I really like the story specially the story was not that different at compare to other story but the timeline was different and that’s why I think the story looks more different as others drama . Honest review about the show
Ok so listen I just finished with this tremendous dramatic drama + w the juiciest plot. This drama is so nice overall everything is just so perfect, it feels real it feels dramatic, it gives us the perfect rich vibes and the plot is just amazing and it never gets boring. Now what needs to be said: HUGE shoutout to the actors, literally they’re gorgeous, and their actor skills are amazing just simply because you can feel their feelings and you just feel nervous while watching this. Also the uncle is HOT ASF. What I didn’t liked about this show tho, is that Dong is so unbelievably stupid. I just can’t take that especially rich woman from dramas, always have to be THAT unbelievable brainless. It’s giving “lady useless rich woman” vibes. I agree that we obv have to keep her ladylike and fragile to add some spice and let the man help BUT she just never learnt her goddamn lesson and always had to make it worse and never even paid for her actions. She always just played the freaking victim and she couldn’t even freaking shoot a guy several times to save the guy she loved. She was useless and just made things worse. I mean why make out w the dude meanwhile U JUST SHOT HIM ONCE and it’s obv that he is not dead?! Also why u pretend to do what ur lover says but then do the opposite. I hate that woman always get categorized as weak but THIS WEAK?! to not even be able to shoot was the peak. She just bawled her eyes out and tried to do everything on her own. I feel like she believed everything they said. She just believed things without giving it a thought and acted recressly. The uncle was a goddamn god he loved and praised her even for her dumbest mistakes and even tho she STABBED him several times, he still trusted her and she can’t even shoot at a guy who is about to kill him?! This is so fucked up honestly. The uncle WAS the show. He carried honestly and was just the perfect landlord. He acted careful and respectful. That girl missed out Fr. I feel bad for his previous fiancé bc I mean imagine someone substitutes you w a maid 💀. This show had so much potential. I wished the episodes would have been longer and that Dong would have used her brain at least at the end of the drama. Not everything needs a happy ending ofc but we could have avoided this big mistake. Also in the last episode she encounters a guard that looks like him? I didn’t quite got the ending. But also that the SIS was never sick?! Like girl why u just found out at the ending out of no where and w not before?! This could have been so useful. I also wish that they would have gone more into details like the map from the Dong family. The outfits and the locations tho are just so amazing 🤭. I definitely think this show is worth watching, simply because of the plot and the aestethic. Its just wonderful and perfect. Perfect but want season 2
Dai Gaozheng , the acting was so addictive . It was like I fell in love with fang tianyi . What an amazing plot and perfect scenes with miraculous chemistry and Charming look ...Male lead was so addicted ...I was so addicted to ever second ...I dont know how many scenes I replayed again and again . ..But the ending if he is alive they could have shown not if wedding scene then atleast a romantic so That viewers could have felt relieved...because every one of us is desperate to see them together . It would have been perfect icing on this cake .This is the favourite mini seires i have ever watched ..with minimum charactes it came out perfect ...I hope so there will be a season 2 ....#SEASON2 plzWas this review helpful to you?
it's a wonderful drama except the heart Breaking ending .
The whole drama,cast,acting everything is good enough. But I think the ending should be changed .Except the ending this drama deserve 10 out of 10.It should be a second season where we can see that the male lead was not died.The security who exactly looks like the male lead ,he should be the original male lead. when I watched the ending I thought it that the male lead was not died and he was kidding with the female lead.But I was shocked when I completed the drama.But it was too good.And I will wait for the second season .I hope in season 2 they will be together.Was this review helpful to you?
What the hell was that?
That was something for sure, first of all the story was honestly great. I loved the dynamics and it plot is actually quite interesting and has so much potential but it was so wasted. The script writing is not good at all cause I felt like the story's potential was wasted because of it. The plot was too rushed and the FL was way too clingy to the ML and how did she go from hating him to loving him in like 2 days? Honestly think it could have been such a nice story if only they had executed it better. The acting was the only thing that kept me watching. The actors a are honestly mesmerising and they all look stunning they've don't an amazing job considering they didn't have much to work with. The music was lovely too. It wasn't too bad to watch but I wouldn't watch it again. I just feel like the story had so much potential wasted. it's melodramatic and cliche in all ways but strangely enticing and addictive. keeps you hooked till the end even though you know damn well you've read tons of such stories in your angsty teens. but sometimes that's all you need. amazing cast. extremely. hot. male lead!!! i swear he is the most attractive actor i've ever seen!!! his charm and subtle seduction through the screen was to die for. loved and hated the ending. ml's death wasn't so necessary. but i liked the timeskip. fl gets badass and the rookie soldier omg that's such a great idea. so much potential for a 2nd season! im praying!!! i really want to see the story progress with fl and the rookie. excellent job for a mini series. it was my first cdrama, glad to have had such a wonderful experience.Was this review helpful to you?

Everyone Is Mental In The Governor’s Mansion
Literarily, the only positive thing I have to say about this mini-drama is that the ML looks good in uniform. Other than that, it’s a dumpster fire.Which is disapointing, because the premise had some potential. FL is a rich girl engaged to a guy from even richer and more influential family. But then her entire family gets murdered (for a reason unknown at this point) and she gets taken by the man she believes to be responsible for the entire thing. She escapes, tries to seek help and protection in her fiancé’s home, but discovers that her former maid is already there and she stole FLs identity (and future husband). FL is then forced into the role of a maid and—to complete the tragedy bingo—it turns out that the dude who kidnapped her (and supposedly murdered her family) is the owner of the house, the uncle of her former fiance and the governor of the city. She swears vengeance, but knows it’ll be almost impossible to pull off.
Nothing groundbreaking, hundred other dramas start with almost identical opening, so half-decent writer should whip out a script for this story with one eye closed and one hand tied behind their back. Unfortunately no half-decent writers were involved in creation of this monstrosity, so instead of a bit of entertainment the viewers were served a psycho ML and a plot that relies solely on forced misunderstandings and sexual harassment.

So, it’s obvious pretty much from the very beginning that FL has it wrong and the Governor isn’t the man responsible for her family’s murder and he wants to protect her from whoever is the true bad guy. But that’s based on what the audience knows (and mostly based on how 100 other dramas like this work)—based on what FL knows, the dude was there, she saw him killing her nanny, he kidnapped her, he offered 0 explanation for any of it AND THEN HE CONSTANTLY FORCED HIMSELF ON HER, ruined her by pretending they had sex and then forced her to be his personal maid. And have I mentioned he gave her 0 explanation/excuse for all the shit he put her through?! And also made her shoot people she believed to be loyal servants of her family (he knew they were traitors, but of-f*%#ing-course he doesn’t give her that info)!
At this point, whether he killed her family or not, he deserved to be stabbed by FL.
And he was.
But he had a gall to blame the FL, because he luuuvs her (secretly) and he protected her (in between sexually harassing her constantly despite her obvious disgust and repeated pleas to stop), and how could she not divine it from all that abuse that he was in fact on her side. The girl he loves stabbed him and now his feelings are hurt.
Sorry, but that’s just a piece of crap and I have 0 patience for it.

The subs were saying it's chaotic outside and I was reading it's erotic outside.
This was so OTT that I couldn't help but love it! Like Mhiss A said in their review, it has a Lakorn vibe. It went to those dark corners that a cdrama wouldn't dare to go. You could say that this holds that aggressive ml feels that old timeys like Too late to say I love you or other Wallace Chung stuff usually had but not just. It has the Lakorn combo of ridiculousness plus spice which will not let you abandon it. Of course, you have to abandon your brain first and watch it completely with that one guilty abandon viscera of yours, and then you can fully enjoy this.The experience wouldn't be this good if the actors did a bad job. Besides the main leads' pretty decent acting and firecracker chemistry, the primary supporting characters were good too. I especially liked the mother/grandmother and the sister.
I had been passing on this drama for some time acting like a total snoot until I stumbled upon their latest work, forever love, and thought to give this a check first. I thought I was not ready for this live action counterpart of amazon self-published bookzillas, but the hell I am gonna be tracking all the upcomings from this genre (sub-genre). But they need to have the perfect proportion of hotness and hilarity without being a sex comedy. Like this.

All Actors and Actresses in this CAST are amazing in their acting skills and deliverance.
Unfortunately, the real Villainess in this storyline are the Director and the Script Writer, they ended the life of the Governor in the last EP.
Save your tears, coz this Drama doesn't end well.
I don't know why people didn't like it this was a very well created drama and down to earth feeling not like after getting shot 5 times the MC would come back to life its just Amazing drama

Hot damn! Heart break!The actress for mother/grandmother did an amazing job. Her stift yet swiftness was portrayed beautifully. Love her character and or the actress!
Female lead:
Can't blame her for being ignorant. She grew up in a time where there is no internet. Rich girl like that stayed at home and followed old traditional ways of training to be a good wife, obedient and quiet woman. Her entire household was murdered in front of her, her only surviving half sister betrayed her. You can't blame her for being suspicsious of the first threatening thing and person, especially experiencing such trauma. To fall for the nice people who give you warmth and kindness. Actress has a nice voice (even if it is dubbed).
Male lead:
Him being a normal doting guy with the NOT FL made him uninteresting and boring. He's eye candy, because he's got that dominant alpha macho arrogance that we all hate to admit we love. Hate and Love. Love to hate and hate to love. Also kinda masochist-ish. OR just an easy target for stabs and shots (Starwars troopers CAN'T MISS him).
I'm surprised that the uncle got everything and first pick before the nephew. I thought Chinese always give all the good stuff to the youngest boy first or eldest boy of the youngest generation. ... Because they will carry on the Last name. In this case they gave all the good stuff to the 2nd son/uncle?! The young ones are always spoiled because they get special treatment and such. At least from my asian (chinese) family.

Its a good story. Definitely worth watching it. It doesn’t have much of a love action more like love tension. MAIN MALE LEAD IS HOT AS. Main female lead is smart and pretty. Im not disappointed at all. i watched it all in one day.
