When I Fly Towards You is a love series about the love that escalates between middle school students (Su Zai Zai, Zhang Lu Rang, Jiang Jia, Gu Ran, Guan Fang) and the growing development of friendship, character, and their life.It starts with a new cheerful outgoing student which moves into a new school (Su Zai Zai). On her first day, she encountered the cool and HANDSOME Zhang Lu Rang and fell in love with him. But in secret, the reason he is closed is because of his family that keeps comparing and shows favoritism to his brother which makes them forget about him. His mom even forgets his allergies. That didn’t bother Zai Zai. She then starts to get his attention and starts getting close to him and his friends. They start hanging out often and her friend (a guy) starts catching feelings with her best friend. Whilst their friendship grows, their feelings also grow. Zhang Lu Rang, the guy starts getting feelings for Su Zai Zai and keeps his feelings a secret. Su Zai Zai and Zhang Lu Rang start to get closer, and he starts to feel more comfortable with her. Their love grows and last and they end up getting married.
This has become my favorite and my comfort series for a reason. It is outgoing, exciting, relatable, fun and shows feelings. This series gives the feeling of love, friendship, development, and the hardships of life.
This love series is truly great. It shows character, feelings, development, and the hardships of live and process. For me this series is really worth watching and is a 10/10.

Worth the watch
If you are looking for a story that has healthy relationship, then this is the one for you. No unnecessary drama. No misunderstandings. It is very youthful and close to a real story I could say. The female lead is very bubbly and the male lead is introverted. If you are looking for a very different story, then this might not be your cup of tea. But this definitely is a very light-hearted drama. The male lead is Ai Jia from falling into your smile. Just like his character in that series, he is whipped to the female lead. Even the friendship element is so good in this series. Everyone wishes for a friends gang like theirs. From high school to work life, they stick together through thick and thin. What more would you want in life. Even the second couple is super cute. Wish there is a spin-off for their story. Good lighthearted drama
If you're seeking a lighthearted drama, this one is a perfect choice. The camcorder detail in the show adds a delightful sense of nostalgia that I absolutely adore. It has a great balance in portraying romance, friendship, and family dynamics. Each storyline is well-developed and none of them feel superfluous. As someone who tends to skip through scenes in dramas, I was pleasantly surprised to find myself fully engaged in every episode of this drama. The relationship between Zhang Lu Rang and Su Zaizai is incredibly endearing, and I appreciate the absence of prolonged frustrating plot points. Heartfelt and made me appreciate life more
This series is honestly worth every minute, i might have been bored at first but as i got to know the characters more…i loved it. It’s now my favorite show ever. You can see them get through different phases of their lives and have their ups and downs and you actually feel emotionally connected to them. I cried a lot and i laughed a lot, it made me sad, emotional, happy and every emotion there is. A smoldering ember of nostalgia
I really loved this drama, I had a great time watching it.Let me start by highlighting its strengths: - the characters are incredibly endearing, especially the secondary couple.
- The atmosphere is immersive, offering a true rejuvenating experience and palpable nostalgia.
- As for the story, although simplistic, it captivates with its evolution, especially in the romance where slow burn and pure romance prevail.
-It's not a show for expecting suggestive scenes, but the tender moments are numerous and unforgettable.
-The ost are beautiful, especially one in particular that evokes a wave of nostalgia with each listen.
However, there are a few negatives to mention:
- the relationship of the secondary couple, while adorable, deserved more development before being concluded so quickly.
- Additionally, some issues are raised but not truly resolved, such as the family tensions of some characters, leaving a feeling of incompleteness. Similarly, the incident of sexual touching of a certain character deserved a deeper exploration instead of being quickly ignored.
- Despite these minor flaws, the overall quality of the drama is undeniable, which leads me to give it a rating of 9 out of 10 and highly recommend it 🌺

It's a safe place ?
I don't know what to say except : WATCH IT. It became a safe place for me, it's just SO beautiful !!!! The story isn't the most original one but I like the fact that we have their "real moment" with their camera, it's the cherry on top yk ? Beautiful to see thanks to the director and the choice made for the shooting/setting/props but also thanks to the actors and their acting ! All the characters were loveable and the last episode made me cry 😭 I'm just sad that it is a short drama, for once I wanted more episodes 🩷Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best coming of age in a school setting dramas! <3
My heart feels warm and fuzzy now. I adore this drama. Loved the characters to pieces!! Loved to see them love, grow and learn from each other without being overly dramatic or cringe. All the chapters of their life felt good enough and even the "time skips" were organic as if time flowed naturally. I believe both the original story and the script for this drama were very good, but also the actors! Considering for some of them it's their first major work that got recognised internationally too, this is something to be proud of! C-dramas are slowly winning my heart over Japanese/Korean and you can understand why. Added this to my comfort shows list even before finishing cus I knew even the end would be satisfying enough to give it a 10/10! <3Was this review helpful to you?
A beautiful heartwarming drama
This drama was protrayed really well. There was many really heartwarming moments. From the friendship of the 5 of them to Guan Fang and his grandmother to Rang Rang n Lu Li. I also really like how they didn't just stop at university like many youth dramas. I was touched by many scenes and it was like each episode told a story by itself. They also shared the back stories of the 5 of them. What I really liked was the way the show portrayed 默默付出, it really touched me. I also need more of Gu Ran and Jiang Jia though, they were really cute. Overall, I really enjoyed this show and it only took me 2 days to complete it. It really warmed my heart as I watched them grow, I find I have grown a little as well through this show so I want to leave a review here. Worth It
I finished this when a satisfied feeling, it was just so well done. I loved everything about it! I think When I Fly Towards You is such a wonderful drama, I think I might recommend it to everyone I know lol. Even though it's 24 episodes long, it's only around 12 hours if you watch it in one sitting (which I didn't do). I do have to say that it might be one of those dramas that you will like but will most likely forget after some time. It was still really good!Was this review helpful to you?

The perfect youth drama
I don't really write reviews but this drama definitely deserved one.Story: First off, I don't really like the female pursuing male cliché, but this drama proved to me that I didn't detest it at all—just that past dramas didn't portray it well. I watched so many youth dramas with the same trope but the female lead would only embarrass herself over and over again. But this drama showed that the embarrassment wasn't really necessary. Secondly, even though this is a youth c-drama we barely got any misunderstandings, and if we did, it would be solved within the span of one episode. Thirdly, the pacing of the plot was just immaculate. I didn't feel like it was too rushed nor was it too slow, it was just perfect. Last but not least, you will enjoy the story of all the support roles and the love story of the secondary couple. Their love story shines in their own way. Overall, for a humorous adolescent drama, the plot was really incredible and well thought out, and the ending will have you in tears. This is THE youth drama of 2023, though it may be too soon to say for sure.
Acting: The actors in the cast performed a fantastic job in their parts. I have to admit that the acting of this young group of actors genuinely surprised me. Although their acting wasn't very exceptional, they did a great job of making the characters likable and entertaining to watch.
Cinematography: I had to admit that the directors did a great job with the cinematography. As the plot developed, you could observe how trends in fashion and other areas changed. The phones and clothing, for instance, changed as the years passed. They paid attention to even the smallest details. You could see how the characters were dressing less conservatively. And the topics of men and women were also not looked down upon as much. The details might be minor, but they played a vital role in the pacing of the drams.
Music: Every single song was wonderful. They were ideal and appropriate for each circumstance that arose in the drama.
So all in all this is a great drama and I would encourage you all to watch it!

Too sweet, REWATCHED
The most sweetest couple ever 😍😍😍 the couple so sweet and so cute, I have moments where my heart can't handle this much sweetness, rare drama where both leads are equally best, the only cdrama which gives real true love feeling, other author should learn from this? they go on so many dates and so many romantic interaction, (while other cdrama they will go only on 1 date that's it and romance disappears in later)and the main screen time is main couple, even the 2nd couple is really slow burn unlike other drama where they start as slow burn but suddenly pregnant or marriage? cdrama lacks romance and sweetness like this ,this is what 90% kdrama look like and feel like, whereas cdrama historical, fantasy, etc all focus on everything except from romance, this is how a romance genre should bethere's enough

i had given up on chinese drama 10 years ago when I started kdrama,most kdrama are 10 on 10 but for me chinese is still on level 7 or 8 only this is 10 on 10 for me ,I thought Chinese drama have improved but no still the same only few are good rest the same as 10yrs ago ,this is the best CDRAMA I have watched

So cuteeee
Actually it was the song blue by yung kai that brought me to watch this series, it was so overrated. I tried to watch it the first time something in me didn't clicked so I dropped it without even finishing episode 1. I think it was probably one year later and we have a long break from school so I need something to watch to make myself entertain during the break that's why I give this series an another try. Little did I know that that is one of the BEST decision I have ever made. It's been a long time since I got hooked with a C-Drama, everything is so perfect and cute.
