Had potential, but ultimately untenable

I was excited to watch this because Lee Min Ki is generally great and the 8.4 rating was impressive. Sadly, it didn't live up to the hype. This is one of those dramas with an identity crisis. It wants to be too many things and only succeeds at a couple of them and bombs the rest. The main thing that it bombed was having a mature lead couple with an honest relationship. It had potential at first, but in the last 4 episodes the FL became soooo unlikeable; just a mopey insecure girl playing games with the ML's head. My eyes were rolling so hard my head hurt. I hate it when dramas purport to go against the status quo or champion feminism but then so quickly undermine that. The thing is, if you write a tsundere character, you have to live with the consequences. If she really loved him as he was, then it was totally ridiculous for her to BREAK him like that. It was sad to see him become such a mess. In fact, he had already done all of the things that she would qualify as evidence of his affection for her. They should have just written it so that someone told her about the things he'd done (e.g. the book he got, or how he beat up the assistant director, since that is apparently the kind of gesture that would please her.)
Anyway, just as others have said, the supporting cast was exceptional! Love CEO Ma; it was always a relief when he was in a scene. And Bo Mi was a real treat too. Since the subplots were pretty engaging, I can muster a 6.5 for this otherwise disappointing drama.
Also, LMK has a fantastic full-toothed grin, so it was a real bummer that his character only smiled like twice.

Drama of the year!!
I had no idea who Lee Mi Ki was, but I liked his performance, I like Jung So Min so i gave a try to this drama, and I fell in love with everything. I liked the plot and the ost was amazing and well placed in the situations.
I love the story. It's soft, calm...with a good amount of comedy. I liked the various relationships in the story: the problems, the thoughts of each one, the equalities or differences and their evolution.
In the end this made me reflect and see the various ways of thinking and do things
Love this <3

started out strong but the ending is awful

This one started off with the promise of a refreshing plot, with innovative characters but as episodes went by, all the usual k-drama plot devices kept showing up and after episode 10, I couldn’t help but skim over. There were two positive points for this: the openness of the characters when talking about s*x and Soo-Ji and Mr. Ma’s relationship.

Thoughtful

It's been a long time since such a drama hit close to home and made me question everything I thought about career, marriage, and life in general. There was so much to love here and it's rare to see two characters that are just so respectful of each other's space and opinions.

If anything, however, I wish the back end of the drama had the same oomph factor. It felt like the story gave up some of those life lessons that hit me so hard in exchange for the romantic plotlines, and as a twenty-one-year-old, questioning the institution of marriage just wasn't something I could relate as much to.

CEO Ma is the MVP

this story is full of laughs and some hard sad moments! perfect to watch of you are fan of Jong so min! again she delivers a master full acting but this time CEO Ma, is the MVP ! he is the most charismatic and reliable character, delivers serious moments, has the best dialogues and it's the most mature yet child character, I'm so happy with his ending, he was the only one to have something to say to each of the involved characters that really help them, woo su-ji made the best choice with him!!

Enjoyed it but the end sucked.

Enjoyed the show in the beginning with the three couples. The bra couple was funny and felt real. In the final episodes when she finally came back I wanted him to tell her, "I'm married". Yes, I did not wanted them to end together. I hated how selfish she was. She never expressed her feelings. If she would have communicated better there would be no need to be so cruel. Now I'm watching Alchemy of Souls and I can't stand to see her face. She still has the same wooden look. I don't think I'll ever like her as an actress.

Even if this life seems like a failure, still always try your best

Just like the computer, with the presence of a virus, sometimes there is nothing left to do but reformat and reboot.

This drama scores a home run right in the core of my being. I have given up long ago on the notion that men can read minds. The idea that the person whom we consider or have the potential to be our lifelong partners should know how we women operate. Women often thought that men know what is on our minds all the time and how they should react to any given situation.

Well, I have given up on that fact. The truth? Men are NOT mind-readers. They would rather have us tell them what exactly we want. They would prefer us to include details after details. Frustrating as it seems, we merely could not accept that for some reason.

Women want to be swept-off on their feet. We triumph on every small victory when our significant others give us things even before we tell them and when they say the right things at the right moment. For some, these thoughts would only remain a fantasy, an after-thought at best.

It is one of the reasons why I love Lee Min Ki's character, Nam Se Hee, so much! He based everything, including his decision making on data. According to him, data does not lie. But the way you use data and interpret them and use them, that is the crucial part. I have to hand this to the writer. I think she and I think alike. To save relationships, we soberly have to compromise. It may be arduous to fathom, its REALITY. As the famous book quotes: "Men are from Mars and women are from Venus."

THOUGHTS to PONDER
In relationships, whenever asked your ultimate goal for your significant others, more often than not, this is the answer:

I like to see you smile.
I want to make you happy.
I cannot live without you.

Contrary to the purpose of the question, none of the subjects of the sentences talks about the other person. Instead, all sentences started with the word "I" when suppose to be the center of attention, is YOU.

Because This Is My First Life (2017) - Everybody knows how I like this drama, basically I posted lines of this drama before. This drama is my favorite Korean drama, period. I just love everything in this drama. The lines are awesome and hey I just love how the romance of the main characters developed. I like that there are basically 3 stories in one drama because it doesn’t focus on a romance of 1 couple but 3 couples with different situations. It’s just fun and heartwarming. I like that the script was well portrayed by the actors in a fun way. It was both an educational and hilarious drama for me. I kept repeating the scenes which I like in this drama, like my 6th time watching it today. Hahahaha. Favorite scene includes the conversation between Se Hee and Ji Ho’s mom before the wedding. I don’t think I could ever get enough of this drama. To more dramas like this!

Slowly creeps in your heart

This is the very definition of a feel-good drama genre for me. The characters have enough depth for you to relate and sympathize with, and they were very effective with the subtle comedic touch.

The subplots were very well-executed, and this made the main plot more rich and entertaining.. At the same time, the main plot and subplots blended effectively in which the main couple weren’t there to overshadow the other couples, but instead showcased the beauty of their own stories.

This is a really enjoyable watch! It’s a simple and straightforward story that slowly entices you until you just can’t help but watch the remainder of the episodes.

horang and wonseok rs

this drama is quite good, i've actually watched it like 6 times now. i kinda like the trope of jiho and sehee fake dating (??) and their relationship is okay, it's not that toxic (in my opinion) from a 2017 drama compared to others from that time. jiho gets mad and hurt from things sehee says after actually dating but i think it's okay since she's starting to feel something for him and sehee keeps seeing her as his tenant.

but i think horang is like the main problem here, she wants to marry wonseok so bad and she acts in a way that it's kind of annoying even idk

The things i loved most about this drama:
Deep conversations, stories behind every character, Fact about love and marriage, friendships, relationships. I took almost 8days to finish this drama just because understand and feel each and every line of their conversation.Every characters relationship and their thoughts, emotions were incredibly amazing. Maybe u'll get bore sometimes but still end of the every episodes you will realize 'it's amazing '.Because this is all about LIFE.

"If there's a way to reach someone's heart, there must be somewhere we should meet at the end."

And end of the drama all i can say "This is weirdly best drama ever".

The poem i loved
"The coming of a person
is, in fact, a tremendous feat.
Because he
comes with his past and present
and
with his future.
Because a person’s whole life comes with him.
Since it is so easily broken
the heart that comes along
would have been broken ? a heart
whose layers the wind will likely be able to trace,
if my heart could mimic that wind
it can become a hospitable place."
#Happywatching.
