Just watch for Luo Yunxi + Bai Lu, the rest is whatever
This is worth watching for Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu's chemistry alone. The business stuff is fine but I personally don't really care about that, the 2nd couple (Xu Li and Li Xiaochuan), nor the SML rival (Du Lei) at all. I just want to watch the main couple be cute together, and they definitely did not disappoint. They were cute and funny together and made my heart go pitter patter. Chemistry between the two leads is 10/10, everything else is 5/10 for me. It's better than a lot of modern cdramas, but I just don't care. I don't think things were poorly executed, don't get me wrong; modern office dramas with business dealings and jealous coworkers just isn't my jam, so keep that in mind that that lowers my ratings. I'm usually more of a costume-drama watcher; I just watched this because I wanted to watch LYX and Bai Lu make out some more since they were so great in Till the End of the Moon.I knew that, as with all dramas, after they finally get together, there would be other shenanigans to drive them apart. I was amused by some of the business dealings they had in the first 10 episodes and stuff about Li Xiaochuan's project (no spoilers), but otherwise only care about the main couple. Once they finally got together, I just read episode summaries to get an idea of what would happen, and skipped to the end.

funny and light-hearted
Very enjoyable romcom, the ML and FL are about to become my favourite all time couple! They are bright. Still, when i saw the FL ending up in hospital after breaking up with the ML, i was SOOO put off! It totally killed the mood for me. Will it ever be an end to this trope of the weak FL that cannot be without her man? No matter what actions come after this, this drama screwed it! Dont women have any value BUT being with a man? Silly me, i thought this was a modern drama, but it seems the screenwriter and director are still stuck in the past. Remote past.The second FL is saving a lot of watching time.
NOTE: The dog is really cute, but still it breaks my heart to see a living creature condemned to live in a 4-wall cage. WARNING: Dogs are NOT toys! Please stop this nonsense of raising pets just for comfort!!

Screamed my entire head off during the entire drama!
This drama is too exhausting for me. I am either crawling under the bed with glee or I am screaming from all the second hand embarassment. Let's start with the plot. It's about a girl who can't cry because she was allergic to her own tears! When she cries , she goes into a shock that I am thinking is equivalent to someone having an asthma attack and someone needs to rush her to an emergency room. She tried to apply for this job as an Investment banker at this well known investment institution but found out that her childhood friend was the Director in the company, who failed her during the interview to kick her out. The story starts when she tries to get herself into the organization, drills her way to the top trying to prove to the ML that she is stronger than the girl he knew from the past.It's a light drama where the characters don't often fall into complicated situations because they actually 'talk' to each other! I am glad this drama did not take the miscommunication route as it would have frustrated me to death. The main leads , although can't see eye to eye on things, were professional about work, still comunicates to each other and the chemistry between them was so lovable that I fell down from my chair many times from swooning. Leo Luo is an amazing actor and seriously, with how funny Bai Lu is, I am wondering how we could keep himself from bursting into laughter on set? Bai Lu is a gift to the Chinese entertainment industry and I continued watching this drama because I am totally in love with her character! I feel genuinely sad for Du Lei's character , gosh Kido is such a good actor. I even almost wished Du Lei would end up with Jiang Jun because he deserves all the good things in life.
Since this drama is still ongoing, please watch it! You won't regret.

LOVE IS SWEET, LOVE IS HURT
After rewatching it a third time, just after TTOTM.Adult drama, mature, intriguing, seductive and engaging. All characters are charismatic and well developed. Yuan Shuai and Jiang Jun complement each other, they are perfectly complementary. I adored their bond made of sweetness, passion and bickering. Qiao Na is my second favorite character that I most enjoyed, as strong and domineering as she is feminine. The best will always be Jiang Jun in m opinion.
I also enjoyed the other characters. The story develops quickly, but in the way to capture immediately, developing important themes. Some of the well developed themes are sexism, the dark side of showbiz and violence against women.
I also loved the growth of each character, but the thing I loved most is the relationship between Yuan Shuai and Jiang Jun, able of making each other better. Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu have a chemistry on fire, so strong, their kisses and passionate scenes, those of sweetness, are authentic and natural.
A mature and deep story that catches the heart.
The only very bad point is Du Lei, the second lead. I love Gao Hanyu as an actor, talented and handsome, but Du Lei is a character that I find vicious. Until the end he uses others.
However, the story drags you along, it never gets boring even if the only couple with the intriguing dynamic is the main one.

Beautiful love story.
Excellent drama!! Its like watching a real love story. The main actors and actresses are good and they make it so real and entertaining. The storyline is really good. The characters are superb. I like that the guy is so faithful to the girl since school days. Its fate that they meet again after 10 years and he only has her in his heart since..and so protective. Leo Luo is such a fantastic and talented actor... and so handsome you can't take your eyes off him.. mesmerizing beautiful eyes and the way he moves is spellbinding! He looks great in suit! Love his watch and black suit. Bai Lu and Leo are a sweet couple. She's a lovely actress. Mr Du is great. Wealth the dog is cute! Must watch. All of the actors are so good at acting and also the story line so fresh. I really like Yuan Shuai and Jiang Jun characters. I will recommend to all of my friends to watch this drama because this drama so funny like a sitcom. I always laughing for the entire episode. Luo yunxi so handsome and also Bail Lu so pretty. Can we got another project for both of them in the next drama?? The romance on this drama so sweet just like the title of this drama. Nothing Special But Worth Watching
I'm honestly immersed in this show. The FL's disease is f*cking weird but they didn't pretty much focused on that so I was cool with it. The backstories are relevant enough to not skip them.Although I skipped the scenes of the SFL and SML I regretted it eventually cause latter on I found them amusing and really funny. There's not much love triangle to look forward or I should say its kinda boring. What caught my attention is actually the leads moments as they worked together.
Acting skills by the leads were great but disappointing for the other characters cause they screwed up literally.
Im not the kind of person to rewatch this kind of drama so I gave a low score but I definitely recommend to watch this show.

Amazing Love Story
Bai Lu never fails me in all her acting. I'm impressed with the Male Lead's acting skills too. Both are doing great and their love story is just incredible.Usually, I was never a fan of boss employee dramas. But this one had be obsessed at the first episode. I feel you're still hesitating, I would say GO FOR IT. The chemistry between the 2 main leads is absolutely sizzling, and you don't have to worry about awkward or dead fish kisses. The kiss scenes are ?? AMAZING. I am also a major Luo Yunxi fangirl and was just squealing every time he came on screen

Unique features
the story is very basic of a Bossy ED and an Intern falling in love, but the fact that they’re childhood sweethearts is so cool. The actors on the other hand have done an amazing job showcasing their best work and professionalism. They main lead leo and Bai lu have an amazing chemistry! Even the side main roles Riley Wang and Kido Gao have done an amazing job.Overall everything about the drama is perfect for now. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Hope it gets the love it deserves. Love the chemistry
This the only cdrama that made me download all its OST... i super love their soundtracks. Aside from the ost, I really love the story line of this drama, alergic to tears is unusual but they pull it through. Maybe some scenes is not that necessary, I do admit that I have skipped some scene coz it bores me, but with the main characters, they have feelings, I mean, I could feel their emotions they want to show. I couldn't say much coz I dont to spoil this drama, but one thing I could assure you that this is worth your time. Well, compared to kdramas that more than an hour of streaming, I still prefer to watch this. Anyways, it's worth your time, dont worry. This is a must-see drama also.Was this review helpful to you?
As a general viewer & As a shipper
As a general viewer:This drama is not flawless, but I can hardly pay attention to any flaws because the casts and the production are AMAZING. It is the first c-drama that managed to pull me away from k-drama land. It is THAT AMAZING. Romcom with the right amount of angst. No long dragging misunderstanding / love triangle. OTP being 'us against the world' most of the time. I know people dislike the soundtracks but I think some of them are good. Overall score 9.5 but what I really meant was 9.95 - almost very very close to perfection!
