Good lighthearted drama
If you're seeking a lighthearted drama, this one is a perfect choice. The camcorder detail in the show adds a delightful sense of nostalgia that I absolutely adore. It has a great balance in portraying romance, friendship, and family dynamics. Each storyline is well-developed and none of them feel superfluous. As someone who tends to skip through scenes in dramas, I was pleasantly surprised to find myself fully engaged in every episode of this drama. The relationship between Zhang Lu Rang and Su Zaizai is incredibly endearing, and I appreciate the absence of prolonged frustrating plot points. My Comfort Drama
Watched this 3x already. It is just perfect in every way. Each time I write a review, I am crying lol. I don't want to spoil this for anyone who has never seen it so I won't say much.If you are looking for a high school to adulthood drama that is light, fluffy, charming, full of green flags, friendship, family, no drama, no love triangle, just pure LOVE, then this is the one for you. The ending is what you would want to see in all romance dramas. It is perfect to me. Sometimes, I wish I could watch this again for the first time but each time I do, I never get bored and I still end up crying. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

A smoldering ember of nostalgia
I really loved this drama, I had a great time watching it.Let me start by highlighting its strengths: - the characters are incredibly endearing, especially the secondary couple.
- The atmosphere is immersive, offering a true rejuvenating experience and palpable nostalgia.
- As for the story, although simplistic, it captivates with its evolution, especially in the romance where slow burn and pure romance prevail.
-It's not a show for expecting suggestive scenes, but the tender moments are numerous and unforgettable.
-The ost are beautiful, especially one in particular that evokes a wave of nostalgia with each listen.
However, there are a few negatives to mention:
- the relationship of the secondary couple, while adorable, deserved more development before being concluded so quickly.
- Additionally, some issues are raised but not truly resolved, such as the family tensions of some characters, leaving a feeling of incompleteness. Similarly, the incident of sexual touching of a certain character deserved a deeper exploration instead of being quickly ignored.
- Despite these minor flaws, the overall quality of the drama is undeniable, which leads me to give it a rating of 9 out of 10 and highly recommend it 🌺

It's a safe place ?
I don't know what to say except : WATCH IT. It became a safe place for me, it's just SO beautiful !!!! The story isn't the most original one but I like the fact that we have their "real moment" with their camera, it's the cherry on top yk ? Beautiful to see thanks to the director and the choice made for the shooting/setting/props but also thanks to the actors and their acting ! All the characters were loveable and the last episode made me cry 😭 I'm just sad that it is a short drama, for once I wanted more episodes 🩷Was this review helpful to you?

The perfect youth drama
I don't really write reviews but this drama definitely deserved one.Story: First off, I don't really like the female pursuing male cliché, but this drama proved to me that I didn't detest it at all—just that past dramas didn't portray it well. I watched so many youth dramas with the same trope but the female lead would only embarrass herself over and over again. But this drama showed that the embarrassment wasn't really necessary. Secondly, even though this is a youth c-drama we barely got any misunderstandings, and if we did, it would be solved within the span of one episode. Thirdly, the pacing of the plot was just immaculate. I didn't feel like it was too rushed nor was it too slow, it was just perfect. Last but not least, you will enjoy the story of all the support roles and the love story of the secondary couple. Their love story shines in their own way. Overall, for a humorous adolescent drama, the plot was really incredible and well thought out, and the ending will have you in tears. This is THE youth drama of 2023, though it may be too soon to say for sure.
Acting: The actors in the cast performed a fantastic job in their parts. I have to admit that the acting of this young group of actors genuinely surprised me. Although their acting wasn't very exceptional, they did a great job of making the characters likable and entertaining to watch.
Cinematography: I had to admit that the directors did a great job with the cinematography. As the plot developed, you could observe how trends in fashion and other areas changed. The phones and clothing, for instance, changed as the years passed. They paid attention to even the smallest details. You could see how the characters were dressing less conservatively. And the topics of men and women were also not looked down upon as much. The details might be minor, but they played a vital role in the pacing of the drams.
Music: Every single song was wonderful. They were ideal and appropriate for each circumstance that arose in the drama.
So all in all this is a great drama and I would encourage you all to watch it!

So cuteeee
Actually it was the song blue by yung kai that brought me to watch this series, it was so overrated. I tried to watch it the first time something in me didn't clicked so I dropped it without even finishing episode 1. I think it was probably one year later and we have a long break from school so I need something to watch to make myself entertain during the break that's why I give this series an another try. Little did I know that that is one of the BEST decision I have ever made. It's been a long time since I got hooked with a C-Drama, everything is so perfect and cute. I usually don't write reviews but I need everyone to watch this drama right now!! Both main leads go through many challenges from high school to their jobs even some cliche stuff but they make it not so cliche its so cute. They both Communicate so well leaving no misunderstandings for long. They both give each other strength as well as all of their friends. It focus on hard work, happiness, and such a fluffy drama. They have little to no miscommunication as well as the deep trust they have and when I say the trust is such a relief, they neither ever second guess about one another. The second lead couple are also so cute but I do wish they got together more early. This drama just gets better and better as you go into it, officially my comfort drama because usually for me dramas drag a few episodes but this one is so good I need more episodes, doesn't drag at all you can just enjoy watching this smiling, gives this nostalgic feel, greenest flags ever. This one was really enjoyable! The leads were super cute, and I loved the female lead, she was truly a breath of fresh air. She was fearless and straightforward, which made for an interesting watch. I had a hard time focusing at the beginning because I thought it was boring (and I don’t have much patience!), but I’m glad I stuck around because it kept getting better.I do think the show could’ve been shorter. C-dramas often go overboard with length when the plot isn't strong enough to sustain it. Since this is a slice-of-life show, you stay because you’re attached to the characters, but in my opinion, those types of stories don't need more than 16 episodes!

Cute fluffy, heartwarming drama.
If you finished a thriller/intense/ emotional drama, and want to watch something nice and cute, with not much load, lemme tell you, you've come to the right place. The best part is there is no scheming evil person.The story is pretty much simple (cliché), about a bunch of highschoolers, who fall in love and have their happily ever after.
I feel this drama has certain similarities with few others, so 'Disclaimer for this review' I might go ahead comparing bits and pieces with other dramas. Acting and cast were fine ( It was a pleasure watching Ai Jia (form 'Falling into your smile' ) (😆 lol, I still call him that). Coming to music, that one song in english that plays in the later half (i guess), its amazing.
Plot : I found it kinda similar to the plot of the drama 'a love so beautiful' , but i think this one was way much better. We have a cute and cheerful FL, who fell for the ML first (love at first sight). But unlike the FL of ' A love so beautiful', she's not entirely dumb. She's strong, i.e., she can fight her own battles, she's not entirely hopeless when it comes to academics (she had her strengths) , but she does try to act cute in front of her love interest. The ML on the other hand isn't someone who's the pefect (but unrealistic) human. He has his own weaknesses , and difficulties in life. The way each of them help each other grow mutually & ultimately fell in love, was truely amazing. At no point it felt fancy, it was very gradual and smooth transition. And wathing them was a pleasure.
Anothe comparison, that I've come across is between 'When I fly towards you' and ' Hidden love'. Both these dramas have a special place in my heart, and I loved them both. In my opinion, both of them are unique in their own way. Hidden love talks mostly about love. I'd call Romance as its biggest theme, which was a bit more mature in terms of life struggles, stuff like that. But that's not the case with 'When I fly towars you', as it has a plethora of themes like : school life, friendships, romance, which makes it different, in a beautiful way. (I'll still give Hidden love some bonus point for none other than the gorgeous couple CZY &Lusi.)
The portrayal of friendships in this drama , was just spectacular. I'm sure many had been reminded of their school days. It was just too good . Being majorly a school drama, a huge chunck of it had lots of plot lines relating to high school and it covered a vivid variety of issues. The five friends hanging out , having fun, probably gave all of us nostalgia. The best part was that the plot incuded their life as grown ups, again covering quite a few slice of life topics, which made it more realistic. The proposal was so freaking cute .
Everything, pretty much . I'd call this the CUTEST drama I've ever watched.

first love and beautiful growth
this drama was simple yet beautiful, sweet, realistic, relatable and swoon worthy. as i near my 30s, it was really lovely getting to watch a drama like this one. that made me think and reminisce about my own youth/school days. a wonderful depiction of what its like to fall in love for the first time. it was just an easy and enjoyable drama all together.i would recommend anyone to watch this, especially on a hot summer day like i did. no crazy, unnecessary drama/crazy characters. sit back, relax and enjoy something that makes you appreciate your own life/love experiences.

Simple High School Romance
By far of all the dramas I've ever watched and edited, this has been my favourite drama!Although I've watched many dramas, this drama felt more realistic with a simple plot that shows both romance and friendship, especially in a youth drama. The cast was amazing and had so much chemistry even though they may not have been the most popular actors/actresses but I felt it was more suitable for the drama rather than having popular actors/actresses that may not have fit into a youth drama. Also, I liked that the drama concluded their story from their youth to their adult life which really makes the viewer get attached to the show at the end.

Wonderful drama for youth!!!!
This is such a nice drama like if you like watching a which has no love triangle then this drama is literally for you the first leads are both sooooooooo loving like it is the troop the girl falls first but the boy falls even harder and the second are also soooooo loving it is the troop like the boys falls first but the girls falls even harder like both have different stories and they are the greenest flags I think you all will ever see and I love it when he made the line that a girl is a princess in front of the one she loves like both leads and soooo supportive towards each other and their careers like the second leads waits for the girls so that she can fall in love with him and when the girl falls in love with him she waits for him to come back.............they all have a very very very healthy relationship and love each other very much .......in this drama you will not find jealousy only happiness........and when the girl in mad at the first lead then he realised his feelings for her and apologized to her.....like drama is sooo worth watching definitely watch it!!!!Was this review helpful to you?
