Excellent Year End ?
I saw reels, Li Yun Rui in white hairs flying in air with a hoodie. Loved him as Yuan Shen in LLTG😍 After DONG HUA DIJUN;Li Yun Rui is the only C drama actor ; i liked in white hairs. He was so comfortable in that look👍👍👍
I was curious, thought will watch only one episode , but that bow in shot where they fell and overlap each other took my 😮
REBORN/REBIRTH is my favorite topic including revenge. This one was only rebirth, but still interested. So, as episodes moved on and story got unfold it was pleasure watching this drama.Everything was perfect; the story telling; execution for every characters was nice. Last one year i was loosing interest. in C Drama and lost all interest in K Drama. So, mostly fwd the scene and watch because story is predictable. Sometimes, you come across the drama where why those characters did things director is not able to explain. Here each and every characters were explain ,motives were explained . A very detailed drama .I was not able to fast forward or skip scene. as they were interconnected. I finished watching it today on this weekend ; and fully satisfied . Couple onscreen chemistry is good. Although, i have never seen FL before ; saw her first time , but she was into the character as if she is Dou Zhao herself. End was totally satisfying.

MUST WATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am fed up by sad and opening ending in the Cdramas, I wait till last episode so that I know whether it's happy or sad or opening ending. I very very happy that writers of this show didn't follow other writer's path and give us happy ending. Now, the PLOT!!!!!!!!!!! Its so good, very episode kept me on hook. THE COUPLE IS ONE OF THE BESTEST COUPLE IN HISTORY OF C-DRAMA AS THEY WAS NO MISUNDERSTANDING JUST LOVE TOWARDS EACH OTHER❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ They are so coordinate with other. It was start with admiring each other and end up together❤️❤️❤️❤️ It's been said that after marriage the love shown in dramas are so good but HERE, Oh my, 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 our ML flirts with FL every time he gets irrespective of places. The way he expressed his love for Shou Gu from his eyes...🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠
Apart from MCs, the friendship between FL, her cousin sister and their friend is best. Yes, some situation arisen where there is kind of argument but friend knows FL always want best for her.
I love when FLs are shown as smart, intelligent, self sufficient and capable which Shou Gu is. 😎😎
What some fresh for me is after rebirth she didn't relay on getting revenge for her death in past life rather she go independent and start her business to be self reliant, as well as focus on herself and her loved ones only. She is forgiving as she even mend her relationship with her step sister when she able to understand that people from past and present can be different.
Where as Song Mo, God he so GREEN FOREST!!!!!!!!!🥰🥰🥰 Although he had his doubt on Shou Gu initially yet he decide to trust her. There is line which he said looking at her, "HERE COME MY BACK UP". My God, I was gone like 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠 He always trust her to be his backup in every situation. Never hide anything from her.
The acting of the actors are also so top trie. I am very happy for the actor who play Song Mo to get lead in historical drama. I very much enjoyed his acting since Love and Redemption.

this is my taste
Putting aside the theme of rebirth I am very satisfied with the plot of this drama from its politics, add the emperor's POV, the mystery behind the case, the plot twist and others are perfect for me. The chemistry between our two main characters is also felt to the point of understanding each other without words and their closeness always makes me blush.I am also amazed by the female protagonist who is wise, brilliant in planning, graceful, intelligent, kind and a reliable businesswoman. Especially she has a strong stance so that she is not easily controlled or easily shaken by other people's words.
At first I just tried watching it without any expectations, but this turned out to be the best historical drama I've ever watched so far.

binge worthy drama
This drama was recommended to me by a friend. After watching a number of mediocre or even poor dramas, Joy of Life season 2 & Lost you Forever season 2, among the bigger disappointments in 2024, it was nice to come across this drama.Lots to like about this drama, the plot, the leads, pacing of story, secondary characters, etc., there is little to compain about. The sign of a great drama is when you don't have the urge to fast forward through scenes, skip episodes or even drop the drama altogether. In fact you are eagerly waiting for the next episodes to drop which is the case with Blossom. None of those nauseating song interludes that serve little purpose other than to fill up screen time. Liked the male lead in Love Like the Galaxy, and remembered the female lead from a couple of dramas (due mainly to her distinctive ears) . Both of them were likeable and delivered big time here.
One of the better dramas of 2024, and definitely binge worthy

Late watch as always
Saw this drama having hype a year ago, but I think I was more interested in other things and was in a drama drought( Not interested in watching dramas for a time). So a year later I was having a crave to watch one, I was debating whether to continue dramas I couldn't finish or just watch something new, after seeing the first episodes of Glory(2026) and watching a short costume drama, and seeing Blossom(2024) among the most popular chinese drama's, suddenly I just decided to watch Blossom(2024). As expected the hype wasn't for nothing, although the start may seem like the usual start of a regression drama, it was still interesting. After that we get to see mostly what the female lead and what her situation was, the male lead was still there but not as much as the female lead and they were also setting up his story, I guess you could say he wasn't the highlight, it was always the female leads family and adversaries up until when the main leads meet, that's where we see a little bit more of the male leads character and what he was like before he had white hair. We also get to see the crux of the story, The Emperor and the Duke of Ding and what there relationship was. Anyways I don't want to make a summary of the drama lmao, this is for documentation so it doesn't matter. I gotta say I really like how they made the first half of the drama more female lead centered then for the second half it is mostly male lead centered. After the disappearance of Wang Xingyue from the story, the story was revolving around the male leads situation. It also fits the character of the female lead, at first she had to rely on herself most of the time and she didn't have anyone outside her friends and family to care about, and lastly she was afraid of love due to what happened to herself and her mother. After meeting Song Mo she finally loved someone and cared for someone outside her friends and family. Her family then took a backseat and she was always together with the male lead. When they got married the focus of the story went to the Song Mo's family with Wang Xingyue popping up here and there. That was until Dou Ming died and shortly after Wei Tingyu, after that the story was truly focused on the Song/Jiang family then later on the Royal family. I gotta say though I thought there were more of the characters Dou Ming and Wei Tingyu, especially with that first episode. Didn't expect them to die just like that and be used as a removal of Wang Xingyue to the story. I kinda hated the love triangle between the leads and Yuantuan, he was literally the matchmaker for both in their previous life, but then I guess they wanted that as enough reason for him to betray Prince Qing. I like the emperor pretty crazy scheme, but damn I guess he failed in the previous life, I mean common, this guy actually risked everything for his plan, it worked out in the second run though. i mean we knew it would work out, knew it when the self insert of the author would always say that the female lead can change fate long as she has enough strength, but then also added that individual strength is insignificant, so long as she and Song Mo the fated ones work together they can change fate. Pretty Overpowered if you tell me jk hahah. That ending, I know a simple search would answer my question but I do wonder if the novel actually have sequels hahaha. The rebels are pretty greedy hahaha, could've had a pretty nice life but oh well, drama wouldn't happen if the characters were contented with what they had. The acting was nice at times Meng Ziyi was a little off but it got better with more episodes, Li yun rui on the other hand a ted better but couldn't cry as well as others. The other cast did really well, in return it made the quality of drama elevate alongside with a pretty great plot. The music wasn't really striking, doesn't matter that much to me, I understand though that amazing music will make the drama more memorable, still it's alright. It's also a great rewatch later on, as so with other great drama like this one. Liked the romance and it's pacing and I see why there chemistry were praised. Overall, pretty great drama, will probably rewatch sometime in future. Was this review helpful to you?

"A Blossoming Tale of Resilience, Love, and Triumph"
I just finished watching Blossom (2024), and it’safe to say this drama left a lasting impression on me. From its compelling storyline to its stunning visuals, everything about this series feels carefully crafted and full of heart. The story follows Dou Zhao, a strong and intelligent woman who rises above numerous hardships to protect her family and secure her own happiness. Her journey is inspiring, and her partnership with Song Mo is beautifully developed. Their relationship evolves naturally, going from cautious allies to a supportive and loving couple.
What stood out most to me was the balance between personal struggles and larger political intrigue. It’s not just a romance—it’s a story about resilience, trust, and finding strength in alliances.
The production quality is exceptional. The costumes, sets, and cinematography completely immerse you in the historical era. Meng Ziyi as Dou Zhao delivered a powerful performance, and Li Yunrui as Song Mo was equally brilliant. Their chemistry is a highlight of the drama, but the supporting cast also deserves recognition for their impactful performances.
If you love historical dramas with strong female leads, intricate plots, and emotional depth, Blossom is a must-watch. It’s one of those rare dramas that leaves you thinking about it long after it’s over. WATCH IT!!! FULLY RECOMMENDED.
Rating: ★★★★★

Best historical drama I've seen in a long time
I started watching this with no expectations and was completely blow away by how good this was. That 1st episode was the best first episode to a drama I have seen in a long time. The story and tone was set up perfectly from the first episode. The drama was tight and fast paced with hardly any filler. The romance between the FL and the ML felt believable and progressed well. They supported each other the whole time. The villains were smart and there were lots of twists, and at the end there were consequences! The fight scenes were actually really believable too. Also all that snow was like it's own character and really set the vibes for the drama. This one had it all! Politics+family squabbles+romance+good fight scenes=10/10!

When Writing, Acting, and Chemistry Align Perfectly
A FREAKING MASTERPIECE.The storyline is so freaking good. I usually skip scenes in other dramas because they get predictable, but this one? I haven’t skipped a single scene.
And the first episode??? Literally perfect. The cinematography, the acting, the overall vibe — it pulls you in right away and sets the tone so well that you just know you’re about to watch something special.
What really got me is how every character is written so well. Villains or not, they all feel real. Even when they die or finally get what they deserve, I still ended up crying for them — that’s how good the writing and acting are.
(Except that one eunuch. I hate him. No tears for him.)
One tiny thing: I did think the main lead’s makeup could’ve been toned down a bit to fit the setting more, but Meng Ziyi is just insanely beautiful, so it honestly didn’t bother me much at all.
I’ve watched Li Yunrui’s other dramas before, but something about him in this one just hits different. Even when he was kind of cruel in the first few episodes, I couldn’t help but fall for him. And him with Meng Ziyi??? They’re just perfect together.
THEIR CHEMISTRY IS INSANE (づ>/////<)づ♡
They’ll literally just be looking at each other and I’m already hyperventilating, kicking my feet, and smiling so hard my cheeks hurt. I love them. I hope they just get married already.
The villains are also actually villaining, which I love. And I really appreciate that both leads are strong and trust each other — that kind of partnership is just so satisfying to watch. I love my parents so much.
I genuinely want this drama etched into my heart, my mind, my soul — everything.
This isn’t just a drama, it’s an experience.

Blossom(2024) is a very good romance fantasy drama set in a historical era about the rebirth of the lead lady with Li Yun Rui as Song Mo / Yan Tang and Meng Zi Yi as Dou Zhao / Shou Gu in the leading couple’s role. The drama has a well written rebirth plot, palace politics, dysfunctional family dynamics, betrayal, and a slow burn mature and steadfast romance between Song Mo and Dou Zhao. The cast did a great job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple, with both being intelligent, honest, and supportive of each other, brought the meaning of strategy to a high level. The drama is more focused on politics and the usual feud amongst the royal family with the main couple finding themselves swirling in and out of the Royal vortex. The action scenes on this drama are well done, the complexities of some of the characters are significant for plot development and the leading lady’s friends are a testament to Dou Zhao’s loyal heart.
SPOILER: The romance is good but it is not spellbinding; it had a lot of “this is it” moments that gave the audience great expectations but those are crushed by a some cliché interruptions and the strategizing topic by her right when he arrives at the wedding chamber and he so gently reminds her that it’s their wedding night; then the rumbling tummy, her cousin coming to talk to her and both ending up falling asleep. If the intent is comedy, it was a major letdown for romantics at heart. These events, instead of funny, paired with waiting three episodes for their marriage consummation, were tedious and the marriage went almost unnoticed. Having said that, the rest of their romance had some beautiful tender instances and their relationship excels at those moments when they have honest, heart to heart conversations, every time they look at each other with soulful understanding, their embraces, and their fervent consternation when the other one is in danger, making their relationship profound and heartfelt; it is really moving!
Overall, this is a very good drama that truly entertains, enjoy it!

Love, Family, Loyalty, Scheme, and Li Yun Rui
Li Yun Rui made me watch this drama because of his white-grey hair. And this kind of hairstyle is never gone wrong.Story,
I love how the director potrayed every predicted conflcts so perfectly. Even I questioning my prediction even when I was right. The story is written perfectly beautiful.
Every aspect of the story came out so well described, I can say that this is one of drama that became my favorite eventhough I don't really like the genre. In this intense drama, I can still fell light-hearted and laugh in their comedy.
Acting,
I love how Meng Zi Yi executed her role as Dou Zhou yet it is different than her usual role. But she nailed it as independent and talented women trapped by circumtances form by tradition.
And Li Yun Rui, OMG I know he is skilled actoe but I don't expected he will played Song Mo so perfect even I can't compelare him to another actor. As this Song Mo was only written for him to play. White-grey haired Li Yun Rui are entered my top list male character.
All of the actor do really a good job. I cannot complaint.
Music,
All of the soundtrack sounds beautiful and compliment the drama so much.
Rewatch Value and Overal Rate,
I thank you all of the crew who have a finger in the pie. This drama will not ended as beautiful as this if there are not for your hardwork. I really love this drama that I planned fo rewatch again sometime later.

THE BEST CHINESE DRAMA IVE EVER WATCHED
This is an absolute masterpiece. The story is so well done at first, but I didn't find it interesting, and I wasn't a fan of historical dramas before this show. I have converted now, lol, and I recommend all of my friends to watch Blossomit has a very strong male lead but ALSO A VERY STRONG FEMALE LEAD and i live for that kind of shows where the dynamic is equal and their story is sooo cute and its funny how the male leads role was not the highest in hierarcy of historical drama (like if he was the emperor) yet it was so beautifully captured how they were the main charcter in the story and love love the romance absolutely adorable and it was so cute and calm mature and im telling you if song mo was real i would be committing crimes to get to him but they seriously gave all the characters character improvment and i like that the side couple was not taking most of the screentime but each and every character was different in their personality BUT WHY DOES SONG MO HAVE TO GO THROUGH SO MUCH OMG PLEASE GIVE HIM MORE OF A REDEMTION ERA and i loveeeee the white hair (it made him so hot fsr) also lowkey i wished there was more romance but itsok :( ALSO SONG MO IS SOOOO GENTLE WITH HER UGHHHHH and he NEEEDS TO BE MY HUSBAND. (if you guys have more dramas like this pls recommend)
