Thanks for the link.  My big takeaway from your review, and as I've said in my own, we are again talking about the Hong Sisters and their role as writers... more overall... than the actual experience of watching the drama.  I really want to be able to be unaware of the writers until I get to the end, and then think "Wow who wrote that?" (for good or ill).  Not as here, in the beginning, the middle and the end, thinking; "What!?  Why would they make that narrative choice?"  If I can turn off my brain enough, I tend to enjoy Hong Sister dramas for their populist approach, but unfortunately, most of the time, that's not possible for me.  I definitely fall into the low rating camp, but for me it wasn't due to unmet expectations.  It was due to disappointment that they met my expectations as populist writers.
