Non is a nice guys finish last kind of guy so he’s nice to people but deep down he is an asshole and like a manipulator and I think that’s a great role that we need. Great acting. Non it’s fucking with Pete to make him seem like the crazy bitch around his friends. Everyone in Pete’s life does him besides Kao. I would lose my shit like that if I was around that kind of people as well (which I am lol). Non just wants to fuck around and find out I would punch his ass in the face. Suddenly, I’m Pete bro. Fuck, dude. What we hate about other people is what we hate about ourselves. I’m having this problem with Pete right now because I’m sitting there and his friends are just calling him an asshole because he’s literally in the right and he’s just speaking his truth and that’s what I hate about him, that he’s an asshole, but I see myself in him, problematic. Also, Non and Pete are the same. They’re both troubled and want to prove themselves. Just non-is doing it correctly and Pete is not. Mork fucked that up no auto-tune needed. First kiss core. Like blows his fuse gets mad. I think he is like this because of all this hatred he has experienced in this nasty world, and that is so valid. I feel bad for Rain, bro. Yeah, Mork likes Sun. Kao is always so standoffish with Non, I think that's his name because he doesn't like him and that's one hundred percent valid. Pei Wen Xuan deserved better!

Just finished this drama and it lowkey felt like a chore to finish it. The story was a bit boring yet interesting enough to finish it. I found there to be very little chemistry between the two leads, but their acting was good enough and I felt the respect they had for each other as actors. Li Rong was such a selfish person with big trust issues (understandable). Her character was so annoying and she did not deserve Pei Wen Xuan's love!! He was way too good for her. PWX loved her way more than she did. I do appreciate that they had good communication in certain scenes and cleared up some misunderstandings. And like many other's already talked about, Su Rong Qing had too much screen time. He was pretty much the ML in this drama and the whole story felt like it revolved around him.I loved the other supporting characters like Qin Zhen Zhen, Shangguan Ya and Su Rong Hua. And the actress of Consort Rou played the heck out of her role! She was a very convincing psycho! LOLWhat bugged me was in Episode 35 where they switched Prince Su after he passed away with someone who was basically the same person. That was ridiculous. But then suddenly everyone knew he was imposter? They just knew!! There was no big reveal so it was underwhelming. And nobody really mourned for Prince Su except the Princess Hua. Consort Rou was so fixated on power, she mourned for like a few minutes and then boom - back to being power hungry.Also, goodness gracious SRQ was basically half of Ep 40 with his dramatic antics. And near the end 3 years into the future, where the heck was Li Rong and Pei Wen Xuan's kid?! I do enjoy a good political drama, but this one dragged on. This shouldn't have been 40 episodes long. 30 episodes would have been fine. I do believe this is worth a watch if you like the leads. Who knows, you might enjoy it more than me!

Ending yang baik!

Episode kali ini selain memberikan kejelasan yang benar mengenai akhir semua karakter di series ini, juga memberikan "sedikit" penjelasan mengenai "sifat manusia" seperti introvert dan ekstrovert secara bijaksana. selain itu, episode kali ini juga punya life meaning yang bagus, terutama tentang diew dan orang tuanya. Saya sangat menyukai ending series ini karena memang benar dikemas secara pas, dan tidak berlebihan. Dari segi warna biasa saja sih ya, dari segi dialog mudah difahami, alurnya luar biasa bagus. Ada beberapa scene dewasa yang menurutku terlalu panjang, dan hmmm... mungkin agak berlebihan jika ditampilkan di series seperti ini, namun tidak apa ; ini sudah cukup baik. Episode kali ini benar-benar menyampaikan simpulan dari kisah di series ini, luar biasa. Terima kasih atas karyanya, memukau!

A weak beginning with no hook

Temporarily dropped this because the first 15 minutes were so boring, disorienting, & does not make sense. To put it simply, there was no "hook" that keep me invested in the story. I guess I had high hope because The Untamed has high rating and being recommended everywhere. Then what happened?After watching the first 15 minutes of episode 1, I decided to drop the series because, frankly, nothing kept me there. Honestly, I wasn't even sure if I would ever pick this up again.I often see someone wrote about a story writing that's "all over the place". I didn't really know what it meant before, but now I do. This is a good example of that.After binge-watching 3 other asian dramas and a few non-asian shows, I sat down one afternoon and just played this on a whim as an "ambient show" in the background while I did something else. That was how I finished this episode.

Okay, wait I might watch another episode. Also, peak the show finding someone to hinder our main couple so they can drag this out and not just end the first episode with them dating. Yay! I guess? I don’t know lol. I'm lowkey addicted to whatever couple Gawin is in lol. I'm addicted. Disappointment core. People like Pete would get on my nerves so fast. Just being around people like that is genuinely so annoying let alone being in a relationship with them so good on Kao. Fuck thinking about it is making me angry. I guess love who you want? Someone has to deal with them. Well, at least they had a good reason for it rain or wind or whatever his name is should hang out with Pete with his anger management issues. This is a pick-your-own-battles thing and Pete would not understand it because he’s rich so of course he’s gonna get mad, but Kao has to pick his battle for this and tutor the guy even though Pete does not like him because he’s broke, which is real.
