ONE OF THE BEST CDRAMAS IVE EVER WATCHED. AM GOING TO MISS ZAIZAI AND RANGRANG?
This drama had a really really warm vibe. Just the title in the op and closing itself had such heartwarming words. The cast was also spectacular. The fl was such a ball of sunshine, so lovable. While, the ml did a great job at portaying his role and the development was💯 All the side characters had a part to play and had their own personalities. ost's were also greatOverall, i DEFINETELY do not regret watching this drama and i think this might just be my fav drama of 2023 or even longer

One of the best coming of age in a school setting dramas! <3
My heart feels warm and fuzzy now. I adore this drama. Loved the characters to pieces!! Loved to see them love, grow and learn from each other without being overly dramatic or cringe. All the chapters of their life felt good enough and even the "time skips" were organic as if time flowed naturally. I believe both the original story and the script for this drama were very good, but also the actors! Considering for some of them it's their first major work that got recognised internationally too, this is something to be proud of! C-dramas are slowly winning my heart over Japanese/Korean and you can understand why. Added this to my comfort shows list even before finishing cus I knew even the end would be satisfying enough to give it a 10/10! <3Was this review helpful to you?
A beautiful heartwarming drama
This drama was protrayed really well. There was many really heartwarming moments. From the friendship of the 5 of them to Guan Fang and his grandmother to Rang Rang n Lu Li. I also really like how they didn't just stop at university like many youth dramas. I was touched by many scenes and it was like each episode told a story by itself. They also shared the back stories of the 5 of them. What I really liked was the way the show portrayed 默默付出, it really touched me. I also need more of Gu Ran and Jiang Jia though, they were really cute. Overall, I really enjoyed this show and it only took me 2 days to complete it. It really warmed my heart as I watched them grow, I find I have grown a little as well through this show so I want to leave a review here. Worth It
I finished this when a satisfied feeling, it was just so well done. I loved everything about it! I think When I Fly Towards You is such a wonderful drama, I think I might recommend it to everyone I know lol. Even though it's 24 episodes long, it's only around 12 hours if you watch it in one sitting (which I didn't do). I do have to say that it might be one of those dramas that you will like but will most likely forget after some time. It was still really good!Was this review helpful to you?
A clear story that brings both comfort and fondness
This really brought me so much comfort. It was cozy, like a hot chocolate during winter. The story was well written and it was executed amazingly.It was just really amazing to see a realistic teenage high school drama for once. The absence of miscomunications and love triangles was like a breath of fresh air.
It's a story where you get to witness the strong bond among people that grow closer little by little and become such close friend. You get to see growing love as well as the many hardships that teens often experience. The creation of meaningful relationships and everything else were things that I was really happy to see and that really made me emphatise with the characters. Of course it may seem a bit cheesy at times but that's what I really loved about it. I felt like a little kid daydreaming about love and wondering about my future.

Heartwarming.
This c-drama was quite heartwarming, I was going through a block in terms of watching series but I gave it a chance and enjoyed it a lot.To some people it may seem that in the end its pacing was rushed as the story focuses more on school time, and I agree with that in part.
Also, something that is notorious and that I don't quite understand is the need for the characters to continue having such childish behaviors when they are already adults and that they are also surprised or embarrassed to kiss each other or have gestures of affection when they have been in a relationship for many years and even lived together, but hey.
I must say that I liked the story itself, it was fun, light-hearted, romantic, wholesome and with a very calm pace. Perhaps many people didn't like the latter because the group of friends had to face very few difficulties and got everything they wanted, and we know that in many cases in real life this doesn't happen that way, personally I don't think that this detracted from the story, it was just what I wanted to see, a quiet story without so much drama.
I really liked seeing how our male protagonist was letting the female protagonist more and more into his world and how his change was becoming noticeable. I would have liked to see more of the relationship between the secondary couple, they were a lot of fun to watch.
Without further ado, I would recommend it, it's not heavy to watch and if you're looking for a simple, quiet love story with little nuances this one is adequate.

Too sweet, REWATCHED
The most sweetest couple ever 😍😍😍 the couple so sweet and so cute, I have moments where my heart can't handle this much sweetness, rare drama where both leads are equally best, the only cdrama which gives real true love feeling, other author should learn from this? they go on so many dates and so many romantic interaction, (while other cdrama they will go only on 1 date that's it and romance disappears in later)and the main screen time is main couple, even the 2nd couple is really slow burn unlike other drama where they start as slow burn but suddenly pregnant or marriage? cdrama lacks romance and sweetness like this ,this is what 90% kdrama look like and feel like, whereas cdrama historical, fantasy, etc all focus on everything except from romance, this is how a romance genre should bethere's enough

i had given up on chinese drama 10 years ago when I started kdrama,most kdrama are 10 on 10 but for me chinese is still on level 7 or 8 only this is 10 on 10 for me ,I thought Chinese drama have improved but no still the same only few are good rest the same as 10yrs ago ,this is the best CDRAMA I have watched

Synopsis
Su Zaizai (Zhang Miaoyi) and Zhang Lurang (Zhou Yiran) are complete opposites in personality. Where Zhang Lurang is cold and aloof, Su Zaizai is social and friendly. That doesn’t stop Zaizai from developing an instant crush on Zhang Lurang when they have a chance encounter at a corner store on a rainy day. Zaizai begins to persistently put herself in Zhang Lurang’s sphere to get his attention and win his friendship. Zaizai turns out to be just what Zhang Lurang needed to help him break out of his cold, lonely shell. Tolerance becomes friendship then evolves to something more.

This is one of the most heart warming romantic comedies I have ever seen. The main romance is credible, well paced, believable and incredibly sweet. The bonus, second couple romance, is also very touching. So many interesting relationships between the friends and family. If you like heart warming romances, coming of age, or friends to lovers then you should definitely add this to your watch list.

Zhang Lurang’s mother was a tiger mom to the extreme. Her expectations were so unreasonably high she was not satisfied her son was a top student. His lack of self confidence and shy/withdrawn nature was the consequence of his mother’s extreme behavior. It is harmful to compare one person to another in a negative way. Does it happen in real life. Absolutely. My spouse was subjected to that same lens and had many emotional problems as a result.
To watch Zaizai’s sunny persistence draw Zhang Lurang out of his protective cocoon was a delight to watch. In one part someone said your girlfriend is clingy and he corrected them saying he was the one who was clingy. Later they commented all the women were after him romantically yet he never wavered. It made perfect sense because she literally saved him from himself and he said as much.
There were occasions where the group of five were together just enjoying their friendship and being young and I loved it. It is a gift to have people like that in your life.
I loved how all the kids loved the one friend’s grandmother. They hung out at her restaurant and she fed them good food

sweet, fluffy, and soft youth romance!
95% of this story contains sweetness, happiness, smiles, and peace. there's minimal conflict that won't stress you out. i like the story of Zaizai and Rangrang, so sweet that i wish i could be like them. there's also the fitting part about lonely Gu Ran's story with his doctor parents, Guan Fang with his previous personality alongside his grandma, and Jiang Jia who seems cheerful but feels lost despite always appearing confident. the relationship between Zhang Lu Rang and his uncle, Mr. Lin, so heartwarming. this story is very light and heartwarming, guaranteed to bring a smile. Su Zai Zai was the luckiest and happiest girl, it's truly perfect life! Zaizai's warm and enjoyable family, Lu Rang's younger sibling who deeply loves his older brother but feels a bit distant due to their parents. the greatest happiness for me is Gu Ran and Jiang Jia. all the happiness in it never fails to make me smile and makes me wish i could be part of that friendship and celebrate every New Year with them, they are really supportive besties. and, Guan Fang could be with me then hehehe😋Was this review helpful to you?
To the future readers this is something you MUST WATCH!
Actually to be honest, tiktok made me watch this drama. I was quiet unsure if I should watch it or no because I am in a holiday and I wanted to enjoy but no something told me to watch it so I watched the first 10 episodes at around 3am while I am in a holiday, and god do I regret? NO and I never will. Falling into your smile will always be my number 1 drama no matter what but this drama will always have a special place in my heart. To the future reader of this review if you just came from watching a sad drama or a heartbreaking story I am 100% sure this drama will make your day and you won’t regret watching it. Trust me I am legit writing this review while I am still in vacation. I DONT write reviews much but this drama has made me write one. This drama is definitely a 10/10 it is amazing. It is wholesome cute and sweet. I tell YALL Episode 19-22 has me on the chokehold. This is the cutest and one of the best love stories ever written I am in love with this. And in the future if I watch a sad story or a sad ending drama I would definitely rewatch this to make my day better. Another lovely Zhu Yi adaptation
Same author who wrote Hidden Love (Secretly, Secretly, Unable to Hide) also wrote this one.The novel's title is "She's A Little Crazy." I think that about sums up the drama. The actress does a wonderful job being a little crazy, but not annoying. It's the very typical high pitched nasal cutesy Asian female voice, but I think because she's so positive, it's not annoying.
Lots of comedy, lots of heartwarming moments.
ML did a wonderful job getting into character. He's quite different in "Falling Into Your Smile." Although the FL does 98% of the talking and the ML 2%, his lines are well delivered, perfectly timed. I think it's just as hard to play a quiet role because the acting is completely done by micro facial expressions and getting the right aura. The actor nailed it.
Music is mostly pleasantly retro, sometimes cheesy but really only where it needs to be.

A must watch for all, especially those wanting to reminisce their youth
I watched the first two episodes and didn't continue on until a couple days ago and I watched the whole thing in four days!! I have never cried so much from happiness in a drama, the entire last episode I couldn't stop.The couples are the cutest I have ever seen in my life. Yes the slow burn is real but man I loved their developments and how they properly got to know each other before dating. The love these group of friends has is just amazing.
As someone who just graduated year 12 myself a couple days ago, this drama about youth and growing up really hit home for me. I hope we all have learnt to treasure the time we have with each other after watching this masterpiece.
I know I will turn to this drama again in the future when I need some comfort. Please go watch if you haven't already, I have never been so certain of a show worth a 10/10 rating.
