I cannot adequately put into words how much I love this drama. It's everything and it means so much to me. I don't have a single complaint, I just love it so much: the characters, the setting, the story, the soundtrack, everything. It's so well written and well acted and filmed beautifully and waiting for the next episode was agonising. I'm devastated this drama has ended and I will be looking for another drama that captures what this one does for a very long time. This drama just makes you feel so much, I've cried so many tears, and I adore it. The characters are so real and vivid and my heart bleeds for all of them. Bravo!Was this review helpful to you?

this show had me addicted and made me come back to continue watching episodes day by day. i literally never missed an episode and nothing was going to keep me from watching it. i have never seen a show that has something to do with shamans but this idea was probably the most creative thing i have seen so far. yeomwha pmo bro i swear every 2 seconds i wanted to punch her off my screen. bong-su or jang yoon-bo (spoiler) was a very funny character and def my fav. when he took over gyeon-yu's body at the start, it had me giggling in my bed like a crazy person. gyeon-yu and seong-a have crazy chemistry and i need another show with there actors rn. i hated that there was a love triangle but it was bound to happen :( my boi ji-ho deserved someone like me bru #needthat hehe. anyway i'm not gonna say nothing too crazy but this show was such a fun experience and i will be missing weekly episodes (at least we'll see cho yi-hyun in aouad 2 >:) )Was this review helpful to you?
Head Over Heels: The Drama I Didn’t Expect to Love
Started Head Over Heels with zero expectations… ended up completely hooked.No toxic love triangle.
The second male lead? A genuine green flag.
Shamans, ghosts, rituals — surprisingly fascinating.
Both ML and FL have their own layered, well-written stories.
ML playing two roles — himself and an evil spirit — was such a standout performance.
It’s a feel-good blend of love, friendship, shamanic traditions, and mother–daughter bonds. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll find yourself attached to every character.
Episode 10 felt a little off, and honestly, this show deserved 16 episodes. I wanted a glimpse into the friends’ future — maybe a reunion scene. Still, the happy ending felt right.
If you like high school love stories, this one is a must-watch.

FIRST EP DONE AND I'M ALREADY HOOKED!!!!
I'm literally Head over heels for this series, I'm in love with the cast because they both starred in SCHOOL2021 with their love interest and now - THEY'RE LITERALLY THE MAIN LEAD - like this is already eating. Song-a is a shaman which is basically someone who can see ghosts and one day she met Gyeon-U who's cursed and this girl fell IN LOVE with this guy and ngl I would too. They end up at the same school and the 2 episode is what got me cuz like THE TENSION WAS CRAZYYYYYYYYYY. I don't wanna spoil too much but this an amazing drama to watch PLUS it says Head Over Heels SEASON 1!!!!!! so me being delulu I BELIVE THERE WILL BE A SEASON 2!!!!!!! A very good romance drama
now that's a romance kdrama right in up alley.we had an interesting male & female lead with unique characteristics which actually affect their characters and their lives instead of following the cookie cutter model. her being a shaman and his history with shamans was a good setup. the love triangle was also great, with the writers making it the comedic relief of the story rather than drama. all the characters had back stories ( even the so called villains) which made them complex and made me look at their actions with more nuance.
im not usually interested in the shaman stuff but they brought out the story well by making it a fantasy aspect. i thought i would be confused by it all but the drama did a good job of showing/explaining things without spoon feeding stuff.
this drama had the exact amount of angst and yearning that i crave. the yearning even till the end, chef's kiss.
both the leads were great and had good chemistry, hope they work together more in the future

Watching Head Over Heels felt like falling in love for the first time—soft, slow, a little painful, but so incredibly worth it. From start to finish, this drama wrapped my heart in a gentle grip and refused to let go.The storytelling was delicate yet impactful. Each episode was a slow unraveling of emotions, not just between the main leads but also within themselves. What made it so beautiful wasn’t just the romance, but the growth, the vulnerability, the quiet longing that spoke louder than words.
And let’s talk about the leads—the chemistry?? INSANE. They didn’t need grand gestures or dramatic confessions. A single glance, a brief touch, or that one secuil kiss was enough to wreck me. TVN, you knew what you were doing. And yes, I’ll forgive you for making us wait that long.
The cinematography was a dream—soft lighting, intentional silences, and visuals that matched the tender pace of the narrative. It didn’t rush to please; it built a connection, slowly, just like real feelings do.

A happy one. Not just in the "they end up together" way—but in the "they found peace, they chose love, and they healed" way. That’s what made it so satisfying.

I started watching it with less expectations which turned to be one of the bests of all time. All actors and actresses are excellent in their job, especially the leads. The storyline is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. How far will you go to save your first love? The characteristic of main leads are actually quite different and realistic. My thoughts on Head over Heels:
Now, first things first, this isn’t your typical rom-com. The first 6 episodes were more romance and comedy compared to the last 6. The last 6 tend to get more emotional and darker. Especially because Seongah and Gyeonwoo are trying to get Bongsu to cross over. The only thing that I wish could’ve been better was the ending. It would’ve done way better with 16 episodes. The last two episodes were rushed and I think that’s the only flaw of this drama. The acting was off the charts. I’ve been wanting a good Kdrama to watch and this really got me thinking, why can’t they make more dramas like this? The trope is pretty unique. It’s been a long time since I watched a drama like this and it was a refreshing concept. You will 10000% like this drama if you’re into fantasy rom-com. I found the SML refreshing too. He wasn’t too bright in the first two episodes, but had some character development. They all had great character development tbh. I found the big group of friends in episode 12 really nice too. They came rushing over to Gyeonwoos house just to meet Seongah. The story overall was really nice, but I wish Yeomhwa got a better punishment though. MUST WATCHWas this review helpful to you?
Absolutely loved this gem of a series!
Head over Heels completely stole my heart. From the very first episode, I was hooked by the incredible chemistry between the characters and the emotional depth of the storyline. The bond between Ji Ho, Gyeon Woo, Seong-A, and even Bong Su was so raw, real, and beautifully portrayed. It’s rare to see such genuine friendship and loyalty explored in such a touching way.What starts off as lighthearted and fun quickly becomes a heartfelt journey of love, sacrifice, and healing. The romantic angle felt a little sudden at first, but it developed naturally and became one of the most heartwarming parts of the series. I especially loved how the show explored different forms of love – not just romantic, but also love for family, friends, and one's purpose.
The music was stunning, the acting top-notch, and I found myself smiling and crying through so many scenes. This is definitely one of those dramas I’ll be rewatching. I only wish we had a few more episodes to explore the ending further. Still, what a beautiful ride this was!

K-Drama "Head Over Heels" is indeed a very interesting and entertaining drama. The storyline is well arranged, full of surprises that make the audience never bored. The actors' plays are also very convincing and manage to bring each character to life with full of emotion. The combination of romantic and comedy elements makes this drama so special and touching. No wonder many viewers described this drama as one of the best K-Dramas ever watched. I felt sad for the Evil Spirit
It was a good series where I can delve deeper and understand more the Shaman World. It was kind of cute how they presented it and somehow insightful.Though I am not sure how realistic the Shaman Things and Ritual did on this series but if it was close enough it was amazing.Moreover, I felt bad and sad for the Evil Spirit. It gave us an idea that not all branded evil can be evil. Maybe they are powerful but its up to them if they will cause harm to others. My heartache for the last two episodes and my eyes really in tears - or maybe its because of my runny nose. Nonetheless, it was sad to say goodbye.
I dropped School 2021 before, but it looks like I need to watch it again because of the two characters that's what their effect to me. They're cute and good.

Best drama of 2025
A very beautiful tale of a shaman and a boy who hated shaman. My boy gyeon-u deserves the world. And my seong a .. our heaven and earth fairy.... She's really brave, determined and sweet.... Can't forget bongsu... A child who just wanted to be loved and be a grown up.... Ji ho most supportive best friend and second lead... Everyone acted so well. You can literally differentiate between gyeon u and bong su.... It's amazing... And how all of the three were ready to do anything for seong a.... I loved all of them .. I was scared they may ruin the ending but .. it ended well. Everyone has a good ending.... I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT❤️❤️This drama is definitely worth of all stars and review... If you're planning to watch ... Go ahead without thinking . It's worth your time ... And emotions ..🩷🤧
