Dylan aka Xu Qian carried the show!
This show is a lighter version of Joy of Life and Sword Snow Stride mixed together, with a whole lot of laughs, drama and nice fight scenes. It has politics, lessons on cultivation, the justice prevails over all else theme and a bit of romance here and there.Dylan Wang with his cute family and gang of bronze, silver and Gold Gongs won over my heart. I also like that the underlying theme of the drama is consistent throughout the show, also the writers take on what it truly means to live your life. The part where Xu Qian has to defeat the Heaven sect avatar and when he is stuck in the formation with never-ending cycle of his sad life and stuck in hospital, that part was great, also those were the scenes that I laughed at the most. I'm pretty sure it was Dylan more then Xu Qian character throwing questions at the Heaven sect guy and making him so confused that his Avatar was split in half lol.
Even though the show is focused on Dylan, there were some great side character growth arcs. Xu Qian relationship with his teacher/ master was shown really well, the genuine love between Mr Wei and his naughty disciple and the teacher saving Xu Qian arse everytime the Majesty/King tried to take his head 😆
I did skip some of the romantice bits cause I was way too invested in the part about the mysterious robe guy and Mr Jiang having a fight of their own, and the last reveal!
Episodes 38-40 were really EPIC! Truly broke my heart and made me cry fr! Awesome acting from Dylan, the Gold Gongs and Mr Zheng. As Xu Qian said - he was there to redress the wrong, to serve justice to the fallen people of Chuzong and Mr. Zheng and his family and let the people of Dafeng hear the truth that idiot Emperor was trying to cover up.
Really good cliff hanger and ending to a good series !
Fingers crossed we get a Season 2 soon!!

Fangs of fortune! Totally worth the wait!
I have been waiting for months and months until the release of FOF! And it was totally worth it!I knew that some of the cast members of My Journey to You was in this drama but had no idea that practically everyone from MJTY was in the drama except for the main leads of MJTY.
The FOF drama has a good mix of everything! Mystery, thriller, comedy, horror and they have managed to keep it just right without overdoing it. Zhu Yan and Yichen make a great duo, each trying to throw the worst possible insult at the other lol, but also secretly value their friendship just as much. The friendship between the Goddess and Ms Pei is adorable, and our Mountain God and doctor duo makes the tragic scenes a bit more bearable. Somehow all the characters on the team fit really well together!
I love that each of the demon-human cases and storyline in the drama have a good screentime. It doesn’t drag on, and the episodes cover what's necessary without glossing over the details too much.
Neo has perfectly mastered the Great demon serene all-knowing look and you really feel like he is thousands of years old! The Great demon and Goddess do have a certain aloofness about themselves which adds to their character really well. Afterall they aren't human, and Zhu Yan has limited bandwidth where emotions are concerned. Some people might think the pacing is a bit slow, but tbh I think it really fits the theme and asthetics of the drama!
The only thing they could have cut down on was too many OSTs in between episodes, sometimes simple bgm could have worked as well. But overall 10/10 from me!
Give this drama a try! You won't regret it!

Finally finished watching!
After watching the special extra episode I know for sure the Director had BL in mind but had to add in FL storyline to avoid censorship. The fact that Wen Xiao is waiting for Zhu Yan in the Wilderness but even his last shred of soul sought Yichen who was searching for Zhu Yan in the mortal world says it all. With his last breath Zhu Yan was looking at Yichen and not his crying gf. You can't tell me its not BL.
Both Neo and TJR have amazing chemistry. Sure Wen Xiao and Zhu Yan have cute moments, but all the moments with heart breaks, love-hate relationship, the one or nothing, sacrifice for each other, belong to the Zhu Yan and Yichen duo. They went through thick and thin together and oh the dialogue delivery was flawless when Yichen got a glimpse at Zhu Yan's self inflicted wounds. The fact that Li Lun being his best friend for thousands of years didn’t completely understand Zhu Yan, but 30 yr old Yichen could hear and understand Zhu Yan's heart says it all. They were born to be each others soulmates. And in cdrama you know what soulmate actually means 😅 This is another version of Untamed, Spirerealm and Word of Honors moments mixed together. The drama was a masterpiece and even its comic moments were good.
Although I do feel that Jiu getting burned in the barrier was unnecessary. His mother could have saved him and everyone would have been happy with it. The last 4 eps really take a toll on your heart 🙁 I was bawling so hard when we get to the part of Yinglei sacrificing himself for Jiu. It was the saddest main character death for me. We were reminded time and again that Zhu Yan was ready to die throughout the drama, but Jiu and the cute Mountain God dying really broke my heart.
I'm just a tiny bit happy that we got a somewhat open ending. At least I can console my poor heart that Zhu Yan is still there somewhere waiting to reunite with his soulmate Yichen after hundreds of years ❤️ I'm probably going to rewatch all the happy moments of FOF 😭 I already miss this cast.
Fingers crossed Neo gets a happy ending in next drama. After Dashing Youth and FOF my guy needs some cute ML and FL live happily ever after moments.

Evil, Psychopath, and Golden Retriever and the lover! Lol
Firstly, ignore the low ratings and bad reviews.The acting is good!Yup there is a whole lot of toxicity but portrayed by good actors and script. It's not cringe or over the top abuse every single second or senseless dialogues thrown in between.
They don't even have too many kisses or nc scenes till ep 4. I honestly liked the way this series is done. It’s to the point and keeps you interested.
And well the characters are all black and grey and that one golden lmao
Just watch the episodes and make your own decision.

OMG !!! I'm so in love with that coworker! He's so freaking adorable and with golden retriever vibes!! When he smiles and cutely flirts with Daon and sticks to him so much that poor Doan is exhausted lol honestly this guy is the one Daon should end up with fr!
And damn that Jeimin hyung is some level of EVIL! I mean how can someone be this cruel and manipulative with the person they love?? And with that smile and innocent face?? All his life Jeimin has been like this with Daon. The poor guy is in for such a heartbreak!
I like the other hyeon too, but the golden retriever guy needs to get our cute Daon. He's suffered way too much. Let Daon have some peace and a normal love life please!

Can't believe the ML is just 22 and giving us so many top cdramas
From Story of Kunning Palace, Admist a Snowstorm of Love to The Double my guy is winning in life this year. Truly both the ML and FL have done such a fabulous job in this drama. Good plotline, intricate politics and revenge story and Yurong being the villain you just gotta hate, everything was awesome👍 👌Mind you this is NOT a romance drama, oh no, this is a nice revenge drama with sweet moments dropped in between at the correct time and story arcs. We don't even get to see a kiss between the MCs, the stupid candle stole the limelight lol. I also liked that all the deaths of the characters were meaningful and sort of triggers points to push the FL to make decisions. And one scene which really won my heart, was the one with the ML waiting at the gate, and the FL joining him on horseback, showing she hadn’t abandoned him. That was a great shot. If you know you know 😏
I'm so glad we got additional scenes of Ali and Xiao Heng married life and their daughter. It was so cute. So glad it had a happy ending ☺️

This drama deserves more then 10/10. Absolutely amazing cast, storyline everything. The emotions, the main characters as well as the side characters, all growth arcs were so amazing! I just couldn’t watch it at night though, cause it had its fair share of spooky elements lol.I started my kdrama obsession with this one. So glad its finally gettong a part 2.
Since they have announced the season 2 after so many years I'm really hoping they get back all of the orginal cast as well! It’s gonna be epic!

JUST WATCH IT! Its that good!
I watched all 8 episodes in a day! Yup! Started it couple hours ago and just finished it and LOVED IT!I have to say, even with all the medical jargon, this drama really kept everything crisp and interesting and fast-paced! The mix between comedy and the harsh reality of budget cuts in hospitals and how it affects all medical departments was done well.
Loved the iconic duo Dr. Baek and Dr Anus lol! Honestly these two remind me of the Ghost Doctor duo with Rain playing the arrogant, all-knowing doctor with golden hands, just like Dr. Baek character 😆
After a long long time a medical kdrama grabbed my interest like this and it's over just as quickly!
Hopefully we get a second, third and fourth season as well! I want it all! Finger crossed we get S2 soon!

Love that conquered worlds, timeloops and Fate
I'm so happy with the way this drama ended, it was done beautifully, tying up all the lead stories and charcater arcs nicely!The last episodes, especially 37-40 were amazing! The sacrifies, fight scenes, the meticulous planning to destroy the Creator of their world, and Mr Nan going as far as to break the 4th wall when he asked Feng Yao whether their world was a painting on the fan and someone else was controlling the strings.
This drama although has a heavy dose of fantasy, it also throws in a lot of deep, meaningful dialogues that gets you thinking on the kind of life you're living. It conjures psychological questions on love, life and fate of the humans guided by some external power.
Now coming to the ML, FL and Second Lead, I absolutely love this trio! Especially when they end up working together to fight against Hao Tian. That is something worth watching and cheering for them to win the battle!
I was there for the main leads but the Second lead caught my eye. Don't get me wrong, I really do like the main cp, but... I was rooting for the second lead Mr. Nan as well 😁
I know Mr. Nan being the second lead, will not end up with the FL, but I was hoping he gets a nice ending. The man has been suffering so much since the start of the series.
It kinda reminds me of Ashes of Love with its second lead and the torture he goes through. No matter how much he bleeds, how much he sacrifices and does everything to keep the FL safe, she still runs into the ML arms as expected.
Saw this actor play side character in Fangs of Fortune as well, as Yichen's big brother, even there this poor guy didn’t get to live long and was killed by Zhu Yan during his rampage.
I do like the main cp, but this guy with his sad story really pulls at the heartstrings. He's really good at minute expressions and plays his role very well. His expressions and dialogue delivery for not wanting to be the bad guy and steal the girl, but still try in his own way to win her heart and even then fail at it miserably...yeah I'm suffering from the second-lead syndrome out here lol.
Hoping he bags a main lead role after the popularity of this series!

BROMANCE or ROMANCE?! Absolutely loved it!
If you’re thinking whether to watch this series or not. PLEASE DO WATCH IT! This is by far the best drama from GMMTV this year. It felt like I was watching censored chinese bl drama lol with the amount of 'friend' love confessions and proposals that we got from Shin and Saint. The guys even say 'I love yous' at the end before cringing together lmao! Honestly love this new couple!I do admit I had to be patient for the first two episodes but later the plot and story picked up really well and I was hooked on the series!
The casting was perfect! Both teachers Miss Jan and Mr Sung were great! Thats how all teachers should be tbh!
I can't think of anybody else playing Shin and Saint apart from Nani and Sky. These guys were fantastic with their roles. And our adorable Chedjan played by Mark Pukin was the best side character/angel boy anyone could ask for!
What I LOVED about this series was that all characters, MLs, side characters, everyone had good screentime and a lovely growth arc. We have Ken turning into a good boy, we have Shin finally being close to forgiving Saint for hurting him and abandoning him, we have Saint learning to take responsibility for his actions, we have Chadjen breaking out of his shell and making new friends, we have Peeta and Eve growing closer after their fights, we have the teachers getting better at understanding their students and not trying to judge them from first meetings. We have Saint's dad being the best parent, the principal and Ken's dad turning over a new leaf.
For me this series had everything, from love, bromance, friendship, hate, revenge, fights, drugs, gang war and more! And the directors and writers did a wonderful job with bringing on complex emotions and dialogues into the play.
And I have to say that Nani and Sky have become my new fav couple. Nani with his 'eye-acting' was fabulous. I don’t know how this guy can look so pretty while crying and being in pain. I only knew Nani as MJ from F4 and now Nani as Shin was something totally different! This guy CAN act and act he did!
Saint our cute big puppy with a gummy smile trying to make up to his friend for betraying him! Sky was very good with his role, and I'm so happy these guys are getting more recognition.
Waiting on the new 'WU' series! I'm sure it's gonna be wonderful!

Where should I start? My pretty Ruan Baijie and Lingling and Meng Yu and every cast member has done a fabulous job on this one! In a way its a bit like 19th Floor, where they go into the VR game, but more mature, with high emotions, adult theme, violence and the BL-not-so-Bl moments lol.Both MLs are so good with their expressions and those conversations with just their eyes. And my handsome guy Ruan Lanzhu with the perfect moles under his eyes, he really could be Dilraba's younger bro in a diff timelime and drama. I'm planning to watch Dashing youth just for this guy!
Back to the topic - this show is all at once sad, happy, intriguing, mind-blowing, emotional roller-coaster ride, and eye-candy cause everybody is handsome and beautiful 😍
Every set has a uniquie story behind it and a certain emotional spectrum attached to it. They keep reminding us that these are NPCs but they are almost real-life and the way Lingling connects with them on so many levels, and the dialogue delivery is done so well!
I already know how it ends, but even then, even without the NC scenes my man is so in love with Lingling, just one look at those dreamy stares and you know whats going on.
This show is really good! Definitely a must watch!

3 Cute Love Stories and a nice ending
I wasn't expecting to end up watching all 24 episodes but I did and I'm now Team FaifaWine!Honestly all the stories are nice, but Faifa won me over. The writers made his story so heartbreakingly beautiful! The relationship with his mom, his brother and the way Faifa couldn’t stay alone, and needing to keep people around him happy, like a compulsion. His character had so much depth, so much pain, and Junior protrayed it wonderfully!
And Wine being there, each step of the way, breaking down Faifa's walls and falling in love with him, was something truly magical!
Both Junior and Mark have done a great job in this series! Their dialogues are so heartfelt and loving and the way their story grows throughout the episodes tbh I am in love with this pairing!
Whoever thought of bringing Mark and Junior together ❤️ needs a raise for it!
And Junior is real-life Faifa! His smile is so adorable! And damn that man is handsome handsome! Who wouldn’t fall in love with him?!
I wouldn’t mind more episodes on Faifa and Wine! Maybe we can have a spinoff on their part of the story, cause let's be honest, 6-7 episodes weren’t enought for me.

A Masterpiece that deserves more attention!
OMG! I was gonna wait until after ep 12 to write the review BUT EPISODE 7 was so freaking intense that I was holding my breath every other second hoping it doesn't end badly for everyone! And I had to come here and write about it! LolABSOLUTELY AMAZING! All four of them are doing a fantastic job with this series! I hope it goes on to win more awards because IT'S THAT GOOD!
The plot is so unique, with so many twists and turns that it will confuse your mind...in a good way!
Its been awhile since I watched horror/thriller dramas and this one is IT!
After Gifted s1 and s2, I think this series is gonna be one those rewatch 10/10 for me!
Gun is amazing as always 😍 such perfectionist! And Pond has blown my mind! His acting has improved by leaps and bounds! His relationship with Gun is portrayed so beautifully! Pond's expressions are so so good! The boy is going places after this one!
Please please watch this series! It's amazing!

Its truly Dashing Youths everywhere ?
I'm currently on Ep 19 and I'm so glad I started watching it! With so many handsome actors, and Masters and those fight scenes! I absolutely loved all the fight scenes. They are so majestic and awesome! The storyline, cast, crew, everybody has done a wonderful job in the drama so far!Even with these many characters, the drama itself doesn’t seem confusing and that's a huge feat in itself! You can watching without needing to watch Blood of the Youth, cause this is a prequel to it after all.
The pacing is good, the cute bromance moments between our little Spear Diety and Baili Dongjun and Ye Dingzhi is so cute! Loved the brotherhood these three have! And let's not forget the Eight handsome masters of Juxia Academy! They have done a great job! Our talkative Mr Li and Mr. Zhuomo and all the others too! I just can't get enough of this drama!
THE SWORD PLAY AND FIGHT SCENE CHOREOGRAPHY is really good! Shoutout to whoever planned it all! Be it the first time Baili Dongjun gets his lotus sword, fight scenes between him and Ye Dingzhi, and the others! Everything looks great on screen! Give it a try people! You won't regret it!

* All Mars members are green flags and THAME is the whole green forest! The guy is so freaking romantic, with great dialogues and will make you giggle and scream while watching him flirt with Po!
*Po is the most adorable one, with such portrayal of innocence and those boba eyes! I'm in love with them!
*I absolutely loved that Jun, Nano, Pepper, Dylan, all had good screentime and storyline and arcs
* All of ThamePo songs/OSTs were so awesome! You will find yourself bobbing your head to those in no time!
*The almost breakup made me cry so much
* And when they finally got back together it was the best feeling ever! As if I had accomplished something lol 😆
This is by far one of the BEST SOFT ROMANCE series that GMMTV has brought to the table! It had the right amount of sweet hugs, kisses, hand holding, flirting and everything in between!
I hope they make more such series, hopefully with the same Director and crew and team!!

A well-written story and ending!
FINALLY we have a nice story with a good ending that doesn't feel rushed and didn’t have too many tragic deaths. If you liked Double cdrama, you're definitely going to love this one! The Main leads chemistry was fire🔥! Yantang and Duo Zhao are so in love with each other. The male lead casting was perfection. He was fantastic in portraying the character, be it hatred, guilt, love, sadness and damn his voice or whoever did the voiceover, matched the main leads pain and emotions perfectly. Their initimate scenes were well done, not too much, not too little either. The actress from Untamed really did an amazing job with this one! She is strong-willed, witty, knows when to attack, when to withdraw, she's a great wife and also strategist for the hubby! Honestly what else could the guy ask for haha!The main lead with his grey hair looks amazing even though he is always close to dying in this drama lol. The second lead aka our monk guy plays double agent and really made me confused at one point. I didn’t know whether to hate this guy or root of him and his unrequited love lol. All the characters had good story arcs.
The only parts that I didn't like were when the younger sister and her husband get caught in the mess and their lives are cut short. It was way too cruel for the poor girl.
The ENDING was great! Better then a lot of other cdramas that came out in 2024. Loved that all the loose ends were met, villains taken care of, and we also get the happy couple with a cute daughter.

Im soo glad I found this drama! Such a beautiful, loving way of portraying love between two drastically different individuals, and each struggling with his own short-comings!It’s a true comfort drama, with impeccable acting by the main leads. The communication with sign language is so well done, its at the right pace, right time, and not over-whelming or hard to follow. All characters were great, loved the casting! I really can't imagine anyone else playing Zixiang and Jeng Shaopeing! They have such great chemistry!
Oh and the DIALOGUES! The writers did such a great job with the dialogues and delivery! The right kind of anger, frustration, love, sadness, everything was great!
I hope this show gets a lot of awards! It absolutely deserves all of it! Absolute masterpiece 👏!
