Awwww, a time travel romance done so right
Short and sweet - I loved this show.I looked forward to every episode, and they gave us the best, sweetest ending without a last-ditch plot drama, as most shows do. Smiling so big for Phop and Nakun and how the show was sewn up with all the little mushy moments.
And Nakun's mom!! Loved this detail.

This was so ‘noooona’ good!
Oh, they really did save the best for last.I’m still swooning from all my cells.
I didn’t know we needed an introverted naughty boy, but Soonrok was perfect for Yumi.
I’m thrilled they ended the show the way they did, and our girl got the right happily ever after.
Every season has been an enjoyable hoot, with serious emotions and heartfelt moments, but this season will own my heart.
Visuals.
Acting.
Plot.
Secondary cast.
Animation.
Everything was incredible. No notes!
I will miss those crazy, dramatic cells so much!
(Naughty cell will be my bestie for life! lol)

It pains me to rate a Miles Wei show so low!
I cut my Chinese drama teeth on Miles Wei dramas and completely fell in love with the kind of characters he played. So stoic and businesslike. So, to not be 10/10 in love with this show, I feel like sulking in the corner.
The male lead was such a gentle soul, a green flag, though he got up to some lying and trickery; at his heart was a deep-rooted love for his school crush. I'm a fan, so of course, he stole every scene with his yearning eyes.
If I could base my rating solely on the acting of both the leads and the secondary cast, I would definitely give them 10! I had zero complaints about the acting. They did the best job with a subpar script.
But was it the writers' first day on the job? They dragged this plot so much that I almost lost the will to live at certain points.
Some parts were so enjoyable. I appreciated how gentle and show-growing it was, but other parts were just so left field, like they'd forgotten where they were supposed to take the story.
How gorgeous was the female lead’s apartment? The aesthetic was so warm and cozy.
It was my first time watching anything from this actress, and I loved her calm, sweet demeanor. I will definitely watch more from her in the future.

I'll remember it for the beautiful aesthetics.
I’m going to bullet-point my review of the notes I took while I watched.I’ll preface it by saying this is my opinion only – there’s no need for fangirls to comment and disagree, okay? Okay! Lol. I’m so happy if you loved it.
I wanted to like it more than I did, but after watching several of Esther’s shows, I have the same complaint about all of them.
• So, right off the bat – male lead (for me… my opinion only) outshone female lead. His acting was sublime; his intensity was super engaging in every scene, especially in the action or crying moments.
• The male lead was a yearner, very affectionate, and I was here for it! I also loved those long coats he wore. Costumes can make or break a scene.
• Speaking of clothes – the female lead wore a different outfit in EVERY SCENE! The clothing budget must have been astronomical. And she only brought a regular-sized suitcase with her. Where did she fit all those clothes? Lol.
• Sorry, but I can’t stand the baby voice. Or the “cutesy” acting, which I now know is a trait Esther uses in her acting. And to give her her due, when she was in those serious scenes toward the end of the show, I thought she was incredibly good, so she can do it.
• I’ll use my inside voice when I say I think the second female lead would have done a better job as lead.
• Oof. Of course, there is a dominant mom – but the turnaround was actually well done. I don’t usually buy into last-minute redemption.
• The location's aesthetic was gorgeous – it made every scene pop.
• My favorite part of the show was how both leads bettered themselves throughout the time apart.
I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it as much as I hoped to.

Great 2026 watch
Short review= well done comedy, very few boring moments, character driven, great chemistry and story development. Really recommended, give it a go!Lengthy version:
—PLOT—
It pretty much has everything one can ask for, including my niche favourite micro plots such as the rain scene.
I am so glad they kept the mafia thing low-key and therefore not over the top, action/stuns packed which, let’s be honest, risked making it a cringe show.
It pretty much still remains the centre of Thee’s life, but as a starting point for him to desire and try to be his own person and create his own path, which made it all much more interesting and mature.
The soap opera personality of Thee absolutely stole the show. Loved how they did not force it to be just a chaotic comedy BL, but added different layers of the characters, their backstories and their development.
I laughed a lot, but unexpectedly also shed quite a lot of tears. Every time Peach got teary-eyed so did I (mostly on episode 6 and 7). Phuwin’s acting was nice but not mind-blowing, so I don’t really know why that happened. I guess I just really enjoyed how genuine Peach and Thee’s connection felt.
I do want to say though that the last episode was a bit disappointing, clearly the weaker one out of the whole series, but still it did not hinder my enjoyment that much.
—CHARACTERS—
Overall all well written, I was not expecting it at all. I kinda went in blind, so I also was not aware of the secondary couples, which I ended up not minding at all.
1. Aran and Tawan
Having previously watched “Love you teacher” I'm positively surprised by the actors’ versatility, seeing them portray a somewhat toxic couple dynamic.
In particular, Santa’s acting stuck with me, especially the constant changes in expression reflecting Aran’s complicated feelings for Tawan, his love and worry and then the immediate fear and disappointment (referencing episode 8). All of which were done seamlessly mirroring his great understanding of the character.
I don’t necessarily agree on, nor was expecting their ending to be like that, but still I guess it is in a way an opportunity for both to grow and all.
2. Mok and Rome
Haven’t seen any of their projects before this, but honesty I really enjoyed Est’s performance as Mok. His yearning, maturity and especially (mild spoiler) the short scene in which he got emotional talking about Rome’s family and future. The teary look had me impressed.
3. Last but not least, Thee and Peach
Pond and Phuwin did a good job in my opinion portraying their characters. Thee I’d say is my favourite character without a doubt, funniest character ever, but still very in touch with his emotions and self-aware. I overall Liked Peach being a soft-spoken, kindhearted and rational character.
At first, I did think Peach talked to Thee as if he was a child, but I guess that can be interpreted as the whole point of the start of their relationship, with Peach not taking Thee’s goofy personality and attention seriously.
I really enjoyed the development and subtle "found family" nuance of the story. The dynamic of peach realising he could really rely on Thee to take care of him and his sister was so heart-warming to see. Also Thee making both feel like children in a way, giving them the opportunity to be taken care of as they never truly were able to growing up having only each other.

Worth it for the great actors!
Two of my favorite actors, but I felt like the affection was so awkward. I don’t know if it was because of their height difference and Rowoon had to kind of hunch over Jo Boah.I was still fixed to the storyline, though. Past lovers are always a good plotline in my opinion.
Mostly because I was flabbergasted the MMC would have a girlfriend for soooo many episodes, right up until ep 11! I know this differed from an actual cheating trope because he didn’t have feelings for the girl, but she got on my last nerve, always interfering and just being there! Like one conversation, dude and she would have been rid of. The MMC was super passive throughout, especially with his father.
I liked the second male lead, but even he had his moments of just getting in the way. It’s lazy plot bunnies and this story didn't need that many cliffhangers.
(Notable mention to the work colleagues' sideline relationship! So cute.)
Overall, I enjoyed it, would watch it again, and would recommend it.
If only to see the bloody hand which was oddly erotic lol.

Even a Loser Can Fight
Viral Hit follows a high school student named Shimura Kota, who is constantly bullied at school while also dealing with the fact that his mother is hospitalized. Desperate to improve his situation, he ends up getting involved in online fight videos, which completely changes his life.
One of the strongest aspects of the series is the fight scenes. They are entertaining, well choreographed, and keep the story exciting. The action is probably the highlight of the show and makes each episode easy to watch.
However, I feel that the character development could have been much better. Many of the characters are interesting, but their backstories are not explored enough. In particular, I wanted to learn more about the pink-haired girl, who seemed important to the story but did not receive enough screen time or explanation. Expanding on the backgrounds and motivations of the supporting characters would have made the series more emotional and engaging.
Another issue is the length of the show. At only six episodes, the story feels rushed at times. I think the final episode could have been extended to around 75 minutes, allowing the writers to develop the characters further, answer more questions, and give certain storylines a more satisfying conclusion. There were several moments that felt like they needed more time to breathe.Overall, Viral Hit is a highly enjoyable series with exciting fight scenes, likable characters, and an interesting story about bullying, online fame, and personal growth. While I would have liked more character development and a longer final episode, the show kept me entertained from beginning to end. Even without reading the original webtoon, I had a great time watching it and would definitely recommend it to fans of action and coming-of-age dramas.
Rating: 9/10

An Ode to Wang Kai Mu
O Wang Kai Mu, you aloof little thing, With suspicion in your eyes and tension in your jaw, You arrived in our feeds without warning, without ring, And committed against our hearts a romantic outlaw.
You do not smile. You barely speak. You stand in your suit like the suit was your idea. You make eye contact only once a week And somehow that single glance is the entire panacea.
Your silence is louder than other men's love letters. Your one raised eyebrow could fund a small war. You treat affection like fine-print fetters And we, the audience, keep crawling back for more.
I would scale a building. I would commit a crime. I would lie to a court of law about my whereabouts. I would abandon my morals in record time If you so much as looked at me with one of those pouts.
O cold one, O brooding one, O architect of want, You ruined me in episode three with a look across a room. You are emotionally unavailable in the most romantic font And I will be screenshotting your face from here until my doom.

I came for the popularity and I stayed for the yearner!
Contract marriage is some of my catnip favorite trope in romance, so I was all over this show, excited!I take notes while I watch my shows, for if ever I want to go back and re-watch, so I’ll just bullet point my views.
• The MMC was so flipping dreamy. I want that exact character in another drama! He was a YEARNER!
• FMC was so chaotically disastrous. Every scene was another calamity. It’s a personal pet peeve, so won’t bother most. The show would have absolutely been rated 10 if not for this.
• Acting from the entire cast was so good.
• The grandfather was so dramatic – adored him lol.
• Oh, that second couple. They almost overtook the first couple.
• The theme song was a great earworm. It’s now part of my playlist.
I know this is considered one of the best older shows, and so, still being new to watching Korean shows, I had to put this one on my to watch list – and I have zero regrets!

A Drama That Turned Food Reactions Into Pure Comedy
I've been waiting for this drama for a month, and I finally finished it last week. I absolutely loved it and gave it a 10/10.This drama is incredibly funny. The way everyone reacted to Kang Seong-jae's food was so over the top and ridiculous, and that's exactly what made me laugh. While watching, I kept thinking, "What kind of drama am I watching? Why is it so hilarious?" 😂 Their exaggerated reactions made the comedy even better.
I also loved the friendship between Kang Seong-jae, Dong Hyeon, Ha Kyung, and his teammates in the military. Their chemistry was one of my favorite parts of the drama.
Can you believe this drama even went as far as creating a song for a K-pop idol group and having them perform on Mnet? Wow, big clap 👏. I was really impressed.
Another reason I enjoyed this drama so much is because the male lead never gave up. No matter how many obstacles he faced, he always kept trying. I still remember the final episode even without the system, he was determined to do his best and serve the best dishes possible.
Overall, this drama made me laugh so much and left me with a warm feeling. Definitely one of my favorites. ❤️

5 billions stuck in a head of a genius with amnesia - how far is everyone willing to go to get it
Nerve wrecking thriller about 5 billions stuck in a head of a genius with amnesia - all villains coveting that money, but what do they do to get it? How powerful is power in such scenario? Our main Ml broken to pieces rising from ashes like apex predator, gives one of the most exciting thrillers ever.ML is genius multitalented businessman with photographic memory who is the right hand of one of the richest man in Korea owner of Daesan Group, he is also a target of corrupted officials who are stealing from national funds and are coveting Daesan Group.
It almost sounds like plot you've already watched, but there's more to it. Fight scenes so raw, betrayal on multiple levels, romantic partner betrayal, family members betrayal, individuals who started as a normal person and get corrupted by power and money, friendships that happen in the most unexpected places, broken to chatarsis
PLUS
- All characters are well written gray characters - layered, have their humorous side, even villains, all characters are deeply loyal to their family goals
- All characters are struggling to decide on the next step - to kill or get killed
ML
- Park Hyung Sik is amazing actor, from broken to pieces, to rising from the ashes as apex predator - to the point where you consider him completely lost to the dark side. To completely soft normal guys who drinks tea his sister recommended for him and buys tatoo for his girlfriend. So many layers, so many emotions on his face.
FL
- trying not to be victim of this power game, but ends up being caught in it anyway, trying to find her way out of it in the most normal way, she is a breath of fresh air with a soft force approach.
Main villain - Huh Il Do
- a trully ruthless oponent, and amazing character to watch
Yeom Yang Seon - villain
- imagine hunger for power with endless resources and political power. He has no obstacles. Nor law or rule can stop him.
No unnecessary misunderstanding that irritate the viewer
Amnesia trope done well
- also paired up with dementia - almost hilarious combo - when you put these two in the corporate game worth of billions. Hilarious
Imagine access to billions stuck in a head with amnesia, of the guy you wish to kill, but if you do you lose money - how would a villain handle that?
MINUS
- secretary Gong deserved more significant contribution to the plot. That woman knows stuff.
- one friendship deserved more screentime , but will not spoil it here, when you watch you will feel you wanted to see more of that relationship, it was taken from us to soon.
- ending - everyone complains on the ending and with a reason. but don't worry, its only last 5 min - and I believe that is the reason why this drama is not rated 9.5 or something.
Watch it!! Its one of the best k drama ever. And in my opinion better then similar power struggle in Holywood interpretation Succession- which is world wide known, but lacks in so many fields.
Buried Hearts is a must watch k drama.
I only leave reviews for dramas I rate 9,5 or more.

The Drama I Didn't Know I Needed
I went into My Royal Nemesis hoping for a good time-travel drama, and somehow it ended up giving me much more than that. This was one of those dramas that unexpectedly takes over your week. The cast was excellent, the chemistry was beautiful, and the romance was the kind that keeps you smiling long after an episode ends. The story follows Dan-shim, a queen in the Joseon era who is sentenced to death by poison. On the day of her execution, a celestial event transports her consciousness into the future, where she wakes up in the body of a modern-day actress. Thrown into a completely unfamiliar world, she has to adapt to modern life while carrying the strength, dignity, and determination that defined her in Joseon.
What I loved most about this drama was its characters. Dan-shim was an incredibly enjoyable lead to watch. She was strong without being arrogant, intelligent without being cold, and capable of standing on her own even when everything around her changed. Rather than becoming overwhelmed by the modern world, she gradually built a life for herself and proved why she deserved to be the heroine of the story.
The romance was easily one of my favorite parts of the drama. The male lead's devotion to Dan-shim was absolutely heartwarming. Every time he looked at her, every time he smiled at her, you could see just how deeply he loved her. There were moments when I had to rewind scenes simply because I wanted to watch his expression again. His affection never felt forced. It felt genuine, warm, and completely believable.
One of the most emotional parts of the series for me was when Dan-shim returned to Joseon in order to save him. Watching him desperately search for her afterward was heartbreaking. The scene where he puts aside his pride and seeks help because he cannot imagine a future without her was one of the moments that truly sold the romance for me. It was the kind of love story that makes you wonder whether people can really love each other that deeply.
As much as I enjoyed the romance, one question stayed in my mind throughout the drama.
When Dan-shim traveled to the future, what happened to the original soul? Later, we learn that the body swap had been happening for years, but I kept wondering about the other side of the story. What was the person who ended up in Joseon doing during all that time? What was life like from their perspective?
More importantly, why/how was Dan-shim still alive at all?
The drama makes it clear that she was executed by royal decree and forced to drink poison. At that point, her death was already decided. In Joseon, disobeying a royal decree was treason, so once the order had been carried out, there should have been no turning back. She did not fall into a river and survive. She did not walk through a magical door. She was sentenced to death by poisoned and to emphasis by royal decree. Yet when the story later returns to Joseon, she is somehow still alive, and the drama never fully explains how that was possible.
The questions only grew when Dan-shim returned to the past and events even changed. She returned to a different position in Joseon, no longer the queen but a court maid, new characters were even introduced. Yet the history as recoded in the future was the same. She altered several important moments, including saving the prince who was originally meant to die, yet again when she eventually returned to the future, the modern world remained almost exactly as she had left it.
That left me wondering: if major events in the past were changed, shouldn't the future have changed as well? Shouldn't history have unfolded differently?
The ending raised even more questions. The story hints that the Joseon prince eventually develops feelings for the soul that remained behind, but this resolution felt rushed and underexplored. Rather than answering the mystery of the body swap, the drama simply moves on.
Although none of these questions ruined my enjoyment of the series. If anything, they kept me thinking about it long after it ended. However, this was probably the biggest weakness in an otherwise enjoyable drama. The romance was satisfying, but the rules of the time-travel story never felt fully explained, leaving several important questions unanswered.
Even with those unanswered questions, I genuinely loved watching this drama. It gave me exactly what I was looking for at the time: a heartfelt romance, memorable characters, emotional moments, and enough charm to keep me invested from beginning to end. It is one of those shows that I know I will revisit in the future, not because it was perfect, but because it made me feel something.
And honestly, sometimes that's what makes a drama memorable.

A Happy Ending Drama
Lol, I really love Nanheng’s facial expressions he so cute whenever he looks at Yimeng. It’s rare for me, but from start to finish I’ve been hooked on this drama. (Okay, maybe there are a few parts that are a bit boring, but still pretty interesting overall.) From the very beginning, I was already laughing so hard when Nanheng tried to poison Yimeng especially the moment he was about to give her the poison. (Hahaha, I just couldn’t stop laughing at that scene!)Actually, I do agree with some comments saying Yimeng is a bit selfish for not trusting Nanheng and choosing to trust the script instead, even though Nanheng repeatedly told her to trust him. But from Yimeng’s point of view, I get why she’s scared especially after reading the script beforehand. No matter how much she tries, the main plot doesn’t change, even under different circumstances. Still, there are moments where I get frustrated with Yimeng and just wish she would trust Nanheng a little more.
But because since she eventually started trusting him, I’ll let it slide. Poor Nanheng nobody trusts him, even though he’s so kind. Even the Emperor hates him, despite being his own father. If I were in Nanheng’s place, I’d be like, “Who cares? I might as well rebel!” (Hahaha.) But well, men who are green flags kind and smart like Nanheng only exist in dramas.
I did watch some spoilers and it’s rare to see a drama where no characters die, aside from the villains, and everyone gets their own happy ending.
By the way, since I haven’t finished the drama yet, I haven’t decided on my final rating. For now, it’s a solid 9/10

Archives: The Nanyang Misery
Archives: The Nanyang Mystery is one of the Daomu Biji/ Grave Robbers stories which follows the usual characteristics of bromance, action and fantasy of the author. But what does it bring to the table as drama? The drama starts of with fast pace and quick story progression. However the pace slows down significantly after a few episodes. Since then the pacing keeps wavering into slow and fast pace sections.
The character of Hai Lou starts of as carefree, reckless and hot-headed. He does whatever he pleases without repercussion since his brother Hai Xia - the calm, smart and logical one - always cleans up his mess. His master Hai Qi sends him off to a place where no agent has returned from alive. Hai Xia goes against their masters wishes and follows him to once again be his shield. After seemingly loosing his brother Hai Lous character development begins and he has to learn to take responsiblity for his actions by himself. After Hai Xia is revived from the death he slowing turns evil against his will. The struggle of Hai Xia fighting against himself and Hai Lou having to learn to work alone while worrying about Hai Xia gets harder each episode until Hai Xia can't fight against himself anymore and Hai Lou has to kill him which ends his character arc and their brotherhood after a long struggle.
While Hai Qi shows that she cares for Hai Xia countless times she seems to lacks the same level of feelings for Hai Lou as we saw her sending him off to his possible dead with no hesistation, not helping him on the ship until Hai Xia was involved and in more scenes. However she still supports him and lays down all the things she had hidden from him all these years to keep the archives running. Hai Lou should not rely on anyone but himself and she makes that clear.
While having a good storyline to follow something went wrong. We got a glimpse into Hai Xias and Hai Lous relationship at the start of the drama however we didn't get to see nearly as much as we needed to until things fell apart. Also the villains all were comically but depending on the person watching this could either be good or bad. Whatever floats your boat.
The MLs played their parts good but the overuse of face shots got repetitive after a while. Ding Yuxis facial expressions went viral a time ago and it seemed like they are trying to get these viral moments again. The FLs acting was lacking in a lot of scenes but was good enough. The story fell a bit flat especially at the end and made no sense at times which had me wondering if they wanted to go to a diffent storyline but changed it post filming.
They really wanted to make a sad drama and they did.
Overall a good DML drama which shines in action, fighting scenes and atmosphere.
