I LOVE THIS DRAMA AND IM GONNA MISS IT SM
Usually i don't enjoy watching dramas as their airing because i'm impatient and i don't like to wait LOL but seriously watching this drama weekly as it came out was one of my best decisions. The chemistry between Tae-moo and Ha-ri had me crying on the floor everytime i watched the episode. The romance is really fast-paced as there are only 12 episodes but to be honest i didn't even notice, so i'm sure a lot of people will also enjoy the shenanigans these two cuties get up to together! Furthermore Sung-Hoon and Yeong-seo, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM. I usually have no interest in second lead couples but these two were adorable, i was giggling everytime they came up, in love <3 The friendship/bromance/sismance between the lead and second lead couple was to die for, made me so happy to watch them! Lastly, BYUNGCHAN!!!!!! IM GONNA MISS THIS SHOW SO FREAKING MUCHHHWas this review helpful to you?
One of the Best K dramas I've seen in a long time.
It's really funny, sweet, some romance already, good looking casts, and great storyline. Love it so so much....everyone should watch this if you still haven't yet. I wish there are more episodes than just 12 episodes. Or make a season 2. Please!!! I can't wait for each episode each week. Just too long to wait?? My daughter and I watch this together. That's also our weekly bonding time too. Come out more romance and funny storyline like these. What happen to Park Seo Joon, Cha Eun Woo, and lee je-hoon. Come back and give us more of your great dramas. Was this review helpful to you?
COMMON THEME AND UNLIKELY CHEMISTRY
i have a lot of expectation on this drama since i enjoy rom-coms... but after watching half of the 12-part series, i dropped it. First, i don't like the chemistry and acting of the two leads, i appreciated the 2nd leads more actually. Secondly , the story line is so common and expected. A usual "cinderella " theme type of drama. Maybe , its because I watched Twenty-One, Twenty-Five first, where I appreciated the chemistry and acting of the two leads there, wherein, the leads of this drama failed to show in my opinion.Story wise, "A Business Proposal" has an obvious turn about of events and a noticeable "awkwardness" between the the two leads, which gives me the feeling of discontent, thus, ending up dropping the rest of the episodes.

One of the Best Rom-Coms ever!!
A Business Proposal, if not the best, is one of the best romantic comedies you can ever watch. Its romance and comedy are on point. And no matter how many clichés we've watched, they'll probably never be enough. ABP has all our beloved clichés. You name it, ABP has it.One of the reasons why this was great is the fact that it was never unnecessarily dragged. The story went in the right pace and we didn't have to wait a lot of episodes to see things get in line. Mondays were never as enjoyable as they were the 6 weeks this aired. Its only flaw was that it was just 12 episodes long and maybe for the same reason, *minor spoiler* the ending seemed to have been rushed a little.
The acting was fantastic. Whether it was Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Se Jeong, Kim Min Gue or Seol In Ah, everyone was perfect in their roles. There's lots of chemistry between the couples and also bromance and sismance that shouldn't be missed. The rest of the cast was amazing too. The soundtracks were all good but Love, Maybe is addictive. The direction, cinematography etc. were all very nicely done.
I'd recommend this a 100% !!!
If you're looking for a light-hearted show with not too much drama, A Business Proposal is what you need.
Happy Viewing :)

Grandfather
I hate the grandfather so much. He wanted his grandson to have a child but he oppose his gf. I like it because it has funny scenes and makes me laugh. I also like the part male lead gets jealous over Chef Min Woo. Shin Ha-ri is his employee and like Chef Min Woo for seven years. Male lead was busy with working and attending college so he didn’t have time to date anybody. They had a contract with each other.Male lead probably liked her from the start with the arranged marriage that he asked her to marry him.Was this review helpful to you?
Beloved romcom tropes done brilliantly
This show proves that when you take well-known storylines and write them well, the result can be delightful. Throw in an incredibly likable and talented cast and you have magic.Business Proposal is an ice cream sundae of a show with a sweet delicious cherry on top, and I am enjoying every minute of it. The second leads are just as delightful as the main characters, too! I'm sad this show is only 12 episodes, but I also realize that if they made it a full 16 episodes and delved more fully into some of the characters and their backstories it would take away part of what makes this show so much fun.
I am sad this show is almost over but I look forward to rewatching whenever I've had a bad day.

Well Worth the Watch
I so enjoyed this Kdrama, it had literally had so many funny moments in it, at first I thought another boss / love story but this was a little better and had more humor in it.This drama started with a bang and continued and the reason for this is that this drama is that it's fun and easy to watch, you will be swooning over the romance. whether it's the first lead or second lead, this drama is filled with amazingly passionate couple chemistry and makes this drama so swoon-worthy... A drama can't be any more cliché than this one, but the comic side of this drama is what kept going.
The cast were amazing, especially the main couples and the second main couples were just as funny if not more, you have a strong friendship between the two guys, and even stronger friendship between the girl, they each have they own story or funny moments but at the same time they always come together and be there for each other, you have a Grandfather who is so funny and determined but at the same time acceptable.
I did like the fact that it was 12 episode as opposed to the normal 16, however there are 1 hour long (which can be drag at times for Kdrama) but this was well worth the hours watched, the pacing was good and moved along really well.
Also the supporting actors in this drama. They were fun to watch. Be it the ML's grandfather or the FL's family members or coworkers. They all were a joy to watch on the screen. Especially the women of this drama were just too cute. A special shout out to Seo Hye Won and Im Ki Hong's characters. They both were just too good.
There are many other reasons to watch the drama which you would only know if you start this drama. So don't give a second thought and start this drama. As I assure you won't be wasting your time.
Overall: 110% Recommend

Junk food for the soul
I loved this drama because it took all the tropes that made me fall in love with kdramas to begin with, and enacted them beautifully. With shows that start light hearted and quickly turn to melodramas, it was refreshing to see a drama that didn't hide what it was.The actors were great, they played their characters well.
The 12 episode format was a refreshing change- no dragged out scenes or stories, and while sometimes it's necessary, on a show that's easy to predict and full of tropes, 16 episodes would have dragged it out.
I do take issue with the last episode, purely because I would've liked the last 20 minutes to have wrapped up each story nicely instead of bringing in a completely new element which gave us unresolved ends, but again, this drama is so faithful to tropes, it's followed the rushed ending for a brilliant drama trope. But I'm not unhappy. We knew where the characters ended-happy. Which is what we all need at the moment. After two years of bad news in the world, I personally enjoyed watching a drama that didn't make me feel depressed watching it. I can't wait to see where these actors pop up in other dramas.

The perfect medicine to de-stress
I knew that this drama would be the one FOR me as soon as I saw its spoilers and short clips circulating all over social media.Five minutes into episode one and suddenly your girl was on the hook.
I absolutely love business rom-coms and this was the treat I was looking for. It's a mix of She Was Pretty, What's Wrong With Secretary Kim and The Secret Life of My Secretary, so if you liked any of those shows chances are you will enjoy A Business Proposal.
It is relatively short - only 12 episodes - which makes it a fast watch with no unnecessary typical K-drama cliche tropes like amnesia, a breakup or the whole "we used to know each other when we were children but then something dramatic happened and we lost touch".
I felt like the last few episodes were a little repetitive and dragged out the drama's general narrative. Having both Tae-moo's grandfather and Young-Seo's father disapprove of their children's relationship was a bit too much and got to a point where it was exhausting and boring to continue watching. I would have preferred if instead of dragging that out they would have added more double date scenes where both couples are spending the day together.
The female lead was very lovable. A lot of people said she was cringe-worthy but I found her hilarious, especially when she was pretending to be someone else in front of Tae-moo.
Tae-moo was oftentimes compared to Lee Young-Joon (Park Seo Joon's character in WWWSK) but I do not see the resemblance, mainly because Lee Young-Joon was unbearable, too into his looks and himself while Tae-moo was more down-to-earth.
The friendship dynamics between Tae-moo and Sung-hoon and Ha-ri and Yeong-soo were very well developed and I especially enjoyed the second couple.

All the BEST clichés!
This was an adorable tongue-in-cheek romp through all the best tropes, clichés, and rom-com plots that Korea likes to throw into it's dramas. It never took itself too seriously or too lightly, and paid homage to all it's tropey predecessors with style and class.I rarely feel this way, but 12 episodes felt WAY too short, and I wished it would just keep going for the usual 16 episodes. Don't get me wrong, the story isn't rushed or cut off, I just wish I had more hours with my favourite Archaeopteryx and his Researcher.
I can't even count how many times I laughed out loud through this series, whether it be the intentionally daytime-TV styled over-dramatic filming of certain scenes or the awkwardness of a Jurassic dinosaur having a contract relationship with a woman acting as two very different people. Another unique feature was the way they paralleled the TV show the grandfather watched along with some situations happening to the main characters. It was an absolutely brilliant way to poke fun at it's own soapy melodramas that arose.
The acting was spot-on, with just the right balance of levity and seriousness, . It's lovely to see how a good script and good direction can make actors turn into unforgettable characters that you'll carry in your drama-loving heart forever. The ML and FL had fantastic chemistry with adorable skinship and the SML and SFL were definite *Couple Goals*. The friendships portrayed between all the characters were also *Friendship Goals*, and their interactions were a huge percentage of the humour.
Overall I suggest this drama to anyone looking for an adorable love story full of humour, parody, levity, sadness, seriousness, friendship, and food.

I watch this show because I saw a recommendation to watch this drama before Pirates Goblin Flag released so I give it a tryI was hooked because of Kim Sejeong and Seol In Ah chemistry as Shin Hari and Jin Youngseo, a pair of chaotic bff, everytime these two had scenes together I always laughing, kinda miss them together when the drama get more serious as their screentime together was decreasing, all in all my top favorite thing about this drama is the ramyun duo friendship
I love how Youngseo always on Hari's side through all of it, especially when Yoora and her minions being bunch of btches
and Hari always help Youngseo no matter what, one of my all time favorite friendship of all time
Shin Hari is the perfect daughter, best friend, and girl friend
the way her father talk about her not wanting to burden him was so heartwarming
her relationship with Hamin was typical siblings relationship, kinda wish more screentime for Shin Siblings
and as a girlfriend, I love how thoughtful she is for KTM, I just wish that she could more open up to him
Kang Taemoo was cute overall, what I like about him is he doesn't seems like the unreachable cold CEO, he's humble, well humble enough compare to the typical CEO from other drama
and he is Shin Hari's sunflower, I love that from him
Cha Sunghoon, the real epitome of cute-sexy, he's a whole ass mood everytime KTM was kinda full of himself aka self praising
his bromance with KTM was great, not over the top and cute
Jin Youngseo, I love how blunt she is, and she practically the 2nd daughter of Shin family
her and her cousin dynamic was only the 2nd to ramyun duo
YoungCha relationship, after they're dating seems like the nextdoor couple, their chemistry were wow, I really hope KMG-SIA could pull a LDW-YIN getting their own drama as main leads
for supporting characters, I really love R&D team 1, at first Mr Gye was like ugh I think I won't like him but episode after episode i understand his comedy, his love-hate relationship with Ms Yeo ( ◜‿◝ )♡
and Ms Kim is high-key funny
I think I'm the type who don't really care about the "trope" or "genre" as long as it done good then I would love it
It was a great romcom, though I really thing some of the scene could've done better, especially the ending, but overall I really love it

Still in the top!
After 580 watched dramas this is still in my top favourites and i think it always will be there.....I'm a big fan of serious CEO and ciderella storys and this is perfectly that.Already reawatched at least 5 times that i can reacall and always with the same excitement.
Loved everything about this drama <3
Having a lot of funny moments it softens up that seriousness in a really humorous way.
The chemistry of the actors is really good and matches perfectly with the characters.
I really would have loved to see and bee at the filming site when they had to film all the funny moments.
