This is a great show, what is it with you people??

Maybe I went in with my expectations too low because I saw the reviews and ratings. But I absolutely loved this and I don't understand why so many seemed to have an issue with this show. It was dark, it was funny, it was ridiculous and it was absolutely entertaining. The acting was amazing. Especially Charn. I loved that sleazy little bastard man with that slimy nasty grin that hides so much pain and suffering. He was unlikeable in a fun way that makes you go 'oh you magnificent bastard' and had fantastic chemistry with Tin and honestly every character. The side couple was also wonderful and had such a heartbreaking yet beautiful story. Ignore the haters and nay sayers, this is an underrated little treasure and deserves a much higher rating.

Was it perfect? No. Did I have an amazing time watching this? Hell yes!!

Very Thai Lakorn style

If you are watching this just because it's a BL you might not fully be able to enjoy it cause honestly there are very few moments of romance. It is more on mystery. semi-thriller and focused less on the romance and more on the plot. Which I didn't exactly dislike. Rather sometimes I like to watch plot driven drama where romance is a side character.
I liked the chemistry of the lead actors but the very little romantic moments between them didn't let the chemistry bloom to a even greater level. It's a slow burn but there is a way to do slow burn right. You need to show progression to keep the viewer hooked. However they did have few more plot points to keep the viewers hooked with all the mystery behind Tonkhao's death.
Acting and cinematography wise this is very much Thai lakorn. With all the slow motions, picture quality, dialogues and zoomed in shocked faces this gave me the taste of Thai lakorns I used to watch back in 2017. However compared to how far the BL industry has came forward with great quality content and budget this might not be up to the mark yet again highlighting social injustice, the character development of Charn and overall the plot is the selling point for this show and I absolutely liked it. Whoever wrote Charn's character did an outstanding job and Film (the actor playing) gave a mind-blowing performance playing a complex character like him. I could feel his pain. He might not be justified for his actions but we could see why and how he turned out to be the way he is.
I wish the camera work was a bit better, all it lacked was a good quality cinematography and I wouldn't mind giving it a solid 8.5. It's a great watch though.

BL Melodrama ❤️??

Do you love over the top physicality, emotionality, pulsing music, and hot male leads? Look no further! They love and hate each other in the same episode all the while trying to solve a tragic hit-and-run. The settings range from gritty urban to luxury dwellings with law offices and a nightclub thrown in. the fight scenes contain some amazing cinematography; graphic violence is portrayed explicitly. Silvy fans get a real treat; there is girl love, too! As a bonus the BL side couple is gorgeous. Episode 5 is lakorn perfection so buckle in.

I've already rewatched this twice !!

I like how mature the series is
A drama that deserves a round applause after finishing the whole thing i wish it was longer but its short and straight to the point a dilemma between a manipulator and a straight forward blunt guy in a set of dramatic events and (the infamous bathtub scene of sir thanapat kawila... sorry i had to say that ) rethinking his life choices because of his partner .
if you watch enough drama of him You'll notice that, the first time i watched him ,his smile creeped me out and then as i continue watching i saw how talented he is by conveying the rule of a person who is in dilemma between his good and bad self. I like the overall atmosphere of the drama, they deserve more romantic scenes though.
I like the background music also the side couple were great and touching .
my favorite scenes :
1- the scene where ten said he was given a packed meal and couldn't repay that yet is my all favorite among the series.
oh and ,
2-when maya starts singing for them while they were melting for each other so good Very well done scene
and ,,
3- tin grabbing charn's waist claiming ownership.
those scenes are great for a short series its really packed with emotions
and ,,,
4- the saddest for me when charn was cuddling with tin saying how he's a sucker for him and how he loves him knowing that he's Planning to do some seriously dangerous shit for his boyfriend after he was given a second chance when he decided to run away the first time!!

the ending was satisfying for both couples i like the grandma she gives such a great advices for her grandsons when she adviced tin to dig the reason charn is this way or when she said you can't have it all in a relationship

A Must Watch Great BL Series

I knew about Laws of Attraction because I watched Jam and Film's previous BL Series, To Sir with Love. Having that standard from their past series, I kind of expected a lot from this series.

Charn is a lawyer who is selfish and doesn't care about other people's feelings. As long as he will win his client's case, he will do everything. One night, after winning a murder case, he was stopped by the victim's brother. He is blaming Charn saying that because of him, the culprit was not punished. He is so angry that he will stab Charn. Thankfully, he was saved by Tin. Charn wants to treat him to a meal, but Tin got a call and it was an emergency.

One day, when Tin and his niece, Tonkhao, went home from the karate lesson, Tonkhao did the house chores listed by her grandmother. Since Tin is tired, he fell asleep. Tin went to the market by herself to buy something. When she's going home, she was suddenly hit by a rushing car. The car was owned by Senator Thattep' son, Thaenthai.

Tin blamed himself of Tonkhao's death, saying that he fell asleep that is why Tonkhao went to the market. With the family grieving, Tin went to see Senator Thattep saying that the suspect must be criminalized. Tin went to different places wearing a signage as a protest about his niece's death.

The next day, Charn showed-up in the house of Tin. Tin thought that Charn will help their family to win the hit and run case, but the truth is that Charn is the lawyer of Thaenthai. He brough-out a 10,000,000 baht check in return of Tin's silence. He got angry and torn the check saying that no amount of money will stop them from bringing justice for his niece. Charn did all the way to make Tin silenced, such as posting his bank account online to gather donation for his niece and then spreading news that Tin is using that money for his bad habits.

Fast forward, Charn and Senator Thattep had a closed meeting. Charn said that he needs to have a meeting with the suspect, Thaenthai. Senator Thattep disagreed, not wanting for them to meet. When Charn went outside the house, he met Thaenthai. He provoked Thaenthai by provoking him. The next day, Charn was cut-off from being their lawyer. Since he was furious, he decided to instead help Tin and his family in bringing-out the truth from Tonkhao's death. The story revolved around finding-out what really happened that day and punishing the suspect, Thaenthai.

Plot (10/10) - The plot was great. Another not so unique, yet different genre of a Boys Love series. You can see how each episodes jump from each other. You can see clearly the improvement of each scenes and how it affects the improvements of each characters. The plot was clear in a way that you can see where the story is heading. But the plot twist is kind of expected, yet still made me awe.

Acting & Casts (10/10) - As I always say in my reviews, the charm of a story is the way the actors portray their character, and as expected from Film, Jam, and the other casts, they did great.

Film (Charn) - He is always making me jaw drop with how he portrayed his emotions of feeling like having two different personalities. The way he mysteriously yet clearly showed us how Charn acts as a person and lawyer. He is really great!

Jam (Tin) - His crying scenes are amazing! He is so natural whenever he cries, so a big applause for that!

Film and Jam - Their chemistry is really great in this series. Compared to their previous BL Series, To Sir With Love, Law of Attraction really brought-out the best of the both of them. Their kissing scenes are really a candy in the eyes. Their acting is really great whenever there are scenes together.

Thaenthai & Thee - Their story made me feel sad. At first, I was always saying that Thaenthai deserves all the things that are happening to him, like the abuse of his father. But when I knew that he is not the main culprit in the end, it is just that it was his car, I felt sad for him. All he wants is the love from his father. Thankfully, they got their happy ending in the end.

I also want to highlight the support system of Charn and Tin: Grandmother, the bar owner, and the bar singer. They are such a good support system because of how they lift-up the main characters from the beginning till the end.

In totality, Laws of Attraction is a really great, recommendable, and a must watch BL series, because it will not disappoint the viewers.

i love it

It's absolutely ridiculous, cheesy, makes you scratch your head and ask why, self-obsessed with a mix of laughingly-bad-side-character-acting, a dash of awkward fight scenes, a healthy dose of suits and abs in rags, chemistry that chemistrys, leads that act like the rent was due two months ago and the power bill is coming in the mail on Monday, and, above all, just a shit ton of fun.

Loved this show!

Everyone got the ending they deserved. I really enjoyed this series. It was fresh, funny, and kept me guessing. I wish we got more of Nawin because he was my favorite character despite only being in two episodes. He was hilarious and the only time an ex making a comeback was ACTUALLY entertaining. 😂

I loved the couples and I fell so hard for the side couple. 🥺 Thee is the most amazing person.

I also appreciate any BL that ends in a wedding! They really emphasized the importance of equal rights and the fight they continue to fight in Thailand. 💜

The story is really good. The characters are amazing, their chemistry as well. Highly recommend.

This is a BL but I actually laughed a good bit. There were ALOT of sexual tension, yet it was the last 2 episodes when they actually did anything, it was like "explosive, heartwarming, and emotional" It's not like a "typical" BL where they get it on alot and about romance the whole series lol.
There were parts when they'd get close to kiss but then it's like OMG HURRY UP AND KISS, you both know you want to lol. I guess you can call it a crime genre as well, but added BL.
I don't write reviews, but I had to for this cause they give this a 7.9!? I've rewatched multiple times. I love Film and Jam, their chemistry is through the roof. Also love their characters. Film's character does this grin and that's when you know he's up to something, which is pretty much 98% of the time. I won't do any spoilers, you'll have to watch it instead lol.
Film looks exactly like James. Some angles and what not, I had to do a double take.
I literally can write alot about this. I'm picky with my BLs as well now. They're starting to get repetitive, so I rate them strictly too. If it's a 10/10 for me, it must be amazing lol. I will be rewatching again very soon, like my 5th or 6th. (I know that's alot)
My favorite 2 BLs at this moment, are Laws of Attraction and My Stand-In. I just finished My Stand-In today, I highly recommend it too.

SLOW BURN BUT IT GOT ME HOOKED

Law of Attraction really caught my attention! Film totally nailed his role as a sharp, cunning lawyer. Even though the leads didn’t get along at first, you could feel the tension and the attraction right away. And I loved Film's smile, he is like a devilish haha! I actually enjoyed this series a lot because I’m into shows that mix action, drama, and a bit of romance.

There are plenty of plot twists, which kept me hooked from the very first episode. Usually, I can tell within a few eps if I’m into a series or not, but this one had me right away. The cinematography is pretty average, and the romance is definitely a slow burn almost no kissing scenes but the chemistry is still there.

If you're expecting a full-on BL romance, this might not be your thing. It's more of a balanced mix of action, mystery, drama, and a touch of romance. Personally, I like that kind of setup. Also, shoutout to Film’s lesbian friends in the series, they were such a vibe and had amazing chemistry too!

BETTER IF NOT RUSHED

First of all, I feel bad that this drama was a bit rushed, I mean It could've been better if not compiled to 8 episodes, some scenes must have been better to be out to detail but since it was rushed, some scenes were like did not made sense.
This drama is convincingly good, every scene from beginning to the end brought out its point and you can clearly see the quality and depth of the story, the main characters have different point of view in life , one has changed due to past experiences and the other one stands with what justice is all about but brought together for the same goal and that's exactly what I liked about this drama.
The Actors are seasoned, and just perfect for this kind of drama, the Father of Thaen did great job being the bad guy in this drama, specially knowing the reason why he seemed to doesn't love his own son--Thaen being the reason why his mother died for him to live, we can learn here that people is sometimes not born being bad , but because they are sometimes wounded of the past circumstances. Chan and Tinn had this chemistry ever since I watched them on To Sir With Love and I feel Like I am still watching the same characters here, Chan did not really convinced be being bad here working for money because he has a soft heart as me ! specially when it comes to love, He wasn't even able to hold himself from making Tinn believe he doesn't really love him when he was about to go and finish things with Thaen's father, so funny but romantic at the same time.
I was so surprised that Tinn and Chan got to get married here like, I thought after they have destroyed the enemy here they'll just be together and that's it, but they got married ! and Immana say that that was my favorite scene, specially when their friend sang a song there , it was just so beautiful and that woman really had a beautiful voice ! like since the beginning ! her voice was so soothing at the ears . Chan's friend with a bangs is such a wonderful person , she was also one of my favorite character here , and I so so Love Tinn's grandmother here , like I am not close to my grand mothers but If were to be, I wanted it to be just like how TIn and his grandmother was.
My favorite Character here like most favorite was Thee and Thaen ! like they should have their own drama !! I thought they were not gonna kiss here but , I literally shouted when Thee kissed Thaen suddenly when they were watching a movie ! I also love their story here , they were the good balancer of the drama when we feel tired seeing Chan and Tinn, coz I did TBH, but yeah this guys are everything in this drama.
Okay Tinn and Chan's kiss were so dry .. Like I am not a fan of steamy kisses in BL but they should've add a little gloss on their kiss here , coz this is a mature and drama right ? so yeah I got a bit dismayed of how they kissed here, too awkward for the actors .
All in all, could've been better if the run time was longer to elaborate some rush scenes , and I am sorry but I have to say this, when Chan was reached by Wit the person whom he used to be with, Wit shoot Chan right ?! but why does Chan had no would at all !? like I just convinced my self that maybe it was not directed to Chan's body that was why no wound , but if it is that so , they should elaborated the scene even more so that we could understand and not assume. The props and effects of this drama somehow was off for me.. it was rushed right ? .. so yeah anyways that's all I've got to say !

Laws of Attraction — A Story That Respects Love, Justice, and Reality

Laws of Attraction is not a BL that tries to please everyone — and that is exactly why it is exceptional.
At its core, this drama is about injustice, power, and the cost of survival in a harsh world. Romance is not used as an escape from these realities, but as a force that tests, exposes, and ultimately transforms the characters.
Charn begins as a morally compromised lawyer — intelligent, self-aware, and deeply flawed. The series never excuses his actions, and that is one of its greatest strengths. Instead of romanticizing his behavior, the story forces him to confront the consequences of his ideology: by helping the powerful, he only made the rich stronger and the innocent weaker. His redemption is not sudden or easy — it is painful, gradual, and earned. He loses things. He feels guilt. He changes not because love magically saves him, but because love no longer allows him to lie to himself.
Tinn is equally compelling. He starts as a man with strong moral clarity, representing justice and anger that is fully justified. What makes this drama special is that Tinn also changes. He does not become corrupt — he becomes realistic. By the end, he understands that the world is not black and white, and that protecting the people you love sometimes means accepting harsh truths. Their relationship evolves into something beautifully morally grey, balanced, and deeply human.
The romance in this series is often called “reserved,” but I strongly disagree. Romance here is not about constant physical intimacy — it is about trust, restraint, loyalty, and emotional connection. The lack of rushed kisses or NC scenes is intentional and necessary. Intimacy before moral alignment would have felt wrong, and the series understands that. The yearning, the resistance, and the slow emotional closeness made the love feel stronger, not weaker.
I also want to praise the second couple. At first, I did not expect to care about them — but their storyline surprised me. The show allows us to understand their pain and motivations without excusing their bad behavior, which again shows the maturity of the writing. By the end, I found myself rooting for both couples equally — something that rarely happens for me.
Yes, the special effects are sometimes cheap, but honestly? They did not matter. The strength of the plot, character development, and emotional weight far outweighed any technical flaws.
In the end, Laws of Attraction delivered something rare:
a BL with realistic stakes, ethical complexity, and love that grows through accountability rather than fantasy.
This drama did not just entertain me — it resonated deeply with how I see the world.
That is why it earned a 10/10 and a place in my perfect BL list.

a brilliant, underrated gem

lately, I have stopped watching BLs due to the fact that nothing is seems to be good about it anymore. the stories, specially the plot is too bland and ordinary--there's nothing exciting about it. It's either the story is too cute that it's cringey, too explicit it looks like a romanticized porn or too violent that's it'd be too hard to get past the first episode.

another thing is the theme of a particular series itself. I'd honestly say this even if I'll get hate from rabid fans---but I really hate the redundant, repetitive and overused "mafia-falling in love-with his bodyguard" and "high school love" tropes. If I'd ever came across such series, I drop it immediately. It sucks and is really boring as hell.

but this one----it has everything I want in a series; though the story and plot itself is not that extraordinary, but the characters and the actors portraying them are so brilliant, one can't help but be impressed. Chan's cunning and clever ways, his arrogance and how flirty and feisty he is---specially to Tin. and Tin, being the tsundere that he is, compliments so well with Chan's playfulness. JamFilm's chemistry is fiery enough to set the screen on a blaze, making the series withy to watch from the first episode to the last. and the second lead couple? deym, Boi. they're so adorable together---and their story didn't overlapped that of the main leads, nor did the main leads overshadowed them. the screen time for both couples are equal, and I applaud the director and writers for that.

Overall, this is a highly recommended story for all BL lovers out there. You'll love it, promise 🖐️🥰😍👍
