Worth the hype?
Honestly, i went into this drama knowing it’s a going to be cliche story and don’t me wrong i like those but for some reason i didn’t like this as much. For me, the second lead couple are so MUCH better than the main lead couple. They seem to have more chemistry than the main lead couple. In my opinion, I didn’t like the acting of the male lead in this drama. I feel like they are try to make this actor more “serious” and “scary” in a way but those scenes were cringey. I mean i should expected that from a cliche drama i guess. Also, don’t me wrong, im not trying to say the actor isn’t good at acting. Personally, i’m a fan of his other dramas he has done and liked his acting in those dramas but i feel like he wasn’t right for this role. Fun for everyone!
Though this drama is very heavy on clichés, it has perfected them. Purposely going for clichés, the writers have achieved a fun, lighthearted show that viewers can enjoy. At times it can be annoying e.g. not recognising the FL but it’s still fun since it helps to provide fun awakes moments in the plot. As I write the word fun for the thousandth time in this review, I’m sure you get the gist. There’s no other way to describe it. One of the best drama's of the year for sure.The highlight of the drama is most certainly the second leads, who provide a less cliché experience for viewers, balancing the show out well. They’re most certainly a fan favourite. If you’re considering watching, it’s an easy drama to follow along overall and I’m certain you will like it.

Hits all the right spots
Here's a drama to binge watch with some warm tea and cold ice cream.If you take into consideration that it is based on a webtoon, they did a really good job, the cast is endearing, nothing really tragic happens, it's a very easy watch and guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
You can see all the plots, subplots coming a mile away, they hit all the possible cliches known to Dramaland and needless to say it's not my favourite type of drama, but it's such an easy watch, that I enjoyed it.

Sweet cozy romcom
it was full of cliches, but cliches are cliche for a reason lolit's a fun light watch.
really enjoyed the friendship among characters, also loved how chill gramps was. i liked the main couples story but second couple stole my heart.
it's good for when you are in mood of some wholesome romcom, get yourself a cosy blanket and hot coco for a top tier experience XD

Super fun!!!
You will surely be excited to watch every episodes and every episodes are worth it. Personally for me, I like how their acting skills are evolving from episode to another. Especially the whole cast. They're the best. I really appreciate how every role are being acted quiet amazingly by each cast and is being highlighted in every episodes. Even those short appearances, the food truck actor, the teenager that helped Ha-ri, or the ajumma who served food during their date. Honestly, the chemistry on or off-screen of the main couples are cute. You could see them being comfortable and supporting each other. There's no dull moment on set. Ha Ru is the female Clark Kent
This was the perfect pallet cleanser. A K Drama amuse bouche. After being sucked into so heavier storylines, this was the best way to refresh the mind. Going into this drama, you have to set the bar low. The cliches are abundant and loud. The characters aren't all relatable but they do offer some quirky moments.Our FL is using a wig (which looked more like extensions) and some blush to trick out ML chaebol into thinking she is someone else. If you are willing to overlook this, then you should be good to go for the remainder of the series. If not, put it on hold, as this train leaves the station and doesn't come back.
Again, I appreciate how light the storyline and characters are. The darkest moments are when they talk about Tae Moo's parents but even then, they glaze over it comparison to what other dramas tend to do. I do feel the ending was rushed and strange but when you think about it being only 12 episodes, it's clear they preferred to wrap things up quickly and provide more screen time for other things.
I'm very shocked at the high rating but I think it shows that sometimes, we want our dramas to be a complete escape of fluff and cringey behavior. That's what this is.

It's okay to be Cliche sometimes
If I had to explain this drama in one word then it would be "Cliched" . You might found every cliched romantic element in this drama. Someone might find plot similarities among "Married,not Dating" ,"What's wrong with secretary Kim" ,"1% of everything" etc. A self obsessed,filthy rich,highly educated boss, some legal agreements regarding marraige,not so rich employee under that handsome boss(protagonist),happy second lead couple,confessions while drunk; actually the most common elements of a romantic Kdrama could be found here. Yes!! it is justified since it is the cliche one .Obviously compromisations were made in the cinematography otherwise it couldn't get such ratings from respected other reviewers. Similarities in the plot might be found,like feeling romantic beside Han river,enjoying inside an amusement park. It is not a new thing for Kdramas. The way it was plotted , fresh warm romance could be found in ,either beside a beach or in a gloomy rainy day.So you might feel refreshed after watching such moments and would love to fell for your beloved once again. BUT END OF THE DAY YOU CANT SKIP ANY EPISODES . I have found this most cliched Kdrama a binge worthy one.
There are a lot of comic reliefs in this drama greatly weaved with some steamy intimate scenes as well. Importantly we have seen Kim Se Jeong in The Uncanny Counter as a tough actress ,it was balanced properly with her tenderness in acting in this drama .

Clichés, clichés and more clichés
Very fun drama to watch on days when you don't want to tire your mind with heavy and dramatic stories. Classic romantic kdrama with rich ceo ML and ordinary girl FL. And of course there is a 2nd ML just not interesting as it usually is. And as I said in the title, it's very cliche story, but done right so it doesn't get to boring personally.What I didn't like is how toxic dating is. ML forces FL into relationship (literally by contract lol), forcefully kisses her without consent and its a classic narcissistic guy who changes because of her. The second romantic pair also doesn't sit right with me. They have one night stand, comunication is of course nowhere to be seen and engaged within 2 months!
Not rewatching any time soon tho. It gets repetitive after a while. Good thing it only has 12ep, not 16. But overall, it's a fun drama.

Enjoyable to watch
This was the kind of series that grabbed me from the very beginning. The characters main characters were mostly likable, and if they were not, you got to like them as the series continued. Hyo Seop and Se Jeong have a great blend of chemistry in watching their strange relationship develop and become strong in the second half of the drama.The supporting cast fits rather well, but I did find some annoyance in the character of Yeong Seo. No criticism of In Ah, she plays her part well and is a perfect fit with Min Gue. In fact, their relationship is even more believable than the main characters.
The overall story is rather good, surrounded by a little mystery. As usual, there are a few antagonists they do their best to keep everyone apart.
Deok Hwa always plays a part you hate, but also enjoy at the same time. He never disappoints at being the thorn in the side of a happy story. Thankfully, even he isn't as bad as he could have been.
I think my only complaint is the series is that it was rushed at the end. The last episode you kind of get whiplash with them skipping ahead two years and not really showing the stories come together. You kind of wanted to see Da Gu give his blessing to his grandson's marriage, as well as showing his respect toward Ha Ri, but you never see him again after he goes to the United States for medical treatment. It just seems it could have been a bit more with everyone together, even showing them actually get married ... but it doesn't happen.
Other than that, it still is extremely enjoyable and gives a happy ending to all who deserves it. Great acting with a great story to match.

The situations that Ha Ri find herself in are hilarious and Tae Moo's unusual responses to her antics make for comedy gold. ABP is rom-com done right, and is lighthearted despite all the clichés. The secondary couple isn't too shabby either, and their story is also endearing. Other characters are also multi-dimensional, and I especially liked Tae Moo's grandfather who is a hoot. Love, love this drama.

Mood Boosting Fun Time
If you're looking for a mood boosting fun time, you've come to the right place!❤ I'm pretty sure you will see a picture of Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Se Jeong if you look up the word "chemistry" in the dictionary. Also probably Kim Min Gue and Seol In Ah. All of these actors had spades of chemistry with each other, and I was here for it.
❤ The friendships between the characters were literally everything. I loved how the best friends of the main characters have their own utterly beautiful romance.
❤ Kim Se Jeong as Shin Ha Ri was riveting. Someone likened her to Emma Stone, and I 100% agree. She played Ha-ri with such charm and vulnerability that I couldn't help but fall in love with the actress and the character.
❤ The supporting cast was absolutely brilliant. Even the characters with little screen time somehow made their scenes shine.
❤ The last episode was a bit disappointing. I felt like the show back peddled on some of the smart decisions made by characters to make it seem more "drama" filled than it needed to be. I perhaps might have enjoyed it more if I had not been watching it live - I think my expectations became too big with the wait between episodes.
