please watch this show, the ML and FL interactions are amazing!!!

I started this on netflix not expecting much, but it has quickly become one of my favorite kdrama of all time. I don't think this is a show that will appeal to everyone, but the interaction between the FL and the ML is amazing, and the way their relationship progresses throughout the show is incredible. You can literally see and feel and hear as the characters develop and mature over the course of the show with regards not only to love and marriage, but also life, work, and relationships in general. Although I wish more attention could have been placed on the FL's actual writing career, because I feel it was sort of tossed to the side part way through, overall I really really enjoyed the drama. In fact, I was so bummed when I finished the last episode even though it wrapped everything nicely, because there was nothing more to watch and my time with the characters was over.

My friend told me she was watching it and I gave it a try relunctantly, but I was surprised. The main story is interesting to keep you going, but being involved in her friend's relationships as well made it even more exciting to watch. You're able to see three different couples go through situations, and they really make you think how you'd react as well. I think it focused a lot on the chemistry on the couples, I think the all had really good chemistry which is rare to see, that all the couples of the show really make you believe their love. Very funny and pretty light-hearted compared to other dramas.
I enjoyed throughly, even though some episodes were a little plotless.

Relatable but not inspiring

I should start this by saying...I really liked this drama. The story is average, the acting is average, everything is super average. But that's also kind of what this show is about. The male and female lead both were very relatable to me on a personal level, so I enjoyed watching them interact and develop a story together. There was nothing groundbreaking, awe inspiring, or super memorable, but it was a very solid drama that I 100% do not regret watching.

The awkward interactions between the two leads were cute and interesting and I never felt like they weren't giving enough of themselves to the story. The only annoyance I had with this show was the pretty modern-typical "girl is suddenly independent and F's off to do her own thing for awhile but comes back to the dude eventually" thing. In a lot of dramas that do that I feel very WTF THIS MAKES NO SENSE about it, but in this drama they pulled it off in a way that made complete sense and so while I didn't like it, I also understood why it happened.

The best, absolutely best, part of this drama is at the end when the girl comes back after "finding herself". The male lead delivers a really great performance when she returns and I found myself 100% on board with his reactions and their reconciliation efforts. I was really really moved right along with the female lead by his emotional response after he'd held himself coldly together for so long. It seemed right to me that his emotional behavior was unsophisticated and child-like. I would have been very disappointed if he'd had a mature response since the premise of his character was emotionally stunted and emotionally immature.

I wouldn't watch this again because there's nothing new I would get from it, but I am glad I watched it. It gives me hope that emotionally stunted people can find their match someday!

Recently, I'd been watching a lot of heavier and darker dramas, but it seemed like I needed a break from it. I'd always scrolled past this drama on Netflix but never really thought anything of it but wow, what I've been missing!

This drama was sooooooo good. Perhaps because this story revolves around an age where I am in life right now, I felt very connected to each of the characters. The acting was amazing on all parts, and I was constantly rooting for each of the three couples. Strangely enough, my favorite duo was actually the Won Seok and Ho Rang couple as they made me laugh and cry ( the latter of which I NEVER do while watching TV ).

The drama touched on issues that are so real, but the way it was presented was elegant and not trivial. The storytelling was done in a way that allowed the audience to really get inside the head of each of the characters, often showing the backstory of why a character reacted in a certain way and the thought process behind it. Definitely a must-watch!

One of my favorites

I watched this while was airing it and I completely loved it. The way this drama got me waiting for each episode every week talks for itself.

Both main leaders are amazing, thanks to this drama I learned to love the male leader as an actor and I've been watching all his dramas since I meet him here and I think we all know the female leader, playfull kiss is one of the national anthem for old kdramas fans, its a clasic.

Tbh when I started this drama i didn't expect nothing, but as time went on it became really good as already said, plot is great, acting is great and ost is great so if you like I dont like u and u bother me to lovers plot (just for call it that way) this is for you.

To me it is perfect from the start to the end, all the characters played very well and the drama is very meaningful, this drama is very pleasantly surprised with no dramatic!
I watched many Korean dramas but this is the first time I remember the rhythm of the OST music, you feel very delightful when you hear it
I like the most about this drama is about women rights in a gentle and natural way but effective, it also gives you a new look about marriage which is very realistic , it helps a lot not just for who have not marriage but also for who are already in marriage

This drama overwhelmed me with its strong beginning but slowly let up as it got closer to the end. This drama really defied Korean cultural norms flat out and emphasized real life struggles of harassment and sexual assault. The two main leads, Jung So Min and Lee Min Ki, had a good chemistry and did great kiss shots. The 2nd lead couple was the least problematic, and 3rd leads were just all over the place. The episodes 14 and 15 were the worst out of the series. I understand our FL was trying to make the ML feel emotions, but that was just a douche bag move.

50/50 either to drop or continue watching

I am currently watching this Kdrama. However, it does get boring with slow plot pace. Don't get me wrong, I love slice of life drama but I am not into this drama tbh. the FL lead is okay but the ML is so damn boring guy. He don't talk much, no smile, no expression. He basically like a robot programmed by himself to be boring.

The story is good tho. Even I'm at EP 6, I feel like this is a very good drama. It does shows the complexity of life and how different people's perspective does affect others. Such a refreshing drama.

I don't know if I still early to give some review on this kdrama, but I don't think that I can continue watching this. I feel tortured when watching the ML act like a soulless person in an IT company. However, the other couple story is the best and added some flavour in this kdrama.

Oh yeah, the other 2 couple imho outshine the ML and FL story. The have the sense of humor among them compared to ML and FL. So yeah that's about it. Will so how and when I will continue to watch this Kdrama.

PS: I feel like dropping this kdrama when FL decided to "cheat" on her "husband". I don't like the idea of cheating as I am strongly against it. I can't stand watching people get cheated on so yeah I think thats it.

Let's start with me kicks off this drama after reading good reviews from people who obviously watched the first few episodes.
I jump into it and see if this rom-com drama will come to my liking  (I've been a mystery-thriller freak lately, lol) But since Bomi is here, I might aswell see this drama for good.

The title gives me the idea of the protagonist living his/her life so YOLO.
I have NO EXPECTATION. If it's good then I'll continue to watch, but if not I will put on-hold and eventually drop.

REVIEW:

The drama is refreshing. You can say breathe of fresh air from the cliche romantic-comedy kdramas nowadays. The male lead is a weirdo program analyst, and the female lead is an aspiring-writer-who-doesnt-own-a-house-after-having-house-for-her-famiy. There were three couples over-all into which you will also love, you can look forward to Jisoo and CEOs story (she deserve a drama of her own, lol) and the 7-year-couple but not married yet. At some point you thought the character relates your life. We all need that, a relatable drama.

For once and for all, I love Bomi's character Bomi.

I also like how the sense of this drama. There is something different on how they deliver the flow of the story. I think it is a good thing that they gave us a hint of what should we look forward for the particular episode by giving us a title each time. ex: ep.10 because this is my first time having inlaws. It gives us the idea that we will see something big between Jiho and her inlaws, we will give more attention to what they are expressing at the moment.

Overall, the drama is recommendable.
It is fun, fresh, cute and relatable. Good Job!

everything about this drama is so beautiful.

I lost count of how many times I've rewatched this drama over and over again. This is hands down one of the best dramas I have ever watched and has always been in the top list of my all-time favorites. The plot, the acting, the soundtracks, the background stories for each character; everything had successfully depicted the struggles of many grownups out there. This drama is very heartwarming and it will be my forever comfort drama when I get tired of life. I love this drama with all of my heart.

Honestly, the title alone is brilliant. I can imagine many people like the love story of the main leads. Jung So Min plays a similar role in "Playful Kiss". There were many close shots of her beautiful face that shows so many emotions. Like in "Playful Kiss" my heart was beating like crazy. There is something about this actress ... I cannot explain it. I felt the same in "The Smile has left your eyes" even though she plays a completely different role in that drama.
Lee Min Ki did a good job too. I didn't know him before, but he is very charismatic. I just hope he will eat something, because the actor was underweight in the series and looked really sick. I don't know if he had to lose weight for a different role, but it was horrifying.
Enough about the leads. The love story is touching and beautiful. But what I really appreciate about this drama was the message behind it. This was about the question what you do with your life and of course you make mistakes and are clueless, "because this is your first life". Marriage is something that is changing your life completely. Will you marry or not? Is it better to be alone or not? How will the environment react? Will you lose your friends, because you don't fit in anymore when you're not married? Or will you gain completely new friends? What I really appreciated how the mother was so desperate when she heard her daughter would marry. She wanted a different life for her. It was obvious that being married means (for a woman) to give up her dreams. Even though the end wasn't surprising (this is a Korean romance drama after all), I just loved how they showed us so many different ways how people find happiness and love. I really enjoyed the side couples so much. At the very end I was more interested in their story.
As a single woman in my 30s who doesn't plan to marry and have kids, I must say this was extremely enjoyable, smart and in a way comforting.
The acting, the storytelling, the production - it was great.

Solid

beautiful casting to a beautiful yet mature story. female's character is loveable and it is also relateable. everything about it is so good including musical score.

i just rewatched it multiple times but i am not yet rewatching it full. i wonder why the lead female left and ... but she said it was because of love. love being the priority.
