Insipid drama.

Boring, flat and monotonous drama. The plot is based on nothingness itself, they give us the love story of a Superman and an Invisible Woman, who speaks little, does little and only knows how to say "I don't have enough experience, I'm afraid of disappointing you And she really disappoints, she looks like an overly spoiled 10-year-old girl who dresses like a 65-year-old lady. There is no adrenaline here, there is no breaking point, no conflict, no antagonist, no tests to overcome, everything develops without taste, without smell and without color , flat, boring, sleepy. And indeed in the episode 19 I fell asleep and then abandoned this, it is absolutely not my cup of tea. It's good to have communication and get along but I want to see how this chemistry works when the couple faces a problem or conflict and this doesn't appear in the drama.

If you love soft spoken people, this one’s for you!

Yesterday, I finish watching this drama. Let me tell you, it’s a masterpiece! I’m not really a fan of a modern drama because I usually watched historical Wuxia/ Xianxia/ Xianhua. For me, it’s very rare to binge watch a modern drama (I finished it within 2 days) and this one is epic! I would like to start with their voice.

Their voice is so soothing in the ear! I might fall asleep when they’re talking to each other or singing. I love how soft he talks to her, they’re very passionate when it comes to their careers too. This drama is such a vibe!

Yes, a domineering boss is such a vibe, but this one? He’s such a lowkey person. But when it comes to her (fl) he is loving her loudly, even though he doesn’t want fans to know them (their relationship) because it may affect the girl as he is a renowned dubber.

A man who cooks will always have a special place for my heart. Also, I want to mention the second leads, Duo Bing jie and Fengyangsong (not sure if the names are correct) I love the so much! Thank you for ruining your friendship 😭🙏🏻 When I say I love them, I meant it. When they first appeared on the screen together, I knew something was going on!

Before I stop yapping about this drama, I just want to appreciate how this drama talks about historical instruments! Also, there’s no miscommunication in this couple! I LOVE THEM! no conflict between them and no antagonist, just friendship and good vibes. I love how their circle of friends doesn’t get jealous of someone else’s fame!

Lovey-Dovey Foodies with Chinoserie Songs in the Background

This is a slow paced, feel good drama with a high budget that paid for beautiful scenery, good camerawork and spectacular music numbers. Our main couple is a pair of quiet and talented people: a famous and mysterious voice actor and a promising young composer and singer. I had an amazing time watching the drama and listening to the OST afterwards. It made me want to travel to Guilin and learn how to cook more Chinese meals.

For my personal taste, I would have a like more dynamic in the main couple relationship, even without breakups is possible to make the protagonists struggle with outside factors - like disapproving family, unwanted suitors, etc - and grow as people and as a couple because of it, On Love Me, Love My Voice, everything happens kind of easily and our couple do not even sweat for it. Another thing that I would like was to have more screen time for the secondary couples, especially the tanned, strong but shy older voice actor and the bright, youthful protagonist's best friend. I could not imagine more different people but they were strangely appealing.

If you liked the voice acting theme, I suggest: I Hear You
If you liked the slow paced romance without breakups, I suggest: Love 020

Lovely romantic, musical, culinary and tourist trip

Very cute series, with the slow evolution of the relationship between a famous but anonymous voice actor (also a cardiologist), and a young FL, student, composer and singer online. The context essentially revolves around a dubbing studio and its team.
The story tells this very slow-burn romance (1st kiss episode 19 :), in a poetic, gentle and sensitive way.

PROS:
+ I love ML. He's the BEST boyfriend, attentive, respectful, handsome, talented. Green flag !!!
+ The voices are important and well highlighted.
+ Particular care is given to the images, the costumes (very beautiful, particularly the FL's dresses), the landscapes, the framing.
+ The OSTs are awesome
+ The storyline is gentle: no twist, no villain or love triangle, no break-up.

CONS:
- I don't think there is such a perfect boyfriend in real life :( :(: respectful, super devoted, ultimate caring,... and with the patience of an angel!
- The FL is a little bland. She's shy, OK. But her character doesn't "shine", doesn't evolve.
- some characters are excessive: the cousins' hyper-protection, the shyness of the undeclared lovers,...

=> Series which allowed me to rediscover Tan Jian Ci, whom I would like to see again in contemporary romantic series.

very boring show .

I really do not like the show because it has no story at all . two strangers who did not even meet each other , they just fall in love because of their voice . there is nothing except for messaging on phone , smiling at each other , eating food and traveling .
In this drama , all the casts life are so easy and unrealistic . the female lead character is also annoying because he sees Qiang qing ci as his idol not as his boyfriend whenever he tries to touch her she is so nervous i sometimes feel like he is harassing her .

story somehow feels like a dream story for a girl , as he gets a good looking , rich , simple , famous boyfriend with no fault , who can even cook and never dated before . i mean , is the writer living in her dreams ?

story has same faults as of love 020 and i have to drop both dramas .

because of lost you forever i have high expectations for tan jianci in this drama , but because of boring and unrealistic story i can 't continue anymore .. lets meet him in love has fireworks ..

mismatch feelings

Greetings, everyone! I recently enjoying a delightful and uncomplicated drama. The actors portrayed their roles with grace, and the narrative showcased a seamless transition as the characters got to know each other. The film beautifully visualized mutual respect for personal boundaries, emphasizing the genuine care they showed for one another, particularly during moments of need. The only minor drawback was a repetitive discussion about the same recipes, which, while a tad off-putting, did little to detract from the overall charm of the storyline.

They could use more variation of music than just using slowly(the opening song) constantly when romantic scenes occur which is why music is rated at 7(they also over used different music too) if they just used a few more songs other than that in the episodes my rating would be higher. Another gripe I have is the weird muted talking while music just plays over them which feels very out of place; why not lower the music so you can hear them talk(like at EP 15 6:00~ where music plays but you can still hear them) but continue cutting to future bits cause it's very immersion breaking. Continuity was off twice but that's it

Worst drama with no story

This is one of the worst drama I have seen till now, I did not even know how it gets this much higher ratings...
It feels more like a dream of a teenage girl where he gets a perfect boyfriend who is good looking, Best at cooking, popular, gentle, ...

We all know these types of things are nothing but imagination and I really do not like these types of dramas.. I always prefer dramas who are at least realistic...

In this drama everyone's life is so easy, cool but I prefer drama where we can see how to endure hardships..

Worst drama ever...

Just Bad

Let me preface by saying I really like TJC and ZY but this drama was not it. 33 episodes of nothing.

FL is supposed to be 22 but acts like she’s 12 and ML is supposed to be like 26 or 28 but acts like he’s in his 30s. Her character is like a lost puppy who can’t really do or say anything and he’s apparently the most talented man in the world w all the time in his hands (like please you’re telling me he’s a doctor, voice actor, and really good at cooking). Anyway the age gap is giving creepy because this grown man who’s never been in a relationship before falls in love w a college student who acts like a helpless child. (The scene where he’s sick and she comes over and he feels how cold her hand is and he goes “I meant to tell you, don’t wear skirts in the winter you need to dress warmer”) like hello is she an incompetent child who doesn’t know how to dress herself or is he just a condescending mansplainer??

It felt more like he was a mentor teaching her the ways of life than her boyfriend because their convos have no substance just like their characters.

A cute fluffy romance

Just 10 episodes out for the moment however, the story is lights and so sweet. The chemistry between the leads is so cute since the beginning. I really like the relationships surrounding the leads, wether its GS and her family, or her roommates or bandmates or MQC with his friends or colleagues.
I'll update after a few more episodes, however for the moment this drama only add a little bit of sweetness in your life.
There hasn't been any moments of stress nor any moments where you want to punch a character or erase it. All of them are really cute and nice.

I also find it interesting to see the world behind the dubbings of dramas.

It’s NOT GOOD

Many reviewers here are loving it- calling it light fluffy no frills drama. No frills yes, but oh SO BORING!! Yes that’s what it is- dull and boring.

I love sweet and fluffy dramas! But this-The storyline is flat. There are scenes where it’s like a cooking class, teaching the audience what recipes to use for various Chinese dishes. Then there are scenes where it’s like documentaries - educating the audience about Chinese culture and history. The cast actors are mainly voice actors- so again it’s like they are educating the audience what do voice actors really do, and why they are important to society.

The romance and chemistry is quite sweet, but really not enough to keep me going. Just too difficult to continue watching this.

If there is anything to love, it's the freedom to drop it and never look back

It is always sad to see a drama have so much potential and then lose all of it in the first 3 episode, this could have gone so far and done so well instead it stayed right where it started, stagnant, dull, annoying.

I have watched 16 episode and there is no character development, no plot, no plot twist, no plot development, no obstacles, no setbacks, no punch, no pull. It is just a bunch of 'designed to be cute fluffy' moments strung together in a pretty backdrop with pretty people wearing subpar clothing and eating overhyped food.

*It is less like a drama and more like a food blog, a side of recipe with too much useless shit around it.*

The romance started unrealistic, gave a glimmer of hope and fell flat. It was so repetitive and so mind numbing. The least they could have done was shown some character development in the romance part but no, Mr Mo almost looks predatory when faced with Sheng's exceedingly childish reactions. I get shy, I get first love and the jitters of first relationship- this was not that.

I had hopes from this show and the trajectory of the rise, decline and death of those hopes would have made a better drama.

If anyone wants to watch it still, I suggest watching highlight compilation on youtube, if any. It would be a better use of your time for an equal, or better, enjoyment and returns.
