Beautiful chemistry-filled, healthy, adult relationship
I struggled with rating this show, based on how well-acquainted I became with my FF button on my remote. I'll get this out of the way first thing: 32 episodes was too long. There was WAY too much time spent on gaming and space exploration. Normally, my rating would be a lot lower, since I, in actuality, probably only watched 50% of the show. But that 50% was golden!Actors: Yang Yang as Yu Tu. There is no doubt about it, the man is gorgeous. And put a pair of glasses on him? He's at another level. He has very expressive eyes and his acting felt natural in this. I think he's grown a lot as an actor since Love O2O, plus his more mature looks are a plus. Dilraba Dilmurat at Jing Jing. She is absolutely stunning. I thought she was excellent here. I loved watching her face every time she saw YuTu - the love she had for him shone through, even back in their high school days.
Characters: I loved both of the main characters and their relationship. The progression from friendship to love was VERY slow, but made sense, and once they were together there were no stupid misunderstandings or breakups. There were two time skips, but they were together the whole time. I could see why they fell in love, and their love was believable and palpable. This was a perfect example of a healthy relationship, with lots of cute interactions and jokes between them, as well as them trying to make their relationship work when one person is extremely famous, and both people in the relationship are extremely busy. Yu Tu makes a comment that in the past year Jing Jing had been in Shanghai for only a little over a month, but they were both understanding of the other's career and the time demands that were involved. They continued to carve out time for one another as best they could. I loved Yu Tu's intelligence and love for his career, which caused him problems in the first few episodes, trying to decide between doing what you love, and what your family expects. Jing Jing could have been a spoiled brat of a character, but she wasn't, thankfully. She was a dedicated actress, but she was nice to everyone around her. She didn't act like she was entitled. I loved her fascination with Yu Tu's work - her wanting to go to his workplace to see what he does and to eat in the canteen. She had such joie de vivre - she didn't try to temper her excitement of things and that was really cute. She seemed to run everywhere, running from room to room in the house, running to him when she sees him, running to explore something new.
I also really enjoyed the characters of her manager and her assistant. They took such good care of Jing Jing, and them watching Yu Tu and Jing Jing being loving was so cute.
Chemistry: Oh, my goodness. This show was full of chemistry between the leads, from the looks they exchanged, when they saw each other after being apart, and their kisses were on fire! This couple was a lot of fun to watch. I rewound and re-watched multiple scenes, just to see their micro-expressions and their interactions. I smiled A LOT, while watching this, they were just wonderful together.
I also loved what this show DIDN'T have:
-as mentioned before, no stupid misunderstandings. No multiple break-ups. No long separations.
-No evil exes trying to get back together with them or working to separate the main couple. To be honest, an ex showed up for each of them, but they could have been left out completely, they served no purpose to further the story.
-No multiple couples to keep track of. This show focused on the main couple and gave them the time that they deserved for their story.
-No rushed ending. Nothing frustrates me more than watching something that takes forever to get the couple together and then rushes getting them together in the last 15 minutes. Here, we got to see dating, wedding, and married life.
Speaking of endings: I was extremely touched by the way this show ended. It was Yu Tu's time to shine and Jing Jing supported him all the way. The national pride that was displayed by everyone in what they accomplished brought tears to my eyes.
Music: I thought the music was good and the one song that talked about not feeling good enough for the other person went really well with Yu Tu's feelings. What did he really have to offer to this relationship?
Re-watch value: I will TOTALLY be re-watching this, just the way I did this time, fast forwarding through all the boring stuff to enjoy their relationship.

Romcoms should be like this
Romcoms should be sweet just like this. Impressed by Yang yang once again, he is good-looking but how is every of his role so exceptionally attractive really amazes me.The topics of true love, adulthood, marriage, acceptance that everyone has their flaws were well portrayed. I must admit the first half was a bit slow, but it gets better.
If you're looking for a drama with no angst conflics or mistrust or exasperating anatagonist plotline, I would recommend this together with Hidden love and Who rules the world.

Just wanna share a lil about this drama for me.
I was once dramas lover (kdrama). But stop watching any kind of drama since 3 years ago. But this wonderful drama awake my drama sense's side. The story plot is interesting, the characters are amazing, YY and DD really suit this drama perfectly. And I can't believe that I attached to this drama like no way out. I watched this over and over again. Planning to watch it again next week for the nth times. Big thanks to the writter of the novel, Gu Man, you are really amazing. And also to all the crews for making this as a great drama as well, thank you so much.
If you guys haven't watch this drama, go watch it, you won't regret it. Big recommended.

It's simple, I liked it.
I am usually a skipper when i watch dramas. I'll skip any scene that I find boring. In this drama the only thing i skipped would be the aerospace work discussions and stuff like that. It was a simple developing story with no overbearing CEO vibes. Just a sweet understanding couple, working in different fields working together to maintain a healthy relationship. The main couple is an example of an extremely healthy and loving relationship. TBH i read what some people in the reviews said about inexplicable kisses. But to me it felt like that was to depict their longing for each other. As an actor and a scientist, their jobs require time and they do not have the same amount of time to spend on each other, while they both understand it, they long for each other. I think those might be a way to make Yu Tu and Qiao Jing Jing feel secure in their relationship. It gets hard for people in a relationship that are unable to meet, maybe the kisses are what made them feel whether the passion they once had for their relationship still exists. Like I said gives them a sense of security. Was this review helpful to you?

Looking for a drama with a mature, green flag relationship without unnecessary drama? Watch this
I started this drama on a whim when a few of its clips appeared on my YT fyp - and boy I'm happy they did. I went in without thinking much, my expectations weren't high but they weren't low either. It just so happened that I had been wanting to watch a lighter, more stress free of a drama and YAMG turned out to be just that.I won't make this too long. I really liked how the leads' relationship was drama free and a green flag from start to finish. There was a sense of mutual respect between them which I particularly admire. Major props to Dilraba - she portrayed the FL flawlessly and came across as a cheerful and adorable character without appearing cringy. I love how it was the ML who isn't as financially strong here, and how genuine struggles are portrayed in a more realistic fashion. I did find it odd that he went back to his job instead of opting for the higher paying one but I guess it makes sense for his character. It worked out well for the story anyway. The leads' relationship was developed quite nicely and the best thing was that even though there was no 'drama' per se, it never felt boring. The chemistry was absolutely phenomenal in this one.
I do have to preface that if you're looking for a strong, plot driven drama then you may not want to watch YAMG right now. This was a major chemistry driven drama, plus it's just sweetness all around. A good watch if you want something lighter, unproblematic and stress free.

Realistic story of Cdrama!!!
So far, this is the most realistic contemporary drama I've seen. From the leads' relationship to their careers, and all of the supporting characters. Some of the stories touched me deeply, especially when it came to choosing between your dreams and money. However, don't expect a deep or emotional slice of life plot. This is the epitome of simplicity.
This is a unique drama with a different plot than other dramas, in my opinion. There is no angry ex in your life, no one attempting to murder you by using a criminal, and so on.
This Cdrama is fantastic, and the leads act as if they are in a real-life relationship.

Great drama
You are my glory is one of the best Chinese dramas I ever watched. I have already watched it 3 times already and loved it. A great story and really great moments in the drama. I loved love 020 when I watched it and this is right up there. I am a huge fan of Yang Yang and this for me is one of his best drama series . I love the music and it fits great with the story. The story of a actresses and a normal guy was done before. But this is a new take on it. This is great drama and worth watching.
The ost was great

Chemistry between leads are over the top
I remember watching the drama until episode 11 and got really bored. The front part of the story have lots of gaming and talks on aerospace which kinda bore me out. I decided to take a break from this drama and only came back to it a few weeks later. I started from where I left and surprisingly, the story got better. The chemistry between Dilreba and Yang Yang in this drama is the best I have seen. Just their visuals alone is stunning enough to leave you in awe. The interactions between both felt so real I feel like I'm intruding on their privacy. The storyline was really good too. At least there were no breakups or miscommunication sort of things.
Definitely a must-watch if you enjoy romance drama! The OST is so good too! Only thing I don't really like is the colour grading for the drama. Felt a bit too bright? Idk how to describe.

Good drama
Just watched it and loved it. This is my first review and normally don't write it.I watched it only because I was a fan of Yang Yang especially after I watched love 020.
I have to say this is a better drama. Great music and a good story. The story was different and it shows how you can find that one person that understands you the best.
The ost of the series fits the story line.
The only problem with Chinese and Korean TV series is that most of them have only one season and I hope they can consider making more of this series.
Ths is worth watching not once but a couple of times.

Unexpectedly lovely and tender, this drama is a delightful mix of gaming, aerospace, and actress/idol elements, which initially made me hesitant, but it all seamlessly came together, resulting in a successful narrative exploring dreams versus societal expectations, second chances, growth, and love. The key to its success lies in its high production value, notably impressive visual effects and animation, especially during the gaming sequences. The clever integration of video game characters with 'reality' adds to the charm. In the first half, the drama centers around the game, offering thrilling action scenes and captivating animation. The second half transitions to the aerospace theme, portraying the allure of space with its romanticism, beautiful starlit landscapes, and a sense of the unknown that captivates the audience. The use of soft lighting and dreamy atmosphere, coupled with a stunning OST, enhances the overall experience.
While I initially had reservations about the cast, Yang Yang and Dilraba proved to be perfect choices. Their chemistry on-screen was genuine, and their banter felt natural, making them highly enjoyable to watch. Dilraba's performance showcased her charm and talent, while Yang Yang's intriguing facial expressions kept me engaged throughout. The absence of foolish misunderstandings and excessive angst was a refreshing change, and the obstacles faced by the characters were relatable and well-resolved.
Unexpectedly emotional scenes, such as the second rejection, the wedding, and the successful launch of God Searcher, left a lasting impact and even moved me to tears.
Finally, the drama’s ending felt perfect, tying everything together in a satisfying manner.
