I always read this type of content from fanfics or novels, I never thought to see it in a series and it's like everything comes to life, every episode I can put a real face to the story, you get excited and suffer with them, I hope this series has a second part, it's the first time you see this type of content and I really like it.

Beautiful men, interesting plot, so much dialog.

This show is interesting in a lot of ways. The alphas are all basically jerks, there is a lot of manipulation and lying, and so many long and boring discussions, particularly when they have "business talks", that I honestly have to fast forward through them a little bit. The discussions have certain plot details but they could have been made so much shorter and still done that. But the overall plot is very intriguing nonetheless. And the men are gorgeous, particularly Huang Xing who plays Hua Yong. What kind of other-worldly, etherial beauty is he? How does he even exist? I could look at him and his gorgeous and subtle microexpressions all day. Though I don't like a few things about the show, I am hooked and continuing. I will expand on this review later.

Before you watch...

I’ll be completely honest. I loved every second of it this series genuinely made me happy every Saturday.

For those thinking about watching it just for the second couple… yeah, not for you. If you’re going to watch it, it should be because you’re interested in the main couple and that’s more than enough.

I loved Huan Yong and Shen Shangyou.

Yes, it felt a bit rushed, but that doesn’t take away from how much I enjoyed and loved it.
Lastly, a big round of applause to the entire cast since it’s such a different genre from what they’re used to, it must’ve been a real challenge.

ABO DESIRE REVIEW

I only watch a few BL series—literally just a handful. I’m more into manhwas, and of course, my favorite genre is Omegaverse. I first came across Abo Desire either on Facebook or TikTok, and I got super interested right away since it’s Omegaverse and it’s from China. You know how strict China is with censorship, so that made me even more curious.

It was still ongoing at that time, but since it kept showing up on my feed, I finally gave in and watched it. The first character that caught my attention was Hua Yong, but as the story went on, I ended up crushing on all four of them—though of course, I’m still biased toward Hua Yong.

For me, the story is really good, especially the main couple. You rarely see a feminine top in BLs, and Hua Yong is one, which makes this series so refreshing. I love that Hua Yong is such an enigma—yes, he’s manipulative, but not in a bad way. Everything he does is for Sheng Shaoyou. The plot goes like this: Hua Yong pretends to be an innocent omega, but in reality, he’s way more powerful—he can even impregnate both alphas and omegas since he’s at the top of their hierarchy. He does all of this just to make Sheng Shaoyou fall in love with him.

Now, Sheng Shaoyou is full of pride and ego, being an “S-class alpha” or whatever. He’s such a tsundere—he gets all flustered but refuses to admit it. Deep down, he’s soft, especially when it comes to Hua Yong. But he’s always clashing with Shen Wenlang, who’s basically everyone’s walking headache.

Then there’s my baby Gao Tu, the poor omega who’s deeply in love with Shen Wenlang—a guy so dense and sharp-tongued it’s almost painful. Gao Tu ends up getting pregnant and goes into hiding, and honestly, Shen Wenlang deserves it after how much he made Gao Tu suffer.

Shen Wenlang, on the other hand, is Hua Yong’s best friend. He’s always the one caught between Hua Yong and Sheng Shaoyou’s fights. His mouth is brutal—every scene he’s in, someone’s mad at him. Like, bro, maybe just stop talking for a bit! But I get it; his past explains why he dislikes omegas, which is why he didn’t know about his own child.

I really hope they release more episodes or a special because the Gao Tu and Shen Wenlang storyline feels unfinished. We need more family scenes for both couples!

All in all, this series is one of my absolute favorites even though it’s been heavily bashed, mostly because people prefer the second couple. Honestly, people just can’t accept Hua Yong being a feminine top, which is the same issue Pit Babe faced, but who cares?

The D4 cast totally deserves all the fame they’re getting, and the Nong Jian sisters deserve full support too if not for them, this series wouldn’t even exist. And don’t even get me started on the OST every single song is chef’s kiss! They’re all in my playlist.

My rating? 20,000,000/10. Absolute perfection.

It is the first authentic omegaverse liveaction.

If you're looking for an authentic omegaverse liveaction series, this one is definitely it. It has all the elements of what makes an omegaverse - omegaverse. And yes, there will be men that gets pregnant.
So because it's an omegaverse series, some people might be unfamiliar with this genre and it's concept, so as much as possible, you have to pay close attention to the explanations, because if not, you might find this series confusing.

Personally, for a first omegaverse liveaction series, the show is just right for me, it's very enjoyable to watch. The whole 3 months I followed it was worth it. The cast's chemistry got me good. Their visuals are very pleasant for me to admire.

Now, on serious note, the show does have some flaws with the editing and its screenwriting,(I tends to nitpick) but other than that, it's very enjoyable to watch. The first few episodes may appear slow to some, but as the show progresses, it will keep getting better and better, specially if you lean more on the main couple's storyline. if you follow close the main cp, I think you'll be satisfied with the show and enjoy it.

The FIRST Live action Omegaverse Mpreg BL in History - HuaSheng Edition

A kind Heads-up - This is a BIASED Review !!!

For me, ABO Desire is truly a MASTERPIECE.

A Mini Brief Summary: ABO Desire is a Chinese BL series released this year on 12th July 2025. It consists of 16 Episodes. It stars the Main Leads, Huang Xing (Eliot) and Qiu Dingjie(Kipuka) and the secondary leads, Jiang Heng (Ocean) and Li Pei En (Seeky).

I will reiterate that ABO Desire is hands down a MASTERPIECE.

Why ? Because it stars the mind-blowingly talented, hardworking and versatile Eliot and Kipuka as the Enigma, Hua Yong and the S-Class Alpha, Sheng Shaoyou.

STORY: PERFECT!

To be honest, the story is NOT perfect. It lacks quite a number of elements, but it has great concepts - Enigma x S-Class Alpha and Male Omega x Female Alpha. The point is, XingQiu absolutely aced HuaSheng's storyline! So, for me, XingQiu made the lackluster story a PERFECT 10/10.

ACTING / CAST: PERFECT!

NJ and the Casting Team made the best-est decision of their lives by casting Huang Xing and Qiu Dingjie as Hua Yong and Sheng Shaoyou. There is NO ONE in the entire universe / galactic orbit who could ever portray HuaSheng better than XingQiu.

I also LOVE the casting for Secretary Chen Pin Ming and Secretary Chang Yu - Xuan Hao and Feng Jian Yu did such a great job!

Jacky Heung was a great cameo as Long Zuo, the Milk Candy Male Omega.

Ocean and Seeky did a good job too as Shen Wenlang and Gao Tu, especially Ocean - kudos to him for his first acting job - he did great as a first-time actor.

MUSIC: PERFECT!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the OSTs sung by Huang Xing and Qiu Dingjie the most !!!

I have been rewatching all the Episodes every week while it was still airing. I still have not been able to move on from ABO Desire. I dare say I have rewatched for an umpteenth number of times and will continue rewatching my precious HuaSheng create magic on screen and blow my mind!

OVERALL: 10/10!

I watch ABO Desire for HuaSheng and I absolutely LOVE this series.

It was just as good as the novel

I don't even no where to begin with😍 ravings 😍about this series.
From the OST to the acting of the main cast as well as the all the support characters.
Having already read the novel several times🤭 and with the series only being 16 eps
I knew how this was going to go but I wish they was able to make the final ep at least
70 - 80 minutes long. Also with it only being 16 eps they could've tried to make ShenWL
just a little less of a moron in the final ep. He sees GaoT and the almost the first thing he
does is accuse the man of plotting. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Talk about being an idiot.. a moron and a fool and
being a consistent one throughout the entire series. Also just for the series purposes I wish
we could've got Hua Yong in his Enigma mode where it was seen fully especially by ShengShaoYou
after they officially got together. As for GaoT and ShenWenLang overall I'm satisfied with their
story but they really could've did better in the final ep even if they had to make a change here and there.
I do wish they had more songs for the series OST but all in all this series is beyond a 10/10.

💞 My Feelings About the Drama
I absolutely love the main couple (Hua Yong & Sheng Shaoyou) — they were breathtaking together and gave us such strong chemistry and emotion.
But my favorite couple will always be Gao Tu (Omega) and Shen Wenlang (Alpha).

Lovely Gao Tualways catches my heart and heals me with his pure and warm smile. And Shen— with his calm strength, gentle nature, and deep love — matches him perfectly. They are the true Alpha and Omega couple I always dreamed of seeing in a live-action drama.

Every moment between them felt so precious, magical, and emotional. Their chemistry was pure perfection — every glance, every smile, every hug made my heart melt. 💖

😭 My Heartbreak.
But I also feel very sad… because Gao Tu and Shen Wenlang had so little screen time together.
Their story touched my heart so much, but it ended too soon. I wanted to see more of them — more of their moments, more of their love, more of their happiness.

The ending completely broke me. 💔
I never expected it to end with just one hug for my favorite couple. That single hug was beautiful, but it hurt so deeply. I cried so hard. It felt like my heart shattered into pieces. 😭💔....

Please, please give us ABO Desire Season 2 ! 🙏
I’m begging you from the bottom of my heart — please give us more of Gao Tu and Shen Wenlang’s untold story. Show us their love, their baby Lele, and their life together. They deserve a full, proper, happy ending.

The main couple had a beautiful ending, and I’m so happy for them, but please… Gao Tu and Shen Wenlang also deserve the same happiness. Their story deserves to be completed.
