An Eye-opening thriller about fame and deception!!!
I recently finished watching Streaming and honestly, it was a really great thriller movie. It felt very different from the usual thrillers and I really liked it.What stood out the most for me was Kang Ha-neul’s acting. He was absolutely amazing. The way he portrayed nervousness and anxiety was so real, especially how he would shiver and stutter when something intense or dangerous happened. His mannerisms were so natural that it didn’t feel like acting at all. It made me connect even more with his character. His performance was truly on point and I really, really enjoyed watching him.The story was also very interesting. It gave a different perspective on the world of online streaming and influencers. It showed how far people are willing to go for money and fame, even if it means putting themselves in real danger or faking entire situations just for views.
One supporting character, Mathilda, stages fake scenarios to make people believe they are real. It really makes you think about how scripted and fake some parts of online content can be, and how little some people care about the viewers all they care about is the attention and money.
Without giving away spoilers, I’ll just say that the villain’s obsession adds another layer to the story, making it even more intense.
Overall, Streaming was quite a different experience for me, in a good way. I absolutely loved the acting and the story was strong too.
It’s definitely a movie I would recommend if you want a thriller that is unique and leaves you thinking even after it ends.

The forefront of experimental cinema
Korean cinema is always the one that dares to take the leap and stays at the forefront of experimental cinema of the bleeding edge, the entire movie was done in the lens of live streaming POVs, and yet it was brilliantly executed in favor of that sense of internet surrealism and algorithm war. The plot is really hefty and well planned, the mocking of those sensational live streamers that could do anything for fame and monetization, while pulling effective plot twists in crime thriller fashion, the direction is just smart as hell. Meanwhile Kang Ha Neul who is the man of focus, his blazing presence as the whole spotlight shines through with his absolutely insane acting performances, this movie will definitely remain as one of his most remarkable works for years. Was this review helpful to you?

chaotic mess
I've anticipated this movie for a few months now and idk what I expected but not this-on one site its interesting because there aren't that many movies about streaming (as in thriller genre ofc) and I liked that most of it was actually "streamed" by the ml
but there are multiple situations that I genuinely don't understand, why was it added for example there was a scene where he was parking down and a guy asked him to not park there then after a small argument he started undressing in public til underwear - aware that he's being filmed too and tried jumping on the car. like wrf 😭
i don't mind comedy mixed with thriller if it fits but shouldn't it make sense??
it just got very weird in multiple scenes but I don't want to spoiler anything so I'll leave it at that!

Almost skipped it, but Ha-neul saved the whole movie!
I almost didn’t watch this cuz of the low ratings, BUT THANK GOD I DID.I can def see why some people think the story is weak, but Ha-neul’s acting made it 1000 times better !!
His acting is absolutely peak, AND he’s carrying most of the movie solo talking alone in long shots.
For me, it’s a solid 8/10.
Ha-neul’s acting is phenomenal, and the storyline isn’t that bad ngl. It’s really fascinating to see just how deranged a person can become under the pressure of social media and chasing more views.
