Enjoyable, but...

Maybe I've only watched a few medical dramas, but dr. romantic feels like your typical 'drama-heavy' show, focusing more on bureaucracy and geodae director trying to mess with doldam hospital, rather than the medical aspect itself. As for the side characters, their backstories feel like brief additions just to give the audience some context.

While I understand his background, kang dong-joo's character development was quite slow, it took 12 out of 20 episodes for him to finally see the bigger picture. He needed to be hit by a reality similar to his past to finally wake up, rather than actually learning from his time at doldam or from master kim. It's still enjoyable, but I personally wished the medical side was highlighted more.

ESTOU CURADA !!!

esse bl me curou namoral

e old q o qin adora isso e adora mandar nele

vou falar outras coisas

eu gostei muitoooo to mt feliz
serio tinha momentos vendo q eu chegava a sentir oq eles tavam sentindo e derretia de amores junto !

adorei as mĂșsicas e gostei do final tambĂ©m com o show da banda ficou bem legal pq normalmente essas cenas de shows ficam meio ruins mas aqui foi tao lehal q fui atĂ© ouvir a banda no spotify

recomendo muitĂssimo esse !!!

Adorable but too fast-paced

I love this manga so when I found out they made an adaptation I was stoked! Overall, the drama is pretty good! The actors do a fantastic job and fit the characters so well! But I feel like unfortunately the pacing of the show does not do the story justice. Trying to fit six volumes into eight twenty-minute episodes just didn't work very well and to me things ended up feeling a little rushed and just too fast-paced. That being said I still think it was a great show and I did genuinely enjoy it, especially the way they decided to censor the explicit scenes, it was very clever and charming! <3

Pond and Phuwin show off a new side of their chemistry here, and it’s honestly just trippy and fun. Pond is hilariously over-the-top while Phuwin’s subtle frustration is spot on. Even with the clichĂ©s, their gazes in the quiet moments are so intense. It gets a bit "cringe" leaning into dramatic tropes, but their connection makes it worth it. It’s great to see them not taking themselves too seriously while the tension between them still feels grounded and real.

This series takes a tired office setting and makes it feel fresh with the reincarnation twist. The pace is definitely jumpy, but luckily the leads have this grounded chemistry that kept me hooked even when the fantasy elements got a bit messy. Their connection feels authentic rather than forced. I appreciated the casual tone; they didn’t over-dramatize every moment, which is a relief for such a short series. I just wanted them to break the cycle so they could finally get some peace.

Duang is a respectful puppy

So much times where I imagine Duang really had a tail and puppy ears, but well if he did it will be shaking uncontrollably every time Qin is around. While Qin is clearly a black cat, but if he had a tail, his tail will gently slap Duang everytime he is around even though he's acting all cold and nonchalant. Boi has been interested early in the plot but just too cool to admit it lmao. The chemistry is AMAZING, although at the start it icks me on how Duang is very cutesy but apparently it's because he's the youngest at home hahah. The stark contrast between his cutesy acting and his serious side also makes it even heart-racing. The story is funny too and I've been giggling throughout the series.

Another thing is that, domundi is REALLY good with bed scenes hahaha it's crazy how good and well crafted it is (they really had a thing on combining the scene timing with the music and it's just UGH chef's kiss). I also love the tension and build up. It's just sooo natural! And the way that Duang is consistent about teasing with the skinskip, but he is VERY respectful with Qin's boundaries and it's just beautiful to see. Qin is moving in a very cat like pace and it's just great to see that despite being silly Duang actually pays attention and respects Qin's consent. He didn't just cross the boundaries and pretend that he's just playing around (with his character I kinda thought he would do that), Duang really takes it step by step, slowly making his way into Qin's heart.

I love Duang's chemistry with his friends but it's just confusing how they keep on appearing out of nowhere on Duang's daily activities hahahahah. Maybe need a better character placement because it makes it unnatural, but hey! The plot is great!

I haven't finished this one yet but it is INCREDIBLE.

If you can look past the fact that this series has one of the silliest plots I’ve ever seen, it is genuinely charming. It’s imaginative and has a lot of heart; I found myself watching with a constant smile on my face. Also, the OST is really, really good! A surprisingly sweet watch that doesn't take itself too seriously.

A charming story that I think is way too underrated. It’s well-produced and offers both laughs and butterflies. While it’s not a deep emotional journey, it’s perfect if you’re looking for something entertaining and a bit "cheesy." It delivers exactly what it needs to for a fun watch, and the visuals really stand out.

Despite its cheesiness, this series is actually really good. It’s cute, heartwarming, and well-acted without ever becoming too dark or chaotic. It manages to stay sweet and grounded, making it a perfect comfort watch. A solid school drama that delivers exactly what it promises—plenty of heart and charm.

Happy Times was a Zhang Yi Mou comedy, something I found to be unexpected from the director of heartbreaking fare. This was a strangely uneven story that required the viewer to accept the unusual setup and just roll with it.

Middle-aged Zhao is determined to marry. Since skinny women aren’t interested in him, he’s turned his sights on plump women in hopes that he will find someone to keep him warm and satisfied. “Big Mom” agrees to marry him though she wants a 50,000 yuan/$7400 wedding to which Zhao agrees. The problem being he is stone cold broke. Friends he has borrowed money from previously are sympathetic, even though this is his 18th attempt at marriage, but don’t have the cash to loan. Big Mom has a blind stepdaughter she treats as a servant and asks Zhao to put her to work at his Happy Times Hotel. The hotel is actually an abandoned bus he and a friend cleaned up in the park to rent out to couples needing privacy. When that financial venture goes awry, he’s forced to manufacture a job for Wu Ying to keep up the illusion he has money so that he can marry her stepmother.

The first thirty minutes were a bit of a slog for me, but picked up when Zhao and Wu Ying ended up forced together. I was afraid they’d go for an inappropriate geezer romance. Thankfully, the duo took on more of a wholesome father-daughter vibe. Though someone needed to buy that girl a robe. Zhao was a good man at heart who bent the truth often in order to try and get ahead. His friends who were also financially challenged and a little peculiar accepted him as he was. The group of lovable losers came to like Wu Ying and did what they could to help her knowing their scam setup would be short lived at best. Big Mama, an expert in consumption, and her overly entitled son, were the annoying villains in this farce. Her selfishness and greed only highlighted Zhao’s desperation for a companion.

This odd, offbeat comedy had its humorous moments and others that fell flat. What was revealed as the story progressed were people capable of genuine kindness and friendship. Zhao and Wu Ying desired the best for each other even if they knew that their lives would be filled with hardship. Happy Times came all too briefly and usually occurred in the presence of loving friends, the gift that requires no wealth. Not one of Zhang Yi Mou’s stronger films, but still enjoyable.

66% treasure

bruh another fucked up drama, 30 episodes were great, then went downhill crazy

SPOILERS

they just kill the kindest soul, most evil characters get redemptions and female lead was acting crazy for 15 episodes, she just broke up with male lead after few days and started running away, then send him message through some shitty pillow and they just reconcile like that? after everything he done pillow worked? I know pregnancy can cause character changes but that shit was 180 degrees

Also - as the child was from sperm bank we are still not sure if that his child or what, as they were hinting to that all drama...
just give us blood check after child is born, as I can respect love for single mother of not your child but if the story progression is pointing to that then it's just cuckolding viewers...

Just frustration left...

a MUST watch series

Unlike ordinary Thai dramas especially in the GLs category. Excellent caliber of acting, cinematography and storyline. A must watch series of the year. The plot twists and turns are excellent, very unexpected and keep viewers seated and unmoved. One of the best (GL) series ever produced. A must watch!

Short and Simple

Honestly, I feel like the overall score is a bit high, but for a short drama like this, it fits. If you're looking for a simple pick-me-up show, this could be for you. If you're looking for a new show that has more than a simple love story, then this is not for you.

Pros:
- Pretty good acting
- The whole cast is all visuals
- Good kiss scenes
- Simple chemistry
- Supportive sister and friend
- Friend specified what he meant from the dialogue
- Simple dialogue and some fun scenes
- Music was simple yet lighthearted. Fit pretty well with the scenes

Cons:
- Very short episodes
- Chang In sometimes smiles after dialogue, so it sometimes breaks the illusion/ doesn't fit the dialogue
- Subs had an error with ages, once saying Su Hyeon was 20. Made it confusing when they later said different ages (plus would've been a whole different story if Eun Ho was 15!)
- Not sure if this was a website error, but a part of one episode had no audio for a minute?
- Some beginning scenes were a little lackluster with acting, but later in the story, it got better
- Did I mention very short episodes?

No big actions, but nuances that touches your hearts

This is not your typical polices investigating cases after cases. Main plot is to solve the disappearance of father and daughter duo, but along the way, it shows relationships among senior and junior in the police station, father and daughter after a divorce, neighbors and colleagues and all in the community. It’s such a touching drama yet at the same time, making us keep guessing who are the murderers.

The best part for me is how good Dylan looks without make up, presenting himself bare-faced in current drama scenes where heavy make up are a norm. His micro expressions are so on point that I can’t see Dylan in Ran Fangxu. A totally new respect to this actor for his talent and skills.
