importance. At this point the show comes dangerously close to its predecessor “Lucky My Love”; the only part worthwhile is the story of Love and Rain, and even that one is padded as hell.
It is worth mentioning the perfect setting, photography and acting showing the early years and the basis of AnilPin's relationship from childhood best friends to lovers. Showing how deeper is their love, connection showinf off the uniquess of their bond.
Beautiful last episode. The actingwas on pointand the lovebetween thetwo wasdepicted with sincerity. Loved howfamily issues areaddressed. It had a goodbalance ofdrama andlight moments.
The episode starts where the where ended – but I have read the novel by now till page 180 (of 599) which presented those “dreams” way earlier in the narrative. Wa thinks they are glimpses of “past” timelines that got reversed (by someone else). In the show, we so far have no explanation for them.Upon awaking, Wa asks Vivi if she has ever have visions of her own future, and Vivi dispels Wa’s worries by claiming she did, showing her some drawings of it. Then, Vivi's 16th birthday comes up – and Vivi want to go to a fan meeting for Johnny Kim. The tickets are expensive, but Vivi says she got it covered by her drawing job, she just needs her permission. This conversation is interrupted by Four picking up Wav or a date. Both Wa and Four invite Vivi to join them; it turns out that they are going to a shopping mall. This is an unusual experience for Wa and Vivi being poor, they stop at a clothing store that caught Vivi’s interest. Four ends up buying some clothes for them, which embarrasses Wa. They spend the rest of the day visiting the arcade and taking snapshots in a photo booth. Upon their return, Four reveals that she overheard the previous fan meeting ticket discussion – and bought the ticket as a birthday gift for her. Now, Wa has no choice but to give Vivi permission to go. Then, Four invites Wa to her grandmother’s on Saturday – she says she probably won’t remember her afterwards, but wants to present to her her “special one” anyway. We fast-forward to Saturday, which is also the day of the fan meeting. Wa has this nagging feeling that something will go wrong but lets Vivi go anyway. Then, she has to get ready herself – and Four does her makeup, which almost turns into sex again. But Four get interrupted by a phone call an has to do an errand for college quickly, leaving a severly flustered Jattawa. 😊Later, they arrive at Four’s Grandma’s house. She is friendly and seems lucid at first, but is stuck in the past, recalling an old dispute between Four and his father like it was yesterday. Then, her stepmother and stepbrother appear – Four thought they wouldn’t be here as well. This is going to be an awkward family dinner. Grandma urges Four to learn the ropes as the future head of the family company, but her stepmom say the next CEO will be her own son Film (which Grandma can’t seem to remember). Four insinuates that he is not his father’s son, that Wa claims that the Grandma has evidence to that effect. Stepmom reaction to that suggests that she herself already found and destroyed the DNA test results, so Wa reverses this part of the conversation, but tells Four of her suspicions afterwards. Four promises to find another way to prove that Film in not her father’s son – but her stepmom is eavesdropping on this conversation. Then, Jattawa has so go pick up her present for Vivi – a Johnny Kim photobook from the store. She leaves Four to stay with her Grandma. Meanwhile, Vivi and her friend have collected the meet-and-greet ticket badges; another visitor wants to get such a badge as well, but he only has a standard ticket and is thus refused. He eyes the girls with obvious envy and will surely cause a problem soon. Meanwhile, Jattawa has returned home having picked up the present. She sees her sister’s sketchbook lying around and takes a quick glance – and soon realizes that there are no sketches that show Vivi past this date. She remembers her “dream”, and runs to the fan meeting, quickly telling Four where she’s gone. Vivi, at the meeting, gets a vision of someone assaulting her in the dark. Just as Jattawa arrives, she is assaulted by the guy from earlier who’s strangling her trying to get her VIP ticket. Before Wa can interfere, Four assaults the would-be robber with a swift kick, thus diffusing the situation. Wa is furious that Vivi didn’t tell her she didn’t see her future past this day, but Vivi say she knows that her sister will always have her back, and that she can aways reverse time to hep her. Wa relents and just gives her a hug. Vivi then get another vision, or her unpacking the present – making it her first vision of her future past that date, Wa is relieved. At this point I knew exactly how this would turn out – Vivi would get assaulted again, probably at home, propably before she turns 16 (as the present is already at home) and this time, the reversal for the day would either already used up, or ten minutes would not be enough. But first, Wa and Four “resume” their date by eating Thai BBQ under the stars, with some playful banter that causes Wa to quickly panic, earning her the nickname “little bunny” in the process. 😊 Meanwhile, Vivi and her friend had a great time at the fan meeting – but she can’t sleep over at her friend’s as previously planned; the mother will instead drop her off at the condo. So, she’ll be at home tonight, after all… Wa and Four are also on their way home, Vivi has already arrived and looks at her present. She hears a noise and thinks her sister is back home, but the apartment is dark. Vivi looks around – and get assaulted just as it looked is her vision. Just as Jattawa and Four park the car, the assaulter can be seen leaving though the parking lot, so when Wa comes to her door, a bloody puddle can be seen outside. Wa quickly opens the door, but Vivi is lying on the ground stabbed to death – just as the clock turns midnidght. Wa reverses time to the maximum of ten minutes, and let Four drop her off in front of the building saving some time. As she reaches their hallway, there is no puddle of blood outside – but Vivi inside is just as dead as before. A devastated Jattawa cradles her dead sister and wants to go back in time again but can’t, just as Four arrives on the scene. As I’ve seen the pilot for the show, I know that there must be some way to reverse this death. From said pilot, the main question’s remaining are:1. How will Wa (or someone else) get to reverse time?2. Why does Vivi always seem to die if Wa and Four get together?3. Who wanted to kill Vivi, anyway?Apart from that there’s also the inheritance issue for Four to solve – and there’s only two episodes left. I’ll be watching. 😊
The episode starts with the morning after, as Jattawa awakes in her bed next to a sleeping Four. Jattawa seems happy – her first time apparently went well. As Four starts to wake up she pretends to be asleep, Four quickly gets up collects her clothes and leaves the room. Wa gets up soon thereafter and make breakfast for her and her disappeared “friend” as Vivi returns to collect a few things for school – and to nonchalantly let her sister know that she saw in a vision that Four und Wa had sex last night. Wa is embarrassed, while Four next door apparently isn’t sure what happened last night cause she was so drunk. Later, Wa still wonders how she should react to Four when Khun and Top meet up with her and ask her out for lunch, they go to the cafeteria, but Wa is not really hungry, she is looking for Four. Meanhile, Khun want to take her with him this evening (to something having to do with the contest they’re both signed up for). But she declines the offer and leaves for the restroom – where she runs into Four who thanks her for taking her home last night; she claims she was so drunk she doesn’t remember anything. Wa invites her to the contest, but Four just acknowledges the invite. At home, Wa is preparing a magician’s routine for the contest, but keeps wondering why Four reacts so coldly, as she seemed pretty lucid last night; she is wondering if she did anything wrong or if Four didn’t like their sexy time. Her routine includes one use of her time-freeze ability – that seems like a waste for a function which can be used only once per day.The next day, Wa asks Khun and Top how she should react to Four’s apparent coldness after sex – without naming the participant, of course, but I’m pretty sure at least Khun knows who she is talking about. They both tell her not to bother with her anymore. The day of the contest is there, and Wa shows up in her unusal uniform (“I’m not winning anyway”) , leading Khun to get her a proper dress. While Wa is changing, Khun once again tells her he likes her – but this time, Wa doesn’t reverse this confession, but rather tells him that she wants them to be friends – nothing less, but also not more. He asks her if that is because she has feelings for Four, and she admits it. He then confesses to discouraging Four earlier by claiming Wa was interested in him; but Wa forgives him saying anyone can make mistakes. As he goes on stage, Wa keeps wondering why Four hasn’t talked to her about that. Then Jattawa peforms her routine but uses her time-freeze moment to look for Four in the audience. In the end, she blows the last part of the routine – a disappearing act – intentionally. Then, the audience gives out roses for their favorite act, and Wa doesn’t get any – until Four shows up, having seen the show after after all. She says she did not like the performance, but rather the performer. ❤After the show they, go home together with Wa explaining that Khun came clean and that he was lying to Four when he told her Wa was interested in him. Four admin that she was getting drunk because of the and that she really likes Wa. But Wa remains cautious, because she knows Four is interested in another person, namely the one she gave her messaging id to – but unbeknownst to her that also Wa, as the moon lamp she gave her recently is the one that carries the ID. Four comes clean that she wanted to give her the ID since they first met; she just didn’t know what to do with these feelings. But everything else she did – from providing a place to stay to gifting her the moon lamp - was all because she was attracted to her, in fact she admits to having dirty dreams about her. As they encounter shooting stars in the sky, Four asks Wa to be her girlfriend. Wa accepts by signing her name with her finger onto Four’s hand; they start making out again. As they return to their floor hand in hand, Four remarks that the CCTV is broken in this hallway so they can continue to make out. I wonder if that was more for benefit of us watchers to let us now the camera doesn’t work? The next day, Wa wakes up; whose bed is that. It looks different from both her own and Four’s, though at the side there’s the moon lamp – and a picture of Wa and Four?!? The living room looks also unfamiliar, and on the balcony there’s Four saying “I'm so sorry that I'm the reason Vivi's gone.” As Wan is saying what we all think: “What?”, we get the final shot of the episode, Vivi lying on the floor somewhere, apparently having been stabbed to death. That was a rollercoaster (accelerating while rolling down) of an episode – so much has happened. The show made clear that all previous problems between Four and Wa were thoroughly removed (from the previous issues of the show, there only remains the legal battle between Four and her family) – before hitting us out of left field with the final scene. I honestly don’t know what to make of the scene, was that a dream sequence, a flash forward, and where exactly did that scene between Four and Wa happen? Obviously, Four did at best indirectly cause Vivi’s death – I think the writers left this part intentionally vague so that we (at least those who like myself have not read the book) can fuzz over it all week and tune in again next Tuesday. Mission accomplished, I’d say!
