The drama is Female centered & Fl character is done well from start to end she stays that way never changes whatever the situation is, she doesn't like corruption & try to fight injustice & ML stands with her in the fight, they face many setbacks but don't give up & try harder, story don't waste time dragging & increasing frustrating elements, I think the story is presented better than most Thai dramas that deal with such scenarios, leads don't act stupid like the leads in dramas with such scenarios, they are patient & tries harder to solve the issues they face, it's slow paced but character interaction & growth is done better than most Thai dramas with similar settings. The show may not be for everyone, there is romance, but it takes time to develop, character interactions are done well.I won't say the drama is perfect, it has issues, but it's done well compared to other dramas with similar scenarios, Fl character is done well, she is confident & don't let anyone dictate how she should handle things.

“Ji Chang-wook × Nam Ji-hyun — A Drama Where Even Their Softest Smiles Turn Into Chemistry”
Suspicious Partner is one of those rare dramas that makes you smile, feel warm, and stay emotionally invested without even realizing it. What truly carries the entire show is the beautiful, effortless chemistry between Ji Chang-wook and Nam Ji-hyun. As Noh Ji-wook and Eun Bong-hee, they create a connection that feels real—soft, playful, emotional, and natural in a way that’s hard to find in most rom-coms.Their relationship grows from awkward misunderstandings into trust, comfort, and eventually a love that feels almost too genuine for fiction. Ji-wook’s quiet protectiveness blends perfectly with Bong-hee’s bright, honest charm, and together they make every scene feel alive. Whether they’re teasing each other, solving cases side by side, or sharing silent emotional moments, there’s a spark between them that pulls you in instantly.
The best part is how well the drama balances everything—romance that warms your heart, comedy that feels natural, and mystery that adds just enough tension without overshadowing the sweetness. It’s fun when it needs to be fun, emotional when it needs to be emotional, and comforting from beginning to end.
If you’re looking for a drama with real chemistry—not the exaggerated kind, but the kind you feel—this one is absolutely worth your time. Suspicious Partner is charming, addictive, and full of moments you’ll want to replay. It’s the kind of show that stays with you, not because it’s flashy, but because the connection between Ji Chang-wook and Nam Ji-hyun feels sincerely unforgettable.

A beautifully crafted drama where every character shines
I love the emotional push and pull between Gu Pingyuan and Yu’er, and I’m genuinely moved by the turbulent romance between General Li Cheng and Bai Yimei. Actually, every character leaves a deep impression, each with their own charm, helplessness, and struggles in a turbulent era. Watching them get swept along by the tides of history makes you wonder where ordinary people can go, and how they choose their path when fate offers no easy answers. This drama is truly a standout. In an era dominated by fast-paced short dramas, this series feels carefully polished and full of heart. The performances are strong across the board, the immersion is excellent, and the storyline keeps deepening with every episode.
It gave me a lot to reflect on, and I strongly recommend it. I hope you’ll come to love it as much as I do.
I watch it on Drama Apple's YouTube channel. so glad I find it there. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes!!!

A Masterclass in How Not to Write… Anything. Plot Holes So Big Even the Emperor Could Fall Through
If endurance were an Olympic sport, finishing The Princess Gambit would qualify me for a bronze medal… and a lifetime of trauma counseling. This drama is a spectacular misfire: a perfect storm of convoluted plotting, psychologically incoherent characters, and technical missteps that demands the complete annihilation of a viewer’s disbelief.Let’s start with the plot, which seems to have been assembled by a committee of sleep-deprived squirrels.
We are told a decade passes between the FL’s forced marriage and her reunion with her brother. Ten years! Yet, everyone (save the brother, who alone looks suitably traumatized given how much he appears to have aged) behaves as if maybe 18 months have passed.
Time isn't just a flat circle here; it's a lie. This is merely the first in a series of glaring loopholes that define the narrative.
Then we have the backstory of the Beiyuan queen, which deserves its own wuxia comic entitled The Impossible Woman.
She’s a legendary escape artist / torture survivor / revenge mastermind / palace seductress / long-term assassin.
She escapes Country Qi, is tortured into disability + infertility by a mysterious VIP (later revealed as the Emperor), charms her way into his bed, and slowly poisons him for decades.
Somewhere in this saga, she’s also the lifelong love of Country Qi’s 3rd prince - a bond formed when he was a boy and she his servant.
Given the massive age gap, this woman is either aging backwards or running on pure plot armor and Botox. Honestly, respect though, she’s more resilient than 90% of Marvel superheroes.
Speaking of the 3rd prince… good lord.
A teenage crush so powerful it transforms him into a full-time murderer and part-time psychopath.
He slaughters family and strangers alike for a woman he’s seen maybe a handful of times.
Romeo and Juliet walked so this unhinged man could sprint off a cliff.
His devotion isn’t convincing; it’s a narrative mandate that turns him into an idiotic psychopath in service of a cold-blooded and nonsensical revenge plot.
The drama then leans heavily on yawn-inducing, amateur tropes.
Behold the FL Misunderstanding Cycle™: tortured, betrayed, and emotionally brutalized by the ML until… Oops! He thinks she’s dead and transforms overnight into the “most devoted husband ever, ever so ready to lay down his life.” The emotional whiplash is faster than my fast-forward button.
And let’s return to our Evil Queen, who clearly earned a PhD in Strategic Stupidity. To kill the FL and friends, she attempts to burn down her own city, ignoring civilians, political fallout, and the fact her psycho boyfriend is inside. The writers aimed for cold-blooded but landed on idiotic psychopath (so in this sense, these two silly psychos are a match made in heaven).
It’s not cunning; it’s chaotic nonsense that pushes a plot already on life support completely off a cliff.
The lovelines are equally amateur and unconvincing, generating all the chemistry of two damp towels leaning against each other.
But the true coup de grâce? The production.
The makeup is horrible: cakey, ghostly, and unflattering, making the entire cast look ill. The female lead looked wide-eyed 90% of the time (which is kinda creepy cos she doesn’t seem to blink much) while the male lead looks brooding (it’s like he has something on his mind. Permanently. Maybe he’s wondering about his drama choices 🤷♀️)
Paired with acting that oscillates between wooden and melodramatic, it creates the aesthetic of a lavishly funded high-school play. It constantly breaks immersion, reminding you you’re watching a struggle against underwhelming material.
By Episode 15, my fast-forward button glowed red-hot. I watched at max speed, skipped chunks, and still rolled my eyes enough to strain them.
But because I’m cursed with the need to finish what I start, I forced myself through every last absurd episode. My poor eyes. My wasted hours.
Final Verdict:
★☆☆☆☆
One star - A case study in how not to construct a drama. Recommended only for masochists, or those seeking validation that their critical eye is still sharp.
Conclusion: If you enjoy plot holes large enough to swallow a royal palace, characters allergic to logic, and makeup that could double as Halloween special effects, then The Princess Gambit is for you.
Otherwise… run. Fast. And don’t look back.

Ta Wen Xiao Mei Gui(2025), aka: Kiss With A Rose(2025), is a nice fantasy rebirth miniseries with Yang Yu Bin (as Jiang Sheng) and Fang Si Chang (as Ning Qiu Tang) in the leading’s couple role. The cast did well taking in consideration that the story is a bit complicated since the setting is related to the transmigration of real life characters into a story controlled by a “system” and the leading lady of the story. This novel should have been adapted into a longer running series since it has too many characters that are of importance to the system and needed to be explained better. The romance is underrated by the lack of time to be developed in a more intelligible way but it is a very interesting story to put on screen. The leading couple had a good rapport but the male lead still lacks the right facial expressions to bring about his intricate character. Overall, the drama has an interesting story and, for the most part, entertaining.Adapted from the web novel "Ta Wen Xiao Mei Gui" by Yi Yi San San
In the meantime, this drama can be found in YouTube under the caption:
“She died for love, reborn, she turned cold, only to be loved and protected by the man above all.” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRz1oMrNzqY) or “Once a pampered heiress, she was scorned and abused—all for loving the wrong man and one mistake.” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=px6h4334h2k)

Almost That Summer
This is a series where you must believe that everything that could go right, does. It is filled with fairy-tale Edenic bliss. Surprisingly, a lot of it works and if they had tightened up the story and made it more plausible, it would have been a great melodrama. Instead, it simply ended up just another good drama, but merely becoming an addition to a long-line of throw-away BLs that have a cookie-cutter premise having a wildly Pollyanna ending. It is not bad; just disappointing. One must really suspend one’s perspectives with this story. The story itself was surprisingly strong most of the time. It is hard to sustain an ‘amnesia’ theme, and this tended to get a bit long-in-the-tooth, as the expression goes. This story was presented way too simplistically and hurriedly to be fully believable or acceptable. Yet, it did make for a cute story. It is an entertaining series to be sure with a stronger than usual BL component than your run-of-the-mill trite Thai BL story. Was this review helpful to you?
Never Expected It's Gonna Be Very Good!
The story is about a woman from the modern era who got trapped in the story that she's been working on. She got the power to turn back time. But later on, she decided to stay alive in that era to change the storyline since she would die no matter what happened because the story had been created like that. So she managed to use the mechanism of the story to gain the benefit from it to avoid her death...It's become interesting to see how it's ended since a lot of plot twists happened. I like their transition and effects too! Overall, it's very good!
Lot of comedy and action scene :)

don’t waste your time. watch literally anything else.
if this series resonates with you because you where any of the multitudes of trauma levied on the MC, good for you, don’t let this review take away from that. Now as a survivor myself of not the most ideal home situation and sexual assault i can say the only thing this series gave in terms of value is not making all the rapists random strangers. it’s his ex, his stepdad, and his boss, all of which happen very often in reality and it’s great that people can be more wary of who and what to look for.. BUT everything else about the way he navigates trauma? very… sanitized… very “movie trope-y” if you get what i mean. everyone reacts to trauma different, but his reactions don’t even make sense for whatever had just happened to him not even a scene before we see his reactions. oh, i got assaulted in a parking lot after work? let me walk at night all alone by myself after work… not even the next day
anyone who rates this torture porn that’s held together by terrible character writing and plot higher than a 3 star should go to hell… i came for steamy scenes, got through 7 or so episodes of ooorly written trauma, and left because it all should’ve been over when the third rapey villain was defeated
TL;DR Borderline insulting portrayal of victims of SA to me, the characters pretend they're 3 dimensional but they fall on tropes that have no purpose other than shock value or prolonging plot points that could've wrapped up sooner.

Great thriller!
I watched this drama despite the low ratings, negative comments and complaints about the ending. The ratings and negative comments are not a reflection on the quality of the drama, but merely people's opinions. That's fine, not everyone needs to like the same things, but don't be discouraged by them and just try ot for yourself. You might like it or you might not like it, but it is a well-thought out and gripping story with great acting. There are gaps in the story, sure, and at times it was slow. The ending might not please everyone because it leaves room for a second season that might never happen. However, it is still a great thriller, inteligently written, with unexpected turns. I recommend trying.

This one will stay with you for a while
Its honestly quite rare to find such an original storyline nowadays with a good portrayal of real life. Some of you might even relate to the show. Id don’t really know how to describe this show but, I recommend that everyone watch it. It is different and just amazing. All the actors have done really good job and honestly i was half expecting a totally over the top everything happy ending , but it was quite grounded. It leaves you with feeling you wish you could see more.
Also surprising not as cheesy, show feels just balanced the right way.

Never give in! Hwaiting!
This is a quality drama, that I can attest. I wish I can say it is a fun watch for me as well. This is both its strength and its weakness.Firstly, this show is all about Lee Jun Ho. He is ably assisted by Kim Min Ha. Their chemistry is nice and sweet. There is no doubt who carried the show though. The ML made it watchable even when the going gets tough. LJH seldom disappoints and he brought his A-game to this party.
Secondly, this drama did a great job portraying the so-called IMF Crisis circa 1997-2001. They did well to replicate the look and feel of the era. The A-plot is strongly focused on the fallout of that economic crisis and its impact on Koreans. It is not all gloom and doom but those are harsh years.
We watch the ML and his team struggle. It is not just your typical daily grind. We are talking about extinction level events. This gets even more complicated when you factor in the antagonist's machinations.
Speaking of the antagonist, the father and son duo are somewhat overblown. You’d think they are criminal masterminds. Not so, at least not going by textbook definitions. The father is a shrewd businessman, and he is willing to play dirty to get what he wants. His son is worse as he is a vain, spoiled brat who has some serious anger and daddy issues. I know it is dog-eat-dog out there, but they are singularly focused on the destruction of Typhoon Trading.
As I mentioned earlier, I don't find it a fun watch. The ML and his team worked their collective butts off. They have small wins, but their joy always turns to dismay before the end credit rolls. It is unrelenting.
Your level of enjoyment will depend on expectations and forbearance. The ML helps the medicine go down, but it is still a bitter pill.
As expected, this test the ensemble cast's mantle. The senior cast did well. There is depth to most characters. Having said that, the 2CP storyline does feel a little tacked on. They are a nice CP, but their romance has very little to do with the A-plot.
This presents me with a conundrum. It is a variation of the form over function argument. While I can appreciate many aspects of this quality production. I would be lying if I say I look forward to each episode with relish. Time and again, I groan inwardly as the same "how low can it go" formula is repeated. Not only is it depressing, but it also makes the progression quite predictable. Thankfully, after several iterations, we finally reached the end game.
I'm not go to spoil the ending. Let’s just say it followed the well worn path. While the last ep is probably the most enjoyable in the series, it also feels a little disassociated from the rest. There is certainly a marked shift in tone.
Reluctantly, I have decided to deduct 1 point from my score. I need to balance the style vs enjoyment equation. This is a thought-provoking show. A show that will stay with me for some time, yet it will not be in my rewatch list. Peace.

Sweet and youthful story but strong deja vu feeling
This SP drama of about 2 hours features the encounter of high school girl Jang Dan Bi who on her way to pass her college exam is by magic brought back into the past, in Joseon Kingdom, where she met with King Lee Do. This drama requires quite a bit of suspension of disbelief regarding the survival of the heroine in the rought past, with her thin knowledge. The humor helps a lot as it makes it pretty clear that nothing should/can be taken seriously, except maybe the budding feelings between the King and the high school girl.A lot happens and the SP is overall well paced, but I must admit that it took me several sittings to watch it because of a lack of investment in the fates of the main characters. It was pretty obvious where everything was going and the fact I saw similar stories in the past did not really help me in grabbing my attention. I felt no angst at all regarding the characters as the solid rom-com tone made it clear that no worries were expected from the viewer.
Acting was good and chemistry worked, even if probably not as much as I would have wanted. It was my first time seeing the leads and I cannot say they left me a super strong impression but it was a real pleasure to see Ahn Hyo Seop in his debut role, bringing eye-candy to the screen. The production was good and I quite enjoyed the OST with his modern songs, very fitting the "fun" vibe they were going for.
I would recommend this to people that are looking for an historical rom-com with a fantasy twist. If you enjoy back to the past romances like Scarlet Heart (much more serious and dramatic) and "Queen and I", this might be a good pick. It is very light with little surprise but it is a sweet watch.

Life is all about fruits and flowers ❤️
Not everyone may share the same perspective I do, which is why I choose to rate this drama an 9.5. It is not the kind of show designed to please a universal audience. Instead, it belongs to the slice-of-life genre—subtle, realistic, and emotionally grounded. It does not rely on sensational twists, exaggerated romance, or dramatic clichés. Rather, it captures life as it is: imperfect, uncertain, and yet beautifully hopeful. One of the strongest elements of this drama lies in the portrayal of the male lead. Although his father is a CEO, the narrative does not present him as someone who has achieved everything effortlessly. Instead of glamorizing inherited privilege, the drama explores his internal struggles, failures, and emotional growth. It emphasizes that comfort and opportunity alone do not guarantee fulfillment or success—human development still demands resilience, self-reflection, and hard work.
Equally inspiring is the female lead. In many dramas, love becomes a distraction that overshadows personal ambition, but here, her character stands as a refreshing contrast. She holds tightly onto her dreams, refusing to abandon her aspirations for the sake of romance. Her journey reminds viewers that love does not always have to mean sacrifice; sometimes it coexists with independence, ambition, and self-respect.
At its core, this drama portrays a timeless truth: life may knock us down repeatedly, yet brighter days do arrive. Through its characters and storytelling, it presents a compelling message of perseverance—that even after numerous setbacks, success and happiness are possible.
Admittedly, some viewers might find the drama slow or uninteresting, especially those who are unfamiliar with themes like business, trade, or economic struggle. But as a business student, I connected deeply with every aspect of it. The narrative resonated with my academic interests, my beliefs about ambition, and my understanding of how progress works in real life—not instantly, but gradually, through trial and persistence.
In the end, this drama might not be entertaining for everyone, but for those who appreciate realism, emotional maturity, and character-driven storytelling, it is an unforgettable experience. For me, it was not just a drama—it was a reminder that growth is possible, love doesn’t require self-abandonment, and after every fall, life eventually opens the door to something better.

Rising to Triumph of Love from the Abyss of Great Injustice
I love this drama so much. Both the FL and the ML suffered terribly from the hands of their own family. They lost their most beloved ones and where deceived and manipulated yet they rose from lies, deception and tragedies through their intelligence, determination and wise use of skills. Justice grinds so well at the end.I thought in the beginning that the issue of justice and retribution is only limited to the story of the FL but as the story enters into high pitch the ML himself is also subjected into suffering and pain to the point that he too is planning to exact revenge on those who murdered his parents.
It is also nice to know that the ML and the FL were close to each other from childhood but unlike in other dramas there are no flashbacks of memories showing them playing as kids. They didn't linger in the past. They built a new life together using the present and securing the future.
The FL is a great actress. She is very beautiful which is soft, weak and seductive but at the same time strong-willed, fierce, a lethal fighter and a master strategist. The FL played it well in a very convincing manner. I love strong FL. I am so tired and disgusted by weak FL who always need to be saved by the ML because they are so stupid and useless. So this is a bit of fresh air.
The ML on his part appeared so perfect in the beginning. He is super rich, very handsome, powerful and influential. He is at the top of the business world and the master even of the underground forces yet he too had his own share of pains and was also a victim of injustice. I love how the ML and the FL found strength through collaboration by helping and supporting each other and ultimately attained genuine love and happiness.
The FL is such a seductive and alluring beauty while the ML is like a royal prince in business suit.
