I thought they would only show funny and cute things, but they are artists who want to show themselves a little more natural, I am intrigued by the next chapters, they made me love them a little more.
I loved seeing them both relaxing after so much work, they are so fun and natural. I couldn't believe they showed what Jimin really went through, I loved it.
In this episode, Plaeng realizes she’s in love with Wan – but a) she doesn’t realize Wan loves her, too, even if that so obvious; and the b) she actively tries to sabotage her relationship with Wan by getting Ek into the picture. She screens Ek to find out if he’s suitable for Wan, and finds a few red flags (especially his problems with his parents), but agrees to get them together anyway. ☹ Shouldn’t she first inquire whether Wan wants to date Ek? Because so far she hasn’t given the slightest indication that the even likes the guy. Then, she tries to sabotage her relationship with Wan by distancing herself from her and pushing Ek onto her. Wan surely didn’t expect this, and the reacts disappointed and angry. But she respects Pleng’s – stupid – decision and distances herself as well. So Wan has no friend left and walks mopey through the school. This is the first time she hears about her father’s problems at work, from fellow students who talk about it without noticing her. Well, perhaps she should google the matter if it is public knowledge at school (I know some pupil head about it through an uncle or father, but they must have gotten the info from somewhere as well). We know that Pleng know how to google that she googled relationship advice earlier. 😊 She tries to confront her dad about it, but he brushes it off, saying he already found a solution. And as Pleng hasn’t watched the pilot for the show, she believes him. The next day, Pleng tries to orchestrate a date between Ek and Wan. She tags along with her and Wan’s mother, so that she seems busy and gets Wan to buy guitar strings for her – which Wan agrees to without hesitation. This should tell you something… Sidebar: Wan’s mother doesn’t know of Wan’s plans to study medicine. Interesting; she has no confidence in Wan whatsoever. Pleng doesn’t want to end up at her father’s company – but somehow, I don’t think this is going to be a problem…Wan meanwhile buys the guitar strings, and runs into Ek. She immediately smells the setup, and tries to call Pleng – who is spying of them from outside the store. 🤦Before I forget it: Wan never picks up Ek’s calls – this should tell you something, Ek…Pleng and Wan fight; Wan rightfully scolds Pleng for pushing Ek onto her when she isn’t even interested, and accuses Pleng of acting annoying. Pleng’s response to that something along the lines of “You’ll soon come running back to me” - this stinks of entitlement, and Wan responds that she hates her. This gets to Pleng, she’s sitting in the bathtub crying and – tries to end her life by drowning herself?!?! Wan rushes to save her, as Pleng’s mother is having a heart attack or something like that. Well, perhaps it wasn't a full-blown s*icie attempt, but it should be cause for concern. And that the end of this episode. This time I actually watched the “next week” bit – because I’m not sure I could stand another episode full of this passive-aggressive bulsh*t. But things are seeming to get better between Wan and Pleng next week. After the credits, they even show that Wan didn’t ignore Pleng at school after all, as it looked like before, and she heard the rumors about Wut (Pleng’s dad). Come on! About half of the episode, I wanted to push Pleng is front of a bus for her idiotic behavior, actively preventing not only her own happiness but also Wan’s, all out of denial and misguided plans for Wan which the doesn't discuss with her. I’m pretty sure that Wan loves Pleng as well, but she needs to spell it out for Pleng, and Pleng needs to stop her ill-advised meddling.
It must of been in the back of Yi Joo's mind that Jung Hye, EVIL MOTHER, couldn't have been that evil. However, realizing that Jung Hye attempted to kill her 2 times was a reality destroyer. To also realize the extent of it was crazy. Not to mention my over plotting in the last episode was 100% right! Dang I'm good. ^_-This episode kept it coming. The battles. The constant jockeying for position. This is a battle between Yi Joo and Jung Hye is serious business. It's intense and I'm here for it! I'm very proud of Grandfather Han Woon Jae! Not to mention that Kim Jae Won must truly be on Yi Joo's side. I feel like there's a reveal there. Or should be. Now can I have a moment of awe and appreciation for Kim Jae Won. The man is fine and I feel like he's going to be getting ML in another drama soon. That end of the episode walk in was life. Things are really coming to a head. With this much plotting a drama can easily lose itself. I'm so happy that the pacing has been perfect and the writers don't forget to give us little perfect moments with Yi Joo and Do Guk. I'm so happy with this drama. And now I'm super curious what came first. Perfect Marriage Revenge or Marry My Husband. Just because I've enjoyed both so much.
The only thing i don't get is why everyone is against Lee Eun-hyeok (the guy with the glasses)? He is the smart one there for now and idk i don't get it why. I've said it before - i hate characters who think they own and deserve everything. Also i was confused who was the bad guy- the guy with the stiches or the gangster. I'm glad the gangster is not the bad guy he seems decent. I can't wait to see where the story goes.
I don't think I've ever been so hooked on a series after just one episode. The acting is amazing, the cinematography is great and the story is so compelling. This definitely has the potential to become one of the best BLs. Praying gmmtv doesn't f*ck this one up lol
This episode was a bit more sluggish for me. Simply because there's a lot to cover, but I thought Yi Joo got to cocky. Which seemed odd because the baddies got in some good punches. I'm happy that she seems to accept that she's falling in love with Do Guk. Though I can't believe she doesn't believe that he loves her, but I guess I can. Everyone who should have loved her unconditionally has betrayed her. But even she can't deny being able to eat Do Guk cooking with complete faith and trust. The evil mom did get the upper hand where Yi Joo was trying to gain control of the company it's odd that Kim Jae Won [Jung Hye's secretary] is still firmly on her side. I thought Jae Won would go straight to evil mom or at least be pretending to help Yi Joo. Then surprise betray her. Either way this episode had a lot to unpack. I also think the chef has a bigger connection than all this. I'm wondering if I missed out on who Yi Joo's real mom is. I feel like it's gonna be the cook. However, I wonder if the cook is just the woman who supposedly died in the fire and that the EVIL MOTHER had a hand in that and was gunning for Yi Joo's dad from the get go. Imagine all of this as one gaint scheme are something. Though I think I'm going way too far. Just me seeing a huge big plot cause I like it crazy like that. To the EVIL MOTHER. Well played. Though poor Yoo Ra is just a silly little fool. Her plans backfired fast! I have to give props to Se Hyeok for stepping up. Though sadly only when he realized that Yoo Ra used and betrayed him, not to mention she showed him her true colors but he still had to see that nail in the coffin. I think Yoo Ra burned herself good.
This episodewas a winner! It had aninterestingstoryline and theacting wason point. Omh and Lenglook goodtogether. Ithas a good vibe and makes me wantto see more!Great start!
