What happens when a Scorpio and a Capricorn get together (Again!)
This show was FAB. Not too many luls. Great twists! Even if you pin it down, there's always an extra detail to shock and delight. If you like angst, slow burns and bickering, this is the show for you. A very fun watch. I would recommend. I was screaming at the screen every other episode. This show is essentially what happens when a Scorpio man and a Capricorn woman are in a relationship. Their priorities are in completely different directions. No communication just assumptions than actions because they think they know the other person so well. If they didn't love each other so much this would be a problem. I mean, I too would find it difficult to get back together with the husband I thought was coveting after my brother's beloved wife and I was personally getting out of a 17 year situationship. The romance was slow and sweet, but well earned when it finally came. The banter was a nice break between angst and political scheming. The chemistry between the leads was SO good. I do feel bad she never got her year of rest and relaxation.
However, where they lost me is when it was time to pick sides. Everyone says "if they could go back in time, they would kill xyz". But when Rongqing does it, it's a problem. I may be biased because I agree with him. Hell, in any other show, he would be the hero. From his perspective, if he knows in 10 years, that prince will kill everyone who knows and loves. Why would he allow that to happen? Only a fool does the same thing twice and expect different results. On top of that, the only two people in the world who also have this information are completely willing to let it happen again. Moreover, helping support it. He must feel like he's going crazy. Now everybody cares about "free will" and "letting destiny take its course" after they made made the changes THEY wanted. He's an Aquarius so he's very fair even though they REFUSE to empathize or compromise with him at all. Like why is it illegal to try something new??? (which they lowkey end up doing anyway)

I'M SO PROUD OF ZHAO LUSI AND ALL THE CAST!
Tbh, I honestly didn’t expect this drama to air this year, but seeing Zhao Lusi take on such a mature and emotionally heavy role makes me so proud of her. She truly brought this character to life it feels like she’s personally going through every emotion, and that level of realism is rare. She’s always been known for her funny and lighthearted roles, but with this drama, she’s proven that she’s so much more than that. She’s shown incredible depth and versatility, proving all her haters wrong that she’s not just a one-type actress, she can handle any role beautifully!
I really hope one day she’ll have the freedom to explore even more diverse roles and work with different teams, because she deserves it. I’m just so proud of how far she’s come, and I hope we’ll all continue to support her no matter what! ❤️

A Promising Drama Undone by Its Ending
I was really disappointed with the way this drama ended. After investing in 53 episodes, I expected a stronger and more satisfying resolution, but the finale left too many unanswered questions and felt rushed and confusing. The pacing throughout the show sometimes dragged, and by the end, the story didn’t deliver the closure viewers deserved. There were also some character arcs that felt wasted or underdeveloped, and certain choices didn’t feel true to the personalities we had come to know. It left me feeling more frustrated than fulfilled.
The only reason I’m rating it a 7/10 is because I genuinely enjoyed the leads, Shen Li Ge and Liu Yi Long, especially in the earlier episodes. Their chemistry carried much of the show, but unfortunately, the ending undercut what could have been a powerful conclusion.

perfect
Really loved it (& i rarely give a 10/10, i gave Blue Whisper a 9.5)it does NOT have any annoying toxic-ness other than the early seconds...(which is kind of needed for the plot to unfold)
its all green flag everywhere, all the positiveness kyaa >A<
good for people who like to watch some nice paced romance and WITHOUT all the crappy feels or feeling the hate for some character. and NOT boring or too slow at all, at least for me i find the pacing well made.
and its ending was so perfect it gave everyone the satisfying pink bubbles and butterflies. and GOSH how hard is it to get a perfectly good ending in any drama??? either u feel like dang, it's too short or dang it dragged out / BE or open end.
*spoilers below*
slow burn romance, there is a small misunderstanding here and there but nothing of the BIG annoying issue. there is no toxic character, everything solves smoothly and the story focus more on their romance and life more than any annoying extras side character or anything. The big reveal where she realized that how much he did for her was so sweet and the pacing was perfect. I couldn't skip anything (i sometimes do with short dramas like i skimped thru some)
The fl and the "crush" girl even had a honest to honest H2H talk. None of the rude crappy attitude. No annoying thick-face "ex-crush/lover" that persistently don't get a clue. After a few rejection, he regretted, but he let it go... he knows he did wrong and that he missed his chance.
The system was very sweet too it helped the FL & ML to get their perfect ending and even went against the rules. I SUPPORT THIS SYSTEM <3 . come on system deserved the 101% love. I really hate redo's that erases memory or timeline, and this ending i love it because they remember what they gone thru.. at least together.. and it just make it so sweet and perfect.

Worth watching -Zhao Lusi is back!!
Great start! I really liked the acting of both actors, and Lusi’s subtle expressions just killed it. The chemistry between them is perfect, so natural and engaging that it keeps you hooked throughout. The direction and pacing also feel fresh, making the story even more interesting. The emotions are portrayed beautifully without being overdone, which makes the characters more relatable. Can’t wait to see how the plot unfolds in the upcoming episodes—it definitely looks promising! Was this review helpful to you?
in the end her sudden exit and comeback made absolutely no sense, and I wouldn't be surprised if she bolts again in the future. The whole thing felt like watching someone chase an ice statue.
What's frustrating is how differently they handled Hidden Love. There, they completely transformed Duan Jiaxu from the novel's moody, emotionally repressed character into a vulnerable, gentle lead who actually showed emotion. They created a balanced love story where both characters contributed equally—she healed his past, he secured their future, and even their physical intimacy felt mutual.
First Frost, however, stuck rigidly to the novel's characterization, especially the FL's personality, and it shows. This felt like a conquest story—ML finally 'wins' his prize after relentless pursuit. She barely contributed to their happy ending; it's entirely his journey and achievement.
They should've taken the Hidden Love approach and softened her character to create an actual partnership instead of this one-sided chase dynamic."

Cute and pretty faithful to the manga
This series cut out quite a bit from the manga, but it did a pretty good job covering the key points. The acting is good, the leads have great chemistry, and I think the story itself is a really interesting one. I'm enjoying how j-dramas have shown different types of couples and dynamics, especially when it comes to gender expression. I appreciate that the topic of beauty is genderless here.I wish we'd gotten more of the wrap up with Hikaru's parents, but it's clear they wanted to fit as much as they could in 12 episodes. At times, it felt a bit disjointed and the romance seems to skip some steps straight into the ending where they're suddenly ready to be at the altar. However, the manga sort of did that, as well. It was just a bit less noticeable with the number of volumes.
Overall, it's a pretty solid series. Not the most amazing romance j-drama I've seen, but it's adorable.

What if doctors treated us like people rather than maladies?
This drama touches the heart in many ways while challenging the medical field to see people as a whole. What if doctors spoke to us rather than at us? What if they took the time to find out about our habits and lifestyles instead of focusing on a single area to treat and dismiss? How would the sharing of ideas and abilities between specialties change things in diagnosing and treating the cause of ailment rather than singling out symptoms to treat and calling it a day? Does the value to society outweigh the cost for healing those who do not fit conveniently in a specialist box? The doctors in this series have their set biases based on their abilities and experience. This drama makes them question how they see patients and to set aside their specialties to see how they can discover the root causes of undiagnosed cases. How much effort to extend to those who fall between the cracks and do not conveniently fit in a specific category with established treatments to prescribe and send home. The entire cast did a wonderful job of making these cases come to life. They gave us slices of life to appreciate the patient and hospital staff. To see their struggles and the need to get passed egos to see to the needs of the patient. It gave hope for a future brand of doctors that wanted to see more than a given specialty, with a desire to get input from other specialists to accurately asses what the real problem is, and provide a course of action that would provide the patient relief if not a cure. I loved this drama showing out of the box thinking in creating better quality of life situations for brushed aside patients. I would love to see this type of medicine in action and not just in a drama. But til that day comes, this drama lets us ponder these questions and gives us hope that it might become reality some day. This drama covers serious issues of healthcare while giving respect and dignity to the patients and families dealing with them. We see the conflicts of specialists vs general practitioners and hints of how that bridge can be gapped if true discussion is on the table. It shows the family like relationships of medical professionals and how this both helps and hinders their dealing with patients. When doctors become patients, does their attitudes and mindsets change about how they practice medicine? It makes us wonder what advances we can make working together rather than focusing on competition to become the top in a specific field with no other goals. This gentle speaking doctor caused a lot of fuss in the hospital, but he calmly and steadfastly believed in the importance of people’s stories, and that unwavering effort was eventually rewarded with growing understanding from his colleagues. This is very well done as you laugh and cry with them through these life experiences. Was this review helpful to you?
Complicated yet a Beautiful Love Story
When I saw the teaser in Facebook I thought that this is just a regular Unfaithful Boyfriend, Suffering Girlfriend type of story. Instead, as the drama unfolds it became complicated and unexpected. The Male Leads, both the ML Manager-Producer and the 2ML the popular Actor are both very handsome. They genuinely care for the FL despite her weaknesses and limitations. I thought that the ML would be a heartless boyfriend who will choose the villain woman and will make the FL suffer abandonment, jealousy and emotional pain instead he gradually proved his love and fidelity to the FL by rejecting the scheming villain woman and competed for the FL's love with his very own brother. The 2ML besides being very handsome too is also caring, loving and protective of the FL. It's very difficult to choose between the two.
The FL is pretty and cute but it seems that her acting his lacking. She is a one sided actress. Her facial expressions are repetitive and no variety even in different circumstances. However, since she is presented in the story as one who has emotional weakness it is quite understandable. She is funny too. Her simple looks makes me remember San Cai of the Meteor Garden fame. She is simple and poor yet loved and respected by rich, handsome boys simply because of the goodness of her heart and her purity. Her simplicity is her best asset. Unlike the villain woman who is elegant but always presenting herself as a woman in heat.
The ups and downs of the story is very nice. It's quite difficult to determine whom she will finally choose at the end: the ML who was her original boyfriend or the actor who helped her. Glad that at the end she chose to be with the real love of her heart, the one who really makes her happy. I love happy ending. But I pity the guy who didn't get the girl.

skip last 12 min
I really enjoyed this drama. It had it all, story, actors, scenery and music. I loved both the leads. I’ve seen both in other dramas. I think this ml needs a romcom for me to watch. Anyway, I understand why they had to do that to the ending, butin my need for HEA I was able to pull the plug before my heart was broken. Thanks to the one on Facebook that told me to skip the last 12 min.
I will add that the sml made my heart break for him when he went wildly wrong. That’s a first for me

That Summer the Waves Brought Them Together
'That Summer', first things first, I really love the title. There's something about summer- it's fleeting, short-lived, but maybe that's what makes it all the more beautiful and of course, hotter too. A love named after that season, just like the season itself, feels like an escapade, you know a little world apart where everything is more intense, more emotional, and more unforgettable. And this series is really good- execution wise as well as plot wise.Davin, a prince who loses his memory after an accident, ends up being saved by Lava, a rebellious kid sent to live with his uncle for three months as a punishment. And that's where everything begins. Lava names the stranger "Wave" because, as he says, "The waves brought you to me." and their story quickly becomes a mix of bickering, teasing, and unexpectedly tender moments in between. Lava is a total tsundere- sharp, sarcastic, but secretly soft- and Wave, even without his memories, still has his princely charm and playful sass. And he is so damn cute. Like even when he is glaring at Lava, all I could see was cuteness. Their bickerings were hilarious but when they actually care for each other, it was genuinely heart melting. And after Wave and Lava finally acknowledge their feelings for each other, the story just gets sweeter and more layered. Their relationship blossoms from playful teasing into genuine intimacy, both emotionally and, at times, physically, but always in that heart-melting way. The cute bickering doesn't disappear- it just transforms into a comfortable, teasing language that only they share. Also, I absolutely loved the coming out scene of Prince Davin.
The side story with Lava's uncle Pheng and his doctor boyfriend Wut is sweet yet layered with it's own complexities. Wut's desire to live openly- no longer hiding who they are or what they mean to each other clashes gently with Pheng's hesitation and need for privacy. Still, instead of pushing, Wut chooses understanding Their relationship is filled with quiet but meaningful gestures. Their journey from hiding to being official was really worth watching.
Other side characters also add depth and fun. Tum, the wannabe influencer, is hilariously entertaining, and his interactions with Kratae, the kind nurse, creates a fun bickering dynamic. Also, the setting is gorgeous, the vibes are nostalgic, and the whole story just in a way sticks with you, at least it did with me. Recommended!!!

Great Show
I have read quite a few Omega verse novels and never thought that I'd get to see one in live action. The cast are doing amazingly in their portrayal of these characters. I wish the show was longer to be able to fit everything in without rushing. I am nearly done with the novel and am very satisfied with how vlose the stuck woth the original source. Thanks to the Nongjiang sisters for picking these amazing guys and wish them more success. Was this review helpful to you?
Drama drought fixer
“If you want to seize every chance to change things around, never pin your hopes on someone else”.This line from 3rd episode I feel is not only reflective of her drama character but i feel applies to what we’ve seen her experiencing in her life. As Xu Yan, she’s the neglected child, having to rise to her ideal through own hard work. In her personal life, she fell sick to a very serious disease that left her nearly vegetative with a recovery that was harrowing. On top of that, she has been battling her agency that she’s made known have treated her badly. As fans, she’s missed on the screen. This drama though, filmed before her illness has been the great anticipation. Throughout the year, teasers have spread about its release. Without promotion, it appeared. Now it’s on fire, spreading wildly. Her dedication to her art is evident as this has risen to some ground breaking firsts. Its popularity also is a result of people who have come to support her. Kindness begets kindness. Her love for people, even when it’s inconvenient (putting her vulnerable recovery publicly to bring awareness to her decease, compensating cancelled events, bringing attention to village farmers products resulting, and so much more). Zhao Lusi shines her light that transcends not just in china but globally. Her actions is her agency, her cure, her humanity.
The reason this not so new plot line is doing so well is the leads of course. This is a great pairing. They really do compliment each other and if anyone has any complaints about age, I think it’s silly. Just as the pairing for Dating in the Kitchen was great, this is just as well. Though it’s not my trade, I’d think it’s how you approach a script. You read it, study it, adjust as needed to make it work. Thus, the big success of both dramas with age gap. Directing is superb as well. Each episode is filled with connections and not just fillers. Script writer is commendable. The dialogues are understandable with the right amount of lines adoptable and adaptable to life. A good script needs good actors to make its mark. Check, check, and check. Supporting cast are just as commendable. All around a wonderful cast brings a delightful fluttering worth romance worth the anticipation.
I’m up to ep 22 currently and nothing is disappointing this viewer. I’m glued in to every word, emotions, actions and it’s my dopamine after each day of work. (Sadly it’s coming to an end too fast). It really is very good. Join in.

What amazed me most is how the drama balances passion, determination, and romance in such an inspiring way. It’s not just entertaining, but also relatable, leaving you with both joy and reflection.
If you’re looking for a drama that will make you smile, feel inspired, and fall in love with every episode, Love Ambition is a must-watch. Don’t miss the chance to experience Zhao Lusi at her finest—you’ll be hooked from the very first episode!
