I can't get over 2 things...
Ok - spoilers.Love the cast. Acting was great. Production was great. Action was great. FOOD LOOKED AMAZING.
BUT...
1) He was legit a murdering tyrant. He had dozens/hundreds of innocent people murdered. And that's really never resolved beyond "oops he realized that maybe wasn't ok." I mean, she fell in love with someone who had women and children killed.
2) The ending of him just showing up AS the King? So they never really resolve his terrible terrible past.
3) "It's a secret... it doesn't matter" felt like it would have been cute in a different storyline, but here it felt dismissive to the fans. It wouldn't have been such a big deal to have him held in the book and released when she returns to the present. OR better yet, at least have his spirit reincarnated or something (which at least dodges the "he's a murderer" thing.)

One of the best remakes! Keep the same actors for the next adaptations as well
Usually, I'm not a fan of remakes, but this time I was pleasantly surprised by this series. The acting, the story, and the chemistry between the actors are so good that I totally enjoyed each episode to the max ;)
The friendship between our three beloved characters is the best one out here - one of the main reasons why this series is so successful. Xu Zhen Xuan, as Wu Xie is so good at portraying both innocence, sarcasm, pain, sorrow, and happiness that he makes a great team with his on-screen partners Cheng Xiang as Zhang Qi Ling and Sun Ge Chuan Ye as Pang Zi.
This start of the series builds their connection, and we can see how their friendship builds organically throughout each experience that they face, each saving, and the trust keeps building until it becomes the strongest force that will make their friendship unbreakable during all the years that follow.
For me, it feels like his adaptation is more authentic to the books than the previous one, although I liked that one as well.
The CGI is excellent as well, and the soundtrack is on point.
Now I want to see other adaptations with the same cast ;) Fingers crossed!!!

honestly? like a draft work
Plot was promising. then went bad- to the point i kept skipping. Pretty sure i spent more time skipping than watching.Acting good, music good, nothing negative for that.
Episode length was fine, but for what it showed it definitely could be made into a one minute low cost series.
I hope the company decides to actually focus on one series and make it good instead of treating them all like a to-do.

A Funny Way of Life
As everyone started posting that this drama is worst , story is worst and horrible to watch etc., i thought atleast for this i have to watch, finally got a time to watch and completed this drama is not bad at all this is very funny and though love triangle is complicated but it was nice also some relations were complicated but still they adjusted and stayed with each other this is a really a very funny drama to watch you can watch and i am not here critize others because everyone has their own ways to judge but u can absolutely watch this and enjoy. Both the ML's are very good and good bond of friendship heroine being a dumb still know to protect and analyse the love and also very serious towards her ambition rest of the relations very complicated but shows how they got comfortable while adjusting and was very funny. So must watch this drama. Was this review helpful to you?
The story is in the title - YOU and everything else
“You and Everything else” certainly is a thought provoking drama. We all have our own inner demons we need to slay….the question is, do you overcome them or let them consume you?By episode 13, I was pretty much done with the idea of everybody calling REJ and CSY soulmates - they are in fact twin flames. They are destined to reflect the worst of each other and the best. While bittersweet, going through their journey together was rather poignant.
In the end, life as always was their worst enemy.
The cast and crew did a great job. Kim Go Eun reminded me of a more mature, experienced version of JET (from Goblin) whilst Park Ji Hyun managed to portray the most mesmerizing “villainess” I’ve seen in a while. You want to hate her but just can’t help feel for her. The rest of the cast did a great job as well. It was also interesting to see the drama dive deep into the gritty areas of making a movie as well as the taboo side of euthanasia and how society/ familial pressure can make or break a person.
While the background music wasn’t really memorable (soothing but nothing mind blowing), I’d love to single out how the use of deafening silence and lack of music in certain scenes in ep 15 managed to elevate the scenes in question. The technic emphasized the characters’ raw emotions to the point that it’s almost visceral.
The story format of the drama is mostly based on flashbacks between the past and the present in a “slice of life” format so at times it may feel slow. The pacing does get better towards the second half of the drama once we hit their 30s arc. The final 3-4 episodes collectively can almost make you forget about the slow moments as things become more serious - this is also probably why my overall rating is high!
PS : Fair warning, the drama delves on heavy topics and can force you to self reflect - so beware🤫

Sweet if Dated Film
Unfortunately I could only find a very poor quality video of this movie with English subtitles, so my review is colored by my frustration with unclear pictures and bad subtitles. This film is a sweet and engaging story that sets the standard for first love BLs in terms of storyline and emotional development. Many of the tropes we now see in gay awakening or first love BLs are present here, many years before the Thai BL industry got going. I found this very interesting. There is some homophobia which we also see in many BLs, especially early ones, which I don’t like. It’s frustrating to watch characters say they don’t want to be gay or are not gay when they clearly love someone of the same sex.
The third act of this film was really moving, and I cried when the MLs were separated. Ped’s realization of his feelings after Oí leaves was powerful even if it he never stated that he wanted to be a couple. It is implied enough by the end. I guess it was too much to expect a kiss, though.
Despite liking the story, it was a bit amateurish and lacked development. Certain parts felt abrupt and the dialogue was limited. (Or I thought so because the subtitles were so bad.) The acting seemed good through the haze of poor video quality, but I can’t be sure because it was hard to see their faces clearly.
Overall I’m glad I watched this, but frankly I can now see better versions of this story many times over. Still it was touching and very interesting in terms of the history of BLs. No one mentions this as paving the way for future shows. Maybe not many people saw it or know about it. I only found it because I needed to watch an early work as part of a Challenge.
I don’t think it deserves a good rating but it also shouldn’t be discounted just because it has flaws.

It's Omegaverse
As a fan of the Omegaverse genre, from comics, novels, and anime, I really enjoy it.I'm usually not a fan of BL live-action. But after watching all the episodes, I'm looking forward to it.
They even formed a boy group called Desire 4. Their songs are great and already on my playlist. I'm also really looking forward to their Douyin live stream every Saturday. This is the first time I've seen all the main characters. They're truly adorable kids. I really support them. I hope they become even more popular.

Love’s Ambition: Rediscovering Each Other
🔹 Would I rewatch? Yes.🔹 You know how you can instantly love a song from the first beat or recognize your favorite dessert after one bite?
🔹 Dramas are similar; you can quickly tell if the pace, chemistry, and story work.
✨ What happens when love is built on image and influence instead of trust?
📕 Overview
🔹 32 episodes, romance, drama
🔹 Adapted from the web novel "Da Qiao Xiao Qiao" by Zhang Yueran
🔹 Zhao Lusi plays Xu Yan, an aspiring television host who appears confident on screen and manages her public image.
🔹 William Chan plays Shen Hao Ming, a wealthy city guy who seems put-together.
🔹 The story begins when Xu Yan, an aspiring TV anchor from a modest background, starts a relationship with accomplished urban elite Shen Hao Ming. Their differences in upbringing and status quickly surface, shaping the path ahead
🔹 At the time of this review, only the early episodes have aired, and you can see them navigating big expectations for their future together
🌸 How It Felt Watching
🔹 The initial episodes felt like entering a carefully crafted world where appearance is as significant as emotions.
🔹 I was captivated by Zhao Lusi's portrayal of Xu Yan; her attitude and ambition feel refreshing.
🔹 William Chan doesn’t reveal much on screen, which makes me want to understand him better.
🔹 The drama’s about love and trust, but what stood out to me was how each character tries to protect themselves and still connect
✨ Cast & Acting
🔹 I enjoy seeing Zhao Lusi take on a sharper, more serious role. She effectively portrays the ambitious anchor while still making it easy to root for her.
🔹 William Chan seems reserved. While I wanted more expression at times, it suits his character, so I understand.
🔹 The rest of the cast fills out the story and adds tension and conflict where it counts.
🎞️ Production Style
🔹 Sets are contemporary and sometimes reflect the current trend in lifestyle.
🔹 The drama shifts between office power struggles, upscale residences, and the behind-the-scenes life of a TV studio.
☕ Tea Notes
🔹 What worked: The setting, engaging chemistry between the characters, and the way the show intertwines ambition and romance.
🔹 What could be better: At times, I wished for more genuine reactions and real emotions, especially from Shen Hao Ming.
🔹 Would I rewatch? Yes, I like dramas that weave together the chaos of life with the drive for ambition, creating a captivating narrative
🔹 I noticed some small flaws along the way, but I overlooked them because I genuinely connected with the cast and the show’s themes.

Two Red flags that match perfectly
I ended up really liking this short drama. The chemistry between the leads was electric. Very much enemies to lovers but the FL can more than hold her own with the ML. Truly partners in their crazy. Some modern sensibilities from the FL but within the confines of her character didn't seem out of place - which is hard to do. Once again this form of drama wins at both the visuals and the intimacy. Why yes the ML manhandles her around with ease. And the height difference was used beautifully. Young, hot relationships should have that intensity and these two had it in spades. Also enjoyed the wife seduce her husband. That's a trope that we need more of.All in all a fun series and will rewatch.

Actually…
I actually really liked this drama. Story/plot wise…and acting wise… go ahead and read the other reviews. But, if you want something to laugh to, and don’t mind a bit of tears (if the acting even gets you there), then this is a pretty good choice for it. I loved the friend circle. Everyone was pretty funny, though I can see why some might cringe. The dynamics were wonderful and brought a lot of laughter, but then again I’m easily amused. Although the plot could’ve been expanded on, I’m personally fine with the way it went. It’s not a masterpiece, but again, I enjoyed it.But please. For the love of the world, not in the middle of the road, guys.

What I thought of the series: Music competitions are my thing, and Boys II Planet didn't disappoint. I supported the contestants who joined the group, so I'm hoping for some fantastic music from them. :) Now, where's my next music show fix? :DYou can find more of my reviews on Instagram. :D See my homepage about my Instagram account. I really enjoyed it!
I was scared about season 3. I thought season 2 had a pretty clear ending and we didn’t need more, but obviously I wanted more. Season 3 was unnecessary but not bad at all.Ok Yall big spoiler, but Wdym Usagi is pregnant and they’re married??? Like I was shocked.
Anyway, I never felt bored apart from maybe the first few minutes of the first episode, but we need those boring moments to understand new characters. The games were very good and I didn’t except to get attached to new characters so quickly.
I loved the siblings bond and I was devastated when sota died. I was also so sad when Tetsu died.
I don’t wanna say too much, but yeah I really enjoyed it!!!!!!! Oh and I love how it’s a good ending. I see lots of people don’t like the third season, and honestly I can kind of see why, but I loved it cuz I’m a little obsessed with Alice in borderland.

nice
It ended exactly as I predicted in episode 1!!Fun, intriguing story...the cooking scenes are beautiful, of course. The costumes and locations are beautiful. The direction and sometimes the writing are terrible, but it was enjoyable to watch with my wife.
What a shock to see what happens in the penultimate episode, though!
Unfortunately, the story ends like this, and there won't be room for a season 2, perhaps set in the present day. What a shame.

Remarkable K-Drama of 2025
Bon Appétit, Your Majesty tells the story of a modern chef suddenly thrown into the Joseon era and for me, it felt both fun and creative, giving a fresh spin on the historical-romance genre. The time travel element wasn’t just a gimmick, it actually tied into the characters’ fates and the emotional core of the drama, making every encounter between the leads feel magical and destined.
I loved how the drama balanced everything, funny scenes that made me laugh, action and palace conflicts that kept me tense, sad and dramatic moments that touched my heart and of course the romance that tied it all together.
The chemistry between Yoona and Lee Chae-min was warm, natural and full of little moments that made their relationship so believable. Their bond grew not just through sweet words but through food, trust and shared struggles inside the palace. Every stolen glance, every scene in the kitchen and every moment they protected each other made the love story both tender and powerful.
Lee Chae-min’s outstanding performance as the king is truly remarkable, he perfectly balanced the strength of a ruler caught in palace politics with the vulnerability of a man deeply in love. Yoona also did a wonderful job and the supporting casts delivered strong performances without any flaws making the drama even more entertaining.
Many may not be satisfied with the ending since it doesn’t explain everything but I was actually okay with it.
It left the door open for me to imagine how he managed to travel to the future to meet her.
It may be a bit cliché or predictable but I can’t deny that it’s truly satisfying to have the happy ending we all want where the ML and FL finally meet and live together in the modern day rather than some tragic plot where one of them dies or they are separated. That’s why I don’t get mad at all.
Between the fantasy premise, the heartfelt romance, the mouthwatering food scenes and the political intrigue, this drama gave me everything I could ask for.
Easily a 10/10 experience!

“Rearrange” - A Refreshing, Well-Rounded BL Gem
"Rearrange" is a truly refreshing addition to the BL genre—one that doesn’t rely on shallow fanservice or overhyped moments to carry its story. Instead, it delivers a genuinely engaging plot, great character development, and strong performances from its cast. The chemistry between the main leads is palpable and feels authentic, making their emotional journey both believable and heartfelt. Equally impressive is the second couple, who bring their own charm and depth to the story without ever feeling like a filler or an afterthought. It’s rare to see both couples in a BL series complement each other so well without overshadowing one another.
The plot is well-paced and thoughtfully written, steering clear of the recycled tropes and empty drama that plague many other popular BLs. There's actual substance here—characters with motivations, growth, and real conflict—not just a parade of cute moments for the sake of fan edits.
Another standout is the OST. The soundtrack enhances every scene beautifully, adding emotion without being overpowering. It’s the kind of music you’d want to listen to long after the series ends.
Acting-wise, everyone delivers. The cast gives nuanced, emotionally resonant performances, and the directing knows when to hold back and when to push. It’s proof that BLs can be taken seriously when made with care and intention.
In a landscape full of series that are wildly popular for all the wrong reasons—overhyped shows with no real plot or heart, coasting on surface-level appeal and empty fanservice—“Rearrange" stands out for all the right reasons. It has depth, sincerity, and quality. People might sleep on it now, but this is the kind of show that deserves recognition.
Definitely an 8/10 for me. I know I’ll be rewatching it at least a couple more times.
