The story follows Joo In-hyeong (IH), a high school girl who has suffered a long streak of terrible luck. After losing her mother, being tricked out of her inheritance by her aunt, and enduring bullying from her peers. Now, she lives alone in a trailer, clinging to the last pieces of warmth—her memories, and the doll her mother once gave her. Then, everything changes.
Four mysterious and strikingly handsome boys suddenly appear in her life.
Unbeknownst to her, these boys are actually her guardians, born from her deep desperation after losing her mother and her love for her doll. Each of them possesses supernatural powers.
Their powers are:
* JB (Leader): The power of ice. He can freeze objects or people in their tracks.
* Jackson: The power of fire. True to his energetic personality, he can manipulate heat and flames.
* Mark: The power of wind (air). He can create gusts of wind to move objects or form barriers.
* Youngjae: The power of gravity (strength). He can manipulate the weight of objects and exert immense physical force.
Together, they vow to shield IH from harm and help her rediscover happiness.
But complications arise when GOT, a famous idol group, enters the picture. IH has always admired them from afar—especially their leader, Junior. To her, he was untouchable. A dream. Until fate pulls them together. IH somehow becomes entangled with Junior, and slowly, IH gets closer to him. The fantasy begins to feel real.
It soon turns out that Junior and the GOT members have secrets of their own—and those secrets are closely connected to why Junior suddenly becomes interested in IH.
As IH spends more time with him, she starts to realize something important: her feelings for Junior were never truly love—just admiration, the kind every fan carries. At the same time, she begins to recognize her true feelings for JB.
But is it really that simple…?
What exactly is the secret behind the GOT members…? How are they linked to the guardians?
And will JB and IH finally get their happy ending…?
That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoilers. Now what I like and don't.
What I like:
+ Unique story that bring our imagination to life
+ The chemistry between the actor(ess)
+ How in the end the 4 guardians do not choose their selfish wish, but remember the first and foremost reason why they exist in this world.
What I don’t like:
- The ending… It feels like they leave something behind….
Overall for the short drama, this is really a good one…

PREDATOR VS PREY (OMEGAVERSE)
The story follows Sheng Shaoyou, a high- ranking S-class Alpha and wealthy heir. He falls for Hua Yong, who appears fragile and submissive as an omega. However, Hua Yong is actually a rare Enigma ( a tier above Alpha) who has been meticulously manipulating Shaoyou from the start. The power dynamic flips entirely when Shaoyou, the supposed 'top' Alpha, finds himself physically and emotionally dominated by the man he thought he was 'rescuing'.###HIGHLIGHTS
The cinematography is sleek and cinematic, effectively portraying a near-future world defined by pheromones and social hierarchy. Huang Xing's performance as the 'demon shark' ( a manipulative, obsessive lead) is widely praised for its chilling elegance. Also, it's a literal 'first of its kind' for live-action, tackling complex tropes like biological imprinting and male pregnancy with surprising technical detail.
However, the show leans hard into 'Dark BL' territory. It features significant manipulation, gaslighting, and non-consensual elements that have divided the audience. Due to its ambitious content, some episodes feel heavily censored or rushed, particularly in the final arc, which utilized a jarring multi-year time skip. Also, the first few episodes spend a lot of time explaining the biology, which can feel slow for those unfamiliar with the genre.
In conclusion, ABO Desrie is a fever dream, and if you enjoy watching obsessive red-flag romances and high-badget sci-fi aesthetics, it's a must-watch.

Stunningly beautiful
This was a gorgeous movie to watch; the acting, music, and the storyline were just wonderful.A story of acceptance and enjoying life, with some very raw elements including homophobia, being true to ones own feelings, and appreciating the beauty around you. The cinematography was 'chefs kiss', I really felt like their love was shown through the beauty of nature.
A love story that spans years, you see their love grow for one another, their struggles and their unification. I will definitely watch again!

Maybe I just hate romcoms.
Either I hate rom-coms or Korea has lost its touch because wtf was this?! First of all, what a weird choice to pick the creepy pervert from Trecherous and try to make him the main character of your "history misunderstood this monster" narrative. I may excuse the trick for Wang So because there is evidence to support his not-awfulness abolishing slavery, hello?!) or making the puppet king Cheol Jung into a tragic rebel but this one just makes no sense! The show just gives up trying to be even slightly respectful to facts about two episodes into the show. Because there are honestly way too many corrupted officials in this story that they have to whitewash so they just go for silly buffoonery and don't even try to make this a respectable narrative.Next thing, why did they cast a 12-year-old to play the king?! At no point in the show does it ever work to suspend the disbelief that this child is a formidable, dangerous king with immense power and bloodthirst... that's literally a teenager throwing a temper tantrum! And yes. I could TELL both women in his life had like...a decade on him! Those actresses just carry themselves with the wisdom and confidence that comes with age and this kid was in the kiddy pool beside them. Was there not one actor in his 40s who was willing to take this role?!
But I guess if Oppa doesn't have that kpop idol glow, the romcom charade won't sell, then, would it?!
Then you have...the plot. First of all, this was not romantic. At all. Why is this woman interested in the king?! He has no depth of personality to make him attractive. He is either threatening to kill her or throwing a temper tantrum over his mom, or putting her in situations that are life threatening. None of this was remotely romantic. Even him falling for her makes no sense. A dude known for his perversion and debased behavior, blusing like the actual teenage virgin that he is over a woman who is literally just doing her job...I have never been this angry being fed cliche kdrama rom-com moves. I swear if I was richer I would have thrown my slipper at my TV (but I can't afford breaking my TV!).
Someone needs to stop. Either the drama writers. The producers. The directors...someone needs to stop. This is garbage. How many times are you going to reuse a grown woman going noodle leg and falling on top of a giant man who should be strong enough to hold his footing when a feather-weight woman trips into his chest!
LIKE AT LEAST TRY TO NOT BE SO CLICHE!
It's been two weeks and I'm still mad.
This was not dark enough for the character it was trying to redeem. It was also not light enough to be treated as substance-less fluff like something like First night with the duke. At least that was is so silly and stupid that it can't be held responsible! This show was stuck somewhere between being a serious historical romance and being extremely stupid fluff.
Also, I don't like Yoona. She isn't bad in any visible or obvious way but she gives me bad vibes and no matter what she does, I'm annoyed. Not her fault. (Maybe a little her fault) I just don't vibe with her.
The show fairs slightly better on the food front though the over the top reactions are so silly!
I didn't like this. I do not recommend this and I want to yell at everyone who hyped this up. What is wrong with you?!

I thought I was going to despise it but it now that back
I know they changed the whole story and made the actors older but it’s actually really good like I was forcing my self to hate it soooooooooo much but it’s really good. The actors really ate that, like even the side characters aren’t that boring.
I feel like it’s also mainly bias hate because it’s not people’s favorite actor/actress and because they are a little bit old.

Not funny or romantic or anything
Things I liked1 The premise. I thought it was interesting. Unfortunately it turned out to be depressing instead of funny.
2 The FL. She's not my favorite actress but I've seen other dramas with her and I think she's cute and quite talented.
Things I disliked
1 The lack of chemistry. I didn't think they were good together. Nothing inspired me to rule for them. It was bland and boring. The FL tried too hard and it didn't work.
2 The acting of the ML. He has a natural talent for making everything a little sad and depressing.
3 The cinematography. Too dark and uninspiring.
Things I hated
1 Too long.
2 Not funny. yes, she tried and yes she had some jokes that landed but nothing original, nothing truly funny. I wonder why the heck didn't they hire someone to write a true one woman stand. Most of the jokes she said are old and were never funny to start with. I wonder honestly how this drama can have so many 10. Do I miss something?

I HATE MISCOMMUNICATION ?
First of all the drama was so cutee and adorable. I loved Mu-hee's character development. The story was pretty basic nothing special but I liked how they dealt with her childhood trauma and how that affected her relationships. I loved the male lead, even though sometimes he sent her mixed signals imo. BUT THEY HAD SO MUCH MISCOMMUNICATION 😭😭 DON'T GET ME WRONG I LOVED THE DRAMA. IT WAS EASY TO WATCH AND I LOVED THE ACTORS BUT THE MISCOMMUNICATION 💔💔. They could've just talked and everything would've been resolved. I feel like they kind of stretched it just to hit the 12 episode mark. Would I rewatch this ?? personally no because the miscommunication annoyed me so much, it was cute and all but not worth rewatching imo. I also loved the second lead Hiro, at first I hated him but he grew on me. And people who are saying that he should've ended up with Mu-hee make no sense 😭. I felt kind of bad for him but I liked his character development and how he was able to grow because of his experiences. Was this review helpful to you?

I don't like it.
In Between is an immature, greedy, deceitful, love-and-hatred–based drama. It revolves around two women who are struggling with their fate. Both of them are in relationships. One girl is in a relationship with an immature man. He does not know how to balance his personal and professional life. He is too absorbed in his work and hardly thinks about his girlfriend. They are in a long-distance relationship and mostly communicate through calls and messages. She often reminisces about their past—how they met and how much he once cared for her. Whenever she remembers those moments, she cries a lot, yet she continues the relationship. However, at a certain point, their bond weakens, and one day they break up.
Meanwhile, the other girl lives with her boyfriend in a live-in relationship. She is a successful woman in the corporate world and is ambitious to climb the career ladder. At the same time, she is serious and honest about her relationship and truly loves him. One day, she gets an opportunity that requires her to go abroad. When she informs him, he tells her to go ahead. However, at the airport, he is unsure whether he wants to continue the relationship, while she believes that their bond is still strong.
This is how both girls’ love stories begin and eventually fall apart. Later, both of them are betrayed by the same man, after which they slowly gather themselves, move on, and recover from their deceitful relationships.
Personally, I did not like the drama because it was overly emotional and sentimental. Many times, I felt irritated watching how the girls were repeatedly fooled by the man. Even during the confrontation, neither of them showed enough anger or resentment. If I were in their place, I would have slapped him and exposed his true colours in front of his fiancée.
The acting was good, but there were hardly any happy moments in the drama. It is simply not my kind of show.

Broken soul entangled to each other
I was quite skeptical with Li Ruoqi drama since two of her drama with Zhang Beixi and Charon make me dissatisfied and tried this as last resort. And it was far better than two dramas that i mentioned even it was not her best drama. Both the ML and FL are the second children who never been favored in their original families. One is after power, and the other is after love, so they hit it off and start a sweet new life after marriage. I like FL and ML buddies they are supportive circle for the leads.
FL's character is very clear-headed. Her transition from having ulterior motives to genuinely caring for the ML is very natural and not awkward at all. Li Ruoqi should take role that show vulnerable side of FL instead since it was her forte instead getting righteous FL.
Li Shengjie is good at playing good nature ML and his smiling was a healing for FL. I like his chemistry with Li Ruoqi feel so natural and sweet.
The FL sister part was not that good i was fast forwarding when she appeared.
Recommended to watch.

VIRTUAL TO REALITY ROMANCE
The overall plot centers on Hu Xiu, a woman feeling stagnant in her life, who joins a high-stakes virtual reality murder game set in the Republic of China era. Inside the game, she faces off against a cold, brilliant NPC player named Qin Xiao Yi. The twist? Her digital rival is actually Xiao Zhiyu, the legendary founder of a prestigious architecture firm and, coincidentally, her new real-life landlord. As they navigate corporate intrigue and personal growth, the line between their game personas and their true selves blurs.$$ THE HIGHLIGHTS
Firstly, the standout feature of this drama is the chemistry between Chen Xingxu and Lu Yuxiao. Many other modern C-dramas rely on 'accidental kisses' or forced misunderstandings, but the romance here is grounded and mature; Xiao Zhiyu is portrayed as a high-EQ professional rather than the typical toxic 'Ice King CEO. Hu Xiu is a refreshing female lead who communicates her feelings and stands her ground, avoiding the 'damsel in distress' trope.
Secondly, the use of a VR murder mystery game as a bridge for their relationship is a stroke of genius. It allows for beautiful period- costume scenes (Republic of China aesthetics) without being a full-blown historical drama. It adds a layer of suspense that keeps the pacing tight. Directed by Mao De Shu, the drama features his signature 'fresh' and cinematic style. The lighting and Shanghai locations feel like a love letter to the city, making every frame look like a high-end magazine spread.
Lastly, while the romance is top-tier, I still think the VR game plotline is slightly underutilized in the latter half of the series. Some of the corporate 'revenge' subplots can feel a bit standard for the genre, but they are carried by the strong performances of the lead cast.
In conclusion, Love Between Lines is a must-watch for fans who like slow-burning, intelligent romances. It skips the fluff and gives us a story about two people who actually respect and challenge each other. Also, I know for sure that y'all will have a second male lead syndrome.
