There was no way tantai Jin forgot who she was in that bore life right? He might had mercy for her bcs she was Ye Xiwu's sister. Well the times had comes for a bump or three in their relationship. From the beginning he was not convinced that Ye Xiwu/Li Susu likes him earnestly. Her actions and the way she looks at him accusingly didn't help either. She should've known better tbh. He wasn't that cruel, just only to those who deserve his wrath. Didn't he protect her before this? It really looks like she was ready to believe the worst of him. She wld regret the things she said to him. Bingchang really betray Prince Lin damn. This is just going to be like a bit similar to sangjiu-mingye story isn't it? It just this time bingchang will cling to TTJ for his power. Wasn't bingchang had that extra thread thing so... I think somehow that influence TTJ to soften toward her. Strong follow up after episode 1. That said, I hope they will not fall into pattern of cases mirroring her own situation, that can get boring and repetitive - higher profile cases of people with strong passion and talent in their field who need to reevaluate their goals and adjust to the new situation while not giving up on their dreams. I honestly would not to see more mundane patient, or a case where the patient does not get better - the more harsh reality. What episode 2 does well though is giving us a little bit more info about the past and the larger picture. We can see many people around Miyabi are connected to her and her accident, but we don't really know how. I'm engaged and interested - it's a win for the show. What's more to appreciate? Little details. I mean, looking at ML you see he is depressed, but I like the whole "chewing to stimulate serotonin" and "drinking matcha to get vitamin C" deal too. Tiny moments that add to it. Side note, I really hope the shit she is drinking every night with dinner ain't beer, coz this ain't helping her brain.

Sksksks the crow that had to carry those gifts to Li Susu, poor thing. Tantai Jin that was so sweet. I love these sweet moments so bad but the upcoming battles aren't far from my mind either. I mean, gurl you expect him to love you but ofc he wld the expect the same from you especially given his background. I understand her reservation tho coz this was the guy who killed her father. For now, Li Susu treating this making him fall for her just as a task was not fair to him. TTJ at the battle reminds me of Dongfang Qingcang you know, like dfqc was powerful bcs of his rare power but it needs him to hv no emotions or feelings to hv it. While for TTJ, his power requires him to get it from the demonic elixir also bcs he was born with cold nature.
