Why was it so good
This was good. Such a good storyline and the plot didn’t move too fast or slow regardless of it only having 6 eps. Their chemistry was hard to beat absolutely amazing and they were so adorable. I loved how the other side characters weren’t annoying and still supported their relationship. Personally I didnt care much about the side couple all though their relationship was really created in the first season it was kinda random but otherwise it was amazing and so cute!!!! Also I forgot the guys name but I loved his mom!! She’s so gorgeous and a queen 😭😭😭😭😭😭Was this review helpful to you?

love from a distance
So the average for this one was 8.75 stars out of 10 stars, and I rounded it down to 8.5 stars out of 10. This was fun, cute, and short, but still filled with action and plot. It's getting late, so I won't knock out season 2 right now. Yeah.I am going by the ratings of the episodes because I posted nothing on this on my instagram close friends. I think two things happened, and they were both songs over scenes. Gallowdance by Lebanon Hanover, when Shu yi, zhou shu yi in the street, was trying to drown himself. Those were the vibes, and I still don't know why. And then TV by Billie Eilish, Shu Yi was pretending to be happy for his friends when they figured out they liked each other, and he was undermining his own feelings to see them happy. That was the vibe of the first episode. Shu Yi was an annoying fucker, but I could get behind his actions.
Shu yi and Gao Shi De (using the full government name for him, lol) started being lovey-dovey unientially with their actions and just the way they were so close to each other all of a sudden. I don't think we knew that Gao Shi De liked Shu Yi. Or we probably did, and my dumb ass didn't read the description, but the way he was just acting, I knew it was love at first sight from when they were younger.
"It's an enemies to lovers kind of thing, but I've been in love with you since you helped me in fifth grade." That's my quote. The vibes were slow, but we really got to know our characters more, and that's always fun. I love these two so much.
Shu yi started to fall for Gao Shi De. He fell flat on his face in love. I love to see characters actually fall for each other and not say, Oh my god, I like you because you like me. It's that, but he was in denial at first, and then he realized how he actually felt, and I think that was cute.
They came around in the end and had their little cute moments, and then bros was like, I've got to go to America, and then bro was like, No way, and then bro went yes way. Exactly how that happened actually I am going to watch season 2 tomorrow if I wake up. This was cute, and I can get behind the hype it has. I would recommend it. Okay bye!

Great Qualities
So this is another strong Taiwanese BL series not at but seriously close to the history series in overall quality. The cast is all wonderful including the female cast which are usually embarrassingly annoying in most other BL's.I wish they would have acknowledged the time as adults when Shu Yi comforted Gao when his dad left. I also think the idea of Shu Yi being Gao's servant was a bit weird but entertaining none the less. Sometimes the story line went off track with the leads but didn't spend enough time on the secondary characters. Especially with Pie and Liu. The last little issue is with the end. Well, It was a little issue that becomes a big issue once the 1st episodes of season 2 is watched. I'm on episode 2 of season 2 and I have major issues so far. I hope that they can somehow draw me back in because as of now I'm emotionally out of season2.... and it has also affected season one for me. So be form warned about season 2.

On point
The story, the casting, the acting, the chemistry - everything was just on point. This drama is super easy to watch and you WILL want more on the next episode. The chemistry between the actors is what really kept me going, and I loved how natural they were all the time. The little details like the language really made the story better. Just watch it.

I really just want to post my review without writing too much TT
I am already writing a super long essay for school and I think this 500 words restriction is too much. So just enjoy my short review and my smart nose.

A must watch
*happy ending*No words can describe how much I am amazed by this show. Yu's acting is the best in this series. I keep screaming whenever I hear him speak Nihonggo only to discover that they casted a Japanese-taiwanese actor. I really felt and seen how he slowly fell in love with Shi de and boy he falls hard! I really like that Shu yi is very upfront of his feelings to Shi de once he fell in love. He is very straightforward and very cute!
Shi de on the other hand is very crafty. Very reminiscent of my younger self. Anything to get that chance! Hahaha.
I hope they could've increased the moments where they ended up together. But overall the story flowed really smoothly, and it leaves a feeling in your heart of how you wanted to finally fall in love.
Love love love this series soo much that I wanted it to be longer.

An Enemy To Lovers Must Watch
Oh, let me rave about "We Best Love"! It's a classic boys' love story in the truest sense. The beauty of this series lies in Shu Yi's journey of discovering love for the first time, while Shi De is gay. This dynamic is what makes it a genuine BL and not just a regular gay drama. The unrequited love trope, with Shi De relentlessly pursuing Shu Yi despite his one-sided feelings, adds a captivating layer to the story. The way Shi De's feelings evolve throughout the series is heartwarming and heart-wrenching at the same time. He is willing to do anything just to be a part of Shu Yi's life, even if it means being just an enemy in Shu Yi's eyes. Their emotional connection is beautifully portrayed, showcasing the complexities of one-sided love.
The story takes an intriguing turn when Shu Yi discovers Shi De's feelings for him, leading to a gut-wrenching confession after being ghosted by Shi De. I couldn't help but empathize with Shu Yi and his emotional journey, which had me shedding tears like cutting onions by the barrel.
As the series unfolds, we are treated to a beautifully crafted side couple story between Shuo Yi and Zhen Xuan, which turned me into an ardent side couple fan. And let's not forget about the charming bartender, Alex, who left me feeling shortchanged after witnessing his captivating presence in "My Tooth Your Love."
The ending left me feeling all sorts of angry as it left the door open for season 2. "We Best Love" is a true gem among BL series, with its compelling storyline, heartfelt emotions, and unforgettable characters. If you haven't watched it yet, you're in for an emotional rollercoaster that will leave you wanting more. This series is an absolute must-watch for all BL fans!

One of the best out there
If you're thinking whether to watch it: watch it. I think its really one of the better BL dramas to be released. The quality and production beats almost all BLs.Gonna rate this high bc this is an incredible quality of bl drama. I loved the acting and most of the story and they achieved a lot within the few episodes. But I didn't like the lowkey stalkerishness fo Gao Shide (the whole haunted house scene) but still okay I think, sort of toes the line b/w normal and creepy. Also disliked the side couple: seemed forced and unnecessary (common problem among BLs)

A Romance Full of Love and Heart
This series pretty much sealed the deal for me that anything with Lin Pei Yu's name on it means God-tier work of art. No. 1 for You (2021) is a more light-hearted series compared to its sequel, Fighting Mr. 2nd (2021), as it rightly captures the audiences' attention by sucking you in with its bright colours and youthful tenacity of our male leads. A well thought out story that was built to provide a sequel so you may anticipate what comes next for our beautiful boys. Enjoy in the moment of youth would be a message this series tries to portray along with its endearing romance. Also, Yu's mandarin definitely adds in the kawaii factor. Boy can't even swim and yet he's acting as a swimmer! Now that's professionalism. Was this review helpful to you?

Romantically pleasing with bits of comedy - Very Well Done!
Knowing that it is from Taiwan, I was already expecting a lot from this series and it did not disappoint. It beautifully portrayed the "enemies to lover" trope which is, I would say, common in BL genre but it is a lot better compared to those who proceeded with this kind of storyline. The series started with a glimpse of their past and as the episodes progress, then things got more interesting and the romance made me feel single af., I was already expecting a lot from this series and it did not disappoint. Sth ordinary turned into phenomenal
I love it soooo much! The plot is nothing new and everything is pretty much predictable, but the execution is phenomenal! The actors had great chemistry together and were soooo good! Like how can a hug be so emotional that it makes me rewatch it 100 times?! And the kisses weresooooo good and felt natural! The actor of ZSY did a really great job and ZSY was really the cat type, like whenever I saw him, I was reminded of a cute little cat due to his personality and appearance.
They were also a pretty balanced couple, like one wasn't the giver and the other the taker. And ZSY didn't become the girl of the relationship, which unfortunately happens a lot in bl stories...
I saw some bts and I have to say, the director's passion has also contributed a lot to the success of this series.
So, overall a must watch series!
ZSY was really cute and like a lost kitten, when GSD distanced himself from ZSY. And when they started dating, ZSY was so cute and in love! The whole scene at GSD's house (greeting the mother, trying to wash the dishes and clean the table) were soooooo adorable! Yes, I've fallen for him!

It's so sad!!!
Ok, to start off I'm gonna say that this tbl is so good! I have also finished the second series too and will say a few things about the second series as well. You will understand when you watch it, but let me get to the review. I absolutely love the acting, it was on point and very sedimental. The chemistry between Shi De and Yi, was amazing. Props to the director for that. Music was amazing! I want to say, the right mood of music was put in the correct places. For example, sad scenes, sad music and yall get the rest. I love how this is different from other tbls, although it is kinda the same for all bls, is where Shi De avoids Yi because of something Yi said. If got me to tear up and was so sad😭😭. That's my review for the storyline. My review for the acting was chefs kiss. Parts of the acting I feel like was genuine and real. There were parts in the second series where Shi De actually got drunk and was crying because they poured their hearts into this drama for us. They are so cute together in the series but it was so sad when he was with that blonde, but in reality, that was his step sis...(ep 6.5). The acting and all the crying in the first series made me take a break from binge watching the second series. I loved them acting and want to see more of them together in the future for future dramas.
Overview, I would highly, highly recommend for any of yall to watch this. It's sad and all and if i do get the chance would most likely rewatch the entire thing again. Trust me when I say this, you won't regret watching this!!
