A remake but has the Korean flare and acting top class
It is an adaptation but it can stand on its own. The Korean flavor is added to make it appealing to your standard kdrama audience. The OST, cinematography and acting are perfect especially the lead actress who showcased the different characters and in different timelineA lot will compare this to the original drama thus OG watchers will have certain expectations and may not be happy about it - but this version has its own DNA and should be watched on its own.
Love it so much and would highly recommend!

Mama this is garbage !
the only thing this drama had going for itself was good visuals.writing is actual garbage. super convoluted and complicated to understand who is who in who's body later in the drama.
why would you spend 11 episodes explaining what is going on and how the time traveling works (poorly i must say) just to completely disregard it at the end of the last episode ??? The writers wanted their cakes and eat it too. They wanted the ending to be super sad and dark and depressing but then last minute boom here everyone your happy ending so that you will love this show.
would've gave this a 7 if they ended the drama after the bad guy broke the cassette player. At least the ending would've been super impactful and would make up for the average writing.
no chemistry between the leads. long boring draggy episodes. plot holes everywhere.no jaw.
they put a gay couple in there for 3 minutes before killing them off. and then using Koo Yeon Jun's body and we dont know if he is still alive in his head.
also just realised the people at the end are not the people that we got to know. they're different people with different memories so why should i care if they get together.
... yeah it was bad.
1 star because the ending just pissed me off and made me waste my time.
That man does not have any kind of jaw definition stop lighting him from the bottom that man need some overhead lighting.

Trash
If you liked the original, the remake is unlikely to resonate in a similar fashion. The original's inherent charm is difficult to replicate in forms of acting, music, cinematography and overall storyline development. If you've already seen the original, it might be best to skip the remake, as it could be redundant and time-consuming. The remake is essentially a poor imitation of the original, with little to no improvement or innovation.
My sentiments are shared by many SD1D fans. However, the remake may find favour among die-hard K-Drama fans.

Good watch
I binged it in a day . my thoughts on this kdrama is that you have to watch it all the way to the end for it to make sense , half of time in the show I was confused but when you finish the show it makes sense . This is a good show to watch if you are looking to just binge something or to kill time . This does have a happy open ending . I would recommend this to a person who isn’t looking for something serious also this show does mention sucide . it is a solid seven and a half out of 10 for me the chemistry was really good but other than that I don’t know. Was this review helpful to you?

A Time Called You: A heartwarming and emotional time-travel romance
ReviewThe series is a unique and refreshing take on the time-travel genre. It is not your typical time-travel romance, as it does not focus on the mechanics of time travel. Instead, it focuses on the emotional journey of the characters.
The cast gives strong performances. Jeon Yeo-been is particularly good as Lee Yeon-seo. She brings a lot of depth and emotion to the role. Ahn Hyo-seop is also good as Goo Woong. He is charming and likable, and he has good chemistry with Jeon Yeo-been.
The story is heartwarming and emotional. It is a story about love, loss, and second chances. The series will stay with you long after you have finished watching it.
Negative Criticism:
Some viewers have criticized the show for its historical inaccuracies, such as the depiction of scooters in a 19th century Korean school. While this is a valid criticism, it is important to remember that the show is a work of fiction. The creators of the show were not trying to create a historically accurate depiction of Korea in the 19th century. They were simply trying to tell a heartwarming and thought-provoking story.
If you are looking for a heartwarming and emotional time-travel romance, then I highly recommend A Time Called You. It is a unique and refreshing series that will stay with you long after you have finished watching it.
My thoughts:
I really enjoyed A Time Called You. It is a beautiful and moving story about love, loss, and redemption. The drama is full of heart and emotion, and it will stay with you long after you finish watching.
I understand why some people might be critical of the drama's plot holes. However, I believe that the drama's strengths outweigh its weaknesses. The characters are well-developed and relatable, and the story is both heartwarming and heartbreaking.
If you are a fan of time travel dramas or heartwarming stories, I highly recommend A Time Called You. It is a drama that will stay with you long after you finish watching.

Enjoyed it ? ?
Well first of all i didnt watch the original series called "Someday or One day". So i really cant compare this to that one.For me i enjoyed the story . The story really made me think a lot which i liked . I really had to make a lot of theories 😶. I enjoyed the watch time. But if i have to say i am not sure about acting. Sometimes i really liked the acting some times i didnt.
One more thing , actually after ep 9 i just figured out the things and the twists so after that it became a little bit boring 😴 but its okk 👍 i guess
Well i loved the ending obv. I was really hoping that jun hee and si heon could meet in the future again . I am really happy for that ☺️ well u can see it as a open ending. It can be sad or happy upto your imagination .
In my opinion if you didnt watch the original one you can give it a go. Its not that bad . Obv the original one is best ( i guess i am not sure but i read reviews where people said that) but you can watch it too i think 😉
Thats it i guess hope my review can help you 💓

I feel like I had to cry more than I did
This kdrama has a really good plot, although confusing in the beginning. That made me to be more focused on understanding the plot than empathizing with the charecters and their stories. So when sad moments came I couldn't really find a feeling of crying (unless if the hurt one was in-gyu, his story was the less confusing and heart touching for me). I really adoted In-Gyu tho, he's the purest soul and deserves everything.I would like to talk more about Ming-ju in another post. At first when I was finishing the kdrama, I really hated her attitude and egoistic decisions, but after a time thinking about it I got the point and understood her behavior. But for less spoilers, I'm not mentioning more for now.
To resume, I really enjoyed the mystery, and making maps on my mind of every time-line.

amazing story; bad ending
Expressing my sentiments about this drama is challenging. Initially drawn by my favorite actor's role, I wasn't fully engaged in the first episode, leading me to pick it up later. Once I resumed, the compelling plot and captivating characters kept me hooked. Initially confused, I eventually grasped the storyline. I became deeply attached, but the ending left me profoundly disappointed. Similar to my experience with "See You in My 19th Life," the resolution, while they met again, didn't satisfy me, altering the entire show's impact. Was this review helpful to you?

Someone decided to make a Kdrama out of Tokyo Revengers, Steins;Gate, Erased and Your Name combined.
So someone watched Tokyo Revengers, Steins;Gate, Erased and Your Name and decided to make a KDrama out of these shows and I love it. The plot sounds simple, and in a way it is simple and generic, in terms of the time travel trope. I think the brilliance lies in how this trope is executed; after all every kdrama utilizes a subset of the already established tropes and what makes the memorable ones so good is how the trope is utilized and made effective. Perfect execution with the best parts of the shows without the drawbacks of each of them. However to understand what elements of each and in what linear combination, give rise to this show, you will have to watch it for yourself! Was this review helpful to you?

A beautifully-depicted drama
First of all, i should say that i haven't watched the Taiwanese version and don't have the intention to do so. Even though i love Cdramas very much, i don't think juggling between the two versions and comparing them is ok. I loved how this version depicted a time travel story.Story:
Time travel at the core with a very heart-warming romance. It can get a bit complicated, especially for binge-watchers, but if you pay attention to the years mentioned in each episode, you will get how the relationships are. I personally didn't find it confusing and we got to figure out who the main protagonists were and who were their counterparts.
Acting:
AHS, He is such a fine actor. have seen him in the past few dramas and i dare say he is getting better and better.
JYB, First time seeing her. She is very talented and presents a very true and believable character. The rest of the cast was also proper too. There are no voids here overall.
Writing:
The story is indeed complicated, but the writers didn't make it extra complicated. You have to pay attention to names and dates shown and there wouldn't be issues.
OST:
beautiful choice of songs. Each song matches the mood and scenery shown in each episode.
Overall, a very beautiful and romantic fantasy drama. Def a muct-watch!

ALOT ADO
I watched 9 full episodes than I just wikipedia'd it. It started great, then the story just devolved into something that I lost interest in. They had some scenes that didn't even make sense with the story & I especially hate when they do cameos to get extra watches ie: scene with Rowoon as gay love interest then immediately ends both just sucks & why was it relevent to the storyline as a whole. Again, the actors held up their part but the story was conveluted & too jumping back and forth into decades ust didn't do it for meWas this review helpful to you?
