Laws of Attraction — A Story That Respects Love, Justice, and Reality
Laws of Attraction is not a BL that tries to please everyone — and that is exactly why it is exceptional. At its core, this drama is about injustice, power, and the cost of survival in a harsh world. Romance is not used as an escape from these realities, but as a force that tests, exposes, and ultimately transforms the characters.
Charn begins as a morally compromised lawyer — intelligent, self-aware, and deeply flawed. The series never excuses his actions, and that is one of its greatest strengths. Instead of romanticizing his behavior, the story forces him to confront the consequences of his ideology: by helping the powerful, he only made the rich stronger and the innocent weaker. His redemption is not sudden or easy — it is painful, gradual, and earned. He loses things. He feels guilt. He changes not because love magically saves him, but because love no longer allows him to lie to himself.
Tinn is equally compelling. He starts as a man with strong moral clarity, representing justice and anger that is fully justified. What makes this drama special is that Tinn also changes. He does not become corrupt — he becomes realistic. By the end, he understands that the world is not black and white, and that protecting the people you love sometimes means accepting harsh truths. Their relationship evolves into something beautifully morally grey, balanced, and deeply human.
The romance in this series is often called “reserved,” but I strongly disagree. Romance here is not about constant physical intimacy — it is about trust, restraint, loyalty, and emotional connection. The lack of rushed kisses or NC scenes is intentional and necessary. Intimacy before moral alignment would have felt wrong, and the series understands that. The yearning, the resistance, and the slow emotional closeness made the love feel stronger, not weaker.
I also want to praise the second couple. At first, I did not expect to care about them — but their storyline surprised me. The show allows us to understand their pain and motivations without excusing their bad behavior, which again shows the maturity of the writing. By the end, I found myself rooting for both couples equally — something that rarely happens for me.
Yes, the special effects are sometimes cheap, but honestly? They did not matter. The strength of the plot, character development, and emotional weight far outweighed any technical flaws.
In the end, Laws of Attraction delivered something rare:
a BL with realistic stakes, ethical complexity, and love that grows through accountability rather than fantasy.
This drama did not just entertain me — it resonated deeply with how I see the world.
That is why it earned a 10/10 and a place in my perfect BL list.

a brilliant, underrated gem
lately, I have stopped watching BLs due to the fact that nothing is seems to be good about it anymore. the stories, specially the plot is too bland and ordinary--there's nothing exciting about it. It's either the story is too cute that it's cringey, too explicit it looks like a romanticized porn or too violent that's it'd be too hard to get past the first episode.another thing is the theme of a particular series itself. I'd honestly say this even if I'll get hate from rabid fans---but I really hate the redundant, repetitive and overused "mafia-falling in love-with his bodyguard" and "high school love" tropes. If I'd ever came across such series, I drop it immediately. It sucks and is really boring as hell.
but this one----it has everything I want in a series; though the story and plot itself is not that extraordinary, but the characters and the actors portraying them are so brilliant, one can't help but be impressed. Chan's cunning and clever ways, his arrogance and how flirty and feisty he is---specially to Tin. and Tin, being the tsundere that he is, compliments so well with Chan's playfulness. JamFilm's chemistry is fiery enough to set the screen on a blaze, making the series withy to watch from the first episode to the last. and the second lead couple? deym, Boi. they're so adorable together---and their story didn't overlapped that of the main leads, nor did the main leads overshadowed them. the screen time for both couples are equal, and I applaud the director and writers for that.
Overall, this is a highly recommended story for all BL lovers out there. You'll love it, promise 🖐️🥰😍👍

a missed opportunity…
I enjoyed this script skit. I believe they did it will and the actors were a perfect fit. The sexual tension between……..grew as the story went along. I do wish we cold have seenMore hints of attraction such as touching or kissing before pulling themselves away. The chemistry was great, even by adding a. It
My steamy moments would have made this on the “watch again” list.
Each of the support actors also did a great
Job and their storylines were not lost within the bigger story. Great job for the writers.
Will definitely be looking for these characters in other dramas. Great job!

Good watch
C.First of all, before anything, shout out to Natthew (Nawin) for being the most adorable batshit-crazy idiot scene-stealer!!! This character deserves to be in more than just two episodes!!! I'd gladly watch a whole series with him in it!! And TBH he'd be my favourite character if it wasn't for Film (Charn) ~~~And oh my god!!!! Charn stole my whole heart, mind and soul!! The complexity of the character was brilliant!!! Film was amazing!! This is the first drama I ever watch for the two leads, -haven't seen To sir, with love yet, but i plan to- and he was magnificent!!! ~~~
Loved the creepy smile with hollow stare! Like you're so weird, mate! But I don't feel grossed out, instead you got my whole attention now!
He was just too fucked up, the way he switches from evil revenger to sassy flirty with Tinn was very remarkable.~~~~
On the other side, there are a few plot holes here and there, and Tinn was the weakest Taekwondo Sabomnim I've ever seen, I feel like I could beat his ass easily even with my very humble skills, and the whole 5th EP does not exist for me, just deleted it from my memory 😂
I would give it a 10 because I enjoyed it as much but I could not turn a blind eye from the things that didn't make sense, they were just too many to ignore.~~
The series definitely deserves all the hype, and I'm glad I waited to binge watch it, highly recommended ~~~~

Underutilized potential for grade 8
The story is pretty good and the scenery could have been done a little better! The actors are handsome, especially the lead and perhaps the most handsome Thee ;)Only if the BL theme is such a big romance, then there should have been more kisses! Real kisses! It was like I was watching a Chinese BL series. If the actors didn't want to do a single serious kiss, the director should have found Thai actors who do it exceptionally well. The series would be much better and more realistic! This is just the average!

A BL with a plot and which talked about love not love between men
Initially after ep 1 i put this on hold thinking this would only stress me out but when i picked it up again i watched it to the end. It's always the actors who rarely do BL dramas who end up serving us quite some unique masterpieces. Some people might find it weird but my favorite character was charn cz i found him the most relatable. The guy is twisted not cz he's inherently a bad person but cz he's scared someone might hurt him so instead he chooses to hide behind a facade. He is the kind of person you would probably see in the real world
As for Tin loved him too but i don't think someone can be that good irl. I'm really happy Charn found him.
As for the drama it didn't feel like i was watching a BL the drama didn't mainly focus on the gender of the leads. It just said they love each other. If you watch it you'd understand. Also i think they handled both the romance and suspense side really well. The plot twists were really good and unpredictable
Loved the grandma🤭 she was genuinely naturally smart and brave not in a very obvious way. As for the 2nd couple i genuinely felt bad for Thaen❤️ as for pearl's character i was pretty pissed with him sometimes😅 for some reason all his partners are crying in all his dramas🤭 he always has this depressing forbidden love story. But loved it. It was not frustrating. We can't forget our cutie Nawin he showed up for few mins but stole our heart
I cried a little, smiled a little, celebrated a little through the entire drama. It was really a beautiful experience. I should really try new things cz we never know when we'll find such a gem

An addictive BL & investigation
PLOT: Charn, a cunning lawyer with a borderline sens of justice, is called upon to defend Thaenthai, a senator's son, accused of a hit-and-run which killsTonkhao, Tinn's niece who raised him. Tinn (an ordinary man, a karate instructor) wants justice, but faces the senator's armor of influence (corrupt, rich, and has a wide network). Charn eventually switches sides, and although relations are strained at first, he teams up with Tinn to seek the truth [and maybe more :)].+++ Film is brilliant as the borderline lawyer, and his mischievous smile is (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) adorable. Jam brings to life a down-to-earth, frank, and solid Tinn with talent. The chemistry between these two opposing personalities is electrifying.
+++ See portrays Thaenthai with sensitivity, and the supporting actors are all very convincing.
+++ The OSTs are excellent, including the songs performed by Silvy.
+++ The theme is quite classic: the dilemma between rigorous honesty (good) and compromise (because you have to survive in this cruel world without getting eaten alive).
+++ The story is well-written and the direction flawless, cleverly alternating action scenes with gentler moments (sweet or humorous).
### The Great Villain is a bit caricatural.
=> I really enjoyed this series and I'm going to watch other FilmJam dramas right away.

Totally and completely invested.
I just finished watching the first episode and I found myself ranting out loud during the different scenes, I'm totally invested in watching the whole drama. This has action, wit, tragedy, and glimpses of hope.Charn played by Film, who also portrayed Thian from "To Sir, With Love (2022), is far removed from Thian. His vibe is edgy and a bit on the crazy side.
Jam (who was also in "To Sir, With Love) has you rooting for him and hoping that things will work out the way he needs it to be.
I am looking forward to the next episode, it has completely sucked me in emotionally. This drama has me wondering where the story and director will take me next. The main characters are outstanding!

Episode 1: Mixed Emotions
JamFilm characters here are so different from their previous series but I LOVE IT SO MUCH because i am a fan of Action-Romance BL. Especially Film's character, he's like a psycho, obsessed and crazy lawyer dangggg! And Jam's character showing the reality of life. I love the concept of this series. It's sad that the daughter of her sister already died, she could have a lovely character but yeah, this will change the character of Jam. I must say I WILL TOTALLY LOVE THIS SERIES. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW EPISODES!Was this review helpful to you?
this ML cannot act for his life!
Ive never seen worse acting in a long time, the only thing abt the ML is his grinning all the time. When he doesnt, he is just awkward.Fight scenes are so off! Totally funny in a weird way.
Ive been watching this because i like torturing myself lol.
The second couple is way better than the first one.
Typically for BL dramas, no one around here is hetero...
All in all, it's a gay lakorn and not even modern in spirit, it takes after the old ones.
