Here's to breaking taboos; it's harder than you'd think.
SITR is all prancing in puddles & laughing for the 1st few eps. Enjoy it. Lightening, thunder & pain are in the forecast. This duo is going against the norm, & mom is not merely the norm, she's a veritable Joseon. HER daughter (Son Ye-Jin from Crash Landing on You, is Yoon “Jin”-a) will marry a 🔝 prospect from a MO💲T respectable family. He (Jung Hae-In, from While You Were Sleeping-7.3, is Seo Joon-”Hee”) is all abt breaking taboos. He means dating his noona. His declaration is loaded, as taboos are being hacked to pieces & falling all around Jin. She can't make a move w/o stepping on something.
SITR is aka Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food - A Noona is an older sister by blood or close relationship. In Asia, age is status. It's a big deal, but this isn't a May/Dec tryst; it's more of a June/July one. The early eps cover the intros & how they fall in love. The rest are the fallout between them & everyone they know. Especially her mother. Then it's the fallout between the 2 of them from the fallout. The 1st part of the show is wonderfully warm fuzzy-fun, & the 2nd part is soul-crushing. My main complaint: How dare they give us a 30-second wrap-up & leave so ma wind⁉ Are we meant to infer everything? I don't want to! I felt absolutely robbed at the end. They need a follow-up movie to complete this story.
Jin & her brother, Seung-ho, grew up friends w/ the Seos, Hae & his older sister, Kyung-seon/SKS (Jang So-yeon, who is excellent). When the Seos are orphaned, the Yoons quasi ”adopt” them, so they're practically part of the family. Hae moves to the States for work. In ep1 he's back. Jin has been rising up the ranks of the coffee shop chain that employs her, while her friend, SKS, manages one of the chain's stores.
Hollywood has truly forgotten how to do romance. They traded it in for cheap titillation long ago. In SITR they percolate slowly. He's probably had a thing for her for yrs, but she's just realizing he's a man. She has to get beyond seeing him as that little boy. Hand holding took until ep3's close. The buildup is beautiful. Masterful. They long to touch & alternate posing hands where the other might take notice. He makes a few halting & failed attempts to put his arm around her. They don't just strip off their clothes & jump in the sack: That's anti-romance; it's just lust. There's a difference between lust & wanting to do it w/ somebody w/ whom one is deeply & emotionally connected. One robs you & one nourishes you. He says: "I'll never let you go. It took ages to hold your hand." People! LADIES! Is it worth the wait? It's up to you to decide, but you won't know unless you've tried holding back until the emotional commitment is there.
Next, they're running around hiding like kids. She's sneaking out at night & stuffing her bed to make it look like she's still there. It's cute. They got to know each other as kids. It's all in the family, so acting like kids could almost be expected, & she gets a taste of the childhood she was denied. It's also portentous. She is afraid of her mother. She is not free.
That drops us off at the show’s themes. Foremost is the toXic mother. She thinks parenting is about her. The 1st time we meet Oma, she's soaking Jin in acrimony. Mom's friends brag about their kids’ friends & spouses, while her own daughter hasn't given /her/ anything to brag on. “All your friends are married & look at you. What's wrong w/ you?” “Maybe their mothers were nicer to them,” is Jin‘s acerbic response. The acid leaks out more often as the show goes on. As long as the dude is rich, Oma doesn't care what happens to her daughter. In SITR, marrying a CEO is NOT the happy ending; SITR features anti-hero Hae.
Stand By Your Man repeats In the background. Everybody sees him as the kid-brother’s-kid-friend. She grows to respect him as a man, but she must stand before she can stand-by-her-man. I haven't unlocked why that man, Jung Hae-In, is SO delish. No doubt he's handsome, but not the most. It's not like we can smell pheromones through the 📺. Can we? It seems that his superpower is shooting pheromones over the TV waves. That's a cool superpower. He's not even my type. All I can do is smh. The 1st words he says are: ‘while you were sleeping’. That's just adorable.
Writer Kim Eun also has One Spring Night to her credit, & Ahn Pan Seok directed both. These two incorporate a complexity of symbolism & insight into their work. All that rain… Is it the tears she never let herself cry? The rain is crying for them. Crying for the upbringing she's suffered & for the Seos who were orphaned. Do we love her? No. She's not honest, she soaks up the love but doesn't return it, & she has a big selfish streak. She's on her way to adapting Oma's values, b/c she's never had the energy to fight them. When he comes into her life, everything happens at once. Things tip sideways, a deluge overflows the spout, & it's more than she can process. I wanted to take her head & pound it into the ground when she doesn't simply free herself. The director might have been illustrating how we lose patience w/ people. We often fail to offer the lowest common denominator of understanding. It's reminiscent of Kafka's Metamorphosis. Gregor isn't doing much, other than lying around & being contemptible, so, bring out the Raid! We're reminded to be honest but patient. Growth takes time.
“Toxic" simply means narcissistic. Now that the condition has been categorized correctly, it's easy to spot 〰It's everywhere〰 I have friends & family w/ deep wounds from narcissistic parents. Pride is a homewrecker & a sneaky liar. The better we have it, the higher we believe we are floating. Mom married a man who had moderate success. That small taste gave her appetites that could never be satisfied. I learned in the pumpkin patch how easily parents succumb to the power & pride delusion. On a school trip, my 3 y/o picked a small crooked 🎃. Oh, no. “Put that down.” I directed him to chubby round ones; but that wasn't what he wanted. I checked myself: “It's just a 🎃. Why do I care? What am I doing right now?” Pivoting, I told him to pick whatever 🎃 he wanted. This time he selected one that was smaller, more crooked & part green. On the bus back, I overheard how other moms oversaw their kids’ 🎃 selection. Once home, I sat him on the front step & took his picture holding it up. He was beaming. His dad commented that he is compassionate & identifies w/ the small outcasts. And what's wrong with that? I almost smooshed that part of him. Parents must give direction & at times rule by fiat - but only when absolutely necessary. At every opportunity, we should allow kids to make choices & grow into their own personality. It is not about YOU. You are supposed to be raising them to LEAVE. Your job is to develop a useful, caring, responsible & independent member of society.
Jin is none of the above. She's out in the rain alone. The blind date her mother fixed up isn't there. No ☂. No shelter. No warmth. That's where her mother’s path will leave her. Why does she put up with it?
Good-girl disease.
There was never a way for Jin to withstand mom's steamrolling. She had to subjugate herself & put up a front. All she knows is phoniness & being controlled. So, Jin can't stop lying. Everything's fine, is what she projects, as she's fraying at the seams. She can't hold up the ACT anymore, but she's such a chicken. Oma immersed the whole family in her acid rain. Seung-ho & dad attend to mom during one of her fits while saying: “It sucks to be a man”. It sucks to be in a relationship w/ anybody who abuses power. Women hate it when men do it, but it is no less destructive when women seize power in the family & abuse it. Next, Jin starts to treat Hae like she treats herself. She's pounded herself down to nothing to fit into the space her mother allowed, & she unconsciously expects him to do the same thing. What unfolds between Jin & SKS, and also mom & the Seos is agonizing. Jin's brother will admit he’s contemplated suicide. The pressure Koreans put on their kids has manifested itself in the highest suicide rate, by far, in the developed world. Instead of pushing our kids to bring us glory, we should simply teach them to never stop improving themselves. Consider Iiving a small life. Have enough, but not too much. Take time to enjoy family & friends, because that is living. Practice gratitude & contentment as they will lead to true fulfillment.
No matter the upbringing, we are responsible for our actions. We are born 100% selfish. Maturity is learning to become unselfish, & maturity is not in fashion these days. Many western kids have no idea what humility is. They think it's some vague malady. Our self-absorption leads us to be too forgiving & generous w/ ourselves while we turn a harsh view to the outside - other people's problems always seem easy. We should be exactly the opposite. Nothing is level. There is no horizontal existence. Not really. We all have different DNA, gifts, deficiencies, talents, challenges, parentage, upbringing… nobody is coming from the same place. There's really nothing to compare. We exist in lies we tell ourselves, we chase after meaningless & empty things, & we generally lack compassion because we love to feel superior to others by comparison. As Solomon said: It's all vanity.
Director Ahn utilizes ☂ of varied colors as messages. ☂ Red/Stop (passion?) ☂ Green/Go (grow?)… In the end, umbrellas are cast aside like bad taboos. They'll brave the elements and rising pressure together. Let it pour!
QUOTES📢
Passion is necessary in a relationship; without it, it would be disrespectful to the other.
Being nice isn't something to be proud of. It's rather a flaw, you idiot!

The greatest irony of all is when mom accuses the kids she previously claimed as her own of being morally empty because they have no parents! At the end, it's all crumbling away. There is nothing more important than the lie Oma tells herself about her own importance.
I know people want the big blow up with the mother. That's her mother. She fed her, carried her in the womb, & took care of her as a baby. That's a debt that can't be repaid. It's good that she's leaving, but it's good that Jin's leaving on positive terms. The blow up would have had her mom's back up. The way she left has her mom sobbing. The guilt’s flooding her. It's too easy to judge mom. She's entirely responsible for toxifying her family. However, mom is showing the residue from being brought up the same way. Mom was truly kind to the Seo siblings. She had true affection for them, but her pride would not allow a marriage. Pride is the nastiest flaw, that everybody has, that no one admits.
We live in a world where people want to express their rage. Rage feeds rage. Now people will rage at others for not being as rageful as they themselves are. That's not everybody's way. Frankly, rage doesn't do anything. It just makes everybody upset. If one truly wants results one will try to use methods that actually work. Sometimes the softer touch will bring about change more than backing someone into a corner and almost forcing them to push back.
One Spring Night is done by the same creative team. It isn't as good as SITR, but it's a worthy folow up as it continues with similar themes. It's like a stamp without fresh ink, so it looks the same, just slightly faded.

It was a DRAMA NOT KDRAMA
It just felt an incomplete drama in the end.starting was pretty good and acting from all the actors was excellent too. But jina's mom and her thoughts are the problem. And for me in the ending when Jun Hui left to U.S jina just started dating in the time of just three months and it felt like disgusting thing to do just in a short span of time. It's my opinion. And at last everything was left incomplete. I would say that it was a ridiculous drama and especially it was actually a DRAMA and not a KDRAMA in my opinion. I would not suggest to watch this drama,if you have anger issue and not like betrayals at all for any reason. For me it's just one of the bad drama I have watched till now but also not worst. It's all MY OPINION.Was this review helpful to you?

Could of been better but I still recommend this
Everything was amazing but the stupid mother. The ending could have been better but they focused on the mother being a social climber too much and the male coworkers sexually assaulting their female employees. Jin Ah's mother was too much, she was mentally, verbally, emotionally, and physically abusive towards everyone. She was self-aware she was a bitch and a snob. She didn't care who she stepped on and pissed off. All she cared about was connections and becoming rich and powerful. She even told Joon Hee that's all she cared about which made her even worse than I expected. She was so caught up with marrying up in society she didn't care how her family felt. Everyone else was ok with Jin As and Joon Hee's relationship either straight away or they just came to terms with it eventually but Jin Ah's mother flat-out refused and made everyone miserable. Even when Jin Ah's gets cheated on by her long-term almost fiancée she kept trying to pressure Jin Ah's to take him back, she is also misogynist she would excuse if he did something bad and be like that's what men do they mess up but you make up. It was so disgusting to see her mother be such a bitch throughout the entire series. Poor Jin Ah had to deal with so much abuse not only from her ex-bf, her mother and her male coworkers. The mess was almost too much almost taking away from Jin Ah's and Joon Hee's relationship. They ended up breaking up cuz of Jin Ah's mother and her messy work problem, Joon Hee was trying to get Jin Ah to go with him to get relocated for work but she turned him down. So we get a time jump and they finally get back together so we do get a happy ending but it's just so ridiculous how much her mother made everyone's life so miserable, you would think Jin Ah was a child but she was almost in her 40s. Like I understand different cultures and social norms but this was insane, I'm surprised her husband just didn't file for a divorce she was that unreasonable. Even their son Jin Ah's brother Seung couldn't take it anymore and told their mother that if she continued to harass Jin Ah she would possibly take her own life cuz of how abusive and stubborn she was to force her family to get rich and be part of that society. Like right before Jin Ah and Joon Hee broke up she kept telling Jin Ah that she couldn't wait for her to go on more blind dates she wanted to arrange and meet a rich wealthy man. She completely ignored what her son said cuz she is so self-absorbed with becoming wealthy again I am surprised her husband hadn't divorced her. You could tell how fed up everyone was with her bs. It was so bad that Jin Ah had to finally get her own place which again I understand in Asia living with your parents until you're married hell even when they are married it's normal to still live with them, but she should have moved out sooner knowing her mom was this difficult even before he ex-bf cheated on her. You see her brother mention it a few times they all know how difficult their mother is. Besides the bs you have to watch with Jin Ah's mother Jin Ah's and Joon Hee's relationship is super cute and they have amazing chemistry you basically don't see or feel the age gap which is only 10 yrs apart making him in his late 20s. This wasn't even the issue for the mother btw it was just cuz he was from a "bad family" and a "low rank" Joon Hee's father cheated on his mother so Jin Ah's mother didn't see him as fit to marry her daughter, I bet if he was rich and a son of a CEO she would have turned a blind eye cuz that's how she was with Jin Ah's ex. He wasn't rich or a son of CEO but he was becoming wealthy with his job/connections. Which Jin Ah's mother wanted. No one seemed to care about the age gap, the other thing that Jin Ah's mom kept bringing up was that she "raised" Hae In and his sister so they are "family" but she treated them like complete shit once she found out Jin Ah was dating Hae in. When Joon Hee and Jin Ah were together I just kept feeling butterflies and warm and fuzzy inside they were so cute together. I just kept getting lost in Hae In eyes and how handsome he is. So would I rewatch this probably not just because of Jin Ah's mother and when they get back together for me personally didn't feel satisfying, the ending was probably rushed like most of these dramas they focus on the drama on the leads while making someone a villain they don't focus on the ending until the money is running out so it feels half-assed. Would I recommend it maybe depends on who I'm talking to and they don't mind what I experienced as much. The relationship between Jin Ah and Joon Hee is good enough to tolerate Jin Ah's mother's abusive behavior but just barely. Was this review helpful to you?
The settings, photography and direction were truly wonderful. Son Ye-Jin's acting was as usual, the best.

A passionate romance that tugs at your heartstrings with a happy but lukewarm ending
I thought that this drama was just a romance between an older woman and a younger man, but I was proven wrong. In the first few episodes, we are given insight into the life of Yun Jin ah, 35 year old woman who is tired of dating and relationships, all the moments that she thought were love, weren't actually love. She dates guys approved by her parents but she still isn't happy with the relationships. We also see a glimpse of the life of South Korean women, and honestly now I understand why some women don't want to get married and have babies. After her boyfriend breaks up with her, she again meets her best friend's younger brother who has just returned from the US. But they both start to feel something for each other which is more than just affection.OST: The whole discography of the drama was in english, which surprised me a little but. Some songs really suited in some situations and really brought out the emotions of the scenes but after some time they became repetitive. I feel like there should have been more songs as at some places the songs just didn't suit the situation, context or emotions felt by the character.
CINEMATOGRAPHY: I saw some people talking about the cinematography of the show and it does stand out me at points, like those still shots of our main leads but at some point it felt a little longer, like they didn't make sense or add anything.
(MINI SPOILERS AHEAD)
STORY: The story in the starting was very satisfying, she breaks up with her ex and then finds out he was cheating on her, she takes her revenge. SJH and YJA start dating but SJH still has to deal with YJI's ex, which is really embarrassing for YJI. When her mom finds out about their relationship the story becomes repetitive, like it has come to a stand still and there is no progress. And even the ending felt underwhelming, there were so many points to be discussed yet there was no explanation given in the end, they were just plot holes in the story. SJH and JYI were in love but they didn't plan their relationship properly, they would take major decisions without consulting the other and didn't communicate their feelings, they hid things from each other. But overall it was a good drama, I wouldn't watch it again but I would definitely watch fan edits.
GOOD POINTS: Now some things I really loved about this drama are:
1. YJI's transformations after getting in a relationship with SJH. The way her personality changes and she starts speaking up against workplace harassment and even realises her mistakes in her previous relationships, i like that she changes for better and starts to prioritize herself. I didn't want her to hurt SJI but I think at some times she was really immature and at some times she was mature.
2. This relationship was YJI's best relationship, she had finally found a guy who actually loved her.
BAD POINTS: Some bad things that I didn't like in the drama:
1. I am sad Gyeong seon didn't get any boyfriend or husband till the end, sad but the reality.
2. SJI behaved like a possessive boyfriend at times and when he told her to run away to US, that was the most immature decision he took. How can he plan of going to another country without asking his partner?? And the way he behaved with his father was also childish, honestly if they didn't bring in his father the story would have progressed just fine.
3. I hate how the mom behaved all through out the series, she was a controlling mom who always wanted to win against her children, even if it meant that they were not going to be happy. She labelled her stubbornness as caring or thinking of their future but honestly, she was the most toxic person. Even after his son said he was going to commit suicide all she could say was that I am doing it for your sake, disappointing to hear that from a parent. During the starting I thought that the father was a better parent than her, but honestly not really, he was also like the mother. Causing trouble and making his wife angry. He even cheated on her but his wife still accepted him.
4. A break up was inevitable in their relationship, as they were not communicating properly. I would have thought that they were not going to get back together but the way they got back together surprised me. There was no improvement in their relationship, it felt like they were again going to make the same mistakes. Since we did not get to see much of their story after they got back together I can't really say anything.
5. I hated how the workplace harassment issue was handled. She was outcasted, and even demoted. And even then neither the senior manager nor the director lost their job or their position. They were still there even when she resigned. Why did the chairman wanted to look into these issues if he was not going to resolve them?? It just tells us that women can only speak up after a man's permission, but that doesn't mean anyone will listen to them.

One major thing that bothered me, like many other people, was the rushed ending. The whole new atmosphere that the drama gives off is totally different from the first 10 to 15 episodes. If you'd like to stay out of the unnecessary drama that any other 0815 drama can give you, watch only up until episode 10. If you do that, you can remember this beautiful drama as a good one, like it should have been.
Neglecting the last episodes, I can surely say that this is by far one if not the best dramas i have seen. The new style of telling their stories is really comfortable and pleasantly to watch. Even if you have to understand quite a lot of korean to understand it, since the subs either lack full translation or a correct sentence that would make sense... Sometimes i felt like it has been translated by google, but what can i say... i knew some korean so i'm fine.

A better soundtrack would have helped a lot.
### No Spoiler ReviewFirst. It's good to see a Noona romance not involving a high school student.
The shows potential lies in the women empowerment storylines. I believe this show would have been better sold as a story centered on Jin A, a woman trying to navigate her way through societal expectations. Something more in the tone of My Mister or Misaeng. It falls short of those shows in many ways, but the blueprint is there. The romance should just have been something that happens in Jin A's life, not define it (I want that for so many of romance stories I have seen). I love the relationship between the female characters here, especially Bo Ra and Jin A. Wish we'd have got more of that from the very start, including conversations that didn't center on the male characters.
But first there's the soundtrack. The show has many lingering shots which would provide an opportunity for the soundtrack to stand out, if only it was good. The score is quite good. However, the song choices ruins everything. Not only did they choose poorly composed music, with average melody and terrible lyrics, they had to reuse them multiple times in the show. It's another reason why I think the second half is kind of better, since it has less of that shitty music. Something I realized is that they didn't have a single Korean song. I feel anytime I have watched a show with English songs, it's often terrible. Should they have written better songs for the show, it would have been a lot better.
### Spoilers start here.
Having read some of the reviews on the show early on, I expected a huge dip in quality in the second half of the show. Other than the cliched evil mom, the show narrowing in on the workplace discrimination and sexual harassment plot elevates, if only for a bit. Many who must have picked up the show for the romance will probably end up disappointed. This is where the comparison to My Mister and the likes comes in. There's that hint of realism that you don't find in many shows. It's why I think the mom being against the relationship works for the story (It would have weird to have no one be against it when the first half focuses so much on hiding the relationship). That's not to say it was done well. I still think it went over the top and the lack of self-reflection or at least more insight to the mother's psyche has it teetering on the edge of the absurd. As much as I am praising the second half, I still think it is a worse than the first mostly due to the lack of consistency. The romance becomes repetitive with the couple having issues over the same mistakes. I was expecting a bittersweet ending given societal taboos, but I think the lack of proper communication between the couple ruins everything.
I give the story a 7 since I thought it was good but could have been better, starting with the side characters. We've already talked about the mom, but this applies too to the workplace characters and the rest of Jin A's family. The audience isn't given enough to root for or against them. This is what keeps the show as an average romance story rather than a great slice of life drama. When we think of the good slice of life stories, their success comes from having well developed characters. This show has only hints of it and it is not for a lack of time. The first part has so many slow scenes that could have been cut out to accommodate the other characters and plotlines. But we got the repetitive music instead.
I'd recommend the drama for the friendship between Bo Ra and Jin A but even that is hardly explored to be worth anyone's time.

High on Emotions & Intense romantic drama
Although I am not a sucker for romantic dramas, however this one really hit me hard to the point that during the last few episodes my Smartwatch started giving me alerts for high-stress levels due to acute anxiety! I almost forgot in the middle few episodes that I am actually watching a drama. The first three dramas are just enough to get you hooked and prep you for the rest of the rollercoaster ride of emotions.
The story articulation and the screenwriting throughout the 14 episodes were heartfelt. The screenplay did not feel rushed and touched on every aspect of emotion from every perspective. However, my anxiety rose in the final episode as I noticed the drama is about to end, and the lead protagonists are still not back together.
I somewhat felt a little disappointed in the ending. It felt a little subdued as it did not meet viewer (mine) expectations after riding such an intense rollercoaster ride. It felt like the ride came to an abrupt halt leaving all its patrons in a state of mixed emotion and confusion.
I would personally feel more satisfied if the last fifteen minutes of the finale could be rewritten to show more passion, tears, family and love. Honestly, this type of ending does not do justice to this beautiful drama.
Nevertheless, this drama has easily made it into my top list of all-time favourites. Not only because this is an excellent watch, but also because I could personally resonate with the story being from India, and having a love marriage with a girl older than me from different background. We also had to go through a similar situation with our families & social stigma but of course less drama.
I am writing this review just after ten minutes of binge-watching the entire drama overnight straight 23+ hours. This is my first ever review of any Korean drama, and I am still unsure why I felt compelled to write something. Perhaps to put my mind at ease.
Cheers

It was nice but I don't think I'll rewatch it
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it a lot. I just don't see it as something that I would watch again. It's more of a "I've seen it once, no need to see it again" type of show. In my opinion at least...The acting was really good and the story was captivating for a while. Honestly out of all of the Kdramas that I've seen this one was the most realistic one. No curses, no past lives and no rich person who spends a lot of money that seems to never end. There was that crazy ex bf who was trying to kill Jin A but that actually happens more than you think. It happened to a distant relative of mine.. poor woman.
The relationship between Jin A and Jun Hui was cute. They both changed for the better because of the other person. It did feel weird over time when Jin A started to keep things away from Jun Hui, things that weren't even that bad to talk about.
I hated the mom. She was CRAZY! It was so hard to find anything good about her. She still abused her family even though they were all adults. She just wanted things to go her way even if it meant that others weren't happy. The best words I could describe her as is a b*tch.
You should give this drama a try if you want, you might like or you might not. Who knows?

"Something in the Rain"The working title of the show was “Pretty Noona (girl who is elder to you) who buys me Food” which is pretty interesting itself. Son Ye Jin and Jung Hae In are in the lead roles in this drama. This show was one of the best Korean dramas of 2018 and it will definitely make it to the top 10 list of my favorite dramas. Half way through the drama I sit back and wait for the next episode to air. I have wait more than usual as I need subtitles to understand the Korean yet I do as gladly as I am in love with the show and the hero also. The couple is very cute despite of such huge age gap. This show name was inspired by couple Song Jung Ki and Song Hye Kyo as they have age gap and Song Hye Kyo used to buy meals to Song Jung Ki and the rest is history as the couple is married and have a kid too (separated now and I know it doesn’t make sense but sometimes most beautiful of the couples doesn’t remain the same). Well I like “Something in the Rain” title more as it goes with the vibe of the show and the romantic Rain scenes which makes your heart flutter.
The first episode of the show was hard to get by I just couldn’t take it but I m happy that I didn’t drop the show altogether because of the hero as I ve seen him in other shows and he can’t go wrong. So from second episode till now their chemistry is going great and that not just the reason I am watching this show. Love is a beautiful feeling and it makes you a better person and give strength to overcome all your difficulties is the thereof the show. Jin ah and Joon he have huge age gap despite of which they both harbor feeling for each other which makes them reluctant to pursue each other but they end up dating each other in secret from their family.
This show is not just boring romance but an amazing interesting relateable plot line which is fast paced but gets you to enjoy the emotions. Every part of a relationship is shown in the show, the ex boy friend drama, family restrictions, best friendship drama. The plot is not new yet it is great to watch how actors present it on screen. Jin ah is strong character and professional women; it’s great to see how she tackles her professional as well as personal life.
